Arya placed her finger up to her lips as she glared at the sight of Daenerys Targaryen. A woman thought to be dead for years now… yet here she was… very much alive. Arya could hardly believe it as anger and fury ignited inside of her. How dare she be alive… after all this time…

"Shhh…" she very quietly said through her teeth as she looked down on Daenerys. She looked to the side to see the little girl Lya… a little angry at the way she was clutching onto "the mad queen". Did she even know who she was?

Dany glared back at Arya with disbelief and grave concern. How did she come to be here of all places? How did she find her? How long had she known? What were her intentions?

Arya signalled for Dany to get up. Her heart was racing with anxiety and fear… not for herself, but for her children. Dany gently pulled Lya's arm off of her waist and pressed her lips lightly against her head before she carefully pushed her off of her. Dany soon stood up very slowly and came to be face to face with Arya.

Their eyes locked with an airy ice cold hatred for each other… Neither one quite believed that this was even happening. It felt surreal. Arya eyed Dany up and down analysing her state. It made her angry to see that she was perfectly okay and still looked the same and as beautiful as ever as if she had been living a perfect life with an innocent conscience.

Jon said he had killed her though… but she definitely was not dead… so… it was all a lie. Her dear brother had lied to his siblings' faces… had lied to the world. Arya's grip on the handle of catspaw tightened as she couldn't come to believe it. She backed up out of the room keeping her knife pointed in Dany's direction as she silently instructed the mad queen to follow her outside.

As they slowly entered the hallway, Dany stopped at her son's bedroom, still keeping her eyes sharp on Arya. She gently opened the door to check on them. Seeing them both sound asleep and unharmed brought her great relief. If Arya was wanting to assassinate them, she would have done so by now.

She closed the door and continued to follow Arya until they were outside and the fresh night air pierced her skin. They walked until they were a fair distance away from the house. They stood in silence for a minute while the moon and stars shone above them. Dany was first to speak.

"How did you find me?" she asked Arya, breaking the silence. Her voice was shaky and barely louder than a whisper.

Arya stared daggers at Dany, her lips tight and eyebrows narrowed. How dare she be alive… And… the little girl… Lya… she must be… her child… Yes. It all made sense now…

"Now I know why her smile looks so familiar…" Arya said with spite.

Dany looked at her oddly with confusion that she tried incredibly hard to hide.

"Whos?" Dany asked.

"Lya's…" Arya said sternly. "Your daughter I presume?"

Dany felt her heart drop. Arya had met Lyanna? When? Where? How? She felt her hands fist as she grew angry at Arya and afraid for her daughter who so easily could have been hurt, kidnapped or even killed. Did Arya know who she was?

"When did you meet my daughter?" Dany asked firmly. She was certainly not in any position to be asking questions, but her fear was fueling her motherly fire that caused her to become extremely protective.

"Sweet girl… it's a pity she's a Targaryen…" Arya said, disregarding her questions.

"What does that mean?"

"It means… you and your children… are going to die… That's too bad… I really liked her…"

Dany glared at Arya as she said that. Her heart was racing and her blood was boiling. Her children… her innocent, sweet children whom she had only ever wanted to protect from the sins of her past were now threatened.

"You would kill children?" Dany said hotly, thinking Arya not to be the type… yet there was something murderous about the woman who adopted killing to be a part of her nature.

"Why not? You did." Arya spoke. " Think of it as a taste of your own medicine."

Dany gulped feeling her chin quiver and her eyes slightly water. Arya eyed her coldly, watching her every move and expressions, ready and prepared if she were to stupidly attempt anything. The look on Daenerys's face almost showed… guilt… remorse?

"Don't tell me you regret it…" Arya snarked, almost finding herself laughing. "You've been hiding this entire time… you could have come back and destroyed us all and fulfil your purpose like you said you would… why didn't you?" Arya asked, genuinely curious to know.

Dany lowered her eyes, staying silent as her breathing became shaky. She could feel her nails digging into her palms and her heart speeding up the more she thought about it all…

"You regret it… don't you…" Arya said. "Doesn't matter… you will soon be reunited with death." Arya said, clutching her dagger tightly and stepping a little closer.

Dany was quick to suddenly step forward and come toe to toe with Arya who was caught slightly off guard by the action.

"You can kill me… but don't harm my children… They're innocent." Dany said, glaring into Arya's soul.

Arya laughed at the "request".

"They're Targaryens… There are no innocent Targaryens… They will grow up to be just like you…" Arya said. "Mad. Filled with fire. Conquerors and Usurpers."

"Don't you dare touch them! They aren't like that at all and they certainly will not grow to be as you think!" Dany said, slightly losing her temper.

Arya smiled a wicked smile as she found joy in making Daenerys Targaryen nervous whether she was bluffing or not.

"We'll see…" snickered Arya as she held the blade firmly up to Dany's torso making her step back a little… but before Arya could stab her…

"That smile you recognise… you think it's mine… but it's not…" Dany whispered. Arya hesitated, confused as to what she meant by that and grinned at the mad Targaryen talking mad nonsense.

"it's Jon's…" Dany revealed.

At that Arya's smile faded, her dagger slightly lowering as she felt her breath slip away. What?

"Jon is the father of Lya and her brother Ed… my twins. Eddard and Lyanna…"

Arya didn't know how to react. Never had she heard such an outrageous story. Arya gritted her teeth and raised her dagger once again as she felt even more angry now more than ever. She could kill Daenerys for making up such cruel lies!

"Lies won't save you now." she spat through her teeth.

"I'm not lying… they're Starks by Jon's blood and if you kill them… you kill your family… your niece… your nephew…"

Arya got right up close to Dany and held the edge of the blade right at her throat. Daenerys did not flinch nor did she show any sign of fear. Only then could Arya tell that she was telling the truth.

Arya gulped as tears grew in her eyes and she began to lose all composure and confidence she had previously just had. Jon had lied to her… had lied to her about everything… her brother whom she loved and trusted with all her heart…

"How dare you. How dare you keep them away from us! How dare you give them those names and not tell anyone!" Arya said as she couldn't stop the tears from sliding down her cheeks.

"They would have been killed! They wouldn't have stood a chance in such a world where there are people who want revenge against me! I did it because I love them. I named them those names because of the respect I bear for their father and your family…"

"Shut Up! You don't care about us! You are an evil bitch who deserves nothing but death!" Arya said, piercing the blade against Dany's throat a little harder so that specs of blood began to spill.

Dany winced in pain but still did not show an attempt to fight off Arya. She understood why this was happening… why Arya hated her… but she would gladly give into death if it meant her children would get to live.

"You can kill me… but please… do not harm my children…" Dany begged again.

"Oh kill you I will… but first… I'm going to make you suffer in more ways than you could ever imagine!" Arya hatefully spat.

Dany's eyes went wide at seeing a large silhouette come into view just inches behind Arya who had unnatural cat-like instincts. Dany knew she would be capable of killing him in a split second if he came too close and so tried to warn him before it was too late!

"No stop!" Dany loudly shouted as Tai came running over with an axe wielded over his head ready to send it down upon Arya. At the sound of Dany's voice he stopped midway, confused and in a panic.

Arya spun around having sensed the presence of another right away and didn't hesitate as she skillfully dodged out of the way and on instinct alone, plunged the dagger into the man's torso.
