It had been about a month since Lily had realized her paralysis was psycho-somatic. She had been working tirelessly since then to overcome her paralysis and finally today she was able to walk again, she was able to use her arm, and while she couldn't feel her right side she was slowly getting that back too.
Lily groaned as she tried her best to work the fine detail parts of her latest model together in Amy's living room. Growling as she once more snapped a piece she tossed the parts, now broken, and sighed. "I need a new model if I am gonna go back in." She said as Amy came into the room with a cup of coffee.
"Hey I told you, let me and Dylan handle the construction of a new model. You focus on getting better." Said Amy as she looked at what Lily was building. It appeared to be a Barbatos Lupus but somewhat shoddily painted, likely due to her still not having full use of her dominant right arm. She also noticed a real grade Tallgeese 3. Did Lily plan to use parts from it? It was hard to kitbash real grades. And real grades could get expensive, which explained why Lily wasn't using it yet.
Lily looked up to Amy and sighed. "Yeah I guess. My main thing is getting him to fly. The Barbatos can't exactly fly and most of the future fights I'll be in will be in the air." Said Lily as she looked at the Tallgeese. Amy nodded. "That's fair but I don't think throwing more speed onto an already fast machine is gonna help." She said as she looked over Lily's options.
Lily also had a Freedom Gundam out, a Strike Freedom, and several other winged gundams. It seems she felt the thruster that Amy gave her Demon King was not sufficient enough. With that in mind Amy decided to help Lily stand and motioned for her to leave. "Go go. Shoo. just tell me what you want the gundam to do and I'll do it." She said.
Lily sighed and thought for a moment. "I want it colored similarly to the Torment, just make it metallic with blue highlights. Leave the red parts red and the yellow parts make them blue. Then I obviously want it to fly. I planned to merge its arms with the Lupus Rex so I still have the 200MM gun. Same with the feet cause I like the pile bunker in the heel. Otherwise…just make it able to compete with the second GAT lineup so I'm not having to leave them to Kira and Athrun." Said Lily.
"Compete or beat?" asked Amy with a grin and Lily groaned and shrugged. "Whatever you feel I need. Just don't go too crazy." She said before she grabbed her cane she had for walking and walked out of the room to go get something to eat.
Amy meanwhile looked down at the mess Lily had made on the living room table and shrugged. "Ok…Time to get to work." She said as she headed back to her computer room to start 3D rendering a new model for Lily. She always tried to picture the model before she built it. That way she didn't get halfway done and then end up making a mistake or change she wanted that would require her to start over.

"Hey be gentle will ya? I'm injured ya know! You guys are as bad as they claim in training…'' Exclaimed Dearka as he was guided through the crew quarters towards the brig after having been stripped, searched, and given some basic clothing.
As he was led through the ship though he noticed a brunette in the crowd of crewmen watching him. Ignoring the guns jabbed into his back to get him to move he stopped. "Well I'll be damned…at least you have one cute girl onboard this flying wreck. But give me a break? What's with the tears?" he said in a mocking tone before laughing as he was forced to move. "Please…if anyone should be crying it's me…after all I'm probably gonna have my execution covered up as some interrogation gone wrong accident or some shit like that…" He said and he heard them have to hold someone back from taking a swing at him…but he still found himself on the floor with his jaw hurting.
With a grunt he rolled over onto his back and looked up to see a woman who was in a tank top and cargo pants standing over him. It took him a moment but he recognized it as the woman who captured him.
"Shut the fuck up. Be glad I didn't just blast away your cockpit and kill you when I had the chance." Said the woman as she was forced to step back by the marines.
"Miss you can't hit him. That's against military law to harm a prisoner." Said a marine as they helped Dearka up.
"I'm not part of your military so your laws don't exactly apply to me. I'll deck a jackass if I see one." Said Asny as she walked past them, specifically shoulder bumping Dearka before she headed towards her bunk.
Secretly of course she knew Dearka and Miriallia would be an item…but she wasn't gonna spoil the future for anyone. Still she never liked how candid Dearka was about being a prisoner and his outlook towards women. Such a womanizer but he ends up being a decent guy in the end. She couldn't wait to see that.

Lily watched as two gunpla battlers duked it out in a gunpla battle at the local hobby shop. She had opted to come here to try and relax instead of staying around the house.
It was a custom Deathscythe hell custom versus a Crossbone Gundam.
The two were neck and neck damage wise with the Crossbone launching a scissor anchor from its skirt armor to latch onto the Deathscythes scythe in an attempt to disarm the opponent.
As the scythe was pulled towards the Crossbone the Gundam came with it and punched the Crossbone in the head. As the Crossbone stumbled back the Deathscythe took advantage of the stunned moment to fire its head vulcans at the scissor anchor. Breaking it off it tried to slash the Crossbone.
Lily watched and was almost eager to try and set up a match herself but she was still a ways away from being able to fight completely. Maybe in the simulation cockpit with the Alaya-Vijnana system being used but there was no way she could fight like she was now.
Still though watching the fight had her fired up. Grabbing her cane she decided it was better to try and fail than not try at all. Walking up to the front counter she looked over the rental kiosk the store had for models.
Glancing through she saw a Barbatos Lupus was available. Given it was her planned unit for going back to the Cosmic Era she figured it was best to get used to it as a basic suit before she got used to a custom. It had a variant screen for its attached weapons and she selected the 200MM gun variant with its sword mace as its primary weapon.
Signing up for the next match she waited and decided to look over the model as it was brought to her. It was cleanly built, maybe not to her standards but it was still well built. The sword mace had a metallic black coating and the 200MM guns were set in the stored position. It was otherwise a basic built Barbatos Lupus.
As she walked into the dueling room she tried to pick out who she wanted for an opponent. Finally she saw one and as her name was called it seemed so was theirs. It was a young boy piloting a calamity full mechanics straight built. So it would be a straight build vs straight build. Perfect.
Lily set her rented GP base down and then followed it by setting the Barbatos Lupus down on it.
When prompted to launch she rocketed out of the launch tunnel created by the gunpla battle system. The field was thankfully space which meant neither machine had a movement advantage. Looking around, Lily wanted to try and find the Gundam quickly so she could test how well her recovery was going. Win or lose she planned to use gunpla battle as her gauge for when she was ready to go back.
Finally she found the Calamity by way of having to dodge a barrage from its full arsenal. Barrel rolling Lily boosted towards it, intent on getting close but right as she got up and went to swing her sword mace her leg gave out for a moment and she instead boosted down, thankfully out of the way of a 337MM plasma sabot round to the face.
Standing she boosted up under it and went for a back shot, intent on crushing the cannons on its back. The Calamity spun around and blocked on its shield and tried to fire its bazooka again.
This time Lily was more prepared as she managed to jam one of her 200MM gunda into the barrel of the bazooka and before the could fire she did, setting off the shell inside the bazooka. Disconnecting from the gun she boosted back as did the Calamity just in time to avoid the bazooka exploding.
Lily came back quickly and swung at the Calamity, managing to connect with one of its cannons on its back. Boosting back again she decided hit and run attacks would be best as it launched another barrage. Diving she went to bring up her other 200MM gun but found her right hand seized.
Growling Lily focused as best she could and got her hand to work, finally bringing it up but not before the Calamity could grab her head and get a good grip on her.
Struggling Lily attempted to smack the Calamity but it just caught it on its shield. Since this was just plastic Vs plastic the Barbatos was no match for the Calamity as it fired its scyla cannon point blank, removing Lily's right arm and doing a good bit of damage to her torso.
"Damn it missed. Quit squirming!" She heard the other fighter say and she chuckled.
"I'll quit struggling when you let go." She said as she used her left arm and jammed it into the scylla cannon, causing it to get stuck. The one nice thing about models, she could disconnect the arm and so she was able to boost away…however with both arms gone as the scylla cannon blew up she was kinda out of offensive options…
As the Calamity came out of the smoke she sighed and decided to let the enemy have his victory. She almost had him. But then again that was the story of her life it seemed.
Conceding she watched as the gunpla battle system shut down around them, both models falling from where they had been floating prior.
The enemy fighter cheered and didn't bother with even a courtesy "GG" so Lily didn't bother either as he seemed eager to go customize his model.
Lily meanwhile grabbed her rented unit and looked it over. It had done fine and with a little reinforcing and customizing it would be almost up to par with her Demon King.
Handing it back to the stores cashier she offered to give it a tune up and repaint it as with the fight being at LVL C the most damage applied to the model itself were scuff marks.
The cashier insisted they had their own repair guy and that she didn't need to. It didn't help that Lily nearly dropped it as her hand seized again.
With that she left, more confident in her choice in gunpla. And she also noticed she missed the connection the Alaya-Vijnana system gave her. There was just something comforting about having that feeling of the Gundam being your own body.

Tsuga sighed as she went through the ceremony for bringing down the alien machine. She sat in her chair and waited patiently to be called up. Several others were getting awards for various things such as a scientist was being praised for his work reengineering the GAT series tech from the Heliopolis Prototypes.
Another was a pilot getting an award for having killed some key Earth Alliance personnel, highly decorated mobile armor pilots mostly. That specific pilot was quite boastful, showing off his new faith badge to what she could only assume was his squad. He would be awarded a personal machine instead of a generic GiNN and would receive special missions from here on out.
Finally Tsuga was called up and she walked up to the front podium.
Newly appointed Chairman Zala turned to her after giving a short speech about the threat she defeated, how it was otherworldly and a menace toZaft and all coordinator kind. Finally turning to her he held out her new faith badge and announced a large party would be being held for her to truly thank her for her "heroic" actions. Also her Desert Viper would be given a tune up and re-armored in the latest version of its prototype armor.
While Tsuga was happy with this as she shook his hand and looked out to the crowd for photos she felt something was missing. No one in the crowd was watching for her. No one was here FOR HER. They were here in general because they were invited.
She couldn't recall what happened to her family but they weren't around. And she had no real friends to speak of. No squad to go out and drink with after this as the pilot and his friends had cheered that they would go do. Maybe she would grab a drink after this, after all Zala said it would be a day or two till her party.
Walking off stage she walked back to her seat and sat down, sighing once more as she looked around her. She felt so alone. She wondered if that girl back in Orb really had been the pilot she shot down? After all there were three frame types on the Archangel. Maybe she piloted a different one. Either way she planned to take some leave before her next mission and go looking for her in Orb.

Athrun looked down at the amulet Cagalli had given him. He was sitting in a military aircraft taking him, Yzak and a rescued Nicol back to Carpentaria. Yzak had come back to make sure both of them were actually who they said they were. Due to him losing the Blitz, Nicol was scheduled to be discharged from service honorably for his fight against the Torment. Yzak was waiting on the Duel to get fixed before he could go back into service and Athrun…Well he just self destructed the Aegis. He did not expect to see service anytime soon, injuries withstanding.
As the vehicle took off, Athrun looked out a window. He watched as the Orb carrier craft took off as well and wondered what Cagalli would be doing now? He had watched them recover the Strike. It seemed his explosion didn't do as much damage as he had hoped.
Still Kira was unable to be found and no sign of his body but the cockpit had been melted rather well, Athrun somewhat hoped his friend survived but part of him also hoped he had a quick death if he did die. Not bleeding out somewhere, having been flung from his cockpit.
Athrun had no idea that his fiance was currently housing his friend and taking care of him.

Back on the plants Lacus was currently playing with her collection of haro's made by Athrun. To her they were just robotic companions and a sign of Athruns friendship. She had no idea how iconic they were to the universe Lily was from.
Either way as she played she found one haro doing something bad. "Why do you do this?" She asked as she looked at the haro. It was Mr. Green.
"You're being naughty Mr. Green and I don't play with naughty haro's." She said as she looked at the other haro's. Mr. Pink started hopping away shouting, "They'll kill you! They'll kill you!" and as it did it was hopping towards an open greenhouse in the yard. Inside was a medical bed with someone in it.
As Lacus followed it she shouted, "Pink don't go in there!" but the little haro did anyway, hopping on the bed before rolling to a stop. Grabbing him, Lacus looked at the person in the bed.
It was one Kira Yamato, and he groaned as he slowly awoke.
"Well look who is finally awake." Said Lacus with a gentle smile on her face.
Kira was confused as he looked around, somewhat in a panic but he quickly calmed when he realized she was the only one around. "Wh-where am I?" Asked Kira as he weakly sat up but Lacus forced him back gently.
"Rest. you're in the plants, at my personal home. Reverend Malchio brought you here when he found you unconscious on an island on Earth. He thought it would be the best place for you to receive care." She said as she sat at the end of Kira's bed.
"Reverend…who?" He asked as he was still so confused. Last he remembered was his life flashing before his eyes as the Aegis nearly fired its scylla cannon. Then Athrun jumped out and past that it was blank.
Lacus smiled. "Don't worry…you're safe here. Reverend Malchio is a friend. No one else knows you're here." Said Lacus.
Kira nodded and slowly relaxed.
With that Lacus launched into quietly talking with Kira about the events post her leaving the Archangel. About Lily and her friend that showed up. Everything.

Lily looked over the 3D render that Amy had made of the Gunpla she intended to use.
It was metallic black overall with metallic blue highlights where they would normally be yellow. The few red parts were now a mica red and had a metallic shine to them. It generally was just a custom colored Barbatos Lupus, but it had a few changes.
For one thing the arms had been customized to include the Lupus Rex's 200MM gun ports. They also had been reinforced as Lily usually did. They were slightly thicker and had a surprise built into the arms.
The feet were straight up replaced with the ones from the Lupus Rex, same with the hands however the hands had been customized with said surprise.
All the joints in general were reinforced and the claws would be programmed with a replacement metal, the same metal the Gundams frame was made out of. Similar to its new long sword, this would allow the Gundams claws to pierce other machines easier as long as they were kept sharp.
The last change was the subarms on its back had been replaced with the wings from a Bael Gundam.
In terms of armaments it had the sword mace which Lily felt was more refined than the massive thing her Demon King had used. Then there was the surprise in each arm and the 200MM guns and lastly the electromagnetic cannons in each of the thruster wings.
This would be the Gundam named…
