The battle with Gaia was over and Annabeth Chase was dog tired. Whomever had invented the term 'jetlag' had not experienced being god smacked through several time zones in a matter of minutes. Clean-up was going on around her and she noticed how ragged the remaining members of the Seven looked. Percy waved at her and headed towards the dining pavilion. The caretakers had a buffet set up for anyone to come and grab some food between tasks to keep everyone on their feet. Annabeth smiled and decided a snack would hit the spot. She helped Piper set back up a support beam to the Athena cabin.
"Hey, Piper, I'm going to go grab some food. Seaweed Brain had the right idea for once."
Piper giggled at the joke. "Careful. The gods might determine it is a sign of the times. I'll get the others and we'll come join you. I don't think any of us have eaten since we arrived in Athens."
Annabeth nodded and headed over to the dining area. She found Percy sitting against a column, sound asleep. He looked peaceful for once. Since Tartarus, both of them had been sleeping badly. She smiled at her boyfriend as he napped.
"Well, well. Look at what we have here. An innocent little fishy, napping in his pong. And I am the owl, that swoops down to claim the fishy as her own."
She got down and laid her head on his chest. She turned her gray eyes to look at his sleeping face as she said
"Hoot hoot!"
She started to close her own eyes when she heard laughter from her left. She looked over, not leaving her place on her boyfriend to see the Stoll brother's dying of laughter. Piper was trying to suppress her own laughs. Jason looked mortified on what he had walked in on. Poor Hazel, Frank was trying to calm her down but she looked so red in the face she might combust. Below her, she heard Percy stir. Glancing over, she found his sea green eyes opening.
"Percy, help me! They are all staring at me and laughing." She said in embarrassment.
"I don't know if I can do that, Wise Girl. After all, I'm an 'innocent little fishy.'"
She paled. "You heard that?"
He leaned into her ear. "Hoot hoot!"
A/N: I hope you enjoyed this little fluff Percabeth piece. This is a thing I had in my mind for awhile now, feels good to get it written out. Hope you all are as excited as I am for the Percy Jackson TV series. Really hoping it is as good as the trailers suggest. Until next time.
