Ben created a few more items using the materials he bought and collected during his journey. Now he is sure he won't lose to Roubaul when it comes to making magic items. There were many books about crafting magic items in the library.
He made some new sets of clothes because he had gotten taller. They were sewed by Aiyana, of course. All his new clothes were made of normal fabric with their unique tribal designs.
Now Ben wore an unbuttoned white sleeve-less shirt and short red pants. They have colorful dragon head and claws motifs on some parts too. He also had short black sleeves on his forearms and an armband on his upper left arm.
He wanted his usual, modern design, but Aiyana insisted he wore this. So he complied with her request. She made these while he was on his journey, so he was in no position to refuse her request.
After getting some new sets of clothes, Ben modified some sets of armor. They were made by Morgbitt and are based on the size of the old demon. So they are too big even for Ben because Morgbitt was almost 3 meters high.
He modified the sizes and designs to his liking. But he doesn't fully change the magic enchanted on them. Ben kept the original enchantments, but he added some new ones to improve their powers.
Not just armor, he also modified other magic items that Morgbitt made. Most of them were too big for his use, so he needed to make them smaller. He tried to keep the original design as much as possible, but still added what he liked.
It took 2 months for him to finish modifying Morgbitt's magic items. Now they are more suitable for his use and stronger after he added better enchantments. It's just that he wouldn't use them that often because he rarely used magic items and there were too many of them.
He didn't want to sell them even though Morgbitt gave him permission to do so. They are Morgbitt's heritage, the only things he left in this world. There was no way Ben was going to give them to strangers even though they would pay for them.
"The middle of July, huh? The car will still take time to finish. Maybe it'll be finished in August, so I'll just make some new items. It's time to use this thing." Ben said as he took the meteor he found after leaving the library.
He planned to forge a new sword with this meteor. The sword that he found on his journey was good, but wasn't suitable with his power. His magic is very hot and the sword can't contain too much heat or it will break.
That's why he will use the meteor that had survived strong heat when it descended from the sky. The blueprint is ready and he has learned the most suitable spells as the enchantments. He also learned the best sword making method. Now he just needed to start working on it.
Ben started by heating the meteor up with Heat Magic. Then he keeps hammering it to remove the impurities and get the best pieces from the meteor. He dedicated a full day to it and now the meteor's size had decreased significantly.
From it's initial size of a volleyball, it was now the size of 2 tennis balls. But it was enough for Ben to make the sword he wanted, more than enough actually. There are some leftover materials that didn't have impurities, but their grades are lower, so Ben won't use them.
The next day, he started forging the sword using the method he learned. This method is slow and requires more time than other methods. But the end result will be very good and that's fine with Ben.
It took him a week to finish making the blade and it looks very strong already. Then he finished making the handle and scabbard in 2 days because they're rather intricate. He put the pieces together and finally his new sword is ready.
It is a rather large double bladed long sword. It's full length is 130 cm, and the widest part of the blade is 10 cm, which is long and wide for a sword. From 130 cm, the blade itself is 100 cm, and the handle is 30 cm.
The blade was black because the meteor was black. It is wide on it's tip and end with some bold curves along it's body. The blade is very sharp, durable and the most important thing is that it can hold very high temperatures.
The hand guard is a dragon head that is made of gold. It opens it's mouth, so the blade looks like it's tongue. It has some sharp teeth too, making it more realistic. This hand guard is the one that took the longest to make.
As for the handle, it had scaly black patterns and gold linings. It also had a small black lacrima crystal ball that is held by golden dragon claws on it's tip. The lacrima is used to store magic power to be used when he runs out of it, just like the girls' necklaces.
Ben also didn't forget about the scabbard and constructed it from wood that he found with Morgbitt. It is a black scabbard with a dragon carving made of gold plates and some gold linings. He has a lot of money, so he wants to spend it like stupid, rich people sometimes.
"Now I need to choose a name, which I'm not really good at. Well, let's just name you Pendragon, even though you're not a pen, he he." Ben said jokingly.
But then he realized his joke was really bad so he looked around to make sure no one was there. He sighed in relief to find out that he was alone and swears to never make a joke like that again.
After that, Ben tested the new sword out by using it to cut some trees in the forest. It cuts the trees like they were tofu and he can infuse it with his magic easily. Pendragon is a lot better than the sword he found before.
But he won't throw that sword away because it's still a good sword. It's just not as good as Pendragon which was made with better materials and through better methods. That sword will be used when he doesn't need Pendragon.
After testing the sword out, Ben checked out the magic car project. It progressed well and will be completed within a week. He doesn't have anything to do now, so he helps his clones work on the magic car.
With Ben's help, the project goes faster and finally finished after 5 days on August 7th. The car looked completely like a car from a movie, Light Runner from Tron Legacy. Ben is a fan of that movie and finally had the chance to make one of the vehicles from that movie.
He didn't make it in the past because he needed storage space to put things in the car. But now, he has spatial storage with endless capacity, so there's no need for storage in the car. He just needs to think of the car's usage as transportation.
The Light Runner had more capabilities than Garuda Phoenix. With more knowledge he obtained from the Magic Library, Ben can finally add some impressive abilities. Not only can it move on land, it can also fly like a plane, float like a ship and dive like a submarine, it's like James Bond's car.
Ben has a choosy motion sickness that appears on any vehicle except his car because he likes cars. So he can only ride a car his whole life. That's why he needs a car that can move on any terrain to make his life easier.
This car also has a better engine than the last one because he and A.I Chip worked on it since Garuda Phoenix was destroyed. It also has stronger defense and attack mechanisms as he has more knowledge on magic now.
Ben drove around the village with the girls to test the car out. Then he went to the town and tested the car's features out. The girls were impressed when the car flipped, elevated, and also the tires transform like in the movie.
It also attracted a lot of attention in the town as it is very eye catching. Ben is satisfied with this car after testing everything out. They return to the village after driving around for a while.
Then the next day, Ben got a job again. "A sealed demon from the Book of Zeref?"
