Chapter 2: Mustard's New Toys
(Naboo Woods)
After a six hour drive, the bus had finally reached its destination. As soon as the doors opened Deidoro came running out and ran behind a big tree so that he could pee. Tsuyu was the next off and the rest of the villains followed after. Tsuyu opened the storage containers on the side of the bus, "Alright everyone, get your stuff and let's get moving." She said as she picked up the first duffle bag. She looked at the name on the first "This one is for Sakaki." She read a loud. The villain poked his head out from around the tree, "Still peeing over here. Can you put it to the side thank you." Tsuyu dropped Sakaki's bag on the ground next to her and grabbed bag "Alright this one is Toga, this one is for Mustard, this for Chomper, and finally Bearhead." Tsuyu finished. Moonfish was already in his costume but was sad he was not included in the handing out of bags. As they got dressed everyone noticed Mustard's bag was not only bigger, his whole costume had changed. light combat armor paired with a new gas mask plus new gas emitter. But what stood out the most was his new weapons, a Thompson submachine gun and a Mossberg 590 shotgun. Chomper looked down at his average clothes thinking how they don't protect him from anything, "We can ask for better costumes?"
"Yeah you can." Mustard happily confirmed. He looked around at his teammates who all had the same outfits as last time, "Wait. Did you all not know you can ask for better equipment?" In truth, none of them except Mustard knew they could do that but they weren't going to admit it out loud. Deidoro finally finished peeing and walked out from behind the tree, "God I needed that." The yakuza noticed Mustard and examined his new outfit, "Hey Mustard, You ever seen the movie Jin-Roh?" Before Mustard could respond, Tsuyu picked up Deidoro's bag and threw it at him, "Get dressed." Tsuyu ordered. Deidoro mumbled some curse words and starting getting dressed. After everyone was suited up, Tsuyu looked at her tablet and pulled up the directions to the targets location. She pointed straight ahead, "Our targets are in that direction so follow me." And with that the group head in the woods. The sound of crunching leaves can be heard in mass with every step they took going deeper into the forrest.
(Tartarus Monitoring Room)
As the surveillance watched the team head into the forrest, there was another task at hand that need addressing. placing bets in the deadpool. Hunter held out the plastic container and everyone started putting in their bets.
Abdullah - $100 on Chomper
Hiroshi - $100 on Chomper
Yuji - $100 on Deidoro
Cherry - $100 on Chomper
Togi - $100 on Mustard
Hunter - $100 on Himiko
"Oh I am totally winning this time." Cherry said cracking open a beer. Abdullah shoved a slice of pizza in his mouth. He signaled his friends to give him a beer by waving his hands frantically in the air. Cherry grabbed him a beer from under her desk, "We need a make a beer run, I'm running low." She tossed Abdullah a beer but the can bounced out of his hands and hit the floor cracking open. Beer sprayed out covering a nearby surge protector. Sparks came flying out before all the TVs and some of the monitors. Togi got up from his chair, "Lady and Gentlemen, We are so fired." Everyone started checking systems and connections, "I still got GPS tracking." Hunter confirmed. "We still got satellite view. How's the com link?" Hiroshi asked Yuji. "Froppy can you hear me?" No response. "Shit. Lets hope she doesn't try contacting us."
(Naboo Woods)
"For the last time no." Tsuyu said firmly, "Come on let us have juice boxes." Chomper begged. Toga chimed in, "This might be are last day on earth, killed by the enemy and our bodies left to rot. All your left to think about is why? Why didn't I give them that juice box." Tsuyu knew she was being sarcastic but Moonfish strated to cry at Toga's scenario, "I want a juice box before I die." Despite being a monster, Tsuyu couldn't resist the child like tears of the cannibal and gave in pulling several juice boxes out of her backpack, "All I have is apple." She gave them all their juice which they immediately starting sucking down. Bearhead wanted one too but decided he'll get one later after the job is done, especially since someone was been watching them since they got off the bus. At first he thought it was just some animal but it's been several minutes now and he knows it's still watching. A snap of a twig makes him stop and looks over his shoulder. He eyes slowly gaze over the direction it was coming from. Deidoro notices Bearhead had stopped and was staring off into the distance, "You see something?" The yakuza asked but Bearhead didn't respond. The whole group noticed Bearhead's strange behavior and stopped, "Bearhead." Tsuyu said. He didn't move but he responded, "Someone is following us.'
Everyone pulled out there weapons and prepared for whatever was in those woods. Another snapping sound made Bearhead completely turn around. Another twig snapping, this time closer than before. Mustard couldn't wait to finally use his new exciting weapon. From behind a tree a deer's head popped out and everyone sighed in relief, "It's just a deer." Chomper said. "Let's get moving everyone." Tsuyu ordered but while everyone else started moving, Bearhead and the deer were staring into eachothers eyes. He knew something wasn't right with that deer but before he could anything Tsuyu called him, "Bearhead." He looked at her. "Let's go or that bomb is gonna go off in your neck." Bearhead looked back at the deer but it was gone. The bear villain slowly started walking but he was carefully watching the forrest as he caught up with the rest. Himiko was actually very happy seeing a deer, she always thought they were cute and majestic. She also appreciated the nice weather here then in the Philippines where she felt like she was melting constantly from the heat. She really wished she would have known about the equipment requests, she looked down at her old costume she had on and thought it was time for an upgrade. Moonfish on the other hand was thinking opposite and honestly didn't care but the was Mustard was obsessed with his new gear was getting on the cannibal's nerves.
"Are we there yet?" Chomper groaned. Tsu was having none of that, "Chomper, were almost there so don't even start doing that. Your a damn adult so act like it." Chomper stopped talking and kept his head down. Deidoro started laughing at the plant villain and mocked him, "It's so sad seeing a grown ass man being talked down like he's a 5 year old. Come on man talk back, show some balls." He pleaded. Chomper ignored him and so did everyone else. "You're all cowards. Since I'm the only one willing to speak I'll ask a real question. Why are we doing this? I have no problem wiping terrorists or people prancing around as heroes off this earth but this feels like something pro heroes would do, unless there's something that isn't supposed to be there. So tell me hero, what are we really after?" Tsuyu didn't answer him and just kept walking. "You don't have to answer me, I know I'm right." Deidoro smirked and held his head up high. Nothing in this world could bring down his mood. Tsuyu suddenly stopped and so did the team, "Were here." She said as she signaled them to crouch and take cover. They were right on the edge of a clearing where the cabin was. Tsuyu tapped on her earpiece, "Control I need confirmation to move in and begin assualt." She waited for a response but there was only silence.
"I need confirmation that this is the right cabin." She clarified but no answer. She was about to ask again when Mustard got up and walked out into the clearing. not even aiming, Mustard fired into the cabin. Thirty rounds of .45 ACP shredding through wooden walls and glass windows. When the clip was empty he ripped it out and shoved in another and resumed firing. Tsuyu came charging out from behind the trees, "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?" She said as he empties another clip. "Sorry I couldn't wait anymore. I really wanted to shoot this at something and this was the perfect opportunity." He loaded in another clip but Tsuyu stood infront of him, "WE DON'T EVEN KNOW IF LUV IS RAGE IS IN THERE." She shouted at him when the door opened and out walked a giant shark woman wearing only her underwear. She had six bullet holes in her chest that were bleeding heavily. She slowly walked up to them until she was a foot away from the two. With her big black eyes she looked down at the two who were looking up at her. She looked down at her bullet wounds, "Nice shots." She said as she started to lean foward before falling on them.
