"Don't worry." Benthomaar said as Nya finished explaining how he could help them find their missing friends. "My army is at your command. We'll do everything in our power to help you find Lloyd and this dragon you call Toothless."

"Thanks, dude!" Zuma exclaimed. "We could use all the help we can get."

The team was suddenly startled by a loud thud as the door to the chamber crashed open and Gracie, Kelpie, and Kelly came running in as fast as their legs could carry them. "We have trouble!" Kelly shrieked.

"Spotted…borders…attack!" Kelpie added, out of breath.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Nya said. "Slow down. What exactly are you talking about?"

But before Kelpie could answer, a frightened cry came floating into the room. "We're under attack! Protect the young!"

Zuma gasped. "Attack?! Not good—not good at all!"

"I don't understand!" Benthomaar exclaimed to Nya. "How could attackers find this place? No one knows about us except for you and your team."

"We must've been—" Tuck started.

"Followed somehow!" Ella finished before the twins said as one (once again), "There's no other explanation!"

"It doesn't matter how they found us!" Gracie cried. "We've got to help the people of Merlopia! They're defenseless against an attack!"

"She's right." Benthomaar stated sadly. "Our tridents may not be enough against this threat. We have to get my people to safety!"

"We'll help you!" Zuma exclaimed, knowing that there was no way anyone was going to argue the point. Benthomaar had rescued them once—now, it was their turn to do the rescuing.

But Ruffnut and Tuffnut did not seem so eager about being engaged in full-blown battle with an unknown enemy. "We will?!" they exclaimed as one.

"Zuma's right!" Nya exclaimed. "It's the right thing to do, and we have to do it."

With that, the Viking twins resigned themselves to helping the team—including Benthomaar—evacuate the people of Merlopia. But as everyone raced towards the pool they had entered through, Kelly suddenly cried out, "Wait! Where's Sora?"

With a start, Nya realized that Sora was, indeed, nowhere to be seen. "She must have slipped out while we were talking! I've got to find her!"

"But dude!" Zuma exclaimed. "What about the Merlopians?"

"I have an idea!" Kelpie cried out. "Nya, Zuma, and I can go find Sora while Bentho and the others get everyone to safety."

"Kelpie, no!" Benthomaar exclaimed. "It's too dangerous, even with your powers!"

At that, everyone was totally confused. "Wait a second." Nya finally said. "Kelpie has powers?!"

"Yeah, Nya! I've got this really awesome ability to form solid objects out of water." Kelpie explained. "Only I don't know what to call it yet."

"What about 'aquakinesis'?" Zuma suggested. "Our friend Sweetie has the same power and that's what she calls it."

"I love that name!" Kelpie exclaimed.

"Can we please get back on track?" Nya interrupted. "We've got a friend to find and a whole city to evacuate."

"You said it." Zuma agreed. "Let's get this rescue on a roll!"

With that, the team split up. Nya, Zuma, and Kelpie headed down a nearby passage while Benthomaar, the Mighty Twins, Kelly, Kaida, Gracie, Ruffnut, and Tuffnut headed for the entrance pool. The pups were shocked when Kelly hit the water and immediately turned into a Merpup. "Whoa!" Tuck exclaimed.

"No way!" Ella added.

"Pretty cool, huh?" Kelly stated in reply, equally ecstatic about her new power.

Meanwhile, Sora was busy analyzing some strange blue panels that appeared to be filled with water and, from what she could gather, were responsible for opening doors and such. She was busily trying to figure out exactly how they worked. All sorts of questions were running through her mind. They're definitely touch-activated, but how exactly does the touch activation work? Maybe it's heat signatures? Nah, most sea creatures are cold-blooded. That wouldn't work. Maybe it's a pressure sensor. No, that would be too obvious.

She was so engrossed in figuring out the panels that she was suddenly startled when she heard voices crying out her name. A few seconds later, Nya, Zuma, and Kelpie all came running into the room as fast as they could. The three skidded to a halt in front of her and all started talking at once.

"Whoa, whoa! One at a time!" Sora cried out.

"We have to get out of here!" Nya said.

"The city's under attack!" Kelpie added.

"What?!" Sora couldn't believe what she was hearing. "I thought no one could find this place!"

"Well, you thought wrong, dude—'cause someone just did!" Zuma replied.

"Why did you sneak off, Sora?" Nya asked. "Why didn't you tell anyone where you were headed?"

"I…I…" Sora stammered. "I was getting bored with the conversation and decided to take a look around, see what I could find. I mean, I have a crazy number of questions about this place."

"You always have a lot of questions, Sora." Nya exclaimed. "Sometimes, that's not really a good thing."

Sora's face fell as she answered sorrowfully, "Back in Imperium, I was never allowed to ask questions. That didn't work for me. That's why I'm here."

But before anyone could respond, a black figure came around the corner with half a dozen black dragons covered in Forbidden Crystals from snout to tail. A sinister voice then spoke, chilling the four to the bone.

"Going somewhere, Elementals?"
