The next day...

Ben arrived back in the village. The way back home was faster than the way there. Well, he has more magic power now and he drove a lot faster because he wanted to try his new magic soon.

He stayed in the capital for the night because he wanted to sleep in a hotel after sleeping in a coffin last night. Besides, he also needed to buy some items for his sisters and he also wanted to eat good food.

There was no trouble worth mentioning on his way back to the village though. The only problem was he didn't have any partner now, so it is very boring. So this truly was the end of his mission.

His sisters were very excited after he returned to the village. Too bad he didn't bring any souvenirs back from the forest. As if he was going to give them skeletons or ruins as souvenirs. But he still brought them some goods that he bought from the capital.

Ben did report what he found in the forest to Roubaul. He never hid something like this from the old man. Besides, he needed the old man's help to read the books about Curses because they contained old language.

"You're very lucky aren't you? Devil Slayer Magic and books about Curses. Will you start to hunt demons now?" Roubaul asked.

"Nah. I won't bother myself to hunt them. I'll just fight them if they attack me. Just like the dragons, it's not like all demons are my enemy." Ben said.

"Well, do what you want to do. So, what will you do about the books on Curses?" Roubaul asked.

"I'll learn them, of course." He answered.

"And you need my help, right? I figured as much." Roubaul asked, sighing.

Roubaul didn't like Curses because it was powered by someone's negative emotions. But he knew Ben would still try to learn it even though he knew about it. It would be useless to try and stop Ben, so he will teach him. He knew that Ben was responsible, so he had nothing to worry about.

"When do you want to learn?" Roubaul asked.

"After I try my Devil Slayer Magic and have some understanding of it. I don't want to learn too many things at once because it will slow my progress down." Ben explained.

"Alright, I will learn about these books then. I'm also very curious about the Curses that demons use." Roubaul said.

"Alright, I will go to sleep now. This mission wasn't difficult, but very tiring." Ben said.

He then left the guild hall and returned to his home. His sisters waited for him with sleepy faces. They missed him and now want to sleep together even though the bed was small.

He couldn't say no, so they slept together on the small bed. Fortunately Wendy was small and the cats were even smaller. So they can use the bed even though it was narrow.

The next day...

Ben immediately wanted to try his new magic, but the girls pouted because they wanted to play with him. He had been gone for a few days, so they didn't have time to play with him, especially Wendy and Carla who had less time to play with him than Bella.

Ben could only sigh and comply with their demand to play with them. The new magic won't go anywhere because it's in his body already. His sisters need his attention more than the new magic.

They head to Clover Town and play there for a full day. They also met some of their ex-students who still stayed in Clover Town. The girls were very happy today and Ben was overjoyed to see them happy.

Ben can finally try his Sun Devil Slayer Magic the next day. He tested it out on the mountain behind the village to avoid any accidents. It would be very bad if the magic went out of control and destroyed the village.

Ben started with the most basic thing. He used basic spells, or more specifically, elemental manipulation which was generating the elements on his hands. He tried all of the sun's elements to see the differences with his Dragon Slayer Magic.

The clearest difference was the color of each element. All of his Devil Slayer Magic's elements have a reddish color. The fire, plasma and sun become even redder than when he used Dragon Slayer Magic.

The other difference is the power. Ben can already feel that the Devil Slayer Magic is weaker than Dragon Slayer Magic. At least it is weaker than Dragon Slayer Magic in it's base form.

It doesn't mean that Devil Slayer can't be as strong or stronger than Dragon Slayer Magic. Slayer Magic is magic that will get stronger if used on the correct targets. Devil Slayer for demons and Dragon Slayer for dragons.

The proof of Devil Slayer Magic's high potential was Midas' ability to slay many dragons in the past. Even though his element was strong, but that still means that demons can be stronger than dragons and that also applied to their magic.

Ben believes that there's no weak magic, there are only weak users. All of it will depend on the users' ability to optimize their magic potential. Even the most basic transformation magic can be used to kill people if used correctly.

Ben kept using the basic spells to get used to the magic first. It is very easy to use the basic spells because of his high mastery over his Sun Dragon Slayer Magic. It is like a high school student learning kindergarten lessons.

He used the basic spells for an hour to reach their highest potential. Also, he started to understand the magic after an hour of training the basics. He wanted to make sure his basics were strong.

Then Ben tried some real spells, not just basic elemental manipulation. But he doesn't know any Sun Devil Slayer spells, so Ben used his Sun Dragon Slayer spells with Devil Slayer Magic power.

Of course, the first real spell he used was the roar. He didn't know if it would work because demons don't roar like dragons. But surprisingly, it worked. He can use similar roar spells as dragon roar with every element.

"Hmm, calling it Sun Devil Roar doesn't sound right. I need to change the name." Ben said.

Ben thought about the correct name to replace roar. He thought of a demon's characteristics to come up with the best name.

"Ugh, it's really hard to find a good replacement. Let's just go with Sun Devil Scream for now. I hope I will find a record of Devil Slayer Magic to come up with a name." Ben said as he gave up finding a name for the spell.

After that, Ben tried the other spells like Fists and Kicks. He just used those variations on his first day. It didn't sound like much, but there are 6 elements that he needed to train, so it became a lot.

Ben trained until that afternoon after he ran out of magic power. He almost fainted from magic power deficiency because he was too excited. Every new thing always made it's owner excited, as long as they like it, and Ben likes his new magic, who wouldn't?

"Let's train this until it reaches my Dragon Slayer Magic. But I will keep it a secret and only use Dragon Slayer Magic in public. This will be my trump card." Ben said to himself as he returned home.
