Mizu and Happy got down to the sewers where she could smell Lucy. They made it just in time to see Everlue twisting their friend's arm about to snap it in half. Happy flew over to her and his wings disappeared, and they fell into the sewer water. Mizu cringed in disgust and jumped out of the water, while her brother stayed in the water.

Everlue: "What's this? Flying cat?"

Happy: "The name's Happy!"

mizu: "Happy, I wouldn't stay in there if I were you."

Happy: "But the water feels so good."

Mizu: "That's sewer water, Happy. The warm feeling...is pee and probably poop."

Happy shrieks as he jumps out of the water, disgusted. Lucy held out one of her gate keys.

Lucy: "Looks like the tables have turned. But if you let me keep the book, I'll think about going easy on you. Although I'm tempted to give you a good smack."

Everlue: "Oh, a celestial wizard. But for a reader, you seem to be a bit deficient in your turns of phrase. The tables have turned implies that the weaker party has rallied to claim victory, but there is no way you and that child could ever defeat me and my diver magic! Boyoyoy!"

He then dived into the ground, and they looked shocked by this.

Happy: "So he does that using magic?"

Lucy and Mizu cringed in disgust as they could smell Happy.

Lucy: "Do you not smell yourself."

Mizu held her nose and nodded her head. Her brother looked at her shocked and smelled himself. Everlue appeared not far from Lucy and tried to snatch the book from her hand, but she quickly held the book out of his reach. She flew into the air as Everlue came out from under the ground.

Lucy: "Look, I know the whole story now. It's a horrible adventure novel about a trashy little character named Duke Everlue!"

Happy and Mizulooked at Lucy shocked while Everlue looked annoyed.

Everlue: "I don't know that I'd call the protagonist trashy, but yes, the story itself is crap! And to think it was written by the great Kemus Zaleon!"

He went back underground and reappeared above Lucy. She dodged his attack as she glared at him.

Everlue: "Inexcusable!"

Lucy: "I can't believe your arrogance! You forced him to write it!"

Everlue: "Arrogant? Moi? The world doesn't begin to apply. To tell my story is an honor! No matter what circumstances!"

Lucy: "Then why did you have to blackmail him into it?!"

Mizu looked at Lucy shocked and confused.

Mizu: "Blackmail?"

Everlue: "What's the big deal? He just needed some extra encouragement to take the job."

Mizu glared at the man, for a seven-year-old, she's scary when she gets angry.

Everlue: "Any fool would have jumped at the chance to have me as their muse. But he dared to say no, so I gave him the added inspiration in the form of an ultimatum. Write the novel or his family would be stripped of their citizenship."

They all gasped as they looked at Everlue shocked and upset. Mizu didn't believe Everlue had that type of power to strip someone of their citizenship. She might be young, but she knew what that meant.

Mizu: "But then none of them would be able to join any of the guilds and make a living! There is no way you hold that type of power over the people of Fiore!"

Everlue: "Oh, but I do! I have the power to do anything!"

He dove into the ground again and reappeared in front of Mizu. Her eyes widened as she jumped back as he went to attack her. Lucy looked worried for Mizu, knowing her father would MURDER her if his daughter got hurt.

Everlue: "I got him to write it didn't I? But I didn't like his attitude, so I decided he would do best writing from a prison cell! Boyoyoy! He went on and on about being a brilliant novelist who would never give in to threats but in the end, I got what I wanted!"

Mizu glared at the creep as fire wrapped around her fists.

Lucy: "I can't believe you'd go that far just to boost your stupid ego! He was in solitary confinement for three years! Don't you know how hard that must have been!?"

Happy and Mizu looked at Lucy shocked, but then Mizu looked back at Everlue pissed off. She could never imagine what Zaleon's family went through, thinking for those three years, that he probably didn't love them and loved writing more than his family.

Everlue: "Perhaps it took him that long to appreciate me. Boyoyoyoy!"

Lucy: "You're wrong! More like he couldn't bear to spread your lies! But he had to satisfy your vanity. He knew that if he didn't write your character as a heroic champion of justice, then his family would suffer!"

Everlue paused as he looked at Lucy shocked and confused.

Everlue: "Tell me. How exactly do you know all this?"

Lucy; "It's all right here in black and white."

She held up the book and Everlue looked at her shocked and confused.

Everlue: "What!? I've read that book from cover to cover and Kemu Zaleon isn't isn't in it."

Lucy: "Well, yeah, if you read it normally, there is no mention of him. But I know something you don't. Long before he was an author, he was a wizard!"

Everlue frowned as he looked at her shocked and pissed off.

Everlue: "What did he do!?"

Lucy: "After he finished the book he gathered all his remaining strength and cast a spell on it."

Everlue's eyes widened as he looked shocked and pissed off.

Everlue: "What a dirty trick! He turned a book about a great man like me into a hatchet job!? The never of that fool!"

They looked at him annoyed that he was making it all about himself again.

Mizu: "Get over yourself, you ugly fat man!"

Everlue looked at the seven-year-old shocked and annoyed.

Lucy: "He indeed wrote about all the pain and torture you put him through! But the chapters of what you did to him are only a small part of the book! Its secret has nothing to do with you!"

They looked at her shocked.

Happy: "Tell us Lucy!"

Everlue: "What the devil do you mean?!"

Mizu: "Like we will tell you anything, you ugly old man!"

Everlue glared at her again, pissed off that she was calling HIM ugly.

Lucy; 'We're not going to give the book back to you Duke Everlue! Cause it was never really yours to begin with!"

She hid the book behind her before pulling out one of her keys.

Lucy: "Open! Gate of the Giant Crab! Cancer!"

A bright light appeared under Lucy and out came the celestial spirit from her gate key. Happy and Mizu grinned, getting excited.

Happy: "A giant crap! Oh yeah! Nothing says I'm going to kick your butt like a crab with razor claws and tough guy sunglasses!"

Mizu giggled and nodded her head.

Cancer: "Hey, Lucy, how would you like your hair done today, baby?"

Mizu and Happy stopped dancing and looked at the celestial spirit shocked and confused.

Happy: "What!?"

Mizu: "A haircut?"

Lucy: "I don't need styling. I need help. It's that guy! Take care of Baldy over there!"

She pointed over at Everlue, who looked to be freaking out. Happy and Mizu looked annoyed.

Cancer: "Whatever you say, baby."

Happy: "Oh, so he just makes the bad guys look cooler before they kill us, that's useful. Yeah, you should send him back Lucy."

Lucy: "I should send you back!"

Mizu: "What's up with him calling you baby? Are you two dating?"

Lucy cringes as Happy starts to snicker. Just then, to their shock and horror, Everlue pulled out a golden key as well.

Everlue: "Open! Gate of the Maiden! Virgo!"

Happy: "He's using your trick, Lucy!"

Suddenly the giant maid from before came from the ground.

Virgo: "Did I hear my master summon me?!"

Everlue: "Virgo! Fetch me that book!"

Mizu held up her fists as fire wrapped around them, ready for a fight. But they all froze and gasped as they saw Natsu on top of Virgo.

Mizu; "DADDY!?"

Natsu: "Yeah?'

Everlue: "What is the meaning of this!?"

Lucy: "What are you doing up there?!"

Natsu; "Well, I saw her getting up, so I jumped on her, and then all of a sudden I ended up here!"

They looked at him shocked.

Lucy: "So you grabbed hold of her inside the house!? But that means...you must have passed through the spirit gate with her! That's impossible!"

Natsu: "What the heck do I do now!?'

Lucy: "Finish what you started!'

Everlue: "Virgo, clean up this rubbish!"

Virgo: "As you wish master!"

Natsu jumped off of Virgo and landed next to his daughter. He smirked and got into a fighting stance. Mizu snickered and copied her father.

Natsu: "No I'm fired up! Ready sweetheart?"

She smirked and nodded her head. They put their hands together in front of their mouths.

Natsu/Mizu: "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!"

Flames came out of their mouths as they went towards Virgo and crashed right into her, causing her to get thrown back and slam into the wall. Mizu cheered and jumped into her father's arms. They hugged each other as Lucy took care of Everlue.

Lucy: "You dirty little mole man!"

She grabbed her whip and wrapped it around Everlue, to stop him from going underground.

Lucy: "Can't dig yourself out of this! You make me sick!"

She tossed him up into the air and released him from the whip. Cancer then leaped up and cut off all of Everlue's hair. He landed on the ground.

Cancer: "Okay, I'm done. Does this look fabulous or what, baby?"

Natsu: "Oh yeah, way to go crab man! Wait...baby?"

Mizu giggled as she held onto her father. She pointed at Lucy.

Mizu; "She's dating the giant crab man!"

Natsu looked shocked by this, while Lucy looked embarrassed. Suddenly the entire mansion shook and began to crumble. And before they knew it, the entire mansion fell apart. Lucy gasped in shock and horror as Natsu grinned.

Natsu: "I like your style. Out with a bang. You are going to fit in at Fairy Tail!"

Lucy whined and looked upset about this.

Happy; "But aren't we supposed to NOT destroy stuff?"

Mizu: "That seems boring."

Natsu laughed and nodded his head. Agreeing with his daughter. It DID seem boring. They quickly left before anyone could show up.

The group got back to Kaby's house and handed him the book. He looked at them shocked and confused.

Kaby: "But I requested the book to be destroyed. Why on Earth are you bringing it back to me completely unscathed?"

Lucy: "If you want to burn it, I'd rather you do it yourself."

Kaby: "I most certainly will burn this trash. I never wanted to see it again."

Lucy: "I completely understand why you feel the way you do about this book, Kaby. You want to protect your father's legacy. Because you are Zaleon's son, aren't you?"

Natsu, Mizu, and Happy looked at her shocked by this. Kaby sighed and nodded his head.

Kaby: "Yes that's true.'

They looked at him shocked. Natsu put his daughter down and she clung to his legs.

Lucy: "Have you read it yourself?"

Kaby: "No, I... I could never bring myself to do it. My father told me it was garbage."

Natsu and Mizu looked at Kaby shocked and upset. She clung to her father's legs tighter.

Natsu: "You were just going to burn it!?"

Kaby: "I was."

Natsu gasped as he grabbed the front of Kaby's shirt and glared at him. Mizu looked up at her father shocked and worried.

Natsu: "Without even bothering to see what's inside!? Some of us would kill for that kind of memory!"

Mizu freaked out, clung to her father's legs, and tried to pull him back. Lucy grabbed Natsu and pulled him off of Kaby.

Lucy: "Natsu! Stop it! Let him explain himself!"

Mizu clung to her father's leg and nodded her head. Natsu sighed and nodded his head as he picked up his daughter and hugged her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his neck.

Kaby: "Please. The book caused my family great heartache and shame. It was 31 years ago."

He then told them what happened those three years his father was gone, until he suddenly came back. He felt nothing but pain, anger, and betrayal for his father, and he said some cruel things to him.

Kaby: "Not long after my father passed away. However, the anger and betrayal I felt towards him lived on. But as the years passed by me, that anger slowly turned to remorse, and now...it's too late to ask for his forgiveness. So, I decided to make amends by destroying the final work that had caused him so much unhappiness. This is the only way. The only way I can preserve his legacy."

He lit a match.

Kaby: "I'm sure that this is what he would want."

Lucy: "No you're wrong! Kaby look!"

The fire on the match blew out as a purple light appeared from the book. The others looked shocked and confused.

Kaby: "What is happening?"

Lucy: "A spell has been cast on this book. It's the work of the wizard Kemus Zaleon. Or shall I say Zekua Melon!"

Kaby looked shocked as the words in the book were rearranged. The title changed to Dear Kaby.

Kaby: "Dear Kaby?"

Lucy: "That's right. This book is his letter to you. Disguised behind a spell that rearranged all the words, so no one else could read t."

The book opened up and all the letters flew out of the book and flew around the room. Mizu clung to her father as she looked around the room amazed.

Lucy: "He didn't stop writing because he was ashamed. He stopped because he had finished his masterpiece. A novel containing everything he ever wanted to say to his beloved son! And when you read it the way he intended it's easily his best book ever! And now that the spell's been broken, you can read it for yourself."

The letters flew back into the book as it closed. It stopped glowing as it fell into Kaby's hands. He hugged the book to his chest as he teared up.

Kaby: "Thank you, father. I swear that I will never let any harm come to this book."

Natsu: "Well I guess we won't be collecting that reward."

Lucy looked at Natsu shocked and confused.

Lucy: "Huh!?"

Mizu: "We were supposed to destroy it. We didn't finish the job."

Natsu smiled and nodded his head as he patted his daughter's head.

Kaby: "Even so let me do something."

Lucy: "Yeah, it's not our fault, he decided not to burn the book after we got it back for him!"

Happy: "Lucy don't be so greedy."

Mizu: "Yeah, you're ruining what was a touching moment!"

Lucy whined about rent, but that didn't sway them at all.

Natsu: "I think it's time we all go home. That means you to Mr. Melon. Go back home."

Kaby and Lucy looked at Natsu shocked as they walked out of the house. They were walking down the driveway as Lucy was complaining about the money.

Lucy: "Unbelievable. Who in tier right mind would turn down two million jewels?!"

Mizu: "Smart people to know that the client doesn't have two million jewels."

Natsu snickered and nodded his head.

Mizu: "Plus, it's not like that matters anyway. We would still have taken the job."

Happy: "I don't know about Lucy."

Lucy glared at Happy, pissed off that he thinks she would care about the price.

Lucy: "Of course I would have!"

Happy: "Sure, greedy."

She looked at Happy annoyed as Mizu laughed at her brother's joke. Lucy then looked over at Natsu.

Lucy: "By the way. The house...how did you know that it wasn't theirs?"

Natsu: "Because they smelled like some other house."

Mizu: "Seemed pretty obvious."

Lucy: "Sure to you three animals. Not me. I was still lost in the clouds from reading that book!"

Natsu looked over at Lucy with a smirk on his face.

Natsu: "I got you all figured out, Lucy."

She looked at him confused.

Lucy: "What do you mean?'

Natsu: "All those papers I found on the desk in your place. You're writing a novel, aren't you?"

She looked at him shocked as Mizu grinned looking excited.

Happy: "Oh, so that's why Lucy is such a bookworm!"

Lucy: "Promise, you won't tell anybody about that okay!?"

Mizu: "Why not?"

Lucy: "Because I'm a horrible writer. If anybody read my stuff I'd die of embarrassment!"

Natsu: "Don't worry. Nobody's gonna read it."

Lucy: "Yeah, that doesn't make me feel any better."

They were now walking through a swamp, trying to make their way back to the guild without needing to use a train. Natsu was carrying his daughter and son as Lucy's celestial spirit carried her.

Horologium: "I don't know about this, guys. Are you sure we're going the right way? she asks."

Natsu: "Happy says this is the way home, so this is the way we're going is what I answer."

Mizu giggled at her father's joke.

Happy: "Have some faith. I'm a cat. I have a great sense of smell. My nose will lead us home."

Horologium: "What does smell have to do with direction? She asks quite haughtily."

Natsu: "Why don't you do your walking for a while?"

Horologium: "Because I'm tired. She groans exhaustedly."

Just then they heard and saw movements coming from behind a bush. Natsu gently placed His children down and jumped into the air.

Natsu: "Who's there!?"

He jumped behind the brush and attacked the person behind it.

Happy: "You can take him, Natsu!"

Mizu giggled and nodded her head. To their shock, Gray and Natsu jumped out from the bush. They looked at Gray shocked and confused.

Happy: "It's Gray!"

Mizu: "What are you doing in your underwear?"

Gray: "Trying to find a bathroom."

Natsu: "Why would you strip down before you found one? And who the heck ever heard of a bathroom in the middle of the forest?!"

Gray: "I wanted some privacy. I didn't expect an idiot to barge in."

Natsu: "I didn't barge in!"

They butted heads and started fighting each other. Lucy's spirit left and she stood next to Mizu and Happy as they looked at the two boys annoyed.

Lucy: "They're so childish."

Happy: "She says to the cat!"

They soon stopped fighting and Lucy looked over at Gray.

Lucy: "So you're on your way back from a job?"

Gray: "Yeah. There is a shortcut through these woods that will get you back to town in no time."

Happy grinned and nodded his head as he looked over at Lucy all smug.

Happy: "See? I told you so!"

Lucy: "Yeah, well if your nose is so great, then how come you didn't know Gray was right in front of us?"

Happy: "There are some things you don't want to smell."

Gray glared at Happy pissed off.

Gray: "What did you say!?"

Natsu: "I agree. So go on home and we'll smell you later,"

Gray: "Fine I will, and unless you want trouble, you should too."

They looked at him shocked and confused.

Mizu: "Why do you say that?"

Gray: "Cause Erza is due back any time now."

Natsu and Happy looked at Gray shocked and scared, but Mizu grinned and got excited to see her aunt.

Lucy: "The Erza!? Whoa!"

Happy: "Yup, she's the most powerful woman in all of Fairy Tail!"

Lucy: "I can't wait to meet her! But you know I've never seen a picture of her in Sorcerer Weakly or anything. What is she like?"

Gray/Natsu: "Scary."

Lucy: "Huh?"

Gray: "Wild animal."

Natsu: "A vile beast."

Happy: "More like a full-on monster."

The boys then pictured a huge monster destroying a town.

Mizu: "She's not that big!"

Gray: "Well, we can all agree that she is definitely that scary. Well, maybe a little scarier. Like I said we should get back."

Natsu; "Crap! Let's get moving!"

Suddenly there was a giant explosion and the ground under them broke and they fell. Natsu grabbed his daughter and buffed her fall. They all coughed.

Gray: "What now?!"

The dust cleared and they noticed how Happy wasn't with them anymore. Natsu and Mizu started to freak out.

Natsu: "Happy!"

Mizu: "Brother!"

They soon heard Happy and looked over the cliff to see a group of wizards trying to cook Happy alive. Mizu gasped as she clenched her fists.

Natsu: "Hold it right there!"

The group of wizards looked up at them and Happy looked glad to see them.

Happy: "Thank goodness! Now I'm not going to taste weird!"

Natsu: "That's our friend you're trying to roast, buddy! Sorry, but you guys are going to have to make different plans for lunch!"

Lucy: "You are all wizards. What guild are you with?"

Man: "I'm not telling! Get them!"

They started to attack, and they jumped down the cliff. Natsu was surrounded by a ball of sand. Mizu looked worried for her father.

Mizu; "DADDY!"

Gray: "Mizu, your father is fine! Go, help Lucy with Happy."

Mizu looked unsure but nodded her head. She ran over to Lucy as she untied Happy. She sees a giant chicken about to attack them.

Mizu: "Fire Dragon Roar!"

A blast of fire shot out of her mouth and hit the chicken. Lucy sighed in relief as she untired Happy. Just then some guy started to read Lucy's fortune.

Man: "You'll see someone special, but the stars point to great trouble with water and women."

Lucy: "You're telling my fortune?"

Mizu frowned, getting bored of this guy.

Mizu: "How is that a power? That's stupid and lame."

The man looked at her shocked and hurt. Gray then punched the guy in the face.

Man: "Where did these brats come from anyway!?"

Just then Natsu got out of the sand ball and spit out sand. He looked at them annoyed for getting sand in his mouth.

Natsu: "Fire Dragon Roar!"

He shot out a blast of fire at the guy and another explosion went off. After that, they managed to capture all the wizards and tie them to a tree. One of them started to mumble something.

Man: "Lulla."

Lucy: "Huh? What's Lulla?"

Man: "Lullaby is."

They looked at him confused as he didn't finish his sentence."

Natsu: "Huh?"

Gray: "Lullaby?"

Happy: "Incoming!"

Just then a giant shadow of a hand appeared from under the tree, and it grabbed the group of wizards. Taking them with it as it pulled the tree down. They looked shocked and confused.

Mizu: "W... What was that?"

Natsu; "Who was that?"

Gray: "Well whoever it was they're fast. I can't even sense their presence anymore."

Natsu: "But what could this mean?"

They all looked confused and didn't know what had just happened.
