Dante's POV

"What?" I scoffed looking at Nathan, looking around to make sure Sam wasn't around. Had Nathan learned nothing from my time with Lulu?

"You heard me." Nathan sighed, clearly he didn't care.

"Did you learn nothing from me? You know, when I cheated on Lulu with Valerie? It's the worst mistake I've ever made to date. That's the moment I lost Lulu, we were never the same after what I did. I ruined my marriage, why would you want to do the same thing?" I hissed at him, in complete disbelief.

"Dante, she's unlike Maxie in every way. I can't help myself..." Nathan trailed off, his priorities clearly weren't straight.

"How could you do this to Maxie, Georgie and James? Maybe I'm a hypocrite for saying this but, you need to come clean to Maxie. Keeping it a secret is only going to make things worse. I'm not going to keep this a secret from Sam, either you tell Maxie or we will." Dante shook his head, he hardly recognized Nathan anymore.

"It's just...Maxie-" Nathan started.

"Maxie's a good woman, Nathan. You had no business cheating on her!" Dante snapped, throwing his hands up in frustration.

"I know she's a good woman but, maybe she just isn't what I want anymore." Nathan shrugs.

"Maybe you should have thought of that before you married her or had a baby with her. Maxie is in love with you, you're slowly killing her. Why do you have the right to break her down like that? It's not fair to Maxie. Alright?" Dante was done trying to be nice about it.

"You're right about one thing." Nathan bitterly chuckled.

"What's that?" Dante snapped in response.

"You are a hypocrite." Nathan turned on his heel and walked out of Dante's house.

"Honey, are you coming to bed?" Dante heard Sam calling from upstairs.

"I'll be right up, I'm just locking the door!" Dante called up to her, twisting the lock and jogging up the steps.

"Is everything okay?" Sam asked, as Dante settled into bed beside her.

"No. No, I'm not." Dante sighed, knowing he had to tell her.

"What's wrong?" Her doe brown eyes glanced up at him.

"Nathan stopped by to tell me that he's been cheating on Maxie." Dante didn't see the need in beating around the bush.

"WHAT?" Sam gasped, putting a hand up to her mouth in shock.

"With Valerie." Dante added with a nod.

"So you were trying to tell him what you went through with Lulu and he chose to ignore you?" Sam suggested.

"Called me a hypocrite." Dante agreed.

"Poor Maxie..."

Lulu's POV

After we said goodbye to Maxie, Georgie and James we got into the car with our bags getting ready to head back to the penthouse.

"I saw Aunt Maxie crying. Is everything okay?" Charlotte asked as I rolled the windows up.

"Can you keep a secret?" I asked, fixing my hazel eyes on my daughter.

"Better than anyone." Charlotte agreed.

"Maxie thinks that Nathan's seeing someone behind her back." I sighed, knowing she wouldn't tell anyone.

"I didn't want to say anything but, about a week ago I saw Uncle Nathan kissing someone that wasn't Aunt Maxie. I didn't want to say anything unless I was completely off base. I don't want to cause any pain to Aunt Maxie." Charlotte made a revelation, confirming my suspicion.

"Who was he kissing? You're not in trouble, I promise Maxie won't hold it against you." I squeezed my daughters hand.

"Aunt Valerie." She promptly answered.

"I figured as much, my heart really hurts for her right now. It really does. I remember how hurt I felt when Dante cheated on me with Valerie, I never really trusted him after that. As usual I ran to Johnny because I was hurt, I wish I'd realized that Johnny had been the one sooner. My life would have been much more enjoyable. It's not that I regret Rocco or my time with Dante before he cheated...it's just that I wasn't really happy. Dante made me happy for awhile but, that's it. Dante was a... distraction from Johnny. I love Rocco I do but, I will never be with Dante again." I frowned at the news, knowing I had to tell Maxie.

"Hey...Dante's calling you." Charlotte handed me my phone.

"Huh...weird." as I'd just been talking about him, I answered and put the Bluetooth on.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's me. I need to talk to you." Dante heaved a sigh, I immediately knew what he was talking about.

"Nathan's cheating on Maxie. Isn't he?" I asked, point blank. Dante would have no reason to lie to me.

"Yes. With Valerie. I tried to get him to see reason and to come clean with Maxie but, he won't do it. I don't know why, because out of anyone I know the consequences. I loved it! I mean, he was there for all of that! Lulu, this is my karma. This is what I get for thinking with my dick." Dante was clearly blaming himself.

"Dante, this isn't on you. It's on Nathan. Are you going to tell Maxie or do you want me to? Either way she's going to find out, I'm not keeping this from her." I knew there had to be a reason Dante had told me.

"I called you because I think that she should hear it from you. I'm not good with Maxie, especially not an emotional Maxie. The only person I've told is Sam." Dante sighed, rubbing his temples.

"Charlotte saw Nathan kissing Valerie, too." I told him, earning a groan.

"You know, if Maxie wasn't what he wanted I wish he hadn't of married her or had a baby with her! Maxie's a good person. Maybe I sound like a hypocrite but, I'm pissed! I don't even recognize Nathan anymore!" Dante continued to go off.

"I wish Matt would just get out of prison, he wouldn't have ever done this to Maxie. You don't sound like a hypocrite, you sound like someone who tried to help a friend. You care about people Dante, you're not a bad person because of one mistake. The thing is you didn't continue to make the same thing, Nathan has. That's the difference. Get some rest, you sound exhausted.' The last thing Lulu wanted was for Dante to blame himself.

"I might be able to help...I'm gonna go down to Pentonville tomorrow to try and work something out. Maxie deserves some happiness, she's always putting herself on the back burner. Thank you, I really appreciate you saying that. You're right I am tired, I'll let you go. I'll talk to you at some point tomorrow." Dante ended the call, and Lulu loudly sighed.

"Who's Matt?" Charlotte asked.

"Matt was a boyfriend of Maxie's and a good friend of mine. Matt is in prison for killing a very crazy woman named Lisa Niles, she was attacking people that night left and right. Personally, I don't think he should be serving time. You know, in the long run Matt was protecting everyone." I shrugged.

"If he would make Maxie happy, I'm all for that. It's been a long time since she's been happy. You waking up was the first time she's smiled a real smile in a really long time." Charlotte muses as the drive into the Port Charles City limits.

"Let's hope Dante can work something out. What costumes did you get us?" I smiled, I trusted her enough to get all of us costumes.

'The Addams Family! You're Morticia, Johnny's Gomez and I'm Wednesday! Rocco is going to be Pugsley whether he likes it or not. I always pick out Rocco's costumes." Charlotte smiled, triumphantly. Both women walked up to the penthouse, seeing Johnny waiting for them.

"Hey girls, did you two have fun?"
