Putting this up. For those unaware, this originally started as an omake for 'An Arc for Every Season'. However, many people expressed interest on it being its own fic despite me slating it to have only two chapters.
I decided to put this up as a separate fic (and deleted it from the omake archive) since reading old omakes has given me some ideas. I've been writing commissions lately and something short and lighthearted could be just what I need to get my groove back, so to speak. Cause right now I have some ideas for shorter, non-interconnected segments.
Besides Pyrrha being hassled by Blake and Ruby, I'm imagining segments like Drunk Winter and Professional Qrow visiting Beacon; Weiss and Adam sneaking around to have a date; Ruby and Professor Cinder gushing over romance; and Yang trying to be the best Huntress she can be with Jaune.
Keeping the story on as a Seasons omake will make all updates of this really bog the archive down, so better to separate it. Updates will also be relatively short, maybe 2-3k works like 'Remnant Gets a Chainsaw(man)'. Again, it'll just help me relax.
The Reverse RWBY Omakes should've been removed from other places, so the original chapters and any new ones will be posted here instead.
Today was gonna be the best day ever!
That was the thought that ran through Yang's head as she looked up at the castle in the distance. Beacon Academy, the best Huntsman school on Remnant and the place she was gonna spend the next four years of her life with her big sis. Yang was practically bouncing in place, hands gripping the airship's rails. A few people passing by gave her some looks when they saw how young she was, but she paid it no mind. She earned her place here.
It was a simple enough idea. Headmistress Salem had a test every year where people as young as fifteen could get into Beacon faster, skipping the last two years of combat school. A lot of people took the test, but almost nobody passed. The last one who did was mama Summer like twenty years aago. Yang studied and worked hard to pass it too and everyone was super proud of her when she did.
Now she was here with her big sis ready to start her journey as a full-fledged Huntress! Oh, she was so excited! And it was nice to get out of the house for a bit. At least she wouldn't have to deal with dad being super strict about 'what it means to be a Huntress' or her mom's puns. So. Many. Puns. If she had to hear another 'early bird' joke, while her mom was in bird form just to 'make it funnier', she was gonna lose it.
If only her big sis could shape up too...
Yang looked over to said sibling. Ruby Rose, the best fighter on Signal who graduated with the highest honors. She was a shoe-in to be one of the best Huntresses on Remnant...if she could stop thinking about boys and girls and having the 'perfect romance'.
"We should be careful, Yang. Grimm are known to stalk beautful and elegant Huntresses." The 'like me' was left unsaid though Yang heard it all the same. The blonde rolled her eyes and resisted the urge to cross her arms. Her big sis was one of the strongest people she knew but of course she was still obsessed with relationships and finding the perfect partner. Or partners. Gross. Why couldn't she just wanna kick butt like Yang did?
Whatever, this was still gonna be awesome! Especially with their extra special powers...
Yang practically bounced with excitement as they airship drew closer. She'd been forbidden from using her Maiden powers during the test, but mom, dad and mama Summer told her that the headmistress knew about magic and they could finally cut loose when they got to Beacon. She couldn't wait to kick Grimm butt and make a (literally) explosive entrance! Her and Ruby.
"Aren't you excited, sis?" Yang asked eagerly.
"Of course I am, but the life of a Huntress isn't all fun and games, you know?"
"Ugh, you sound like dad." Yang stuck her tongue out. She loved dad, but would it kill him to get that stick out of his butt? He was just like Uncle Qrow. Always so serious and all about obeying the rules.
"Not all of his lessons are just boring lectures, Yang."
"Yeah, yeah..." The blonde rolled her eyes and looked around the airship's deck. All of them were future Huntsmen and at least two were gonna be part of her team for the next four years. She hoped she got someone as stoked to kick Grimm butt as she was.
Her eyes were drawn to a tall redhead off by herself. She looked nervous, which made her stick out among the sea of calm and excited faces, and Yang found herself walking towards the taller girl before she realized it. She knew what it was like. Even if she was super pumped to be here, Beacon was a place where people eventually risked their lives. It was hard not to feel nervous sometimes.
"Heya!" Yang greeted happily. The tall girl jumped up in surprise and Yang blinked at the sudden frightful look she had, "I'm Yang! What's your name?" she continued, doggedly trying to ignore the way the girl looked so skittish.
"I'm sorry!" she said back.
"Uh...for what?" Yang tilted her head to the side.
"N-Nothing, nevermind!" Woah, this girl was nervous. Like even more than Yang thought she was. She was shaking like a leaf and looking around like Zwei whenever they had to take him to the vet.
A sigh came from behind and big sis walked up next to her, "Yang, please don't bully our future classmates."
"I wasn't bullying her!" Yang pouted.
Ruby smiled pleasantly at the other girl and held out her hand, "Good afternoon. I'm Ruby, this one's older sister." She ruffled Yang's hair with her free hand. She was so lucky family was allowed to do that.
The nervous girl looked at the offered hand for a few seconds before reluctantly accepting the gesture, "M-My name is Pyrrha...Pyrrha Nikos." Her voice was so soft Yang almost didn't hear her past the din of the airship's engines.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Pyrrha." Ruby laughed softly. Yang frowned and looked away. Ruby was always the popular one back at Signal. People were always drawn to her cause she looked so elegant and graceful and bla bla bla. A lot of the students were surprised someone so strong could look...what was the word for it? Demure? Yeah, that.
"Y-Yes, of course. You too, Yang." Pyrrha offered her a reluctant smile.
"Excited for Beacon?" Yang asked, ignoring the weird first impression.
"Um...of course." Pyrrha nodded, "Wh-Why wouldn't I be? We're all here to train to be Huntsmen and risk our lives fighting Grimm and die young." Yang blinked. Wow, she didn't sound very excited. Or maybe she was one of those doom and gloom types, "Why wouldn't I be excited? It's not like my parents forced me to come here even though I was absolutely happy just being a normal girl!"
"Uh..." Ruby took a step back.
"And it's not like I begged them not to make me come here and they completely ignored me cause of my stupid Semblance!" she continued in a rush. The two sisters just looked at one another and didn't say a word. Pyrrha seemed to realize she'd said too much and coughed, "Um, I mean...I am sort of nervous, but that's normal, right?" She forced out a laugh even Yang could tell was fake.
Before either she or Ruby could ask if she needed any help, Pyrrha mumbled something about needing a drink and stiffly walked by them, "...That was weird," Yang said once Pyrrha rounded the corner.
"Everyone has their own circumstances, I guess." Ruby sighed, "Come on, we're close to Beacon already."
Yang eagerly stepped off the airship as soon as it landed and breathed deeply. Here they were: Beacon! Even with that Pyrrha girl being weird, she still felt as pumped as ever to be here, "Watch out, Beacon, Yang Xiao Long is here to kick some butt!" She slammed her right fist against her left palm and grinned.
"Calm down, sis. We're not gonna have Initiation until tomorrow."
"I know, but I'm still super excited!" Yang bounced on the balls of her feet, "My friends back at Signal are so jealous that I got to come early. I can't wait to tell them what Initiation's like." Mom, dad, and Mama Summer were pretty tight lipped about it whenever she asked. It was supposed to be a surprise, at least that's what Mama Summer said. Whatever, she'd still ace it!
The two sisters walked to the castle only for Yang to stop when she saw another pair of girls having an argument in the middle of the path, "As daughter of the CEO of the White Fang Corporation, I would not like to associate myself with a Dust-traffucking mafia member like yourself," one girl said. She was short - shorter than Yang, even - with short dark hair amber eyes. Her outfit was obviously well made, which made her stick out somewhat.
Oh, and she had cat ears on her head. A Faunus. They were pretty rare on Patch. Most of them preferred to stay in Menagerie. From what she heard it was this big island paradise anyone would kill to stay in.
"Excuse me, Faunus?" the other girl replied, face morphed in a scowl. She was a bit taller than the dark haired Faunus with long white hair that went down to the small of her back. She was pretty, which only made the scar on her left eye stick out all the more. Her white dress was pretty fancy too, but unlike the dark haired girl she looked out of place in it. It was like when mom forced her to wear that dress for prom.
"Any more provocation may lead to court and with a one hundred percent likelihood of being sentenced to prison." And then the dark haired girl's lips curled up in a smug smile, "I accept tuna as bail."
"You little shi-"
"Woah, woah, let's not get into a fight here." Yang stepped in-between the two. Ruby didn't like it much, but Yang always found herself in the middle of these kinds of situations. It made sense, Yang argued. Huntsmen weren't just supposed to kill Grimm, they were also supposed to keep the peace. That was also why she ended up socking bullies in the face.
"And who are you supposed to be?" the dark haired girl asked.
"Name's Yang. What are your names?" Yang asked back with a beaming smile. This was good. They were talking, which meant they weren't fighting.
"Blake Belladonna, heiress to the White Fang Corporation," Blake said, face locked back into that neutral expression.
"...Weiss Schnee," Weiss looked down at the ground and kicked it with her pristine white boots.
"Not going to mention your family?" Blake raised a brow.
"No! Cause that doesn't matter!" Weiss shot back hotly, face turning red. Uh-oh, "Not all of us parade around our family like they're medals, Belladonna."
"Or is it because you're ashamed that you come from a family of criminals and smugglers?"
"Shut the fuck up!" Yang was about to say something to (hopefully) defuse the situation again when she saw it. The edges of Weiss' eyes burned white light blue fire and the ground around her feet froze solid. A Maiden. Weiss was a Maiden.
Yang was still reeling from that revelation when the hair at the back of her neck stood on end, "Is that supposed to scare me?" Yang circled around and almost fell on her butt when Blake crossed her arms and her eyes also lit up with purple flames. Two Maidens? Her family always told her how rare they were - it was a miracle that she and Ruby both the powers, and now here two more Maidens were.
A few of the passing students stopped to stare. Not good, "Both of you calm down. Now." Ruby cut in. Her eyes weren't aflame, though the sternness in her tone was enough to make the two stop glaring at one another. The two kept their gazes leveled for a few more seconds before the telltale signs of Maiden power finally passed.
"You two are Maidens too?" Yang asked. She couldn't help but be excited. They always told her that there were only ever four Maidens in Remnant, so that meant all four of them were training to be Huntresses! That was...awesome! "Me and Ruby are too! Maidens, I mean!"
"Maiden? What are you talking about?" Weiss' eyes narrowed.
"She's talking about our extra gifts, you dolt." Blake rolled her eyes while Weiss scowled, "I'll admit it's odd to see others like me given the supposed rarity, but this doesn't change anything." She looked to Weiss again, "I'd prefer if a criminal like you didn't interact with me, if at all possible."
"Tch, like I wanted to talk to you, you bitch!"
And then the two huffed and stalked off in separate directions, "...That could've gone better." Yang sagged. There went here plans to make an All-Maiden team to take the school by storm. Granted her original plan was to not be paired off with her sister - she didn't want to be the baby sis forever, after all - but she'd change her mind if they could be a whole team of kickass magical girls!
Ah, whatever! She was still going to ace this! Look out, Beacon, Yang Xiao Long was here!
Blake sighed as she made her way to the locker rooms. So far her first day at Beacon wasn't going well. Not only was she forced to sleep in the auditorium with the rest of the would-be hopefuls, but she had the displeasure of meeting with that criminal Schnee. How did someone like her even get into Beacon? One would've thought her criminal record would bar her from such a presitigious academy.
And of course the Schnee and those other two were...what was it she called them? Maidens? What an odd name. The woman she'd received these powers from had simply referred to it as a gift; a gift her family was more than eager to gain for themselves. They'd offered a fair trade. In exchange for receiving her powers when she passed, Belladonnas would take care of her family's expenses for the next fifty years. They considered it a small price to pay for such a power.
It had more than paid for itself. While many would've been content to use these powers for the sake of fighting, short-sighted as they were, Blake was always a businesswoman at heart. Control of the elements meant that she could increase crop yield or guarantee the safety of the workers in the mines along with increasing productivity. Happy and safe workers were productive workers, after all, and that kind of loyalty was worth the cost.
It was also her idea to attend Beacon Academy. While she had no interest in the Huntress lifestyle herself, Grimm were the most common threat outside the walls and it wouldn't do for her employees to fear for their lives. If she could understand the threat better then she could fight better against it. That and the PR boost of seeing the White Fang Corporation's heiress personally fighting the Grimm would be substantial.
She only wished that Adam was here. Her personal bodyguard had offered to attend Beacon with her, but she knew that he was needed elsewhere. Besides, the point of her coming here was learning to fight these monsters. She couldn't hide behind him forever.
Already she missed getting up in the morning and dealing with business troubles, but she shook that thought away. Think of the long term, she thought to herself. So long as the Schnee kept far away from her then her time here could be pleasant.
She rounded the corner to the row of lockers and stopped when she saw a familiar face. A tall blonde in stunning white and gold armor. She'd recognize him anywhere. The Faunus' lips curled up in a smile and she confidently walked towards him.
"Hello, Jaune."
The champion turned to look at her and smiled in turn, "Hey, Blake." He closed his locker and fiddled with his sheath. She and Jaune were friends...of a sort. The WF Corp was one of the first people that understood that Jaune Arc was going to go places and they'd offered to sponsor him. So far it had been a very lucrative relationship. Having the Invincible Sentinel using WF branded equipment told wonders of its quality.
"During Initiation, would you perhaps be interested in partnering up together? With our mutual skills it would come to a very beneficial partnership." Blake smiled; something she rarely did outside of when she was required to for public appearances.
"Ahaha..." Jaune looked back at his locker, "I don't think we're allowed to choose our partners? I heard it's chance based."
"Perhaps, but it never hurts to be prepared." Blake hummed, "I assume this means you're open to the idea if it isn't random chance?"
"I...sure, yep." He nodded.
"Perfect." Blake nodded and made her way to her own locker. Perhaps her time at Beacon would be more pleasant than she thought. She rarely had the chance to meet Jaune due to their busy schedules, but he was a skilled and confident young man. She could definitely see herself being his partner for the next four years. And who knows, perhaps she could offer him more...permanent employment in the future.
Initiation, such as it was, ended up being a rather mundane affair. Professor Tyrian Callows had them dropped off at different parts of the Emerald Forest and they were to go to different designated spots, which would be marked on their scrolls. As soon as two people reached a spot the location would be marked as unavailable and they had to find another. Grimm would be fighting them the entire way and the people they met on the locations would be their partners.
Blake huffed. She would'v emuch preferred to choose her partner, though she at least saw the logic behind it. You couldn't always choose who you had to work with, something she was all too familiar with. Having to smile and shake that nepostistic worm Ironwood's hand still made her shiver.
Any and all of thoughts of it being justified stopped when she reached the closest spot and saw none other than Weiss Schnee waiting there. The white haired criminal's eyes widened and she looked around, desperately trying to find someone else who could race past Blake and take her place. Blake herself was already moving to turn around and go to another spot when both their scrolls beeped.
"Spot J has been occupied. Weiss Schnee and Blake Belladonna are now partners." An automated voice chirped from their scrolls.
...
God damn it.
Pyrrha Nikos was sincerely regretting her choices in life.
"I'M SORRY!" She cried, running away from the pack of charging beowolves that were hungry to tear into her. Go to Beacon, mom said. You need to do our legacy proud, dad said. How about no, Pyrrha said nacl. Not that they listened to her, of course. They'd tried to train her, but she just didn't have the aptitude for all this Huntress stuff. She was kind of hoping to get a civilian job. At worst she could see herself working in weaponsmithing.
And then she got her Semblance.
It was such a silly thing. She was worried about fixing her bike and suddenly she found the chain floating through the air. And of course her dad just happened to be there and he was so ecstatic that his little girl found her own Semblance. It was a powerful one, too. Polarity, they called it; the ability to affect the magnetism in metal. If she was a tournament fighter she would've been unbeatable.
But she wasn't a fighter. She was Pyrrha Nikos, normal girl. Not that her parents seemed to notice that. They'd just been so excited because of how powerful her Semblance was and enrolled her into Beacon. How they did that when she had no training she had absolutely no idea, but the end result was her being shipped off to a whole different kingdom with her parents wishing her luck and tell her to do them proud.
They were so excited about her Semblance that they missed just one little detail...
Grimm didn't have any metal on that.
"Get away from me!" Pyrrha shrieked. Had she been more experienced she would've turned around and started shooting with her weapon. But she wasn't experienced. She was a girl who never won a single spar against her dad being chased down by the embodiment of evil.
She knew that if her Aura dipped below a quarter than Professor Callows or Professor Fall would pull her out, but she also didn't like that idea cause that required letting said embodiments of evil chomp on her. So instead she ran and ran and ran, desperately hoping that maybe she'd find her way back to the edge of the Emerald Forest then hail a bullhead to get her out of here.
That was the plan, of course, before she ran into a dead end.
Oh no...oh no, no, no. Pyrrha gulped and turned, hands shaking as she gripped her weapons. Beowolves were the most common Grimm, but that didn't mean they were weak. She'd heard stories of a pack taking out entire villages without a militia or Huntsman there to stop them. She should've begged harder, maybe even got down on her knees in front of the headmistress.
The beowolf at the front of the pack growled and charged towards her. Pyrrha shrieked and desperately raised her shield to block its attack...and nothing came. She stood there just waiting for the end to come, and when she realized it was taking its sweet time she slowly lowered her only means of defense to look ahead once more.
Someone had decapitated the beowolf before it could strike. With wide eyes, Pyrrha watched as the armored blonde figure took down the remaining pack as easily as he breathed. Her legs shook as the last of the monsters finally fell and it took everything she had not to collapse on a crying, thankful heap. She'd survived to live another day.
"That's the last of them." The blonde man sheathed his sword and walked towards her, an easy smile on his face, "Sorry for cutting in. I'm sure you had that handled." Coming from anyone else she was sure they would've been mocking her, but she saw nothing but sincerity in his eyes, "I just figured it'd be best if people started working together early. I hope I didn't offend you."
"N-No, you didn't!" Oh Gods, she wanted to cry, "Th-Thank you so much!" Pyrrha sheathed her weapons and offered him a shaky hand. Always put your best foot forward, her parents always said, "M-My name's Pyrrha! What's your name?"
"You...don't know who I am?"
"Sh-Should I? Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to-"
"Oh, no, uh...I was just being dumb." He shook his head way too quickly and shook her hand firmly, "The name's Jaune Arc." Pyrrha smiled back at him. He was nice, "So should we go our separate ways or do you wanna keep teaming up? I wouldn't wanna impose if you had someone else in mind for a partne-"
"No!" Pyrrha screamed, "I-I mean, I don't have anyone in mind, so if you don't have any objects, then..." she trailed off. She really didn't want to leave the super nice, super strong guy who just saved her butt, but even now she didn't want to feel like she was pushing her luck.
"G-Great." His cheeks were a faint red as he laughed.
Pyrrha stuck to the guy like glue as they made their way to the objective. He did all the fighting, and he was either too nice to too oblivious to say anything about how she didn't help him at all. Pyrrha felt bad, but what else could she do? She wasn't a trained fighter and if she tried to shoot she was likely to hit him in the back. No, it was better that she stayed back and didn't make things worse.
Almost as if the universe decided it hated her in particular, the ground shook and when Pyrrha turned to the source she almost fained when she saw a giant snake and another pack of beowolves charging for them. Where did those even come from?! Weren't the teachers supposed to keep the Grimm population down?!
Jaune, of course, charged ahead without any fear. Pyrrha slowly stepped back and watched as he casually destroyed the Grimm. He was barely even paying attention! She didn't have much time to be impressed before her back hit something hard. Eyes widening, Pyrrha turned and almost fainted once again when a bear Grimm stood on its hind legs and glared down at her.
Oh...Oh dear.
Across the field, Jaune stomped on another beowolf and coughed, "S-So, Pyrrha..." He dodged the king taijitu's bite and cut its head off, "I, uh, just wanna say that it's really nice that you're treating me like a normal person. Not like...like some bigshot tournament winner." Another beowolf stabbed clean through, "D-Do you, um, like blondes?" He winced, "Sorry, weird question to ask-"
"I'M SORRY!" Jaune turned back to see Pyrrha flat on her butt and holding up a shield to block the Ursa's paws. It wasn't even attacking, more pushing against her, but she cried and screamed all the same.
Jaune shook his head. He could worry about asking her out later. Right now they had to get through Inititiation.
Ruby sighed as she idly walked to the closest spot marked on her scroll. This was the oh-so-secret Inititation that her parents always warned her and Yang about? This wasn't any different than some of the tests they had back at Signal.
Then again maybe she was biased, being a Maiden and all.
Ruby sighed once more and swung Crescent Rose, a slice of razor wind shooting from the scythe blade. The beowolf charging straight for her was cut in half before it could even come close. This was supposed to be romantic! She was supposed to meet her future partner and they'd fight side by side, realizing that this meeting was when their destinies begun!
Instead she was all alone and she was likely to find her partner all safe and sound at the rendezvous point. That wasn't romantic! Oh, she still remembered the stories mom told her. She met mom Raven and dad at Initiation too. They'd fought side by side against a Goliath that had somehow appeared in the forest and she realized then and there that the three of them were meant to be together. Oh, it was so sweet! It was just like her Mistralian comics!
And not at all like how it was now with her being forced to trudge through alone.
It didn't take her long to reach her designated spot, and just her luck she was the first one there. Ruby pouted, a very unladylike gesture that she wouldn't normally do, and waited for her future partner. Okay, so maybe she couldn't fight side-by-side, but that wasn't the only way a romance could start. She had four years to find the perfect romantic partner. Or partners. She wasn't picky. Mom always told her to keep an open mind, though Ruby wasn't one to date around or 'see where it goes'. She was sure she'd find her fated partner/s and then she'd go all in!
Her musings on her future romance was cut oiff when then loud, booming steps came from the right. Unsheathing Crescent Rose, she was about to bisect the Grimm that dared to interrupt her when she heard it.
"Look out!"
It was as if everything happened in slow motion. A boy - no, a man - clad in white and gold armor jumped through the air towards the deathstalker approaching her. Perhaps it was just her imagination, but he was practically shining as he flew. He landed on its back and cut off its stinger with one slash of his sword. Ruby swooned. Oh, her knight in shining armor had come to save her! Granted she could've taken it by herself with one hand tied behind her back, but details, details!
And he wasn't alone.
"I'm sorrryyyy!" The redheaded girl from the airship - Pyrrha - cried before started firing her rifle. At first glance one might've mistaken it as desparate and inaccurate shooting if not for the last bullet in the chamber cutting clean through the deathstalker's biggest eye. The overgrown scorpion screamed and flailed, charging after Pyrrha in a rage while Jaune tried to hold onto its back.
It was...so amazing.
"Get away from meeeee!" Pyrrha cried bravely, courageously running away to lure it away from the still-awestruck Ruby. Again it might've just been her imagination, but she could've sworn the other redhead was shining like a star as she barely kept ahead of the monster. The reaper's heart beat rapidly and she smiled. This was it. She'd found them. Her friends, her allies, her destined ones...
Her partners.
Ruby charged in without hesitation. eyes alight with Maiden power. She was late, but she could still fight alongside her future soulmates! Oh, life at Beacon was going to be so grand!
Jaune looked around the office of headmistress Salem. He'd been called over here after Initiation was finished and before the teams were officially announced. It was weird. He didn't think he did anything wrong...did he? Was it against the rules to team up with Pyrrha before they got to the location? He hoped not. He really wanted to be her partner, even if that Ruby girl was already there when they got to the spot.
"Jaune, please take a seat." Headmistress Salem gestured to the comfortable leather chair on the other side of her desk. Jaune had to admit he felt sort of intimidated. As kind as she looked, Headmistress Salem was a figure of some renown. After all, it wasn't every day that someone had a Semblance that granted them immortality. The only Semblance of its kind in the history of Remnant, from what he heard. It led to no small amount of jealousy and rumors, something he had more than a little experience in.
She was also a beautiful woman who had no small amount of suitors. Dad had told him once that, before he fell for mom, he'd tried to court her back when he was a young man along with dozens of others. Her refusal to take a lover had led to a lot of rumors.
"Thank you." Jaune sat up straight as if he was having an interview, "Um...why did you call me here, headmistress? A-Am I in trouble?"
"Goodness, no." She laughed and poured two cups of tea, offering one to him which he reluctantly took. He was always more of a coffee guy, "I called you here because...well, it's a long story." She took a dainty sip, "As headmistress of Beacon I always keep an eye out for...promising future Huntsmen."
"O-Oh?"
"And I believe that you more than qualify." Jaune's eyes widened. That was high praise coming from her, "Not just with your skillset, but also your character. Despite your position you are a humble young man."
"A-Ah, well..." Jaune rubbed the back of his head, "I mean it's really because of my dad's training and my family believing in me that I got so far. I wouldn't have won that first tournament without them."
"That's exactly what I mean." She smiled and set her cup down, "Jaune...I'm afraid I must ask you a favor." Jaune blinked. That wasn't what he was expecting, "I want to emphasize that this is a favor. If you wish to refuse then please don't hesitate to do so. You've more than earned your place at Beacon and I don't want you to think that it is in any way in jeapordy because of my selfish request."
"N-No! I mean, I definitely want to hear you out." Truth be told he wasn't really that invested in being a Huntsman, but he did like helping people and this seemed like one of the best ways to go about it. Destroying Grimm, saving villages, inspiring people...he cared more about that than the actual position of being a Huntsman.
"Thank you." She closed her eyes and nodded, "But before I tell you my request, I believe that I should give you some background...my true background." Her expression turned somber for a moment and she fingered a necklace around her neck, "I never believed in keeping secrets from those who I consider allies. While I've lied many times throughout my long life, that is the one line I refuse to cross. Any who place their trust in me must be able to do so from a position of understanding."
"I...I understand."
"Good. Now, let me tell you a fairy tale..."
So that's the first chapter. I'll post everything else I did later along with the new updates. I'm leaning towards Ruby talking with Cinder during a tea party about romance and their desires to have the perfect relationship.
Question:
1. So which Reversed characters and situations are you guys interested in seeing? Since this is now no longer an omake segment, I can show off more of the cast and world rather than being confined to the main four plus Jaune.
