Johnny's POV

Lulu let out a big yawn and I chuckled, she was probably jet lagged given that she'd gotten her so fast.

"I can drive you back to your hotel, you've got to be tired." I could see the exhaustion on her face.

"I stay tired, I'm okay." She brushed it off with a wave of her hand.

"Lulu, you might be able to fool everyone else but you can't fool me. You haven't ever been able to. You're tired, you've probably been on the move since early this morning. Not to mention the fact that you're jet-lagged." Johnny gives her a knowing look.

"I am tired, you're right. It's been a long time since anyone has called me on my bullshit. I just...it gets so unbelievably tiring being alone all the time. I guess you could understand that. Right?" Lulu was sick of being alone, of course she had her children and she loved them dearly but...it wasn't the same.

"I understand more than you know, Lulu. I've basically been by myself since 2011, I almost got engaged but...I realized that she wasn't the one I loved. I will never love anyone the way I love you. I'm not afraid to admit that to you or anyone else." Johnny was a tiny bit nervous as to what she would say but, he couldn't let her go on any longer without her knowing.

"Johnny, I feel the same way. You've always had my heart, you probably always will." Lulu admitted.

"The question is...do we do something about this or not?" Johnny glances into her hazel eyes.

"I think we should. We're older now, hopefully wiser. We know what we want. Hell, we have a child together." Lulu really wanted Johnny, more than anything.

"I think we should start with this." Johnny took her hand in his and placed a kiss on her lips. Lulu immediately responded to his lips, winding her arms around his neck to pull him closer as the kiss deepens.

Charlotte's POV

"Coming!" I called out as someone knocked on the door, I hadn't invited anyone over so I wondered who it could be. I knew that mom was flying to Maine to talk to my father, so it wasn't her. I swung the door open to reveal none other than Maxie.

"Can I help you?" I withheld an eye roll, her daughter Georgie was my best friend but I loathed Maxie because of how my mom was treated when Dante cheated.

"Where's your mother?" Came her pesky reply.

"Out." I crossed my arms, there was no way I was outing my mom.

"Come on sweetie, you can trust me." Maxie smiles and, I just shook my head.

"After how you and Nathan acted after Dante cheated on mom, I could care less about anything you do. I'm not telling you anything about my mother, are we done here?"I crossed my arms, blocking the doorway.

"That was a difficult situation -" Maxie started getting flustered.

"No, it was YOUR choice. You were supposed to be her best friend and be there for her but, you thought your husband was more important. Right? Or was it because you resented her because you couldn't have Johnny Zacchara? I've heard all the stories. Are you mad because he left? Are you mad because he's my father?" Charlotte Wasn't about to give into Maxie.

"Everyone knows Johnny liked me better." Maxie sneered at the teenager.

"Is that why he left town? Because he liked you so much?" I raised a brow.

"You know nothing about how Johnny felt about me." Maxie pointed a finger at her.

"Maybe not but, clearly he didn't care enough to stick around. Don't you have a husband to get home to?" I slowly smirked, I finally knew the reason for the distance between mom and Maxie.

"You're a spoiled brat!" Maxie ranted, turning away and walking to her car.
