Back to you 7
Hinata sighed as she lingered behind waiting for the Uchiha to decide on what to do. They were arguing about how to go about it and she was getting annoyed with them once more. "Indecisive idiots…" she grumbled as they continued to argue amongst themselves. "Hey… Madara, Izuna… you don't have long to figure it out, they're out hunting right now you know." She hissed softly and they snapped their heads up at her suddenly. She turned to face them fully from her perch in the tree and they could see the veins bulging around her eyes. Madara seemed deep in thought for a moment, but Izuna wasn't understanding what was going on.
Unlike Madara, Izuna hadn't fought hyuuga before her it seemed. "I can see great distances and genjutsu don't work on my eyes. She explained this briefly and he seemed to understand, judging from the look on his face. He continued to rock from one foot to the other nervously, Hinata knew he was worried that this wasn't going to work and she couldn't blame him. This was a scary situation in which if handled wrong someone could die. While she didn't approve of what Madara did after Izuna died, it was her job to ensure it didn't happen. Which was why she wanted Izuna to stay home but he refused, as did Tajima and Misaki.
She glanced back at the silent matriarch and patriarch and could tell they were prepared to do whatever it took to protect their remaining sons. She respected their resolve, but she wasn't going to let anything happen to the two of them either. She pulled the white cloak tighter around her and slipped the hood up to conceal her hair. Misaki had given her attire to disguise herself in the snow and avoid detection. Everything was pure white, including the solid white mask that they had given her, which she slipped into position to prepare.
"I will go out first and call for Hashirama, remember no fighting unless absolutely necessary." He commanded and the group nodded. "I will give the signal for all of you to come out if I need assistance." He said and they nodded once more. Hinata watched as he made his way to where the Senju were stalking a deer. Hinata could tell that they were nod fully unaware of their presence, they seemed to be testing the waters when it came to what the Uchiha would do.
She continued to scan the Senju seeing Hashirama a small smile crossed her lips. She was happy to see he was well, as was Itama who was standing by his side. Her brow furrowed as she scanned the area for the person she was truly searching for, only to find him off in the back with two fingers to the ground. A smirk crossed her lips as she felt his chakra pass completely over her. she had successfully hidden her chakra from him, which was what she was truly worried about when she came out here with them.
She could see the words leave his mouth and she couldn't help the fear that overcame her then. 'There's five, Hinata is not among them.' She jumped out of the tree just in time for the wood style to destroy the limb she was crouched on. She stood before the Uchiha, who then shoved her behind them and began burning all the roots that rushed them. She pushed her mask up slightly and used fire style to assist them. When the roots stopped rushing them, they all tried to make their way forward to assist Madara, but he yelled at them to stay back.
Hinata looked to see what was happening and she bit her lip the moment she saw Madara. He was wrapped in roots and blood was trickling over his chin. "Stay here. I will go ahead and check on him." She said and the three in front of her nodded softly. Hinata slipped her mask back down over her face, but not before she managed a comforting smile to the three. She was frantic, but she couldn't show them this. She walked out and they all turned their weapons towards her and she only held up her hands and shook her head.
She walked over to Madara and with a swift slice of a chakra blade the roots were gone. He landed deftly on his feet and held up a hand to her. "I'm not hurt, don't worry about me. Hashirama got a cheap punch in is all." He said with an amused chuckle and Hinata rolled her eyes. She had been scared over nothing. "Go back and protect them." He said and she looked from him to the Senju and nodded. She turned to make her way back to the others, but Tobirama lunged for her, impatient as ever.
A wicked smirk crossed her lips and she spun out of his reach and tapped him on the shoulder, leaving a flying raijin seal on the back of his right shoulder. Hashirama and Madara were both yelling at them to stop at this point but all their pleas were ignored. Madara looked over to Hashirama in a panic. "Tell your men to get back!" he yelled and Hashirama nodded. Hinata grinned as they both dodged one another's blows. Each of them were covered in Flying Raijin seals at this point and were constantly teleporting at and around one another. He landed on the ground a few feet away and she took this as a chance to slam her fist into the ground, causing it to crackle and erupt in flying debris.
"You thought you could hide from me." Was all he said and Hinata's eyes went wide as she was swiped up off her feet by two arms around her waist. Her hood fell back and her long hair fell free. Hinata couldn't withhold the tears as he buried his face in her stomach. She sobbed lightly as she ran her fingers through his hair. "I've missed you so much…" she sobbed and he set her down and hugged her tightly. She ripped the mask from her face and pressed her forehead against his. "Two years is far too long to have not seen you…" he said and she nodded.
"So why were you hiding from me?" he asked and she let a small laugh escape her. "You knew it was me from the start huh?" she asked and he nodded with a smirk, but she could see the glossiness of his eyes and the slight twinge of his lips. She knew he was hurting but he was hiding it well from everyone else. "I need you to listen to Madara ok?" she whispered as she brushed her fingers over his cheeks. "He is not here to hurt anyone. We just want peace." She said and he pursed his lips but nodded.
"Fine, whatever you ask of me." He said softly and she smiled at him and kissed him softly. "Good, then you can have all the kisses you want now." She laughed and he rolled his eyes. "Who said I even wanted that?" he grumbled as he shoved her away. She only laughed as she bumped him with her shoulder. She slipped her hand to entwine with his and he didn't fight her in the slightest. "You can try and hide it now, but older you said that he loved me and that he never wanted anyone else after he met me." She whispered and Tobirama made an audible choking noise as a pink tint coated his features.
"That old bastard." He grumbled and Hinata just laughed as she turned to look at Hashirama and Madara, who were discussing amicably. Madara's family had run out to see what the sudden explosion of noise had been and they were just watching Hinata at this point. Tobirama gave Izuna a dirty look and ripped his hand from hers, only for her to grab his wrist tightly. Izuna opened his mouth to make a smart comment over the fact that Hinata could control him, but Hinata appeared right in front of him in the blink of an eye.
"You might be taller than me and somewhat stronger, but don't ever forget I took you down." She hissed softly as she grabbed him by the wrist and drug him over to Tobirama, where she grabbed the opposite hand and forced them to shake hands. "Now… friends… or else." She ordered and they continued to glare at one another. She smiled and slammed her heel down on Izuna's foot which made him yelp. She turned to do the same to Tobirama, but he sent her a look that made her heart flutter. Whether in fear or excitement she didn't know, but that was one of the sharpest looks she had ever received from him and it meant repercussions if she did it to him.
She turned and heard Madara and Hashirama laughing, which meant good things. She turned to look at them in excitement, only to see that they were watching her as she bullied their little brothers. Honestly, she didn't know if she could call it that since she knew Tobirama could bully her easily. Hashirama rushed over to her and scooped her up in his arms, ripping her away from the younger brothers. "Thank you so much Hinata, I'm sorry I ever doubted you." He said and she glared at him, to which he gave her a sheepish look and set her down.
"Sorry…" he mumbled and she couldn't help but smile at him. He hadn't changed a bit. "So, what now?" she asked and Madara and Hashirama exchanged looks before scratching their cheeks. "We don't know actually." Hashirama said and Hinata rolled her eyes. "I'm starving, I propose we celebrate with food as a joining of the clans." She offered and Madara grinned, she knew full well he would be excited for that because he was always hungry.
"If we do that Hashirama isn't cooking." Tobirama said and Hashirama deadpanned and slumped to the side in defeat. Misaki stepped forward with a smile and held up her hand. "I think I can help you, Hashirama-san." She offered and Hinata smiled. "I will help Tobirama!" she volunteered and Madara rolled his eyes. "I can help you as well mother." He offered and Misaki nodded and waved for both Hashirama and Madara to come with her. Hinata looked at Izuna and he took off after Tajima to help the Senju with their deer hunting that they interrupted.
Hinata took after Tobirama, who stayed silent the entire walk to his home. The entire way there he was looking all around and hyper aware of his surroundings, as if he were worried about something. "Wait here." He said and tucked her around behind a building. She looked around with her Byakugan and was trying to figure out what could have him all riled up. She looked and saw a woman sitting on the front steps of a house. She watched as he walked up to the house and she assumed it was his.
He tried to step past the woman but she started yelling at him and shoved him. A darkness overcame Hinata then, only for Itama to run up to her and stop her from going after the woman who had hit Tobirama. "That's our mother… she… doesn't like Tobirama much…" he whispered and Hinata's heart ached. "Why not?" she asked and he frowned up at her. "Because he takes after grandpa and grandpa never liked mom and dad much. He said they were fools and their way of doing things was the wrong way. Which Tobirama agrees with… Hashirama does too but since he doesn't really look like grandpa, he doesn't get the abuse Tobirama does." He explained and her heart twinged at this.
"I'll go distract her and get her to leave him alone so you and Tobirama can do what you need to, to prepare the food." He said and she nodded. She watched as the youngest brother managed to easily get the feral woman away from Tobirama and she ran over to him and just held his hand. He said nothing as he led her into the house. "What was that about?" she asked and he rolled his eyes. "Apparently, she was angry I was hiding you from her. she came out here to see the mythical girl I'd been chasing since childhood and I hid you from her." he said and she scoffed audibly.
"I wish you could come home with me…" she whispered and he chuckled softly. "Tsunade already tested that theory and it works. I have things I have to do here. Thing is, I don't know if you and I will bypass the barrier forever. But for now… I want to live right here… with you." He said and she squealed as he kicked the door shut behind him and took off chasing her through his small home. She managed to get to the kitchen before he deftly spun her around and hefted her up onto the countertop.
She leaned down and he caught her lips in a kiss. His fingers slipped beneath the hem of her shirt and he began tickling her sides. She couldn't hold back her giggles as he tickled her. "I missed you." He said between kisses and she just smiled as he pulled her off the counter. "I missed you too. Now I'm hungry. Food is a priority, ok?" she laughed and he nodded.

Hashirama watched Madara as he stalked the deer around into a cave. This would be the third one they got and that should be enough for both clans to eat from, especially since Tajima and Izuna had come back with a wild boar in tow. Hashirama had been distracted by the small caves of edible mushrooms he had found and had been loading up on them for his mushroom soup that smelled like dirt according to Tobirama. Speaking of his brother, he was somewhat concerned with what his brother was actually doing.
Was his brother actually helping Hinata prep fish or were they doing… reuniting things. He repressed an annoyed look at this and decided he would go check up on them when they got back with their haul. If there was one thing Hashirama was good at it was annoying his brothers. "Hey idiot, don't go bothering them. I know you're thinking about it, it is written all over your face. They have a lot to catch up on so I think you should let them be for a while." Madara grumbled as he hefted the deer up over his shoulder.
"Come on, I suppose we should head to your home, since father has gone to get the rest of the Uchiha so we can all help get everything set up." Madara grumbled and Hashirama sent him a sheepish look. "I suppose you are right." He sighed, only to be caught off guard as Madara forced him to carry the deer. Hashirama complained the entire way back to the compound upon being forced to carry the large deer. Madara made fun of him for complaining as well.
When they got there the two of them set to work cleaning and skinning the deer, while Tajima and Izuna worked on cleaning the boar. They looked over and saw Hinata and Tobirama getting the firepit ready, which made Hashirama sigh in relief. He was worried they were going to get right into their reuniting rather than helping out. He watched as they spoke softly amongst themselves, not at all concerned with the gathering of people coming through to help.
He knew his brother had missed her dearly, the way he would always go back to the falls and wait for her eery day. He didn't want to know what would have happened if she had never been pulled to their time. He was grateful for Madara and Izuna's idiocy for that alone. He watched as Tobirama would even crack small smiles when she would say things. He was happy his younger brother found the love he so rightly deserved. Especially with the way his family had treated him for so long.
He was also thrilled that Hinata had been there for him every time he needed her. Hinata lit the fire and began placing the deer they had already prepared on the fire. Tobirama would help her heft the whole deer onto the fire and set it up to rotate. She looked directly at him with amusement in her eyes and he knew he had been caught. "Hashirama-kun, if you keep staring I will start to think you liked me too." She called and he began sputtering nonsense at her to which her and his brother laughed lightly.
"You wish!" he snapped and they only laughed more, this time Madara joined in on the laughter. "Are you sure Hashirama? You sure were staring hard when she was bent over." He called out and Hashirama glared at him. "No! Not that she isn't pretty or anything but I uh… Like someone else." He muttered the last part softly and instantly Madara was by his side with an arm thrown over his shoulder pestering him to figure out who it was.
By the time all the food was done the entirety of both families had found out Hashirama had a crush and no one knew who it was, just as Tobirama's secret girlfriend had come to light as well. He looked over to see that Hinata and Tobirama were sitting in front of the Uchiha matriarch and Tajima, who they were chatting happily with, however, the moment Hinata seemed to catch sight of his parents staring at her, her aura darkened and she gave them a dirty look.
Hashirama had to look away to avoid laughing at his parents' misfortune at pissing Hinata off without even having met her. he knew Hinata knew all about the abuse he had been so unaware of for so long and he felt horrible that his brother had endured such a trauma from the ones who were supposed to take care of him. No one deserved that, and the fact Hashirama had never known made him feel worse about it. he looked to his younger brother who offered him the smallest hint of a smile and he knew things were going to be ok.
He knew this because he hadn't seen his brother smile in a very long time. Not since he met Hinata. He hadn't smiled in front of anyone unless it was Hinata, to be honest.

Benzaiten smiled as she watched everything that was happening from the surface of the water. As they all sat at the tables of Uchiha and Senju tensions eased rapidly. Tobirama and Hinata sat side by side as they chatted amicably with the Uchiha matriarch, more so Hinata than Tobirama of course. He sat silently beside her, unhappy with the fact his parents sat before them and just stared at her as if they hadn't truly thought she existed.
She was pleased with the outcome of her efforts. It really had turned out for the best with the decision to open the barrier the way she had. She expected nothing but great things from the two of them being able to traverse the timelines. She watched as Hinata noticed the Senju woman and her husband staring at her curiously, and Hinata just gave them a pointed look. The two of them immediately looked away from her and Tobirama cracked a smirk.
This was going to turn out beautifully it seemed. She had never liked the way his family had treated him, she found it cruel because he believed differently than they did so they beat him for it. cruel humans who were weak and put in their place with a single look. This amused her greatly. Normally she was a benevolent goddess, but for certain humans deserved her wrath, and those two were some of those. She wasn't going to hurt them physically though, knowing that their sons were destined for greatness and happiness without them being any part of why they thrived is painful enough for those two.
She looked around and saw that Hinata was chatting amicably with both Hashirama and Madara now, which also thrilled her. This was a joyous occasion and she was thrilled that it had come to be so easily. She ruffled her hand through the water and watched as the timeline progressed. She liked the look of things here, the clans would gather and converge on the Senju and Uchiha encampment and little by little they would create the village.
She watched as Hashirama found love with Mito and Madara met his own lover as well, which made her smirk. Oh… that one was unexpected. What a thrill this was, Izuna would find his own lover as well, a sweet girl from the Senju. She swirled her fingers through the water and smiled as things progressed in a manner that was favorable. Seemed the only thing she could do now was ensure that Hinata and Tobirama traversed the barrier once more. She needed them to rid her of a certain annoyance.
"Toneri must be dealt with."
