At Louie's Place, it was a very loud and noisy place. Lots of pilots were celebrating the Friday, including Louie's aunt Louise L'Amour, but the fun loving orangutan didn't seem to mind at all. The place is a hit as it always is on a Friday night. Baloo is dancing the night away while holding a root beer in each hand as he danced on tables and a fruit basket hat on his head.

In Cape Suzette at the Higher For Hire building. Rebecca stood in the middle of the office/living room and looking out the window.

Kit, wearing pajamas, walked up behind her. "What's wrong Miz. Cunningham?" He asked coming to her side.

"I don't know." She wouldn't take her eyes away from the window. "I can't seem to get rid of this chill."

Kit frowns. "A chill?" He repeats. "It is a little nippy outside."

Rebecca smiled a little. "Not that kind of chill." She turns to him. "Come on, it's past bedtime." She guides him to the stairs.

"You know, it is a Friday." Kit smiled a little. "Baloo is gonna be fine."

"I am not worried about him, it is Friday so he's welcome to do whatever he's doing." Rebecca responded. "He's a big boy, he can do whatever he wants." When Kit stopped short to look at her with shock, she quickly added. "But not on business hours!"

Unknown to them, Molly's door opens and she slowly walks up to the stairs, staying in the shadows as she looks down at Rebecca and Kit.

Kit turns to Rebecca. "Are you worried about Baloo leaving?"

"What?" Rebecca gasped in shock. "H-h-how?" She stuttered, staring at Kit. "Did you know?" She finally got out.

Kit rubbed the back of his neck. "I overheard you and Baloo in that heated argument last week. And I saw him give you his resigning papers."

In the shadows at the top of the stairs, Molly slapped both paws over her mouth to keep her gasp escaping. Tears slid down her cheeks as she backed away and returned to her bedroom. Quietly and slowly closing her door.

"There's nothing to be done now." Rebecca told Kit. "Now go to bed." She ushered him towards the stairs.

Kit started to climb up to the second floor, when he got to the middle of the stairs he stopped and turned to watch Rebecca as she moved to her desk. "Miz. Cunningham? Are you?" He paused. "Are we going to be ok?"

"We'll be fine, Kit." She tried to reassure him as she sat behind her desk. "Now, goodnight."

Without a word, Kit turned and continued up the stairs, then walked to his bedroom and closed the door.

In her own bedroom, Molly sat on the floor hugging her doll Lucy with her back up against the door, her tears sliding down her cheeks. "Baloo can't leave." She whispered, "He just can't."

The big red numbers on the alarm clock red 2am. Kit, still awake, reached over to face down the alarm clock, but he sat up with a groan. His door slowly opened before Molly's head poked in.

"Kit?" She whispered, still clutching her Lucy doll.

"Molly?" Kit reaches for his desk lamp and turned it on. "What's wrong?"

Pushing his door open, Molly ran and jumped on his bed. "Don't let Baloo go!" She cried, grabbing him. "Please talk I'm into staying."

Kit didn't know what to do. "I tried." He said sadly. "Baloo's made up his mind. He's tired of Rebecca's temper and lashing out on him, and Rebecca's get rich quick ideas."

Molly whimpered. "When's he leaving?"

Chewing on his lip, Kit shook his head. "I … I don't know."

Molly pulls away to look at him. "Are you leaving with him?"

Kit shook his head. "No."

Back at Louie's Place, Baloo was getting ready to leave.

"I still don't approve of you leaving Baloo!" Louise said as she and Louie followed him. "Just grow a pair and stay!" She said sternly.

"I've stayed for long enough." Baloo huffed. "Can't do it anymore."

"Why don't you stay with me?" Louie offered. "At least for the rest of the night, and besides, there's a storm coming."

Baloo shook his head. "Wish I could, but there's so much to do."

Louie sighed, shaking his head. "Well, cuz. I'm going to miss you."

Baloo walks up to him. "Doesn't mean I can't come by." He smiles. "Trust me, I'll be back for your swing digs."

Both orangutans watched as the Sea Duck flew off into the skies.

The sky started to darken with rain clouds. Baloo whistled as he braced himself. "Maybe I should've stayed at Louie's." Sheets of rain started to come down as the wind grew harder and loud thunder rumbled, followed by lightning. Lots and lots of lightning. "Oh man!" He gripped the stick tighter as he continued to fly through the sheets of heavy rain.

KABOOM

The Sea Duck starts spinning out of control.

"Mayday, mayday!" Baloo's voice is head over the radio, Louie and his band stopped cleaning up, and heads turned towards the radio on the counter at the bar. Louie hurried over to the radio. "This is the Sea Duck, I took a hit! I got a busted wing! Mayday!" The orangutan dives for the radio.

"BALOO!?" He shouts into the radio, as his aunt hurries up to his side.

"Louie! I."- Baloo couldn't finish as she radio fuzzed out loudly.

"BALOO! BALOO!" Louie gripped the radio tightly as Louise turns spin around.

"I'm going after him!" She yells, running for the door.

"Me too!"

"I'll help!"

"Right behind you!"

"Count me in!"

Some of the pilots who were still there and waiting for the storm to pass, ran after Louise.

In the storm, the Sea Duck is taking a hard nose dive towards the water as Baloo tried hard to pull up.

At Higher For Hire. Rebecca awoke with a start, lighting and very loud thunder drowned out her scream as she bolted up in her bed. Stumbling out of bed, she ran for a window and shoved open the curtain.

Rain, heavy sheets of rain.

Rebecca spun around and ran.

Once outside, she winced at how hard the rain and wind hit as she looked around. She stumbled over to the dock. "BALOO!" She screamed, her paws cupped around her mouth. "BALOO!"

Somewhere, in an unknown place. Baloo, somehow and as if he could hear Rebecca, Baloo awoke with a start.
