Yagura watched as his nephews and niece woke up from their slumber. "Did you all gain your Kekkei Genkai " he asked as he watched them stand up. "Hai"he heard them all say as he watched them create sculptures and other objects out of ice. "It's good that you guys unlocked your bloodline however we will focus on that after Kenjutsu and Taijutsu". "So then what are we doing next". "Next we are starting on Kenjutsu and Mizu no kuni's main usage of Kenjutsu. Your dad was a master of this art and even your mom was pretty good at it"he said as he made to leave gesturing for the triplets to follow him.
As Yagura led the three kids through the Mizukage tower. As they walked up the stairs they walked into the room with their dads swords. As Naruto gazed at the third sword he felt it calling for him too hold. It was blood red and made him feel like cutting through flesh and blood with it. As he handed Shikamaru the Orange said with a red hilt to him they gawked as Shikamaru picked up the sword but suddenly fainted.
Weird Mindscape...
As Shikamaru woke up he found himself near a volcano. "This was definitely not his mind scape so who's was it" he thought as he kept walking towards the volcano he saw a person. They had brown hair with red tips with a white Yakama on. "Hmm, a scrawny little brat "the figure said as he cracked his muscles and grinned manically. As the figure leapt at Shikamaru, Shikamaru barely had time to leap to the side. Shikamaru then threw some Shuriken while asking "who are you". The figure laughed as he replied "I am the spirit of the sword you are trying to obtain, if you want to have the honor of owning my sword you have to hit me once before I knock you out". As the figure suddenly tried kicking him again Shikamaru dodging. A set of trying to kick and punch him ensued as Shikamaru could not land a hit but got kicked many times in return. It got so intense that Shikamaru couldn't even see the spirit as he moved around him. Shikamaru was getting bruised and beaten. Shikamaru knew he had no choices but to use one of his two elemental Justus. "Katon: Tsuinfaiadoru " he yelled as he sent out two fireballs. The spirit cut in half and went to cut the Shikamaru in front of him when suddenly he felt himself getting kicked in the back. Not even flinching from the impact the figure slowly turned around and started clapping. As Shikamaru who could barely stand asked " Now have I finished your trial ". "Yes very good child tricking me with a clone" he said mildly impressed. "To earn the right of my sword all you now have to do is say my name". "What is your name" Shikamaru asked . "Saito Somohara " as Shikamaru repeated the name he blacked out.
Outside...
Outside of the mind scape Naruto and Hinata were starting to get worried. Shikamaru had been asleep for almost an hour but Yagura kept keeping them from taking him from the hospital. Suddenly they saw the sword light up sending that light to Shikamaru as they were slightly blinded. When they opened their eyes Shikamaru was wearing a white Yukata and had red tips in his hair. As Naruto blanched at his siblings change in attire he looked towards Yagura seeing him unfazed. " Is the change in appearance normal " Naruto asked uncertainly as Yagura nodded responding " I was shocked to when your dad came looking different but I am guessing some swords influence their users appearance. He then took the blue blade towards Hinata as Hinata held it and blacked out.
Weird Mind Scape...
Hinata woke up in a forest a very calming forest. She didn't know what to do but felt a certain urge to follow the River. Through the smoke that blocked her vision she saw a figure. "Hello young one" she heard as she felt the smoke engulf her. She couldn't see anything but smoke which clouded her vision. "Young one what is your name". "Hinata" Hinata said while trying to keep the nervousness out of her voice. "Well, Hinata to gain access to my sword you will need to do something for me". "What"Hinata asked really hoping she didn't have to fight. "I need to test your willpower and resourcefulness, so I will drop you down into freezing cold water as long as you don't breathe in the water or leave the water for 15 minutes you can keep my sword". Suddenly Hinata felt herself falling and felt wetness crawling up her body.
As she fell she took one deep breath and hit the water. It was freezing that was all she felt. Hinata knew it was impossible to hold your breath for 15 minutes. However she had a plan, though with her current chakra levels she could only do this origanal Jutsu once. "Hyoton: Kori no Domu" she gurgled out as a dome of ice formed around her . She's breathed out a sigh of relief as she was able too breathe for around eight minutes. Suddenly she felt the dome cracking and fell back in the cold water. It was freezing and her body was sitting down. She needed air so bad, no she needed to earn the right to the sword. Her eyes were stinging so bad and her body wasn't moving. She clung onto anything she could put her hands on so she could go and breathe. When suddenly she heard Naruto and Shikamaru's voices in her head " we believe in you Hinata". She had to believe in herself as she suddenly felt her eyes closing. "I guess I won't earn the blade " she thought solemnly. As suddenly she felt herself being pulled up and she took deep breathes in and out.
"Good job" she heard the spirits voice said. "Thanks to our resourcefulness with the ice dome and your willpower for not breathing. I will grant the honor of being my user" she said as she saw the mist clear up. The women standing their had long navy blue hair, pale lavender eyes, and a beautiful blue kimono with clouds on it. "To gain my power all you have to do is say my name which is Yachiru Unohana". As Hinata repeated this she felt black claim her vision.
Outside...
Naruto was very worried for his sister even though he knew she would be fine. She kept making motions for being choked and then taking deep breaths. He watched stunned as the sword produced a light that hit Hinata and shined bright. As he regained composure he saw Hinata had longer hair, had lavender eye's, and was wearing a beautiful navy blue kimono with cloud patterns. He then saw Yagura approaching him as he held his hand out to the red sword and the world went black.
Weird Mind Scape...
As Naruto opened his eyes he saw red. As he schooled his features he plastered a cold an uncaring look on his face. He didn't know but in his mind a small portion of him was savoring this scene and loving the blood. He saw women, men, and children getting slaughtered he really didn't care. He had to totally neutralize his emotions as a shinobi. He would never trust an enemy shinobi. Suddenly he saw a figure most likely the cause of this disturbance. The figure had a maniacal grin on his face with blood red eyes and most peculiarly bells on his brown hair. They figure started at him before saying "So you want my sword do you"he said in a insane voice. Naruto sat down unflinchingly and started at the figure before responding "yes, and good job with the killing"he said in a monotone voice before his mouth broke in a maniacal grin matching the figure. "I like you always kid" the figure said while sitting down parallel to Naruto. As they bantered back in forth each inhabitants insane smile grew and grew as they talked about their love of killing and distrust towards enemies. Before they knew it they were talking like old friends. As Naruto suddenly remembered that he had to obtain the sword. "So what trial do I have to compete too obtain your sword". "You have to kill a hundred people" the figure said sadistically.
Suddenly before Naruto knew it he found himself in a forest surrounded by a hundred people. As Naruto remained inside as he took out a kunai and rushed at these people. None of these people were shinobi , so they didn't fight back. This test was most likely to test his mental limits. Naruto didn't mind killing especially when these weren't even real people and just made up ones. He wasn't dumb he knew he was in the swords mind scape. He started tame by just flirting their throats out shoving kunai up their throats. Soon, though he started going a bit wild mutilating their bodies and destroying their corpses. Their screams of horror just fueled his rampage as he finished off the last of the villagers. Though he had a maniacal grin he soon suppressed it composing himself and displaying a emotionless face once more.
As Naruto watched the figure clapping while walking towards him he grinned. "Well I knew I would get a good user but not this good". "I just realized I never got your name". "That was the next part I was going to tell you, you need my name to acquire my sword. My name is Zerachi Kenpachi"he said as Naruto repeated the name before everything went black.
Outside...
Yagura watched as the red blade sent a light towards Naruto. He watched as Naruto stood up his eyes now red, his hair having of all things bells at the tips, and him wearing a blue kimono with blue armor on top. "Ok now that you all are up I will be teaching you silent killing". As he leads them outside to the training field where he silently puts a barrier up. "So Yagura-oji what are we learning". "Well since I know that you all are ready good at stealth I think I should teach you silent killing. Silent Killing has three main parts to it the Jutsu, anatomy, and strike. First, you guys need to learn the hidden mist Jutsu to learn silent killing". He first went to all of them giving them scrolls. "I will be back in an hour to see your progress".
Time Skip:1 hour
As Yagura walked back to the training ground he saw all three kids disgruntled and tired and sitting down. "Are you ready" he asked while the three stood. He watched as the each of them went through the seals. He saw them release a bit of mist but not nearly enough. "Good for your first attempts however try to insert chakra into your must instead of just using chakra to create it". He just watched Shikamaru release ash instead of mist. Though he noticed this ash had the same qualities as mist but hindered breathing conditions being the user. He then saw Hinata making hand seals and releasing a smoke like substance as you could see nothing and it was impossible to blow away . He then moved to Naruto who released a blood red mist as he entered the mist that caused trees to start growing that suck your chakra. "It seems to put you in a slight Genjutsu he thought to himself".
1. I have decided to change Haku and Gaara's ages to the same as Naruto and Hinata's.
