Ben was impressed by Phantom Lord's walking castle. It's really impressive, but now was not the right time for that, so Mira scolded him. She told him to get ready for battle before she left to warn her guild mates.

After being scolded, Ben left in the castle's direction and got ready for any confrontation. Phantom Lord must have brought their guild hall here for some reason. The reason was soon revealed when a large and long cannon appeared from the castle and was aimed at the Fairy Tail guild hall.

The Fairy Tail mages panic, but Mira calmed them down. Then she went to the front line with Erza. They are the only S-Class mages in the guild at the moment, so they have a responsibility to protect their comrades.

Erza immediately used her Requip and changed her armor into Adamantine Armor while Mira now transformed into Satan Soul: Halphas. They are getting ready to intercept Phantom Lord's Magical Convergent Cannon: Jupiter.

This cannon is known for it's immense destructive power. It is a very powerful weapon that fired a very strong compressed energy beam. If this cannon is activated, it will destroy the Fairy Tail guild and even Magnolia.

They can't let that happen, so Mira and Erza will stop the cannon. The cannon is charging up and they stood between it and their guild hall. They prepared themselves to block the powerful attack.

PSHEW*

Phantom Lord finally fired the Jupiter Cannon towards Fairy Tail. Erza stands in the front with her shields ready to block the dark beam. Mira is preparing her spell to counter the dark beam and reduce it's power.

But before the beam reached them, golden light flashed beside them. It was Ben who had his body covered in golden flame. He stood in front of the 2 women and assumed a stance. He extended his hands to the front with his palms open.

A big, golden magic circle appeared on his hands. "Dragon Slayer Secret Art! Energy Release: Solar Flare!"

Ben fired a big gold beam towards the incoming dark beam from the Jupiter Cannon.

"Wait! That's too low." Erza said in realization after noticing Ben's aim was lower than Jupiter's beam.

"Don't worry, he knows what he's doing." Mira reassured her.

PSHEW* *BOOM*

Ben's attack hit the Jupiter beam's lower half like Erza thought. But that's exactly what Ben aimed for as the beam was redirected upwards. It moved to the sky and hit nothing but air.

Countering the beam frontally would need more energy than redirecting it. If he can stop is with less effort, then Ben will choose that option. What they need to worry about is not just Jupiter's beam. So saving energy is important.

Jupiter's beam finally ended after a few seconds and Ben also stopped his spell. Erza finally realized why Ben aimed for the lower half. Mira figured it out earlier, that's why she was very calm.

Before Mira and Erza can say anything, Ben used Teleportation Magic to leave the scene. Other Fairy Tail mages were coming their way, so he decided to hide again. It's not like he didn't want to meet them, but they'll probably ask him a lot of questions, and he wants to avoid that.

As predicted, they asked Erza and Mira about him. They wanted to know who he was because they couldn't see him clearly. Erza was troubled by their questions and finally got angry then told them to stop.

"We still have enemies to fight, so focus on that." Erza said strictly.

"All you need to know right now is that he's not our enemy." Mira said with a smile.

The mages nod and don't dare ask anything else. Now they need to focus on facing Phantom Lord who has come to their front door. Makarov isn't here, but they need to fight regardless.

Everyone suddenly heard Jose's voice and he demanded that they hand Lucy over. He also demanded the person who deceived him be handed over as well. Everyone refused without any hesitation as Lucy was their comrade. They don't know who else Jose wants though.

"Fine, if that's what you want then I will grant it. Jupiter will be fired in 15 minutes with more power. I wonder if you can stop it again." Jose said as if what Ben did before was a coincidence.

Suddenly, a lot of dark, ghostly figures come out of Phantom Lord's base. They're figures that Jose summoned with his magic, Shades. The ghosts fly in the direction of the Fairy Tail mages who prepared for a fight.

But they know they can't just focus on the shades because Jupiter will be fired again. They need to find a way to stop it even though the mysterious man might stop it again. But they don't want to rely on him as this is their war.

Natsu decided to attack Jupiter by flying there with Happy's help. He attacked the cannon from outside but his attack did no damage. So he decided to attack from the inside and entered the castle.

Meanwhile, Ben looked at the situation from Fairy Tail's rooftop.

"Master Makarov isn't here, so someone needs to face Jose. Well, let's find out how strong a Wizard Saint is." Ben said, grinning with excitement.

Ben disappeared from the spot he was standing in and appeared inside Phantom Lord's castle. The distance wasn't too far away so he could reach it with teleportation. He spreads his sense to find the biggest source of magic and he found it on the top floor.

"That must be Jose." Ben said as he smirked and teleported there.

As expected, he appeared right in front of Jose who was sitting on his throne. Jose was surprised when Ben suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Who are you? You don't seem to be a Fairy Tail mage." Jose asked as he looked at the guild mark on Ben's forearm.

"I am a challenger. Jose Porla, show me your power as a Wizard Saint." Ben said smugly.

"Don't make me angry, kid! I'm here for Fairy Tail, not a stupid brat like you." Jose hollered.

"Really? I thought you came for me too. Have you changed your mind? Boring." Ben said as he transformed into Lucy and picked his nose.

Jose now realized that Ben was the one who was disguised as Lucy and pissed him off before. So he got up from his throne and looked at Ben angrily before laughing creepily.

"He he he, good, you came here yourself. Now I don't need to search all of Magnolia to find you. You want to see a Wizard Saint's power? Fine, I'll grant your request." Jose said as he unleashed his full magic power.

Ben flinched when he sensed Jose's magic power. He thought his magic power was high enough, but it's still less than Jose's. He has more than 360 thousand magic power points, that's far beyond normal S-Class mages, but it's still less than Jose.

"His magic power might be around 500 thousand if it was converted into points. Maybe that's the requirement for a Wizard-Saint level mage. Well there are 10 of them and they have different strengths based on their ranks, so I don't know for sure."

"They say the gaps on higher levels are much bigger than the lower levels. Even rank 10 and 9 of the Wizard Saints might have a very big gap, not to mention the higher ranks. Then the 4 Gods of Ishgar must be much stronger than this. Damn, it makes my blood boil." Ben said excitedly.

It's been a long time since Ben fought someone stronger than him. Although magic power isn't everything, having more magic power means they can use stronger and more spells. That means this wouldn't be an easy fight for Ben, but he is very excited now.

"I couldn't go all out in my last battle. But it seems I can and need to go all out now. Let's find out how much I've grown in 1 year." Ben said as he also releases his full magic power.

Jose was a little surprised by this and grins, "It seems you aren't just an idiot kid, but you're still an idiot for provoking me."

Ben and Jose prepare to fight for their own reasons.
