Anna's POV
He was here I knew that much for certain, creeping around the house waiting to strike he wanted me dead. I crept into the darkened room sensing movement my body jumped into action, reaching for my gun and switching the safety off was muscle memory. I shot into the dark, my shit hitting the mark.
Charlotte's POV
That afternoon missing my mom had come in waves, I came into the house knowing daddy wouldn't be home until late. I walked into the kitchen getting a Dr. Pepper out of the fridge and walking into the living room, I felt the presence of someone else here.
"Daddy, is that you?" I called out before I felt a pain in my chest. It was worse than anything I'd ever felt before, I fell to the ground holding my chest in agony.
Valentin's POV
When I entered the house that night I heard a gun shot, I ran into the living room to ensure Charlotte wasn't in any danger. I flipped on the switch and yelled in horror at the sight in front of me, Anna standing over my daughter who was laying on the floor in a pool of blood.
"Anna, you shot my daughter. You shot an innocent fourteen year old girl." A familiar voice rang out, I saw Lulu Falconeri walked slowly into the room.
"I...I didn't mean to..." Anna trails off, I could barely look at Anna. Lulu leaned down beside Charlotte keeping pressure on the wound.
"Lulu?" I asked, shocked.
"I woke up today, I asked the doctors not to call you or Dante because I wanted it to be a surprise for Charlotte and Rocco." Lulu glanced at me, stroking Charlotte's blonde hair.
"Charlotte will be so happy to see you..." I trailed off calling the ambulance, soon enough the three of us were sitting in the ambulance holding each of our daughter's hands.
"I've missed so much." Lulu muses as we walk into the hospital.
"She really does miss you." My voice was raw with worry.
"Valentin?" I heard an all too familiar voice call out, I turned coming face to face with Nina Reeves.
"Nina, long time no see."
