Steven stumbled blindly out of the warp pad with a grin. He jumped from the pad floated a few feet and landed casually with an even bigger grin.

"Home at last!" He said in delight, it was good to be back. Home sweet home! He had spent so much time in space that he had been worried that his muscles had begun to atrophy. But then the diamonds had explained that apparently that wasn't a thing that could happen because of his Gem DNA. Which was pretty awesome.

Steven paused, there was a nice tingling sound coming from outside on his front porch. Steven quickly walked towards the door and pushed it open. His grin very nearly fell right off of his face at the sight before him.

Connie was seated on some cheap plastic furniture playing her violin. Her eyes closed as she dramatically continued to play. The bow bouncing over the strings. Steven sat down beside her. Closing his eyes and smiling along with her. Nodding his head in delight. Connie brought her music to a screeching halt and smiled before putting her violin to the side and wrapping her arms happily around him.

"I'm okay. I don't know what that was all about. HMMM." She cleared her throat. Steven frowned and leaned forwards. Until they were almost nose to nose.

And you were acting really weird just a second ago." Steven said nervously. Connie coughed again and shook her head.

"I'm sure it's nothing. I got caught in this really weird cloud the other day while helping up at the little homeschool. A lot of the gems did too. It might be just like a cold or something." She said. Her brain did feel hot though, and strangely...damp?

Steven hummed before he quickly went back into the house. He was back in a moment with a glass of water that he pressed into her hands. She shivered at his chest. Breath hitching for a moment in her chest. Not sure why she felt so...Needful all of a sudden!

"I think you should relax here for a bit. I'm going up to little homeschool to check on everyone." Steven said nervously. Connie chuckled before shaking her head.

"If you want to. But really Steven. I'm fine. I'm sure that everything is alright." She said waving him off. Steven nodded before starting down the staircase. He took a step, jumped and landed beside his car. He left it unlocked with the keys in the sun visor. No one ever seemed to want to threaten or take his stuff. It was pretty awesome. And had been that way pretty much his entire life.

He took off in the car as Connie sighed and laid back. She heard something thump beside her and felt something nuzzle the side of her head. She chuckled and pushed Lion's head away affectionately.

"Seriously! I'm fine." She said as the lion let out a deep full throated growl. She blinked...For a moment it looked as if the massive creature's eyes had been a bright sky blue. A familiar blue. Blue Diamond shade of blue.

"Hmmm. Maybe we should worry about this a little bit." Connie said in concern as she readjusted herself on the chair.

"Uggggghhhhh...Like where am I?" Amethyst mumbled through thick lips. The gem stood up on shaky legs. She hadn't felt this bad since she last got poofed and reformed too fast. She took a step instantly lost ehr balance and fell flat on her face.

She needed to get running! Now!

She took a step before realizing something. And she had no clue why it had taken her so long to realize it!
"Why am I naked?!" She yelped before snapping her fingers. Nothing happened. "They certainly do look bouncier already." Blue Diamond said in delight. Clapping her hands together. Yellow grunted from where she stood, leaning against a pillar. "And the secret weapon? Our perfect spy?" White asked Yellow who smiled smugly.
