Ben, Mira and Bella head to their allied guilds after preparing a few things in their guild. They go to Lamia Scale because it's a lot closer than Blue Pegasus. The 2 guilds were in opposite directions, so it was annoying.
"Tch! Why can't they be in the same direction?" Ben asked, irritated as he drove the car.
"That's not something you can decide, you know." Mira sweat dropped.
"Well, it's just an annoyance how they are in different directions. Anyway, the priority in Lamia Scale will be talking to Jura. I will need his help to get the Wizard Saint position." Ben said.
"You want him to recommend you, right?" Mira asked.
"Yeah, if he recommends me to the Magic Council, it will be easier for me to get the position. I've refused it once before, so they might not consider me to fill the spot the 3rd master left." Ben replied.
"But they might choose you because you are from the same guild as the 3rd master." Mira pointed out.
"We can't rely on that possibility and need to have more insurance." Ben said.
"You sound as if you prepared more." Mira smirked.
"You're right. I have prepared a few more things that will certainly help me obtain this position." Ben said with a smirk.
Mira didn't know what Ben had prepared, but it was fine. She knew Ben always prepared things thoroughly if he has a plan, so there's nothing to worry about. What she needs to do is just help him when he needs it.
They finally arrive in Margaret Town where Lamia Scale was located after 3 hours. Their car couldn't be driven through the town because that might cause an accident. So they need to walk past the gate like they were normal civilians.
As abnormal people, even among the mages, the three don't need to walk and tire themselves out. Mira can fly after transforming into a demon, but she didn't do it as Bella wants to carry her. For Ben, he used his Gravity and Light Magic to fly.
Ben has researched the method to fly using his magic for a long time. He actually succeeded last year, but he never used it until his battle with Acnologia. He never used it because he never needed to although it's convenient.
Now he needs to save time so he used his Flight Magic to reach Lamia Scale's guild hall. It really reduced the amount of time to get there because they reached it in a few seconds. However, it attracted too much attention so all the mages in the building came out.
"I knew this would happen after three outsiders fly to their guild without any prior notice." Mira sighed.
The three land in front of the guild hall and all of the mages there prepare to fight. Fortunately, the tense atmosphere disappeared when some people recognize Ben's group. Lyon's group and even Jura were here, so they can recognize Ben and co immediately.
"Put your hands down! They aren't enemies." Jura ordered.
Everyone immediately put their hands down after Jura said that.
"Well, they really trust you, don't they Jura." Ben said with a smirk.
"It will be problematic if they don't. Guild mates need to trust each other." Jura replied with a smirk.
Both of them walk forward and bump fists.
"Long time no see, Ben." Jura said.
Lyon's group also came forward to greet them as well. They knew about the Tenrou Island incident, so there was no need to explain anything. Now, they are glad Ben, Mira and Bella survived.
"So, why did you come here? I'm sure it wasn't just to see us." Jura said.
"You're right. I've come here to speak to you and your guild master." Ben nodded.
"What do you want to talk about?" A wrinkly old woman asked from the back.
"Oh, Ooba Babasaama, you're here." Toby said carelessly.
"I was here from the beginning." Ooba was pissed off with his comment as she spun Toby with her finger.
Ben smiled.
"I'm here for a few reasons. The first is to tell you that I'm Fairy Tail's 4th master." He said.
Everyone was silent for a moment before they shouted, "WHAT!?"
They are surprised because they know how young Ben is. He's still 17 years old but he's now a guild master. There must be a lot of older members, but they still chose him to be the guild master.
"Wait! I guess it's not that weird considering your strength. I can you are the strongest person in Fairy Tail without Master Makarov and Gildarts. That's a good enough reason to make you the guild master." Jura said.
"Yeah, everyone in the guild said that even though I tried to refuse. I finally accepted it because they were too persistent and I'm starting to regret that decision. It's only been three days but I feel tired already." Ben groaned.
"That must be hard for you." Jura sweat dropped.
"So you came here to tell us that you're Fairy Tail's 4th master?" Ooba asked.
"Yes, we are allies, so I wanted to tell you this personally. Also, I have some other business with you but I can't mention it here. So, may I speak to you and Jura in private?" Ben asked.
"Sure, follow me. You guys, don't be rude to our guests and treat them properly!" Ooba ordered.
"Yes!" Everyone replied.
Ben then went into Ooba's office with her and Jura. Mira and Bella stay behind with the Lamia Scale mages. Lyon's group is taking care of them now while Ben discussed something with Ooba and Jura.
"So, what's this business you want to talk about?" Ooba asked.
"First, I want to find out how much you know about the Tenrou Island incident." Ben said.
Jura and Ooba were surprised, so he continued. "Don't worry, I just want to know what the Magic Council told other guilds."
Ooba and Jura look at each other before nodding, then Jura told Ben what he knows. Basically, what was spread was basically Grimoire Heart and Acnologia's attack on Fairy Tail. Nothing was said on what the Council did and didn't do there.
Ben sighed and then proceeded to tell them the whole story. Surely, the Magic Council's involvement in this incident surprised them. They never thought the Magic Council would try to disband a legal guild that way.
The story Ben told them was unbelievable as they have never had a problem with the Council, unlike Fairy Tail. But when they think about it, they realize that it's strange how the Council's ships could be there when Acnologia attacked.
"Do you want to seek revenge on the Magic Council?" Jura asked.
"If you ask that I want revenge, I do. They put us in danger and didn't even bother to help. There's nothing I want more than ripping the hearts out of those who planned it." Ben said with a intimidating tone making the two flinch.
"But I won't do it for the time being. It's not good if our guild made enemies out of them. I am a guild master, so I need to prioritize my guild. Besides, I still have a use for them, so I can't destroy them right away." Ben said with a calmer tone, relieving the two.
"That's good, young man. You shouldn't act rashly now that you are a guild master. Many lives are depending on you so you need to be careful. Sometimes we need to do what we don't want to for our guild's safety." Ooba said.
"I'll keep that in mind." Ben said with a smile.
"Ben, I don't know if it's alright to ask this. But what do you mean you have a use for them?" Jura asked.
"Well, that's the main reason for my visit. Jura, can you recommend me to be a Wizard Saint to replace Master Makarov?" Ben asked.
Once again, Ben surprised the two who never know what he is thinking. Jura covered his face.
"Let's talk about it first." He said.
