Lulu's POV
I slowly walked into the haunted star noting that it wasn't a crime scene anymore, after what Ronnie had done to me I shouldn't want to be in this place. No, I would always want to be here. This place was the one thing in this world that I actually owned, that was actually mine. I replayed the events of this morning in my head, I wouldn't have ever believed it if it hadn't happened.
This morning
Lulu woke up with a start, to find her husband packing up just about everything he owned. With wonder and anxiety in her heart, she sat up so fast that her head spun.
"Dante?" She finally had the nerve to ask.
"You're up...I was hoping I'd have a few more minutes. I don't really know how to put this. Lulu, I'm going back home. Back to Bensonhurst. I can't be in Port Charles anymore, I can't be with you anymore." Dante's voice shook slightly but, he was firm about his decision.
"Dante...what the hell is going on? You're my husband! I think I deserve more than that from you. You can't just leave me! What is wrong with you?" I stood up from the bed, matching over to Dante hands on my hips.
"Lulu, I can't explain this right now. All I know is that we can't be together anymore. I'm sorry." With that so-called apology Dante left her.
Lulu bit her lip as she thought back on this morning's events, wondering what was so wrong about her that had made Dante want to leave her. They had said until death do them part but, she guessed Dante just didn't want to stay. Maybe she wasn't worth it.
Johnny's POV
"Carly, we can't do this anymore. I don't want to mislead you in any way but, us sleeping together last night? That was a huge mistake. Go home to your husband, I'm sure Jax is wondering where you are." I heaved a sigh, I couldn't believe we'd actually gone through with it. I was disgusted with myself.
"Alright." Was all Carly said before opening the door.
"I didn't realize YOU were coming by." Carly snipped at whoever was behind the door.
"Oh I'm so sorry, maybe I should have called first. That's my bad." Lulu Spencer winced, clearly Carly and Lulu still weren't on good terms.
"Lulu?" I asked, surprised to see her. I'd heard through Ethan that she'd gotten married, I hadn't spoken to her in months.
"Hi...is it a bad time? I can come back. Yeah, I'll come back. I don't want to interrupt whatever...this is." Lulu gestures towards Carly.
"Don't bother." Carly pushed past her, stalking out of my apartment.
"Where's your ring?" I noticed that she wasn't wearing one, shouldn't a married woman have a ring? Lulu shuts the door behind her, walking into the living room.
"Yeah, Dante left me. I'm an idiot." Lulu rolled her eyes.
"What? Please tell me you're joking." This didn't sound like Dante at all.
"All he kept saying was that he couldn't explain it to me, he just needed to go back home. Dante didn't want me to go with him, either. I guess I'm getting a divorce. So, what's up with you and Carly?" Lulu seemed to be handling this news well.
"We drunkenly slept together, I told her that it was a mistake. That's it. I don't have any feelings for her whatsoever." I clarified.
"I actually had a proposition for you...I swear I didn't just come by to be sad." Lulu smirked but, it didn't quite reach her eyes.
"Yeah?" I asked her, surprised.
"Before my dad left town he signed the haunted star over to me, I wanted to open it back up. You know get some bands in there and stuff like that. The only thing is I need a partner and, you're the first person I thought of." Lulu explained to him.
"You know I've always loved the haunted star, of course. It would be good to see you again on a regular basis, I kind of miss your face." Johnny smiled, scratching the back of his neck.
"I...kind of miss your face, too."
