Lily sighed as she lay on her back in her bunk, Kira next to her and she was gently stroking his head. The boy had passed out a while ago, a side effect of the stress relief Lily gave him as he could leave the fight or flight reflexive state of any combatant. But today was…a little more.

As the blankets covered them it hid Lily's sinful act. Even more so as Kira's spunk leaked from her nethers. She had just been needing as much stress relief as he was after that PTSD hit and the berserk state she hadn't even forced him or waited for him to put on protection. It also took her mind off of the fact she couldn't feel her right arm. Use it sure, she was thankful for that…But she couldn't feel it.

Tears welled up in Lily's eyes as she felt…bad. She had lost control. She didn't even remember releasing the Alaya-Vijnana systems restraints. She just remembered the neural feedback of having her arm cut off, her right hand spazzing out on the control orb, and then…blank until she heard those words.

"I'll be home soon deary." Lily's eyes watered at even thinking of those words.

Several years prior…

Lily panted as she dove behind cover. She was part of a joint task force with the British army to bring down a high level terrorist. As bullets flew overhead she decided to radio to her partner, life partner, that she had met through the task force. They were team B's leader assaulting another entrance but so far hers seemed to be the one mostly receiving fire. As a teammate popped up over the barricade they were behind, Lily pulled the pin on a grenade and tossed it over, the explosion going off shortly after.

"This is Bravo team lead, we are accessing the inner compound. Once the HVT is secured I'll send squad Echo to come help relieve you Alpha team." Stated her partner, her British accent making Lily's heart soar.

As the fighting continued Lily listened for the sounds of fighting further in. She had a talent for tuning out noise so as she heard distant gunfire she knew Bravo team was making progress.

As Lily's team lead motioned for her to move up she vaulted their cover, firing a couple bursts with her rifle to down some enemy combatants. Just as she reached the door the worst possible thing could have come over the radio.

"All units fall back! I REPEAT FALL BACK! The compound is a trap…Oh lord there must be enough C4 here to take out 3 blocks..." Said her lover and Lily immediately began to run back with her team. Stopping though she heard her partner coughing over the radio.

"Shit…There's gas leaking in here…hey…get that door open! Shit they locked us in." She said as she could be heard beating on something metal, likely a door.

Lily's heart sank. "Babe…get out of there…you have to get out of there!" shouted Lily but her team lead was grabbing her and dragging her as she tried to run back into the compound to help.

"I'm sorry deary…*cough cough*...I…I don't think I'm making it out of here." She heard over the radio. More coughing as they heard another team member call out they found a timer which had 10 seconds left on it. They weren't making it out.

"NO! LIZ…LIZ BABE COME ON YOU HAVE TO GET OUT OF THERE! YOU HAVE TO COME HOME AND MEET MY FOLKS!" she shouted, tossing her helmet and holding her mic to her mouth. That was their big plans. They were expected some leave time after this so they planned to go stateside and visit Lily's parents. Oh they had big plans. They were gonna announce their intended marriage and the fact Liz was pregnant. Well not yet but they intended to stop at a sperm bank while on leave.

"I'm sorry love…But I'll be home soon deary." Those were the last words Lily had heard. For the next month she was mute and deaf. Almost catatonic if it weren't for her working on autopilot to at least take care of herself on a routine. That last sentence rang in her head over and over. She could barely watch shows or movies with British actors in them, even more so if they used the word deary. Eventually this faded…But by then she was discharged from the service and sent home. Deemed unfit for combat, Lily…Well enough about that depressing part of her life…

Back to modern day, cosmic era

Looking at her arm under Kira's head she sighed and just kept petting him with her other hand. They both had had a rough day…Both were found crying in their mobile suits…And now they were maybe a little more than friends with benefits. But Lily would set that straight. This would not be a regular thing. She just…She needed one bad thing to take her mind off another.

Closing her eyes the blonde haired girl hoped to god she didn't just make a mistake. Then again she remembered in the show it was hard for coordinators to conceive naturally…So maybe it lowered the risk?

Quietly starting to cry again she just let everything wash over her, let it all out, unaware Asny was outside keeping anyone from bothering them.

Flay looked over the manual of the electronic warfare and enemy ident system. It was her first official shift and since they were out on the ocean, with no known enemies in sight natarle was letting her read the manual rather than learn by trial by fire like most of the tech students had.

She looked to her left to see Miriallia checking her readings and going over her station. Behind her sat Natarle, ready as always in case of enemy attack. And far off to her right was Tolle as the co-pilot of the ship. She had only been on the bridge once before and that was to threaten Zaft with Lacus' life if her daddy was killed.

Of course now she knew thanks to Lily that this was an alternate timeline and he really was dead in her reality. But thanks to Lily in this timeline she still had him. Daddy…the fact she called him that proved just how much of a child she still was at least to her. And now that she actually was a part of the Archangels crew thanks to Sai becoming a pilot she felt she had a purpose. She knew she was supposed to be sleeping with Kira and trying to trick him into feeling like he had gotten her pregnant by playing sick…But this felt better to her.

Returning to her reading from her musings, Flay began to correlate her station's systems together and was planning to be ready by the time they were attacked.

Murdoch sat on a crate with another before him. Laying on it was a tablet with the Strikes diagnostics and lay out and everything about it on it. Across from him Nadi sat on another crate and went over the tablet slowly. The grizzled mechanic was worried the Strike may be too much for Nadi and his people given the gundam frames ease of maintenance.

Finally Nadi spoke up…Well chuckled and slid the tablet back. "Seems simple enough. It's a well built piece of machinery. But the battery…there has to be some way around that limited operating time." Stated Nadi as he looked to Murdoch.

Murdoch gave the old man a shrug. "With the N-jammers nuclear is out and we don't even know if half-metal like what you have is a thing in this universe. So making an ahab reactor, if we could, is out. What else is there for a machine that big?" asked Murdoch.

Nadi put a hand to his chin and rubbed it. "You have a point. I'll keep thinking on it and let you know if I come up with anything. In the meantime I should get back to repairing the Demon King's arm." Said the old man before he stood and held out a hand. "So far it's been a pleasure working with you. I'm excited to see what we can do working together and combining knowledge from both our worlds MS technology fields." Stated Nadi. Murdoch nodded and shook Nadi's hand. "Likewise" he said simply.

Alarms blared all over the ship as it was brought to level 2 battle stations. As the alarms blared Asny ran off to the ready room, intent on getting the Torment out first. Kira and Lily could sit this one out. She would handle this.

On the bridge as the DiNN's were confirmed and the ship was brought to level 1 battle stations Murrue called out, "get the pilots to their machines!" Natarle looked up at her with an raised eyebrow, "but Captain the Strike…" Natarle started.

"It can't fly in the atmosphere and it can't swim, I know! But we have to at least hope one of the others can. At the very least get skygrasper one in the air and the Flauros howitzer up in anti-air set up!" called out Murrue as she did not wanna argue with Natarle right now.

Radar called out, "DiNN's approaching! One at ten o'clock and one at four o'clock!" he said, turning back to Natarle to see what she decided to do.

"Load wombats into missile tubes seven through ten and prepare to fire! Activate the Igelstellungs! Fire!" she called out and they felt the ship shake slightly as the large missiles left their tubes.

As skygrasper one was launched with the launcher striker pack, Asny brought up her comms with Sai. "Lily won't be launching today due to the damage to her machine. I want you out there in anti-air mode while I handle anything else." She said to Sai before she watched him nod and then start heading out to launch.

Meanwhile Asny got on the comms with the bridge. "Don't bother launching the Strike. My machine may need to be recovered same as the Strike but I'll fare better against any underwater suits than the Strike and the Demon King is still out of commission." Stated Asny.

Murrue nodded and the comms was cut while Asny went to launch.

Asny walked the Torment out of the launch tunnel just in time to hold up her shield and block a torpedo turned missile as well as a pair of beams. She grit her teeth as her machine shook but she ultimately boosted out of the tunnel and into the water.

As the Torment sank she could see the GOOhNs swimming around and turning to come at her. She knew their tactics and as one swam to charge her she moved her arms up to catch it. When she did so she fired a couple of her rockets from under her arm at point blank range, hitting the GOOhN and forcing it back.

Reaching behind her Asny drew her halberd in its short handle position so she would have better and faster control underwater. This would be tricky with no real weapons other than her halberd that could fire underwater.

As the aquatic mobile suits circled her she watched and waited, holding her halberd out just behind her in a ready position she held her shield up to block more torpedoes. As the bubbles from the explosions faded she saw her chance as she was about to be rammed again. Timing it right she pushed the GOOhN away with her shield as it charged before turning and swinging her halberd as best she could. It was like moving through some kinda goo due to the weight of the weapon.

Thankfully her hit connected and she found herself burying the halberd into the mobile suit's back. Quickly withdrawing it she watched as the compromised mobile suit swam off and was quickly crushed under the water's pressure before exploding.

Knowing what that meant for the other pilot Asny turned and prepared to challenge it. The GOOhN seemed obviously upset with her as it charged her recklessly. This time she merely turned and let it swim by but as she did so she let go of her halberd, knowing what that meant as it sank she reached out and grabbed it's foot.

The confused aquatic suit turned and tried to get away but ultimately Asny pulled it back and grabbed its large fin. Pulling on the fin she used the Torment's natural strength to tear it off before flipping it around and jamming it into one of the GOOhNs vents. Letting the machine go she let it swim off, now also compromised, and let it explode.

Can a Demon swim?

Above the water Sai was actually enjoying his time piloting the Flauros. Not that it was fun or easy, no he was simply happy to have a more fulfilling role on the ship. As his targeting locked onto a DINN he fired a long burst from his flak chainguns, filling the air with explosions and shrapnel.

The fact that they had proper anti-air seemed to surprise the DINN as it faltered for a moment and got caught on the wing by a shell. As it turned to flee, Sai locked on with his tank cannon. "Not today. You're gonna be my first kill." He said before pulling the trigger and watching as the cannon shell hit the DINN in the back, making its back arch for a moment before the shell tore through it and the machine exploded.

Pumping his fist in the air, Sai cheered, "Yes! First one down." over comms La Flaga smiled. "Good work kid. Now pull the other one off me so I can get a clear shot on it!" said Mu as he flew past with the other DINN following.

Sai nodded and didn't bother locking on but fired a burst from his flak gun, causing the DINN to break off its pursuit. However as it wheeled around it started to come straight for Sai, disregarding its life as it flew into the valiants firing arc while firing its rifle. As the rounds hit the Flauros and did nothing the DINN went slack in the air for a moment, clearly saddened as it knew it was over as its airspace was flooded with flak from Sai and the Valiant finished it off by punching a hole clean through the torso.

With that the ship slowly came to a stop and got ready to recover the Torment.

Several hours later the ship was back underway.

Kira groaned as he stretched, standing in front of Lily's bunk. The two had just gone at it again after they had not had to fight in the last sortie and Kira felt…Well fresher than ever. He felt well rested. He felt relaxed. It didn't help they both had a cuddle session where they discussed the last battle they were in and Kira learned about Lily's PTSD while she basically diagnosed him with PTSD after killing Waltfeld. After all, anytime he thought about other mobile suits he had shot down all he could think of was Waltfeld.

Kira looked back to Lily who just waved, laying on her side reading some book that had been in the last supply crates they got from Amy. There was certainly something different about this than when he had sex with Flay that one time. There was passion, emotion, care and comfort. And afterwards when they just laid together he felt like she actually wanted him there.

Of course the coordinator brought this up and Lily insisted not to get too attached. She was just blowing off steam, she said. Kira wasn't so sure…But he also looked at the reality of their age difference. Plus he knew she wanted a family. What good was he becoming a teen parent?

Deciding to go get something to eat he got dressed and headed out.

Kuzzey sighed as him and Sai looked over a map of their potential routes to Alaska. "You don't think it's gonna happen?" asked Kuzzey as he looked up to Sai standing over him, the newly minted pilot still shirtless as he had learned most Tekkadan pilots had walked around shirtless or in tank tops due to their whiskers. His uniform no longer fit him due to that single spike in his back.

Sai shook his head, "Probably not, I mean we are headed to Alaska, going to Orb would take us completely off our course." Stated Sai as he stood up straight and crossed his arms. Behind them Cagalli was listening intently, the princess of Orb curious if she might get to go home as well but since they didn't know who she really was she couldn't say.

Miriallia was nearby and nodded. "We are soldiers of the Alliance now, our duty is to this ship. Besides as the commanding officers said we can't exactly take shore leave mid mission." She said as she felt bad for her two friends. She wanted to see her folks too sure but she knew there was no way that the Archangel could make such a detour for basically just them.

Kuzzey groaned, "But not one thing about this mission has gone to plan, all starting with Zafts assault on heliopolis!" he exclaimed. "Plus I doubt they planned to have us fight alongside the rebels or land in Africa or so many other things. Hell Lily and Asny aren't apart of the plan but we go out of our way for them!" he said loudly and Sai just patted his back.

"Relax Kuzzey. We will get home soon enough. Then we can all relax and forget this war exists again…" He said even though Sai now had a permanent reminder of the war and his part in it on his back.

It was then that Kira entered and looked at the room's occupants. Seeing Sai he raised an eyebrow to him being shirtless.

"It's easier to not wear a shirt than walk around with basically a hump in my uniform." Said Sai with a tinge of anger at Kira as he knew why he was starring.

Kira blinked and nodded. "Sorry. I guess I didn't think of that. How goes your training with the Flauros howitzer?" asked Kira as he went over to the meal tray dispenser and grabbed one, looking over the food options to see what he wanted.

Sai watched him as he loaded up his tray and walked over to their table. "It's going well. I'm working mostly on my accuracy with the railguns. Learning to fire them in sync or at least well timed shots." Said Sai as he sat down as well, watching Kira start to eat.

"That's good. I should probably see about training with the launcher pack when possible…" he started but Kuzzey couldnt help but mutter, "or just not fucking your superior." Which had Kira stop and glare before continuing. "Anyways I know how it is, not having the ability to fire quickly but having a lot of power behind each shot. Your lucky though. You don't have to worry about battery power when you shoot." Said Kira but Sai just scoffed.

"Yeah just ammunition. But I guess that's not too different when your shots deplete your power." Said Sai as he sipped a water bottle.

Kira nodded with a light chuckle. "Yeah I guess that's true. Say what are those five special rounds I saw in the new ammo racks they have near the Flauros?" asked Kira as he was curious why they glowed.

Sai looked to kira with a damn near death glare which confused the coordinator. "No clue…Lily won't tell me. Just said she will say when to fire them." Said Sai as he crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow to Kira. Afterall he was the one sleeping with her…Or at least spending so much time with her. Why not ask her?

Kira chuckled nervously and focused on eating.

Yzak growled as he looked at his commander. He had just been told that the Demon of the Archangel, the Demon King that is, would be a primary target for another day essentially. Due to its extensive damage during the fight in Africa. Zaft deemed it non-combative for now as they did not know if they had replacement parts for it or not. Instead if it did show up it was to be handled by a new fifth team member they were receiving, a Tsuga Akira.

"Commander, I am begging you. Let me take on that Demon. I know I can beat it this time!" he exclaimed as he took a step forward.

Rau turned to him and shook his head. "Yzak you're letting your emotions cloud your judgment." said Rau and Yzak just took another step. "But Sir!" he started but was interrupted by a ring at the door.

"Pardon us." Said Athrun as him and Nicol entered the briefing room.

"You're fine, Athrun. We were just getting started. As you know we must stop the legged ship from reaching Alaska with the data it has gathered. Unfortunately that mission has been assigned to a team operating out of Carpentaria." He said as Athrun and Nicol sat down.

"But the legged ship is ours. We have been chasing it and know it better than anyone." Said Yzak with another growl. Dearka stood up and called out, "Hell yeah it's ours to put in the ground!"

Nicol sighed and shook his head. These two had a death wish he felt.

"I agree. In order to prepare for Operation Spitbreak I am needed here. Perhaps you four…Or five once Tsuga arrives, should take that conviction into your own hands." Said Rau as he adjusted his mask.

"We will…" Said Yzak with deadly intent.

"Then from here on out we shall form you into a Strike group. You know your mission. Athrun will be in charge since he is piloting the GAT series that was meant to be the command suit of the team." Said Rau. This made Yzak's blood boil even more.

"Commander are you sure?" asked Athrun as he felt he may not be ready for such a responsibility.

Rau walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. "That ship and its mobile suit complement are not your average foe and will be difficult to bring down. I entrust the task of doing so to you." Said Rau before turning back to the group. "I'lll see to it you're transferred to Carpentaria so you can carry out your mission. Make your preparations immediately." He said before leaving.

The alarms blared all through the ship as more mobile suits were picked up on sonar. Kira had just returned to his quarters and wondered if he would get to sortie this go around. Deciding to at least try he ran off towards the ready room to prepare.

In Lily's room she was sitting in her bed, reading over her book. She had no interest in even trying to sortie. After that last fight she was a little shaken and honestly bed just felt like the right place for her. Looking at her arm…It had gotten worse. While she could still move it her reactions were slow and sometimes jerky. Hell she tried to do pushups earlier and fell flat on her face when her arm instantly gave out. "What am I gonna do…" She whispered as tears welled up in her eyes.

In the hangar Sai was already in the Flauros howitzer, having been training. Switching it from its simulation mode to combat mode he closed the cockpit and began the full start up sequence. This time he had been training in CQB and had a good feeling about his ability to fight underwater. Getting a line to the bridge he saw Miriallia. "Any DiNN's this time?" he asked as he flexed in his cockpit and rolled his shoulders. He was still getting used to the cord being attached.

"No, not this time." She said as she looked over the enemy combatant data.

"Then I wanna launch into the water like Asny. Load me up with the short cannons." He said as he started to walk the Flauros to the catapult. It was then he saw them starting to load the Strike and he growled. "Why is the Strike deploying?" He asked angrily.

"Captain wants Kira to replace Asny on the legs. I have orders to load you up for potential anti-air duty. Sorry Sai…Gotta follow orders." She said as the door closed behind the Strike.

While he sat in his cockpit and waited he saw Asny move the Torment ahead of him. "We are in shallower water. Ignore them. I want you under there with me. Your ranged weapons won't be very effective so what you're loaded up with won't matter." Said Asny as once the Strike launched the Torment took its place and rocketed out of the ship.

Sai smiled, at least someone had faith in him. Maybe…He wasn't sure if it was faith or something else. Regardless he let the Skygrasper launch next before he walked out of the tunnel and looked down at the water. Gulping audibly he jumped out of the ship and felt his machine crash into the water.

As he landed on the shallow rocks below the ship he looked around. It was so dark…That was his mistake as he cried out when his mobile suit was bashed from behind.

Turning he saw a GOOhN swim past for a moment before it turned around and fired several torpedoes at him. Bringing up his shields on his arms he took the hits and groaned as his mobile suit shook.

Thankfully his presence was enough of a distraction that a rocket from Asny, the rocket hit the GOOhN facing him and it caused the suit to decompress and explode.

Looking to Asny she had one hand on the leg of the other GOOhN and was holding it with some clear struggle while the other was held out, likely from firing the missile turned torpedo.

Sai smirked as it looked like their job was almost done till he felt through his gundams sensory data the claws of something graze his back. Turning he saw a new mobile suit. A ZnO as his system alerted him. This one seemed cocky as it swam around him, transforming into its mobile suit mode and firing lasers at him as it came down to land on the ground in front of him.

Dodging the lasers easily, Sai jumped to the side and dodged a swipe of those claws again as he drew his assault knives. The Zno moved to swipe again and missed before boosting and ramming him. As it did so Sai took advantage of his suits superior strength, though not as strong as the Torment or Demon King, still he was able to find purchase with an assault knife.

"There…I got you." He said as the ZnO tried to get away but Sai was able to hold him in place against him. Seeing his what he assumed was an air tube about the head he grabbed it with his free hand and pulled. When it didn't break he decided to go for the eye as it would be fragile.

Meanwhile the ZnO pilot began to spam everything he could, causing Sai to rock in his cockpit as he tried to get one of his assault machine guns off their rack. Once acquired he tried to angle it into the eye of his target but the ZnO was struggling too much. Finally he let go of his assault knife and as the ZnO moved to get away he jammed his rifle into the vent on its torso.

"Take this…You bastard!" he shouted before he pulled the trigger, causing several rounds to go off INSIDE the ZnO. The machine stopped and he pushed it back as it began to spark before it exploded.

Turning to Asny he saw the Torment surrounded by oil and GOOhN parts. It seemed she had handled the other GOOhN just fine. Now…how was he getting out of the water?

It was then the fateful call came out. "Hey we have a problem…" came Mu over an open channel. "What's wrong?" Asked Asny. She knew the answer. Cagalli had been shot down/gone missing and he couldn't find her and the gundams were the only ones with enough power to look for her even though they couldn't fly…They could still move decently in the water so long as they came up for air now and then.

"That girl has gone missing. We took out the sub but not before it launched a DINN. I already handled it but it took out her navigation. I've tried radioing her but I can't get a hold of her. I'm sending you the location where I shot down the DINN. Might be a good starting point." Said Mu and sure enough a moment later the coordinates were shot to the entire piloting team. "I'll go look for them." Said Asny as her Gundam turned underwater and she began to walk towards the coordinates. At this rate it would take all night…But she would get there.

It had been a few hours since apparently this blonde natural's crash landing on the small island. After a rather adventurous first encounter he had to admit there was something about the girl that amused him...intrigued him even. And after discussing with her the events that really brought the war to a full boil he wanted nothing more than to get to know her. But when she had started talking about the fact she was untied and could go for his gun he felt guilty.

"Please don't go for my gun…If you do…I'll have to kill you." he stated as he looked down into his lap. The N-jammers were causing too much interference so neither of them could reach anyone on the radio.

Finally he stood back up, feeling himself start to get tired and doze off. Grabbing his mug of instant brew coffee he took a sip of it and stepped out to look up at the Aegis. Ever since he had stolen it from Heliopolis he had had quite the ride in it. First he found Kira and was saddened to learn he was now the pilot of the last GAT series machine they failed to steal. Then the Demon King's amazing entrance to the war…and originally it's capture of Yzak and the Duel.

Right as he went to take another swig from his coffee he noticed a tremor in the ground that was on rhythm with footsteps and his eyes went wide. He had never thought that the girl's plane may have come from the Archangel.

He dropped his mug and ran back into the cave. "Hey girl…You wouldn't happen to have launched from the legged ship would you?" He asked but then he realized she may not know Zaft called it that. "The Earth Alliance's new prototype battleship." He clarified. He hoped to god she said no and he was just imagining the tremors.

"Yeah…And what if I did?" She asked. She then saw the look on his face and shot to her feet. "No way…Is someone here?" she said with a smile.

Athrun groaned. "Please, I don't want to have to take you hostage…If I move my machine before they can show up can you please not say anything about me being here?" he asked as he grabbed his emergency pack. The last thing he needed was for something like the Demon King to show up with him here alone.

The girl raised her eyebrow and finally extended her hand. "Tell me your name first." She said and Athrun blinked. He was confused. Did she want a hand shake? "Um…fine…My names Athrun." He said, taking her hand in his and she slowly shook it.

"Cagalli…now go…it's the least I can do to repay you for your good treatment of me." She stated as she walked out of the cave. The tremors grew stronger and then both of them could hear water being displaced, rushing off something. They were here already?!

Athrun ran out and groaned seeing the black and red machine on the shore, water rushing off it and its vents steaming from the water running on them. Take the girl hostage…or take his chances in the Aegis? He couldn't perform sustained flight in it and he couldn't take on one of the legged ship's demons alone.

Surrender then? That was an option.

A moment later the Torment crouched before taking a knee, a hand coming up to the cockpit as it opened. A moment later a woman stepped out. She was in a tank top and shorts. Yawning, she pointed to him. "Get over here kid, help me out of this thing. Jesus. There's no way two people are fitting in this thing so I might as well surprise you kids till the Torment's had some rest and I can hover back to the Archangel." Said the woman as she motioned for Athrun to come to her.

This confused him…But she wasn't attacking and she wasn't exactly demanding surrender. Walking over he climbed up to her cockpit hatch and got to see what she meant.

"Those Tekkadan guys make it hard to remove on my own. Sometimes I miss my bio weave suit but it's too hot on earth to fight in it." She said as Athrun got to work dislodging the Alaya-Vijnana connector.

So he had been right. They were connected to the machine through this cable. Finally getting it unstuck he watched her jump down. Glancing into the cockpit he was surprised she was letting him stay there. But looking back he saw her run over to Cagalli and look her over. She was more worried about her than she was him discovering secrets.

Deciding to not take advantage of the situation he hopped down himself and walked over.

"You two haven't been up to anything have you?" She asked with a grin and Cagalli's and Athrun's faces went red.

"No! Asny, why the hell would that be the first question you ask!?" shouted Cagalli. She sure was loud. Intriguing…but loud.

Athrun looked to the fire they had made and motioned for the group to go over to it. As they all sat around the fire he thought about what he could say to this woman to maybe learn all he could about her and/or her mobile suit.

"Names Torment, kid…Before ya go asking questions about him know I'm not from this world. Neither is he. So even if I told you about him it's not like Zaft can replicate any of it." Said the woman before pointing to herself. "I'm Asny Smith. You're Athrun Zala right?" she asked before holding out a hand. Everyone wanted to shake his hand…what was with that?

As he shook it, she nodded. "Yeah…how did you know?" asked Athrun as he blinked confused.

She smiled. "Just trust me…I know alot about you. It comes with coming from another world. You'll learn about it eventually." She said before patting his back which made him blinked in confusion more.

Several hours later as the sun began to rise and all three had chatted and got to know each other a bit better Asny looked at her watch. "Well Torment's reactor should have cooled off by now, oxygen tanks refilled, all that. Cagalli, let's get moving." Said Asny as she looked to the blonde.

Cagalli nodded and they all stood up. Turning to Athrun she held out her hand again. "Thanks for not starting yet another battle when she showed up. It means alot to me to know there are level headed people like you out in Zaft." Said Cagalli.

Athrun nodded. "And the same for you and Asny. Even if you're not Earth Forces the fact there are people who can be reasonable. Fighting in this war means we are one step closer to ending it." Said Athrun.

And with that Cagalli went and helped Asny back into her cockpit before she insisted on sitting in the cockpit even if it was cramped. As the cockpit closed and the torment took off hovering over the water.

As they did that, Athrun's own tracker went off and he went to the Aegis. Finding the radio working he was happy to hear help was on the way.

Can a Demon swim?

Ok so…That's another chapter down. I think last time it took us what? A few months to reach Orb? Instead we are here in under a month? Between the shorter chapters and just this story in general I am having so much fun.
