Disclaimer: I was four when Pokemon first came out. How could I possibly own it?

The world of Pokemon. Creatures of power and wonder. Humans and Pokemon have co-existed for many years. Thriving and depending on each other. The Galar region is no exception. Like many other regions, people and Pokemon form strong bonds and strive to become stronger. Testing their skills by battling other Pokemon with their human partners and competing in the Gym Challenge in order to be the very best like no one ever was.

Fifteen year old, Gloria Crawley, was watching a Pokemon exhibition match between the Hammerlock Gym Leader Raihan and Galar's champion Leon. Gloria had platinum blond hair that came down to her shoulders and pale blue eyes behind a pair of dark blue glasses. She was wearing a white t-shirt under a blue hoodie with matching gloves, denim jeans, black sneakers and a blue knit cap.

She looked up from her phone when she heard the door open. Her best friend, Hop Laventon, rushed towards her. "Gloria!" he cheered, yellow eyes shining with joy. Hop was the same age as her with purple hair spiked up, though some of it curled at the front. He wore a denim jacket with fur lined on the inside. Underneath it was a black t-shirt with a logo Gloria never recognised, black pants with black and purple sneakers. His green backpack was already strapped behind him.

"Hey Hop," Gloria said, putting away her rotom phone. "I was just watching your brother's match. I'm surprised you're not."

Hop just waved her off. "I've got it recording at home." Gloria giggled, Hop always records Leon's matches so he could study them with the hope of one day surpassing his brother.

Gloria's mother walks over to them from the kitchen. "Hello Hop, what brings you here?" she asks.

"Oh hey Mrs. Crawley," Hop greeted. "You see, Lee's coming home tonight and I'm going to pick him up from Wedgehurst. I was wondering if Gloria could come with me so I could introduce her to him?"

Mrs. Crawley smiled. "Of course dear."

"Sweet!" Gloria cheered and rushed to her room to grab her bag. Hop called out that he'll be waiting outside.

"Now remember Gloria," Mrs. Crawley started which Gloria interrupted finishing what her mother was going to say.

"I know Mum: No going into the tall grass since I don't have a Pokemon. No going into Slumbering Wield since it's a really weird forest. Be back by dark and let you know if I'm spending the night at Hop's place. You are coming there for dinner with them though right?"

Mrs. Crawley thought for a moment. "I don't see why not. Now hurry up before Hop leaves without you."

Gloria nodded and walked out the door to find Hop waiting for her up ahead. "Come on! Let's go!" Hop called rushing off.

"Wait for me!" Gloria shouting, running to catch up to him. "So why are we meeting him at the station? It's not a long walk."

"Oh, Lee sucks when it comes to directions," Hop explained as the two ran along route one, making sure to stay clear of the tall grass. Though Hop did keep a hand on his Wooloo's pokeball, just in case something came out at them while they were passing by.

Leon was already at the train station surrounded by half the town by the time Hop and Gloria got there. Leon had dark purple hair like his brother but his hair came down to the small of his back. He wore sports wear with a matching cap and a cape which was covered in sponsors. He casually chatted with some of his fans while the kids petted Charizard. Leon's eyes widened in delight when he saw Hop wave over to him at the edge of the crowd.

"Well if it isn't my number one fan," Leon said as the crowd parted to allow him to reunite with his brother. "Look at you. I'd reckon you've grown... exactly a quarter of an inch since I last saw you."

Hop nodded enthusiastically. "Bingo! That's the sort of sharp eye that's kept you undefeated for so long, eh, Lee." He then remembers Gloria and turns to her. "Oh yeah, let me introduce you. This here's my best mate Gloria. Gloria, well, I don't need to tell you who this is."

"Hop's been telling me so much I feel like I know you already," Leon said, extending his hand for Gloria to shake.

Gloria took it. "It's nice to finally meet you too."

Leon then turned back to the crowd. "Well everyone. I must leave for now. But no worries! I'll alway be around to make sure all of Galar can have a champion time!" He strikes his pose to the cheer of the crowd before allowing his younger brother to lead him home. Gloria hangs back a little so the brothers can catch up alone.

When they finally made it back to the Laventon residence Leon led the kids to the back yard where he said he had a present for them. Hop immediately got excited. "I knew you would bring something for us. You got us Pokemon didn't you?"

Gloria got confused. "Wait, I'm getting one too?"

Leon nodded. "Of course. You are Hop's friend after all. And I have no doubt you would make a great rival for him." Gloria couldn't stop herself from smiling as Leon took out three Pokeballs and tossed them into the air.

The first one that came out was Grookey. A little monkey like pokemon with a green body. Its ears and tail were brown and its paws and snout were orange. There was a little branch nestled in between a pair of tufts on its head that looked like leaves.

The second one is Scorbunny. It looked like a little rabbit with a white body that had orange and yellow markings on its ears, toes and neck, which made it look like a collar. It also had a yellow band on its nose, making it look like a band-aid. Similar pads were on its feet. Its tail was small and white like a cotton ball.

Finally there was Sobble. A light blue lizard like pokemon with a curled up tail. The cheeks and tail were tipped in a darker blue while its face and belly had a lighter color. It had a yellow fin on the top of its head that was bordered in dark blue.

They all lined up in front of Leon. "Alright. Take your pick," he told the teens.

"You can go first Gloria," Hop offered.

"You sure?" Gloria asked.

Hop nodded. "Oh yeah. After all, I've already got Wooloo."

Gloria excitedly turned back to the pokemon. Eyes darting between the three. Finally she settled on Scorbunny. "You and I will make a great team!" she declared, picking the fire type up in her arms. Scorbunny cheered in agreement.

Hop knelt down to Grookey. "I'm aiming to be the next champion. So I'll need your help to reach the top." Grookey happily nodded to that. Hop straightens back up and looks at his brother. "Does this mean you'll be endorsing us for the Gym Challenge now?"

Leon gains a dubious look on his face. "The Gym Challenge? Sure you're not putting the cart before the Rapidash little brother?"

Gloria joined in on Hop's pleading. "Oh come on Leon. Why else would you give us a Pokemon?"

Leon then started laughing. "I'm just messing with the two of you. I've already got your endorsements written out."

"Really!" Hop and Gloria cheered in excitement. Their faces fell through when Leon placed a hand up.

"Hold on you two. If you want those endorsements you've still got to earn them. Take tonight to get to know your new Pokemon. Tomorrow, Professor Magnolia will come over to give you both a Pokedex. After that I want the both of you to have a battle. It doesn't matter who wins or loses. If you two can show me an awesome battle then the endorsements are yours," Leon instructed.

Hop pumped his fist in the air. "This is it. Tomorrow, my legend begins. I'll beat you Lee and become the next champion."

"That is if you can be me to it," Gloria challenged. "Don't forget I plan on becoming the strongest trainer out there. Strong enough so that I can protect everyone and keep them safe from whatever danger is thrown our way. The champion has the perfect position to do that." Hop nodded and the two clapped their hands signaling the start of their new rivalry.

"Alright that's enough trainer nonsense," Mrs. Laventon said as she arrived with Mrs. Crawley.

"Dinner's ready for you three. So let's eat."

The rest of the night was spent enjoying each other's company. Gloria and Hop watch their Pokemon eat in excitement as they talk about the Gym Challenge and what kind of Pokemon they hope to catch.

The next morning, Gloria left her house to find Hop outside waiting for her. "What are you doing here?" she asked.

Hop gave a sheepish smile as he rubbed the back of his head. "Lee said I was bouncing off the walls in excitement while waiting for the professor so he suggested I get you to let off some steam."

Gloria shook her head in fondness when the two heard a crashing sound. Looking around they notice a Wooloo tackling a gate near Gloria's house. The two started chuckling at the Wooloo's antics. "Come on now. You know the Slumbering Weald is past that gate," Hop jokes.

Gloria approached Wooloo. "Alright little guy, let's get you somewhere else." Before Gloria could reach the Wooloo however, the sheep like Pokemon gave one more hard tackle at the gate, smashing it to pieces. Gloria and Hop could only stare as the little sheep rolled off into the woods.

Hop quickly snapped out of his stupor and started running after it. Gloria started to follow him.

"Hop wait! You know we're not allowed in there," she reminded him.

Hop turned to face her. "But we can't leave that Wooloo there. Who knows what might happen to it," he argued. Any doubts Gloria had vanished and was replaced with determination to help the defenseless Pokemon. And together, they entered the Slumbering Weald.

The trees here grew tall and the branches were spread wide making the place look rather dark despite it being early morning. There was also a layer of fog surrounding the two trainers. Squinting through the fog, Hop and Gloria slowly inched forward calling out for Wooloo. A rustling in some bushes caught Goria's attention and she rushed over to move the branches aside. "Wooloo are you there?" she asked.

What she got wasn't a Wooloo but rather a Rookidee which started viciously pecking at Gloria. Gloria quickly lept back to get away from the small flying type but it looked like it wasn't going to leave her alone.

"You okay mate?" Hop asked as he rushed to Gloria's side.

"I'm fine," Gloria answered, not taking her eyes off Rookidee as she took out a Pokeball. "Scorbunny, kickoff!" Scorbunny appeared, ready for a fight. Rookidee quickly flew in for a Tackle attack, which Gloria countered with Scorbunny's own tackle. The two went back and forth with this until Rookidee looked tired out.

"Okay it looks like Rookidee will leave us alone now. Let's go back to looking for Wooloo," Hop said.

"Hold on Hop. I want to catch it," Gloria said, taking out an empty Pokeball.

"Now? But why?" Hop asked.

"With Rookidee's help we might be able to find Wooloo a lot faster," Gloria explained, lobbing the Pokeball at the small bird. The Pokeball hit the Rookidee square between the eyes before it was absorbed into the ball. It shook once. Twice. Thrice. Finally it clicks, signaling a successful capture. Gloria went to pick up her new Pokemon with a big grin on her face.

"Hey where did you get an empty pokeball anyway?" Hop asked.

"Oh, I bought some with my allowance a while back in case my mum would let me catch some," Gloria explained. Tossing Rookidee's ball up into the air she called out the tiny bird. Rookidee materialized and gave Gloria a confused look. Gloria pulled out a potion and started healing Rookidee's wounds. "Hi Rookidee. Sorry for capturing you but I was hoping you could help us look for a lost Wooloo."

Rookidee chirped in understanding and proceeded to rub his head into Gloria's hand as she healed him. "Looks like it likes you," Hop said.

"So you'll help us?" Gloria asked.

"Rookidee!" Rookidee cheered and began taking flight. Gloria called back Scorbunny and she and Hop started following Rookidee. They went deeper into the forest. The fog getting thicker as they proceed. Finally, Rookidee, Gloria, and Hop stop at what appeared to be a small clearing.

"Man this fog is crazy. I can't see my hand in front of my face," Hop said, squinting really hard.

"Yeah me neither," Gloria said. "We're never going to find Wooloo at this rate."

Hop then tensed. His ears have caught something. "Gloria do you hear that?"

Gloria strained her ears. It sounded like footsteps. "Wooloo!" she called out. "Is that you?"

Two rather large wolf-like Pokemon emerged from the fog. One was a cyan color with pink braids going down the side of its body. The tip of its left ear was missing and it looked like there were more scars down its body. The other one was magenta with a blue ponytail coming from the top. The fur on its neck surrounded its head like a mane and the tip on its right ear was missing.

"What kind of Pokemon are these?" Hop wondered.

"Hopefully friendly ones," Gloria said. Rookidee flew down to be in front of it's trainer. Gloria caught the glint in the bird's eyes. "Do you want to try and fight it?" Rookidee nodded. "Okay then tackle attack!" Rookidee flew straight at the cyan wolf only to go right through it.

"What? The attack didn't do anything?" Hop cried out in surprise. The two wolves howled and the fog started to thicken even more. "Blimey! It's getting really hard to see now. Wonder if it's these pokemon's doing," Hop figured, pulling out Wooloo's pokeball. "Wooloo you use tackle too." The little sheep pokemon came out and rolled into the magenta wolf only to have the same effect.

"Looks like we can't do anything to stop these two," Gloria said.

"So now what?" Hop asked.

The two wolves howled again and this time the fog grew so thick the trainers couldn't even see each other. "Gloria are you okay?" Hop called out.

"Hop where are you?" Gloria cried as her vision started to black out. Soon her body became heavy and both she and Hop fell unconscious on the forest floor. Rookidee and Wooloo alongside them.

It wasn't long before everyone started waking up. Gloria groggily opened her eyes to find herself lying on the ground. Rookidee, Hop, and his Wooloo were also just getting up. "Are you alright mate?" Hop asked.

Gloria nodded and checked on Rookidee. He was fine too. "Hop! Gloria!" The two turned to see Leon running towards them.

"Lee! How did you find us? You're pants when it comes to directions," Hop asked surprised.

Leon put his hands on his hips and gave his little brother a stern look. "That's nice to hear from the one who had me worried sick. What were you two thinking? You know this place is off limits. What do you think our Mums will say when they learn you two went in here?"

"We came in here looking for a Wooloo that wandered in," Gloria quickly explained.

Leon looked surprised. "Wait, do you mean this one?" He turned around and Gloria and Hop saw Wooloo being looked after by Charizard. "I found him along with the rest of you guys. Though all of you were passed out by the time I got here."

"What about those strange Pokemon?" Hop asked, turning around to look for them.

"What strange Pokemon?" Leon asked. "I just found the four of you here." Rookidee flew to Gloria's shoulder and chirped in a huff, annoyed at being left out. "Oh sorry I mean five of you. Gloria, have you already gone and caught a Pokemon?"

Gloria nodded. "I was hoping he could help us find Wooloo since it seemed to know the area well." Rookidee started to snuggle up into Gloria's neck. "Stop that it tickles," Gloria laughed.

"It looks like Rookidee has taken a real shine to you," Leon said.

"Rookidee would you like to stay with me?" Gloria asked. Rookidee nodded. Gloria cheered.

"Alright! I already have my second partner. Watch out Hop, I'm starting to catch up to you."

Hop crossed his arms. "We'll see about that."

"Alright now come on you two. We really ought to be getting out of here," Leon said. Charizard led the group back out of the forest.

The trio and their pokemon made their way back to Hop's and Leon's house where two women were waiting outside.

One was an older woman with brown hair that had flecks of gray in them and green eyes behind a pair of reading glasses. She wore a yellow dress underneath a lab coat and a purple headband in her hair. She also had a cane with what looked like a bird pokemon for the handle.

The one next to her looked to be about Leon's age and had peach hair held up in a ponytail decorated with heart shaped hair pins. A pair of glasses was also pushed up to rest on her forehead. She had aqua eyes and was wearing an aqua shirt with denim jeans and aqua boots. Over that was a yellow coat. She also had a black pokeball shaped purse.

"Ah there you are Leon. We were beginning to wonder what kept you guys," the younger woman said.

"My bad. Looks like these two wound up taking a detour," Leon explained before addressing the teens. "Let me introduce you two. This is my old friend Sonia. We took on the gym challenge together back in the old days. And this is her grandmother Professor Magnolia."

"It's nice to meet the both of you," the professor greeted with a nod.

"Nice to meet you too," Hop and Gloria said in unison.

"So Professor, do you have our pokedexes?" Hop asked.

"That depends. Leon said you both have Rotom Phones right?" Magnolia asked.

Hop and Gloria nodded but they were confused. "What does our phones have to do with the pokedex?" Gloria asked.

"Well with how far technology has come we really don't need to keep a pokedex as a separate device anymore. Now we're able to download them on our Rotom Phones," the professor explained.

The teens grew excited at that and gladly handed their phones over so that the professor could add in the new app. "There you go. You're all set."

Gloria instantly looked up her Rookidee in her new Pokedex. "Rookidee, the tiny bird pokemon. A flying type. It will bravely challenge any opponent, no matter how powerful. This Pokemon benefits from every battle- even a defeat increases its strength a bit."

Hop rushed over to one side of the field. "Come on Gloria. Let's battle already!"

Gloria went over to the other side. "Alright. Alright."

Leon went to the middle of the field. "This will be a two on two match," he announced. "Trainers ready?"

"Wooloo! Time to shine!" Hop calls out sending out his long time partner.

"Rookidee! Kickoff!" Gloria shouted.

Leon raised his hand up. "Begin!"

Hop starts off with tackle. The sheep like Pokemon rushed to Rookidee but Gloria had him dodge in time before contouring with her own tackle. Hop manages to block it with protect and follows up with agility. Gloria tries to follow Wooloo's movements but he becomes too fast. With a final command of Headbut, Wooloo puts Rookidee down.

"Rookidee is unable to battle. Wooloo is the winner," Leon announced.

"Alright! Way to go buddy!" Hop cheered.

"Wooloo," Wooloo said, rushing to his trainer's arms.

"That was impressive," Sonia said.

Her grandmother smiled in agreement. "You wouldn't think this was their first time battling."

"I'd expect nothing less from the two of you," Gloria said, returning Rookidee. "But can you make it two for two? Scorbunny, kickoff!" she sent out her second Pokemon.

Hop gave Wooloo a pet before returning him to his Pokeball. "Just you wait, Gloria. Grookey, time to shine!" Grooky came out and squared off against Scrobunny. "Use Scratch attack!"

"Dodge and counter with Tackle," Gloria commanded. Scorbunny was able to dodge Grookey's sharp claws and drove his head straight into Grookey's stomach.

"Man, that tackle looks strong," Hop muttered to himself before he called out to his Pokemon. "Weaken it with Growl."

"Counter with Leer," Gloria said. Scorbunny did as asked, but then opened its mouth and shot small fireballs out of it. Hop quickly got over his shock and ordered Grookey to dodge, which he did so successfully.

"Wow, it looks like Scorbunny's already learned Ember," Sonia said.

Leon gave a small nod. "I can already tell she's going to go far. She's the perfect person to accompany my brother for his journey."

"Alright Scorbunny, use Ember once more!" Gloria shouted. Scorbunny shout out it's move once again and this time Grookey was unable to dodge in time. That super effective hit is enough to put Grookey down.

"Grookey is unable to battle. Scorbunny wins. Therefore this match is a draw," Leon declared.

"We did it, Scorbunny!" Gloria cheered as the small rabbit pokemon jumped into her arms.

Hop returned Grookey to his pokeball. "You were amazing Grookey. We'll get them next time." He and Gloria walked over to where Leon, Sonia, and her grandmother were.

"That was an awesome battle," Sonia complimented.

Professor Magnolia nodded in agreement. "You two are going to go far with proper training."

"She's right," Leon said. "That battle was so fired up I almost wanted to let out Charizard and get in on the fun. Well, a deal is a deal. The endorsements are yours." Leon handed the teens two envelopes with their names on them.

Hop couldn't stop shaking as he and Gloria took them gingerly in their hands. "This is amazing!" Hop cheered.

"We're really going to do this," Gloria whispered. Almost as if she couldn't believe this was happening.

"The two of us are going to make it to the top. No matter what," Hop said. Gloria gave a nod of determination.

"Oh and I have something else for you Hop," Leon said, pulling something out of his pocket. It was a white band that had a stripe of red on top and blue on the bottom. In the center was what looked like a screen with a pokeball symbol in the middle.

Hop was stunned. "Is this...?"

Leon nodded. "I was able to pull some strings with the chairman and get you a Dynamax band. Unfortunately I was only able to get one. Sorry Gloria."

Gloria shook her head. "It's fine. I'm going to get one of my own at some point soon enough. I just know it."

Hop fixed the Dynamax band on his wrist. "This is it. With this Dynamax band and my endorsement. I'm now ready for the Pokemon League."

"Umm, aren't you forgetting something first?" Leon asked with a chuckle.

Hop looked confused. "What's that?"

"You still need to finish packing," Leon answered.

Hop started to freak out. "Oh yeah you're right. I got to get ready." He started to run off to his room but quickly remembered that Professor Magnolia and Sonia were there and gave them a respectable bow. "It was nice to meet you both. And thanks for the Pokedex." He then ran inside.

"I should start packing too," Gloria said, saying farewell to the others. Once she entered her home she quickly embraced her mother. "Look Mum! I did it. Leon endorsed me and Hop."

"That's wonderful dear," Mrs. Crawley said with tears in her eyes.

"Are you going to be okay Mum?" Gloria asked. "I know you'll be by yourself now but don't worry. I'll make sure to call you every night if you want."

"That would be nice dear," Mrs. Crawley said, tightening the hug on her daughter. "But don't worry about little old me. I'm just finding it hard to believe how fast you've grown up." She then let go of Gloria and went back to the kitchen. "Why don't you go ahead and start packing. Dinner will be ready soon."

"Oh! Before that I want to go and tell Dad the good news real quick," Gloria said.

Her mother took a quick look out the window. The sun was starting to set but it was still rather bright out. "Alright. Just don't stay too long, okay?"

"I won't!" Gloria assured and ran back outside. She rushed past Hop's house and entered the Postwick Cemetery. Walking the familiar path that led her to where her father laid.

Conan Crawley

Brilliant Detective

Loving Husband

Devoted Father

"Hey Dad. You are not going to believe this." Gloria took out her pokeballs and summoned Scorbunny and Rookidee. "I have a couple Pokemon of my own now and Ta-da!" She brandished the endorsement Leon gave her. "Leon endorsed me and Hop to the Gym Challenge. I'm going on my own Pokemon journey." Gloria moved some of the hair out of her face as the wind started to pick up.

"Just you wait Dad. Soon I'll have an amazing team, and then we're going to beat Leon and become the next champion. And I'll keep getting stronger. Strong enough to protect anyone. So no one will be lost the way you were Dad."

Rookidee flew up to Gloria's shoulder and nuzzled her cheek while Scorbunny hugged her ankle. Gloria knelt down and patted Scorbunny on the head. "Thanks you two." She rose back up and went back to her father. "Well, wish us luck."

At that moment a bright light shone above them. Gloria looked up and saw a purple streak heading straight towards them. Her eyes widened in panic. There had been news of mysterious streaks of light coming down from seemingly nowhere and striking pokemon who then Dynamax and went wild until they were defeated by strong trainers. Usually Leon.

Gloria tucked her pokemon close to her chest and ran from her father's grave. The beam came down just a few feet from where the grave was leaving a small crater in its wake. Gloria cautiously opened her eyes after the dust settled and found a small crater with an odd rock in the middle. Thinking she and her pokemon were safe now, Gloria got closer for a better look. "What is this?" she wondered aloud.

"That is a wishing star," a familiar voice answered. Gloria looked and saw Professor Magnolia walk towards her.

"Professor," Gloria greeted. "What are you doing here?"

The professor looked over her shoulder and gazed longingly at another grave nearby. "My late husband is buried here. I was hoping to come and visit while I was in town." She then bent down to pick up the stone that fell to the ground.

"Careful. It could still be hot," Gloria warned.

"Not to worry dear. It's safe now," Magnolia assured, bringing the stone up to eye level.

Gloria examined the object with interest. "You said this was a wishing star?"

Magnolia nodded. "Yes. You see it is with this that people are able to Dynamax at certain locations. This is the source of the Dyanmax Band's power." Gloria just listen in amazement. "It is said that wishing stars appear to those with a strong wish in their hearts." Magnolia turned her eyes from the wishing star to Conan's grave and gave a small smile. "I'm guessing it did not fall here by coincidence. Gloria would you like a Dynamax Band just like your friend Hop?"

Gloria nodded in excitement. "That would be the coolest thing."

"Then I'll convert this wishing star into a Dynamax Band for you. It should be ready by tomorrow so make sure you stop by my lab in Wedgehurst before you leave for your train tomorrow," Magnolia offered.

"Really Professor? You mean it?" Gloria asked. Magnolia gave a nod of conformation and Gloria bowed in thanks. "Thank you so much." After Gloria returned her pokemon to their pokeballs she and the professor parted ways for the night.

The next morning Hop was at the station along with his mom and Mrs. Crawley. He was looking at his watch and tapping his foot impatiently. "Where is she? The train leaves in five minutes," Hop wondered.

"I'm here!" Gloria called out rushing over to everyone.

"About time. So what did you have to get over at the Professors?" Hop asked. As Gloria struggled to catch her breath she showed Hop her brand new Dynamax Band. "Whoa! How did you get that?"

"It's the craziest thing. A wishing star fell down not far from Dad's grave," Gloria explained.

"Wow. No way," Hop exclaimed.

"It's almost like your father wanted to give you a present before you left for your journey," Mrs. Crawley said with a wrapped gift in her hand. "And now it's time for me to give you yours." Gloria opened the box to find a silver chain with a large silver ring serving as the pendant. "It was your father's wedding ring," Mrs. Crawley explained. "I'd thought you would like a part of him with you as you travel around Galar."

"Mom, are you sure about this?" Gloria asked.

"So long as you don't lose it," Mrs. Crawley said.

Gloria took the necklace out of the box and put it on. "I'm never going to take this off," she promised. The train whistled and the conductor was calling out for last minute passengers to board. "Well Mom, wish me luck," Gloria said.

"Just you wait Mom. Soon you'll be the mother of two champions!" Hop said.

Mrs. Laventon smiled. "Of course you will be. You two take care now."

"Make sure to call once you've made it to Motostoke," Mrs. Crawley said. Hop and Gloria nodded before rushing off to board the train.

This was it. The beginning of their adventure. What challenges await them? And who will reach the top?
