It was a bit more of an auxiliary chapter leading into the next, finishing up the morning with Akeno, opening up another route, talking to Rias, finding out a few things and set up for the next chapter to begin that is one of the reasons left unsaid, that Kaito was content to let the training trip play out like normal.
