As the vulpine duo descended into the RedEye King's lair, Fox felt horrified at what he just heard from Krystal. "You're unable to read King RedEye's thoughts!?"

Krystal nodded, nervously. "I'm sorry to be useless in our upcoming fight."

"Useless? With or without your telepathic abilities, you're still an elite warrior."

"Yes, but my telepathy has always been helpful in fighting large monsters with unorthodox weaknesses. Whenever I led my fellow warriors into battles with large monsters, my telepathy helped to find their weak points."

"Don't you remember what my dad taught me? 'Never give up. Trust your instincts'?"

Krystal nodded. "I do remember you telling me that."

"And have you ever won fights without your telepathy?"

"Come to think of it, I have. As I mentioned before, a strong emotion makes it hard to perceive someone's thoughts. And it's hard not to have strong emotions in a fight. Especially against multiple foes at once. Like with that battle against the rats I mentioned. My mind-reading was useless in that fight too."

"How did you beat them?"

"Aside from battling them with all my might, I also…"

But then the lift finished its descent. Then a large door opened before the vulpine duo, leading to a gargantuan, circular, colosseum-like area with a Tyrannosaurus Rex larger than the ones they fought earlier curling itself up in a circle, sleeping. The beast appeared to have spikes over its eyebrows, and the fourth and final SpellStone in its forehead. It was the King RedEye. The snoring of the beast echoed throughout the arena.

Nervous, the vulpine duo slowly crept into the colosseum before the door closes behind them. Seeing that the evil, gargantuan beast was fast asleep, they instantly turned to each other and gave each other a slight nod. Then they carefully tiptoed towards the monster, hoping they would be able to sneak up to it quietly enough so that they could pry the SpellStone from its forehead and sneak away before it could wake up. They figured that if they were to pull that off, if it were to awaken afterwards, it would become vulnerable to Krystal's mind reading. They continued to creep up towards it as stealthily and as silently as possible, but once they were halfway towards it, they noticed the beast's nostrils twitching. They assumed instantly that it was a bad sign. They quickly halted their movements and kept watching it. Fortunately for them, the beast's nostrils then contracted back to their more relaxed state. The vulpines smiled in relief, but after they tiptoed a few more steps toward King RedEye, its nostrils started flaring up again, and far more vigorously than last time. The heroes felt a tinge of fear in their hearts. They viewed the movements of the beast's nostrils as an indication that their attempt at stealth wasn't going to work. Then King RedEye's eyes opened, and the look in it conveyed a primal, beasteal, and savage rage and a desire to tear apart everything that stood before it. All hope the two foxes had was instantly eradicated. Fox and Krystal instantly drew their staffs as their gargantuan adversary rose from its slumber and roared so loudly they were afraid their eardrums would break off. They knew they had to fight.

King RedEye charged at the two foxes with its mouth gaping wide open. Just as the beast was about to strike them both with a large bite, they quickly dodged out of the way, then struck at its teeth with their staffs at each side, shattering many of them. The beast roared in agony as blood sprayed from its mouth. Krystal and Fox then fired barrages of Fire Blasts into its mouth, causing it to stagger and stumble back…

…until its teeth regenerated, as sharp and menacing as they were before the two vulpine warriors smashed them. The beast let out another loud, ear-piercing roar in its rage.

Krystal was dumbfounded. "No way! It regenerated!? It's bad enough I couldn't read its thoughts!" King RedEye charged at the two foxes using its own head as a battering ram. They dodged out of the way.

Fox was about as frustrated as Krystal. "How are we supposed to beat this beast!? We can't probe its mind, its weak spots regenerate, and since regular attacks don't work on normal RedEye, they have no chance of hurting him!"

"Who's to say we've tried everything?"

Fox initially didn't know what Krystal was talking about. But he spotted King RedEye charging at Krystal, while she watched and waited. King RedEye approached Krystal and attempted a lunging bite at her, but she instantly dodged it and climbed onto the side of its face before it could raise its head back up again. By the time he did raise it, Krystal was already preparing to drive the tail end of her staff into the beast's eye. The beast roared in pain, but before Krystal could push her staff further into its head so that it would pierce his brain, the monster shook his head so violently that Krystal lost her grip and was sent flying, screaming across the colosseum. Fox rushed up to Krystal and once he got close to her, he jumped into the air and grabbed her, allowing her to land safely on the ground.

Krystal smiled at Fox, saying, "Thanks, Fox."

Fox let Krystal out of his arms, putting her back on the ground, saying, "You're welcome, Krystal."

But the vulpine duo was startled as they stared in shock as the King RedEye roared in anger and hatred, and Krystal gasped as she saw the beast's eye regenerate. Krystal then spotted her staff and telekinetically drew her staff towards herself. She caught it in her hand and prepared to resume fighting. The beast charged at her and Fox again then they quickly dodged the attack. Fox then reached into his backpack and got out the grappling hook previously used by a SharpClaw to make an EarthWalker vulnerable to a RedEye. He aimed the hook at King RedEye's neck. However, he was aiming at the side of the beast's neck, covered in its impenetrable scales. Not thinking that it would work on the beast, Fox just kept watching and waiting. He then saw the beast's nostrils flare up, and it quickly turned to him. Fox saw the opportunity and quickly fired at the beast's throat while the underside thereof was exposed. He quickly fired at it and the hook launched straight into the beast's throat, piercing its underside. The beast howled in pain as the hook pierced its throat, but it continued to charge at Fox, ready to sink its fangs into his body. However, the pain it felt disoriented it, giving him more than enough time to dodge the beast's attack. Fox quickly rolled out of the way, beside Krystal, as King RedEye quickly reoriented himself. He quickly asked her, "Krystal! You think you can use your telekinetic powers to wrap that chain around King RedeEye's throat?"

"I'll give it a try." Krystal then used her telekinetic abilities to lift the other end of the grappling hook into the air, but before she could start wrapping it around the beast's throat, the beast charged at her yet again, preparing yet another lunging bite. Krystal prepared to dodge, but the beast quickly scooped her into its mouth before she could react, dropping her staff onto the floor in the process. Krystal struggled as she held on tight to the beast's teeth to make sure she didn't get eaten. Seeing the peril she was in, Fox gasped in horror, screamed her name, and rushed on over to rescue her.

Only to realize that he didn't need to. Krystal instantly generated electricity in her hand and shoved it onto the roof of the beast's mouth. As the beast howled in pain due to the massive amounts of electricity surging through its body, Krystal quickly jumped out of its mouth and onto its back, and leaped forward, towards her staff, landing on her hands and flipping forward in the air, and once she landed, she grabbed her staff again. The beast charged at her yet again for another lunging bite but Krystal dodged yet again, and struck at the beast's teeth, shattering them, yet again. The beast let out another roar of agony with more blood spraying out of its mouth, and this time, Krystal eyeballed the blood. She quickly spotted where that blood landed, and then quickly dove into and rolled around in said puddle.

Disturbed at what Krystal was doing at that moment, Fox quickly ran up to her, shouting, "What are you doing, Krystal!?"

Krystal replied, "I figured out how King RedEye detected us! You remember the way its nostrils twitched before it woke up?"

"Yeah."

But the beast charged at the vulpine duo before they dodged its lunging bite. The beast prepared to chomp Fox, but Krystal fired a barrage of Fire Blasts into King RedEye's mouth, causing it to stagger long enough for Fox and Krystal to run to the other side of the colosseum.

With enough distance between themselves and the beast, Krystal resumed her explanation. "King RedEye detected us by scent! Not by sound!"

"How does that explain why you're covering your body in blood!?"

"To cloak my scent!"

"Cloak your scent?"

But King RedEye charged at the vulpines again. It prepared a lunging bite at them. Or rather, at Fox. Fox quickly dodged the bite, before firing Fire Blasts into the beast's mouth. Krystal rushed over to his side and did the same.

But King RedEye closed his mouth and lowered his head to protect himself from the Fire Blasts, and charged right at Fox, hitting him so hard that he collided with the wall behind him, but before Fox could drop to the ground again, King RedEye rammed his head to Fox, pinning him to the wall, hoping to squash him before feasting on his gruesome remains. Krystal gasped in terror and rushed to his rescue, furiously stabbing King RedEye in the eye with the tail end of her staff, then quickly pulled it back out and jumped off before he could raise his head again. A large streak of blood leaked out of his eye socket onto the floor. She shouted, "He's targeting you because your scent is completely exposed! Bathe in the beast's blood and you'll disorient him!"

"Are you kidding!? The blood will have lots of germs in it! And I don't think I'll be able to wash it off of my space suit…"

"Then strip it off! Fight like a Cerinian warrior!"

Fox knew this was a life-or-death situation, so he didn't see the point in arguing against Krystal. He threw off his shirt, unbuckled his belt, letting his pants fall off, and threw off his boots. Now stripped down to his skivvies, Fox jumped into and rolled around in the puddle of blood Krystal created by impaling the beast in the eye. Now his body was as covered in King RedEye's blood as Krystal's was. He then ran back to Krystal's side. King RedEye kept sniffing around the room, but something was different about it compared to before. It didn't seem to be able to keep track of the vulpine duo anymore, It could no longer truly figure out where they were. It was as if it were searching around in a dark room.

Fox was happy at the beast's confusion. "It's working, Krystal!"

"Let's not get overconfident. Its eyesight may be poor, but it can still see us if it concentrates enough. Still, having our scents cloaked does give us an advantage…" Krystal telekinetically levitated the gun end of the grappling hook that Fox shot King RedEye in the throat with in the air, brought it towards her as if she were loading up a catapult, then she vigorously flung it forward. The kinetic energy flung the chain around the beast's neck at an extremely rapid pace.

Krystal rushed over behind the beast, and with her scent cloaked by his blood, she had an easy time getting behind him. She then jumped onto and grabbed a hold of the beast's tail. But before she could begin to climb it, King RedEye immediately sensed that something was latching onto his tail. He swung his tail with sheer immense swiftness in one direction that Krystal held on tight so that she would end up being flung off. He then swung his tail in the other direction just as swiftly and with just as much fierce energy that Krystal again held on tight

Fox immediately recognized he had to do something or Krystal's plan to defeat King RedEye wouldn't work. He fired a barrage of Fire Blasts at King RedEye's face, irritating him, and with more focus put on his face, the movement of his tail slowed down significantly.

Taking advantage of this, Krystal ran along the beast's tail and his back until she finally reached the chain wrapped around King RedEye's neck. She quickly grabbed the chain and used the back of the beast's neck as a support, then used her Krazoa magic to prevent herself from getting thrown off of him, then pulled the chain violently in her grasp. King RedEye felt the chain burrowing deeper and deeper into his throat. He struggled to breath as the chain started to dig into his windpipe.

Desperate to free himself from the Cerinian warrior princess's grasp, King RedEye bucked with his neck, hoping to break off Krystal's arms with his massive size, compared to her. As Krystal continued to pull on the chain, she felt as if she could not only lose her grip at any moment, but also that her arms could be ripped from their sockets.

Fortunately for her, she knew exactly how to counter it. She poured her Krazoa energy into drastically increasing her physical strength, then gave the chain an even stronger tug than before, digging it even further into King RedEye's throat, preparing to squeeze all life from the evil beast. King RedEye continued to thrash about, attempting to break free from Krystal's hold on him, but to no avail. With a last gasping effort, King RedEye tensed every muscle and lurched forward. His reptilian eyes began to bulge from their sockets as the chain tightened; his oily tongue flopped from his mouth. But Krystal's grasp remained firm as she continued strangling the carnivorous demon.

King RedEye's movements slowed. His efforts were in vain. Krystal had successfully robbed the beast of all life. King RedEye collapsed onto the floor, dead. Krystal leaped off his corpse and reunited with Fox.

"Wow, Krystal! You were amazing!" Fox was happy to see that Krystal not only did so well, but also strangled King RedEye single-handedly, so to speak.

Krystal took a bit of a downward glance and noticed that Fox had a bit of a bulge. She gave him a flirtatious smile, "Happy to provide you with some… excitement, Fox. Shall we get that last SpellStone?"

Fox nodded. He and Krystal then rushed to King RedEye's corpse, and jammed their staffs into the crevices between King RedEye's flesh and the SpellStone. They pulled with all their might, but after a few seconds, the SpellStone popped out of King RedEye's flesh and bounced across the room. But as they turned to acquire it, they heard a growl behind them.

It turned out King RedEye wasn't quite dead yet. He attempted one last lunging bite at the Vulpine duo. But they quickly sensed it and backflipped to dodge the bite, drew their staffs, landed on top of King RedEye's head, and plunged the tail ends of their staffs into the part of his face where the SpellStone used to be, jamming them deep into his brain. King RedEye screamed in pain before collapsing onto the floor, dying for real this time.

The vulpine duo then stepped off of the corpse of the evil beast. Fox continued to feel the major arousal from seeing Krystal single-handedly strangle the RedEye King. He then asked her, "Krystal… you mind if… well… if we…"

Krystal smiled. "Go on. Don't be shy."

"Well, I thought that seeing you strangle the RedEye King really turned me on, so I was wondering if maybe we could have sex?"

The scantily-clad warrior princess walked over to Fox, swaying her hips back and forth in the process, then wrapped her loving arms around her handsome hero and wiggled her hips. "I've been waiting for you to ask me that for a long time…"
