Chapter 28: Call to Arms

To the allies of the Atlesians,
My name is Winter Schnee. I am the commander of the Atlesian forces present on Falmart, and the current leader of everyone from the world of Remnant. You may know us as the 'Men in White'; as invaders to your lands, or as liberators of the enslaved, or as enemies of the Empire.
Perhaps they are all true. But now, let us cast aside our differences.
We have discovered the location of a plot to consume this world. This location is marked on the map at the end of this message.
Recently, we have located a creature of Grimm upon this world. The Grimm originates from my world, Remnant, and is a force of darkness and pure destruction. Now, they have managed to find their way here. These monsters now set foot on Falmart.
And they are building an army.
Make no mistake. The Grimm are not like us. We Atlesians have attempted to minimize contact with those already here in this world. We sought not to invade, but merely to explore a new world, full of unknown sciences and technology. We did not seek out war. The Empire brought war to us, and we were forced to defend ourselves.
The Grimm will not hold back. Their one purpose is to destroy, and they will stop at nothing to end all of humanity. Their forms and abilities vary, but every type of Grimm creature has one thing in common - a relentless killing instinct. There will be no compromise. There will be no peace, no ceasefire, no diplomacy of any kind against the Grimm.
Let there be no doubt in your mind that the combined onslaught of these monsters, working twenty-four hours a day, will soon be unleashed upon your cities.
I am sending this message to urge you to use whatever influence you have to convince your leadership of the terrible consequences which will be suffered by all humanity if you do not immediately organize and deploy an offensive force to march against the Grimm. I implore you to confirm these facts to your leaders and to do your utmost to urge them to gather an offensive force that can march to the attached location to put a stop to the birth of the Grimm and prevent the total annihilation of humanity.
Rest assured that your soldiers will not march alone. The forces of Remnant, our soldiers and Hunters, who have prevailed against armies and dragons, will march with you. Together we will do battle for the sake of this world, and all of humanity.
Perhaps you may believe that this does not concern you. Perhaps you believe yourselves untouchable within your mountain fortress, or behind your walls of stone. I tell you now: you are not safe. The Grimm will adapt to any situation and destroy any obstacle. Only a coordinated attack on their source can end this threat.
If none of that had convinced you, then hear this: all who come to our aid in this dire hour will receive fair compensation. Gold, power, knowledge. We are capable of many things. All who stand with us will be known through history. And if you wish not to help, pray that the bravery of those more courageous than you can withstand this threat.
Heed this call to arms.
The future of this world depends on it.

When Winter was done with her writing, the call to arms was sent to every scroll on Falmart. With a surge of power from the new CCT, every member of the Atlesian army, as well as the Huntsmen present in that world, received the call to arms. And in one way or another, the message very quickly found its way to many of the native inhabitants of Falmart.
The greatest mobilization of military forces that Falmart had ever seen had begun.
