"Enamorus!" Ash shouted bursting into the shrine along Astrid, Empoleon and Absol to find the Goddess eating popcorn while watching a floating TV.
"So, came back crawling, eh?" She asked. "I was watching a marathon of your rejections, Lillie's by far my favorite, it was so awkward."
"I had a soulmate shock with two other girls!" Ash shouted.
"Yeah, that's another one of the things you didn't let me explain and I'm honestly getting a bit tired." Enamorus said.
"I'll listen to everything now, I swear!" Ash said.
"Ugh, fine." Enamorus said to then snap her fingers and both the TV and the popcorn disappeared in a puff of smoke. "Now, what were you saying?"
"I had a soulmate shock with a Delinquent and a Ranger." Ash explained. "What was that? I thought Helena was supposed to be my soulmate."
"Eh, no, the Hex Maniac was only one of your soulmates, like the Delinquent and the Ranger."
"One of?" Both Ash and Astrid asked.
"Ash, remember how many rejections you've had?" Enamorus asked.
"A hundred, of course." Ash replied.
"And remember what did I tell you I'd do to your love aura?"
"You said... that you'd invert it." He answered.
"Correct, so, a hundred rejections, a hundred soulmates."
"A HUNDRED?!" They shouted.
"Yup! You'll meet a Hundred girls who will be madly in love with you, the dream of every man, aren't I great?" Enamorus asked.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Astrid shouted. "Why would he need 100 girlfriends?! Why would he even need 10?!"
"Well, harems are pretty common among the Ashs of the multiverse." Enamorus replied.
"Ash can't handle a harem of a 100 girls! He can barely handle me and I'm not even his girlfriend!" Astrid continued. "Ugh, ok, ok, Ash, you just have to pick the girl you like the most, right? It'll be like a choosing a starter Pokemon."
"Im afraid it's not that simple." Enamorus said. "Your little balancing came with a cost. In order for the love aura modification to fully work I had to tie those girls' hearts to yours, yes, of course you can only pick the ones you like the most, you can even only pick one, heck, you can even not pick any of them, but if that were to happen, if those girls get rejected, if they don't get to live a life with you, their soulmate, the string that ties your heart with theirs would break and the rejected girls will then die of a heartbreak."
"WHAT?!" Ash and Astrid shouted.
"W-What?! You mean dying like in stop living?" Astrid asked.
"Uh, yeah, what other type of dying is there?" Enamorus asked.
"H-H-How can you do that?!" Astrid kept ranting. "How can you simply tell Ash that he'd be responsible for the lives and deaths of a hundred girls?!"
"They'll be fine. He just needs to make a harem." Enamorus insisted.
"WHY DO YOU KEEP SUGGESTING THAT?!" Astrid shouted.
"Trust me, it's easier than you think." Enamorus said. "Girls who fall in love with an Ash tend to take that topic very easy."
"He only asked you for one girlfriend! One! That's the one thing he's been wanting his whole life and it sounds simple enough for a literal God to do it and leave it like that!"
"Astrid, wait-"
"I'M DEFENDING YOUR ASS, IDIOT!" She shouted at Ash. "Or would you rather want me to side with the pink cloud freak here?!"
"N-No, I mean... Enamorus, please undo what you did." He said.
"What?" Enamorus asked. "Ash, I told you, I made a big exception for you and this was the only way it was going to work, if I undo it then you will never find love."
"I... I don't care." He replied albeit with a bit of hesitation. "I'm not putting all those lives in danger, I'm not letting you force those girls to be with me."
"But that's the thing, Ash, I'm not 'forcing' them, they were always meant to be your soulmates." Enamorus explained. "You're the one true love of those three girls and of the other 97 you haven't met yet, but it's only now that I got a chance to fix it, just listen to your heart, I know Helena, Sharlene and Annie are already flooding your mind, and I can assure you that you're flooding theirs as well, that's why you're asking me so hard for a backdown, because you're deeply in love with them and it's exactly because of that that I won't undo it, I'm sorry, of course you deserve to be happy, but everyone has to get through some kind of challenge to achieve happiness and I'm afraid this will be yours, but I need to know... are you up to the task?"
"No... I don't think I am." Ash said to then run out of the shrine, leaving Empoleon, Absol and Astrid with Enamorus.
"You're not going to follow him?" Enamorus asked.
"He... looks like he needs some time for himself." Astrid replied looking at the door.
"I know what you're thinking." Enamorus said and Astrid looked at her. "You're wondering why you aren't one of his soulmates."
"Ash and I are just good friends." Astrid said. "But... it would have been nice if you had chosen me for the string thing."
"It's not that simple." Enamorus said. "He's supposed to meet his soulmates, it's love at first sight, you're not getting the full picture."
"You're a bitch." Astrid told her to then leave the shrine. "That's all I understood from your dumb explanations."
Meanwhile with Ash, somewhere else in the park.
"Of course there was a catch, there just had to be something." He said to himself walking through one of the roads of the park. "And something of this size at that... of course I'm not letting those girls just die, but how am I supposed to do this?" Ash kept talking to himself until he spotted someone sitting on a bench, a girl of fair skin whose blue hair was tied in two buns, she was wearing what seemed to be a modified yellow karate gi and was looking at the floor while sitting on the bench, Ash stopped walking once he was a few steps before her and stared at the girl for a moment.
"Do you mind? I'm depressing myself." She said still looking at the floor.
"Uh, sorry, bad day?" Ash asked.
"Guess you can say that." She replied.
"Well, mine hasn't been ideal either. Looks like we're on the same boat." Ash said and the girl thought in silence for a moment to then move to one side of the bench, letting Ash sit by her side while she still looked at the floor.
"So... wanna talk about our bad days?" Ash asked. "Maybe that'll make you feel better."
"... My... name is Nagisa, I'm a Master Dojo Student." She said. "I... I had a very important battle today and I completely screwed up."
"Well, that happens, everyone is bound to lose from time to time." Ash said.
"You don't understand it." She replied. "I trained to this battle for weeks, I knew everything there was to know and I still didn't stand a chance."
"And that also happens." Ash insisted. "Sometimes the only payoff for training your heart out is a massive failure and that's okay, life can hit us really hard, but it doesn't matter if it takes 100 loses, we're the only ones who can find a way to... get up and try again."
"...Guess that's right." Nagisa sighed. "And why was your day so bad?" She asked to finally look at Ash.
-ZING-
The shock happened again and the two looked at each other while they blushed, but Ash quickly snapped out of it.
"Well, my day... I thought I was finally gonna get something I've been wanting for a long time, but it came with a really bad condition and I'm not sure if I should take it." Ash said.
"Dang, sorry... life can be really unfair, huh?" Nagisa asked to then stand up. "But it's like you said, doesn't matter how hard life may hit us, we have to get up and try again." She said to then wink at Ash and leave the scene with a jog while Ash looked at her go for a moment to then continue his walk in the opposite direction, eventually leaving the park and going down the streets of the city.
"Coming through!" A voice called behind him and he turned around to see a dark-skinned girl in roller skates, she was wearing yellow shorts, a white sleveless shirt and a yellow helmet with protective equipment and her black hair was tied in two ponytails.

The shock happened causing the Roller Skater to lost focus and she ended up falling onto the street with a car going right on her direction, Ash then stood in front of her and the car miraculously managed to break in time, only giving Ash a small bump.
"Oh my gosh! Are you okay?!" From the driver's door came out a girl of fair skin and long brown hair, wearing a pink office outfit.
-ZING-
"Uh... y-yeah, I'm fine." Ash replied to then look back at the Roller Skater who was still laying down on the street. "And you?" He asked and the girl simply nodded. "We're fine, uh... Monica."
"HOW DO YOU KNOW MY NAME?!" The office lady shouted to then look around. "Have you been following me?! Are they watching me right now?!"
"Uh, no, you just... have it there on your identification in your chest." Ash said.
"Oh... right." Monica gave an awkward smile. "OK, BYE!" She exclaimed to then go back inside her car and drive around Ash and the skater while he helped her get out of the street.
"You sure you're okay?" Ash asked.
"Yup, but thanks for the save." She said. "Name's Rolanda, by the way."
"You're a Roller Skater... named ROLanda?" Ash asked with a short laugh.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm aware of the inory." She said laughing as well. "Still, that was a bit weird, I never lose focus while skating, oh, well, see ya later." She said to then roll away and Ash continued to walk his way home until it started raining.
"That's just great." Ash said but the raindrops falling on his head suddenly stopped and he looked up to see a red parasol covering him to then turn around.

Ash was now looking at a girl of fair skin and short dark brown hair wearing a simple yellow raincoat and boots.
"Uh... h-hi!" She stuttered while blushing. "My name is Madeline, I'm your neighbor."
"You are?" Ash asked.
"Y-Yes, but I just moved in last week and I haven't talked with anyone yet, but I've seen you through the window a few times... uh, that sounded a bit creepy... nevermind, would it be okay if I take you home? Wouldn't want you to catch a cold."
"That... sounds nice." Ash smiled at her and the two walked together under Madeline's parasol for around two minutes, simply sharing some short blushing gazes at each other until they made it to Ash's house.
"Thanks a lot, Madeline." Ash said.
"Don't worry, it's nothing." She said to then leave Ash and cross the street, walking to her house which was right in front of Ash's, Madeline waved at him before going inside while Ash kept staring at her from his door before going inside his own house. Ash then sat on his couch and thought in silence about the day before taking his Rotom Phone and calling Astrid.
"You made it home?" They asked at the same time. "Yes, I'm fine, you?"
"Uh, Empoleon is here with me, don't worry." Astrid said. "And what are going to do about... you know."
"Well, Astrid... I think I made up my mind."
"Don't tell me you-"
"Yup." He interrupted. "Looks like I'm getting 100 girlfriends."
"Well... looks like I'll be helping you then." Astrid said.
And that's it!
With this 4th chapter we finish the 'prologue' of this story and now with 7 soulmates in play, it's time to start the Harem making, but before that I'll try to update Timeless Wonders, either way, see you here next time in NSFW (Not Soaked For Work)

DUDE. The Sensational Sisters and Cara Liss are perfect for this fic and I haven't even thought about is why I love reviews so much.
I think I'll save Johanna, Grace and Lana's mom for Fighting Dreamers since they're kind of major characters for what they're worth, but the Moms from BW, BW2, SM and LGPE could do here.
Ash catching Enamorus at some point does seem posible.
