Chapter 45 Harry gets convinced with new presents, The Quidditch World Cup part 1

22nd August 1994, Kitchen, The Burrow nbnv

It was after dinner when Bill walks in with a big groan. Mrs. Weasley immediately asks "hard work Bill?"

Bill shakes and says "no mom I am more wondering that every ministry worker can think they can do better even if they have no experience. It is a miracle some even know the firing end of their wand. I think it is miracle if even one of them has managed to get an OWL for charms and Ancient Runes."

Mrs. Weasley, a strong supporter of the ministry says "I am sure it is not so bad Bill. I think they just wanted to be sure the wards work as it is a very important event for our magical community and the ministry."

Bill wants to disagree but knows his mother will believe what the Daily Prophet says and the Daily Prophet is controlled by the ministry or at least people who are pro ministry.

Charlie whispers something to Bill and he nods. Bill immediately get a plate full of food from his mother she kept aside for him when Mr. Weasley came home early and said that Bill will come home but will be late.

Almost an hour and a half later and two more plates of food. Bill nods to Charlie. Bill says "I go to my room as I need to be up again early tomorrow."

Charlie asks when everyone bid Bill good night if Harry can follow him. Harry nods and follows Charlie before Bill can leave the kitchen.

22nd August 1993, Bill's room, the Burrow

Charlie walks into a room and says "Harry please take a seat."

Harry takes the lone chair while Charlie keeps standing barely a minute later Bill enters the room and sits on the bed.

Bill says "Harry Potter it is fine we can finally talk with you."

Harry wonders why but says "yes it is Bill. I heard much about you from the twins, Ron and Ginny. I also heard a lot about you, Charlie, how is Nobert?"

Charlie smiles and says "I actually wanted to send Hagrid a letter or tell him personally but Norbert is a Norberta. He is actually a she. He can think about another name if he wants."

Harry give a large smile and says "I don't know if that is a good idea. Norbert or Norberta is normal. He had a very big Cerberus and what did he call him. I am not kidding he called that large and probably vicious Cerberus Fluffy."

Bill and Charlie laugh as they both know Cerberuses can become large but they are extremely loyal to their owner and the person who raised them especially if it is the same as with Hagrid and Fluffy. It is also the only creature with multiple heads that doesn't get mad at one of the other heads at least if you give three bowls of food on not just one unless it is very large that the other two heads can also eat. Technically they are illegal to have in England unless you have special permission.

Bill says "Harry I asked Charlie to bring you here as I have just one question before I really need to bed. Did you like our presents?"

Harry says "I really liked the Nundu hide leg protectors. But you didn't need to give me a dragonhide jacket. It probably wasn't cheap also I don't deserve that."

Charlie almost shouts "Harry don't deserve that you saved our little sister, our only sister of a basilisk for Merlin's shake. Harry the dragon hide jacket didn't cost me at all I work in the dragon reserve as you know. If I didn't fit I should resize itself. The resizing charm is in rune script engraved in the dragonhide. Dragonhide is perfect to have runes. Even if that didn't work I could get you one with a resizing charm in a rune that will certainly work although I don't know if I can get you one of a Chinese Fireball. The one you have was from the last adult Chinese Fireball we had. We only got children Chinese Fireball and we only make a jacket from dead dragons be it age or they are killed by other dragon's what, fortunately, rarely happens."

Bill manage to stop Charlie and says "Charlie is right Harry. You deserve it you killed the basilisk. A Basilisk is a known wizard-killer, Harry. For you to survive and save of sister is nothing short of amazing. We know our gifts cannot compare but we hope it would at least show us or appreciation and thanks for saving Ginny."

Harry says "I may have stopped the attacks but I am sure everyone would have done the same in my position."

Bill says "no they would not Harry. You went without thinking about your own safety save Ginny."

Harry says "but Ron came too."

Bill says "you are right Harry, but he didn't kill the basilisk and he was part of the reason she wrote in that cursed diary."

Harry says "I may have stopped the attacks but I couldn't do it alone. If you want to own someone you thanks I think you should thank Hermione she found out that it was a basilisk. Or Fawkes who scratched out h… it's eyes so I couldn't petrify or kill me with h…. it's gaze."

Charlie says "Harry you gotten bitten and survived. I agree that is because of Fawkes, but you already killed the basilisk and saved Ginny before Fawkes help you survive the most potent poison to wizardkind. You put your life on the line for Ginny someone you barely know."

Harry says "knew. I barely knew Ginny. I know her quite well I think. I got to know her better over the last year."

Bill smiles and says "for that we are grateful, but saving her life is much more important as if you didn't save her you didn't get the chance to know her better."

Harry shyly says "that is true I guess."

Charlie says "I hope you believe that as we got both got you a gift for your Birthday. We got much more time to think about it this time."

Harry says "no you don't need to give me more."

Bill says "yes Harry we do. Think of it as your birthday gift as it is partially that anyway. Yes, we also give you it because of saving Ginny and make her happy. We maybe wouldn't get as far if the chamber didn't happen but we think you deserve this. I promise you this if you accept this next year we would give you a normal gift just for your birthday nothing more nothing less even if you save our whole family."

Harry sighs. He just needed to save Ginny as she could be a good friend behind the fangirl things that he suspected did happen. He couldn't let her die and know he got this. He thinks 'why do they want to give me things? Everyone would do the same as I didn't even think a second about trying to save her, I know I just needed to do my best to do that. Alright, everyone except Lockhart.'

Harry reluctantly nods. Charlie and Bill smile as this is a strong sign of Harry that even though he did something incredible he doesn't want something will he can almost ask everything for saving Ginny from the Weasley's.

Charlie says "wait here Harry I am going to get my gift."

Bill says "I will give you my first then."

Bill opens the trunk at his bed end. He opens it and starts shoving things around when he says "ah here they are."

Harry asks shocked "they?"

Bill smiles and says "yes Harry I got you two things."

Harry asks "why?"

Bill says "Harry because you saved Ginny and make her happy even if you just be her friend although don't think I notice the bracelet she wears. When I asked her she said you gave to her last year for her birthday and I also saw the protection runes including some other. A few look even goblin runes although I don't know what they mean."

Harry says shyly "I just bought it to protect her. I mean Hermione got almost the same only Ginny got rubies and Hermione got emeralds."

Bill says "well Harry I didn't know you trying to get two birds."

Harry says immediately "no it isn't like that. I just wanted them to be safe and the bracelet helps against mind control and possession it is even said it gives you a little bit of protection to the Imperious curse so you shake it off easier or something like that."

Harry seems confused about how you can shake off a curse.

Bill says "you will understand when they tell you what the Imperius curse does."

Harry says "the jeweller said it was called the controlling curse so I think if other use it, they can control what you do and maybe even say and that is why with the protection for the mind it give protection to it but I don't know why only a little."

Bill sighs and says "Harry that because it is an unforgivable curse. I will not explain more. They will teach you the unforgivable curses in your fifth year at least that is when I and Charlie learned what they are and what they did, you will never learn to cast them as it is dark magic. Anyway on to happier thoughts your two presents from me."

Harry groans he doesn't want to be treated differently even though it is something because he really did and remember. He just wants to be Harry and nothing special.

Bill ignores his groan and says "here Harry I got you this as first. Open the box."

Harry grabs the present and opened it. Harry looks in the box and sees a pair of boots.

Bill says "the boots I got some help for Charlie. These boots are for cold weather especially in the winter and let's be honest Hogwarts is quite cold."

Harry nods, it is true. Hogwarts is far north and mostly from half of October until half of April it is quite cold.

Bill says "this is dragon hide that Charlie send me and I manage to get a Nundu fur from an old dead Nundu, but the fur was really soft. It had someone I know made the dragon hide into boots and have it with the Nundu fur. I made them with also a resizing charm in the runic script. They must be really warm and feels like walking on a cloud."

Harry is gladly surprised. His own shoes are barely holding together by spellotape and he got a lot of cold feet the last three years. Hopefully, now that wouldn't anymore. The boots are grey in colour that would go well with the black Hogwarts robe.

Harry asks "what kind of dragonhide is that?"

Bill says "it is one of a Ukrainian Ironbelly. There have scales that is said is the strongest there is, as hard as steel. The hide Charlie send had scales and it took quite a long time before the one that made the boots also agreed to use the scales. The scales are difficult to work with."

"He wasn't happy with how it ended and hoped if we get scales again he would like to do better. I can assure you that the boots are really good and even with the scales the boots still look smooth on the outside. The chance the boots break is small. I wouldn't be surprised if even your grandchildren can use it. The resizing charm will work the moment someone put their foot in."

Harry can only say "thank you. I think I can really use them."

Bill smiles "that is great now as a second I got you a locket with an owl on the front and a jackal at the back. The owl presents the god Horus who is often portraited as a falcon or owl. He is the god of war and hunting. With everything that has happened to you including having an owl, I think it would be a nice present for you."

"The jackal on the other side is the god Anubis, the god of the dead. According to legend Anubis is concerned with funerary practices and the care of the dead. I know it may not seems like it but I hope it helps with thinking your family is being cared for by Anubis."

"The last why I decide to give you this golden locket is also because the figures on the locket have the same colour as your eyes and if you want you can hide it beneath your clothes. Now let me show you this. You can open the locket. The locket is not magical on its own so I could take it without problem as the goblins don't have any interest in these things they are more interested in treasures and magical things. I found this locket in the tomb as one of his possessions."

Bill opens the locket and says "here you see the image of a battle. The locket was owned by what they called a hero. This is the battle of the hero. Now if you put your wand against the jewel the image enlarges and float so you can see better. Here let me demonstrate."

Bill put the tip of the wand against the jewel and it glows. A copy of the image enlarges and float in front of them.

Bill continues "as you can see the hero is presented with a lion head. I have seen the mummy he has a normal human head so it is probably an honour to have been portrayed with a younger lion head as cub related is not the son of the powerful goddess Sekhmet. You see above him a bird that looks like a phoenix with the fire about the bird and on the ground two decapitated creatures. One look like a large Nundu and the other looks like a Runespoor, a three-headed snake although that one looks a lot larger than the Runespoors that still live. It is possible the creatures were larger back then."

"Anyway, you see that the hero is standing on a hill with some human bodies beneath him dead. He points his sword up to the sky towards the phoenix. Under the image are hieroglyphs. I translated it and there is writing in times of great perils a hero will rise and come to the aid of those who need him. The Egyptians believed that the pharaoh of that time summoned him to help, in other words, a god summoned him from the underworld or some other place."

"Harry, if you want I can place something in the empty on the other side of the locket maybe a picture. It doesn't need to be the original one. I can make a copy to put in the pendant. If you extend the locket fully you can place a total of three pictures but I think it is better to wait with that."

Harry says "thank you, Bill. I must admit I do like it and I have a picture in my mind I would like. Can we look after the Quidditch World Cup?"

Bill says "sure Harry take your time. I need to go back to Egypt early on the 29th of August so if you let me know no later than right after dinner on the 28th of August I can do it before I leave."

Harry really likes Bill's presents although he tried not to although he must admit he likes someone who tried to make him happy as his Aunt and Uncle went all out for Dudley. Sure Bill didn't go all out but he is happy he didn't and like the presents from Bill very much especially as both presents are made for him just like Ginny's mittens and scarf was. He hopes Charlie also didn't go overboard.

Before Harry can thank him again Charlie comes back and says "Harry I got you a couple of things. First I got some dragon hide gloves for Herbology, the same dragon as Ginny got last year. Even though the Ukrainian Ironbelly has the strongest hide it isn't that as the gloves for Herbology need to be smooth so you don't anger the plant or get yourself stuck so the hide is from the Peruvian Vipertooth. It is very smooth but still very strong."

Before Harry can thank him for his dragonhide gloves as his old ones were needed to be replaced. Charlie showed him another pair of gloves. Charlie smiles widely as he says "this, however, is from a Ukrainian Ironbelly as these are gloves for Quidditch, especially seeker. These gloves are not only dragonhide from Ukrainian Ironbelly but on the outside are also scales and that is the hardest part of the Ukrainian Ironbelly."

Charlie said it but Harry did already know.

Charlie continued "I think it can even withstand Bludgers when you try to grab the snitch. It isn't forbidden to wear those as it is difficult to obtain but I know for certain that Bludgers may still hit you and maybe hurt a bit by its momentum but you will not break your arm or be unable to use it for a bit or at least won't feel it immediately although I would let Madam Pomfrey look after the match at your arm if you get hit."

Harry look surprised when Charlie says "and the last present, I got you another dragon hide jacket and this one is very special. It got all the spells woven into the dragonhide in the runic script of course, not only the resizing charm but also the heating charm, the cooling charm and more. Although that is very special it is more than the hide is made from the beautiful dragon, the Antipodean Opaleye. It was difficult to obtain but you deserve it. I need to get it all the way from New Zealand and when the hide came I manage to get the best part of it for this jacket."

Harry is stunned, not only by what he got from them especially the nice looking boots and locket from Bill. But what stunned him most especially is the dragon hide jacket from the Antipodean Opaleye from Charlie.

Harry asks "are you both sure?"

Bill and Charlie look at each other before they laugh and nod at the same time. After almost five minutes they stop laughing and Charlie says "yes Harry this is all for you. Believe me when I say we are more than happy to give you something like this."

Bill fully agree and says "although I advise you to don't show Ron. After we gave you a dragonhide jacket and Ginny new dragon hide gloves and those hair pines he sends Charlie and me a message why he never got anything like that as he also went down to save Ginny. We both send him that he was partly to blame and he wasn't happy about that but he is still our little brother so we kind of has to love him. So we kind of said have good grades and if you do we will send you something special for your birthday in March."

"The twins know what we gave you and also understand. They are even happy for you and they also think you deserve it although they don't know about these gifts they will not be jealous like Ron. Knowing the twins they will tease you about it in a fun-loving kind of way."

Bill sighs before he continues "I would love to continue to talk to the both of you but I really must go to sleep. I need to be up early again. You think with all the wizards and witches already there nobody would be that stupid to try something, but it just looks like ministry is suspecting something although nobody said what I need to prepare for."

Charlie says "well you know how the ministry is, but we will let you go to sleep. Come Harry I will help you with your presents. You may need to distract Ron if he is in his room what wouldn't surprise me."

Harry nods. If Ron isn't outside he would be in his room. As it is dark outside Mrs. Weasley will not let Ron be outside so he is most probably in his room.

25th August 1994, The Burrow

Harry wakes up when he hears two gentle voices waking him. Harry groans as he grabs his glasses.

He sees Ginny and Hermione smiling at him. He asks "what is it?"

Hermione says "we need to wake you and Ron up."

Ginny sees Harry is sweating and asks "Harry did you have the nightmare again?"

Harry shakes his head and says "no, but I won't lie to you I did have the same one the last couple of days."

Hermione asks "Voldemort?"

Harry nods. Ginny says "well it is good you didn't have it this night. Why don't you grab some clothes and go take a shower? We will wake Ron up."

Harry says "alright."

It takes a few minutes for Harry to grab some clothes and for the first time, he grabs the dragon hide jacket from last year, the dragon hide of a Chinese Fireball.

Harry is just outside of the door as he hears Hermione say "wake up. Wake up, Ronald!"

Harry doesn't hear Ron but he does hear Ginny groan. Harry was just about to enter the bathroom when he hears Ron scream "BLOODY HELL."

Almost 5 minutes later Harry comes downstairs and sits at the table immediately getting a plate of food from Mrs. Weasley. Harry is still a bit sleepy. He says "Good morning" before he starts eating.

Everybody says "good morning Harry" when he noticed everyone is awake except Ron. Hermione and Ginny are sitting in the kitchen talking and eating. Bill and Charlie have a big smile as they see Harry wearing the red and gold dragon hide jacket.

Ron comes down grumbling until he sees the food and rushes to his seat almost pushing Harry's chair aside with Harry in it. Hermione and Ginny immediately glare but Ron doesn't seem to notice and start eating if you at least can call it eating and not feeding. Ron didn't say good morning.

A half an hour later Mr. Weasley stands up and says "come we need to go."

Ron groans as he was "just" at his fourth plate and wanted at least one more plate for the long morning before he can have lunch. Hermione and Ginny glare but he doesn't care. He did care about the glare of his mother that scared him. He just stands up and walks to stand next to Mr. Weasley not looking up from the ground.

Mrs. Weasley wishes everyone a fun time at Quidditch World Cup as she would get the supplies. Hermione said that she already had a dress and when Harry said he didn't have dress robes Mrs. Weasley said she would get them. Harry wants to decline and that he will probably don't need it, but Mrs. Weasley wants to do it for Harry if he accepts.

Hermione says "Mrs. Weasley most girls want their date to match so when Harry finds a date I will make sure to drag Harry to Hogsmeade to make sure their dress robes match."

Mrs. Weasley says "alright Hermione. I think that would be alright but I did have an idea that almost match everything. I have it here."

Hermione looks as did Ginny. They both nod and Hermione says "maybe it is better if you do. I can see many things to match with."

Ginny nods. Harry tries to think of anything to prevent Mrs. Weasley from buying it, not that he doesn't have the money as somehow his gold doesn't run out. He doesn't want her to do it as he doesn't even want to use it and doesn't get to the reason that dress robes are needed."

Mrs. Weasley says "Ginny do you still want the dress(robes) I showed you when you said you may need them?"

Ginny nods and says "I like that one."

Mr. Weasley says "come on guys and girls we need to go."

Mr. Wesaley kisses Mrs. Weasley before leading everyone out. Harry and Ron are still a bit sleepy. After breakfast, Ron always has a problem in the morning and needs his full sleep (in hours) what he didn't have. Harry doesn't have that problem but the last few nights he didn't sleep well because of the reoccurring nightmare.

When they pass the property line Bill says "Dad I will go ahead with Charlie. The ministry wants to talk to him about something. I think it is about a bunch of rowdy Romanians as Charlie speaks that language of course. When we are done we will meet you at the family tent sight. Already let security know that two would arrive less."

Mr. Weasley nods and says "that is good. We will see you at lunch alright?"

Charlie and Bill nod before Charlie grabs Bill's arm and they apparate out.

Mr. Weasley says "come up follow me we cannot be late."

25th August 1994, Devon, West Country, England

After almost 15 minutes of walking Harry has fully woken up and isn't tired. He asks Ron who is walking beside him "where are we actually going?"

Ron shrugs and says "don't know. Hey Dad! Where are we going?"

Mr. Weasley says "haven't the foggiest idea, keep up!"

A few minutes later see someone. He says "Arthur! It's about time."

Mr. Weasley smiles and says "Sorry Amos. Some of us had a bit of a sleepy start. This is Amos Diggory, everyone, he works with me at the ministry."

A boy jumps out of the three and Mr. Weasley says "And this strapping young lad must be Cedric, am I right?"

Cedric says "yes sir" while Mr. Weasley and Cedric shake hands.

Amos Diggory immediately steps up to Harry and says "Merlin's beard, you must be Harry Potter."

Amos put out his hand and Harry shakes it while Harry says " Yes sir."

Amos says happily "it is a great, great pleasure."

Harry tries not to be embarrassed and says "pleasure to meet you too sir."

Cedric smiles at his father as he told him Harry Potter would probably come along. Cedric is happy that he managed to convince his father that he only won the Quidditch match because the Dementors attacked Harry and affected the snitch. Cedric would never claim he would have won from Harry, but Cedric knows he is a good seeker although Harry is of course too.

When his father stops and stands beside him again he sees Hermione and Ginny. He never really talked with them but everybody from the third year and up knows who they are. Cedric gives them a smile that makes almost every girl swoon. He expected the shy blush, shy smile and/ or avoiding his gaze looking to the ground. Cedric doesn't have a girlfriend but there are some girls he has an interest in. While Hermione and Ginny weren't, he may need to rethink that.

Cedric was surprised that instead of the shy blush, shy smile and/ or avoiding his gaze looking to the ground both Hermione and Ginny roll their eyes. They look at each other and suddenly turn around. They rushed to Harry and both grab one of his arms before clinging to it. Hermione was so fast to his right arm that she almost sends Ron to the floor.

Cedric smile. While he has many girls he wouldn't mind getting to know better he also knows when not to try something. He respects girls that are in a relationship or have an interest in another guy …. Well at least as much interest as obviously Hermione and Ginny have for Harry and must admit Harry will be a very lucky guy if he even gets one of them.

The twins want to tease but he remembers how mad Harry was when they teased Hermione and Ginny for what they were wearing. Although Harry forgave them they both decide to not tease him with this at least not yet as they like Harry and don't want him mad at them, it will also count as intervening in the bet. The twins however make sure they remember that the teasing will eventually come especially if he ends up with Hermione or Ginny or like Luna Lovegood said both.

Ron glares at Hermione but she doesn't seem to notice and the twins grab Ron to drag him away from Harry and the girls.

Amos has seen everything but doesn't think anything about it and says "this way. We must not be late."

25th August 1994, Stoatshead Hill, West County, England

It took half an hour until they reach a hill. The whole time Hermione and Ginny were clinging to Harry. Hermione and Ginny were shocked they reacted like this, but when Harry didn't object and almost unnoticeable tensed up they decide with only a look to keep holding onto Harry.

Amos says "ah here we are Stoatshead Hill. It should be on the top."

Harry wonders but follows the others to the top. When they reach the top Mr. Weasley says "that's it, Amos, just over there."

Amos smiles largely and asks "shall we? We don't want to be late."

Hermione and Ginny reluctantly let go and stand around the boot.

Harry a feet away "why are they all standing around that manky old boot?"

Fred together with George from behind says while they pass him "that isn't just any old manky boot mate."

George says "it's a portkey."

He only knows who Fred is and who George is as they wear the sweater with their letter as we all left in the dark when it was a little bit chilly. Meanwhile, everyone is in a circle putting their hands on the boot.

Amos asks "time to go. Ready?"

Harry asks "what's a 'portkey'?

Amos says "after 3. One... Two..."

Mr. Weasley immediately sees one finger missing. He looks up and Harry and urgently says "Harry!"

Harry rushes over and puts his finger on the boot.

Amos says "three!"

Harry sees the entire group spinning around the old boot and going up in the air before he feels a hook at his navel. They are still spinning when Mr. Weasley says "let go kids!"

Hermione asks shocked "WHAT?"

Mr. Weasley says "LET! GO!" while he let go.

Both needed to shout or you can't hear them. Harry, Hermione and the young Weasleys let go. Hermione and Ginny immediately try to get to Harry and right before they crash to the ground they managed to get to Harry. They crash to the ground with a thump. Mr. Weasley, Amos and Cedric come down more gracefully like they are walking down invisible stairs.

Mr. Weasley smiles while he says "I bet that cleared your sinuses eh?"

Cedric helps Harry to his feet and Harry is certain awake now although Ron seems a bit dazed. The twins help Ron up.

Harry says "thanks" to Cedric who just smiles.

Suddenly they hear a voice "seven past five from Stoatshead Hill," said a voice.

Another voice says "nine minus two."

They see two males standing and looking at them. The men are weirdly dressed and pretending to be a muggle obviously. One wears a tweed suit with thigh-length goloshes while his colleague wears a kilt and a poncho.

"Morning, Basil," said Mr. Weasley, picking up the boot and handing it to the kilted wizard, who threw it into a large box of used Portkeys beside him Harry could see an old newspaper, an empty drinks can, and a punctured football.

"Hello there, Arthur, not on duty, eh?" asks Basil wearily.

Basil continues "it's all right for some...We've been here all night...You'd better get out of the way, we've got a big party coming in from the Black Forest at ten past five."

"Hang on, I'll find your campsite...Weasley...Weasley..." He consulted his parchment list. Ah yes … about a quarter of a mile's walk over there, the first field you come to. Site manager's called Mr. Roberts."

"Diggory, Diggory, Diggory ...second field...ask for Mr. Payne."

"Thanks, Basil," says Mr. Weasley, and he beckoned everyone to follow him.

They set off across the deserted moor, unable to make out much through the mist.

After about twenty minutes, a small stone cottage next to a gate swam into view.

Beyond it, Harry could just make out the ghostly shapes of hundreds and hundreds of tents, rising the gentle slope of a large field toward a dark wood on the horizon.

Amos says "parting of the waves I think old chap. See you at the match.

Mr. Weasley just gave Amos a hand and nodded.

Cedric says "see ya later Harry."

Harry says "yeah. See ya later Cedric."

In front of the field is a stone cottage stands a man looking at every wizard and witch and the many, many tents. Harry knew at a glance that this was the only real Muggle for several acres. When he heard their footsteps, he turned his head to look at them.

Mr. Weasley brightly says "good morning!"

The muggle gruffly says "morning."

Mr. Weasley nicely asks "Would you be Mr. Roberts?"

"Aye, I would," said Mr. Roberts.

After a few seconds, he asks "And who're you?"

"Weasley – one tent, booked a couple of weeks ago?"

"Aye," you've got space up by the wood there," says Mr. Roberts looking at a list put on the door.

Mr. Roberts asks "just one night?"

Mr. Weasley says "that's it."

Mr. Roberts says "you'll be paying now, then?"

"Ah….. right….. certainly…" Mr. Weasley says confused.

Mr. Weasley retreats a short distance as he stands next to Harry.

Mr. Weasley mutters "help me, Harry" as he grabs a roll of muggle money out of his pocket. He starts to look at the muggle money and starts to awkwardly pull the notes apart.

Mr. Weasley whispers "this one's a - a - a ten? Ah yes, I see the little number on it now...So this is a five?"

Harry is an undertone, uncomfortably aware of Mr. Roberts trying to catch every word as he corrects Mr. Weasley "a twenty."

Mr. Weasley says "ah yes, so it is...I don't know, these little bits of paper..."

Mr. Roberts asks "your foreign?" as Mr. Weasley after Harry's help.

Mr. Weasley asks puzzled "foreign?

Mr. Roberts, scrutinizing Mr. Weasley closely says "you're not the first one who's had trouble with money. I had two that try and pay me with great gold coins the size of hubcaps ten minutes ago."

Mr. Weasley nervously asks "did they really?"

Mr. Roberts took the money and grabs his wallet for Mr. Weasley's change.

Mr. Roberts suddenly says "never been this crowded, hundreds of pre-bookings. People usually just turn up..."

Mr. Weasley asks "is that right?"

Mr. Weasley, his hand held out for his change, but Mr. Roberts didn't give it to him.

Mr. Roberts thoughtfully says "aye, people from all over. Loads of foreigners. And not just foreigners. Weirdos, you know? A bloke is walking 'round in a kilt and a poncho. Looks like a Scot but doesn't talk like a Scot."

Mr. Weasley asks anxiously "shouldn't he?" as Mr. Weasley thinks it is normal muggle clothing.

Mr. Roberts says while clearly thinking "It's like some sort of...I dunno...like some sort of rally. They all seem to know each other. Like a big party."

Suddenly a wizard apparates out of thin air next to Mr. Roberts.

The wizard points his wand as he cast "obliviate."

Instantly, Mr. Roberts's eyes slid out of focus, his brows unknitted, and a look of dreamy unconcern fell over his face. Harry recognized the symptoms of one who had just had his memory modified, but he doesn't know why he recognized it.

Mr. Roberts says "a map of the campsite for you and you change" before giving it placidly to Mr. Weasley.

Mr. Weasley polite as always smile and says "thanks very much."

The wizard accompanies them toward the gate to the campsite. He looks exhausted. His chin was blue with stubble and there were deep purple shadows under his eyes.

Once out of earshot of Mr. Roberts, he muttered to Mr. Weasley, "Been having a lot of trouble with him Needs a Memory Charm ten times a day to keep him happy and Ludo Bagman's not helping Trotting around talking about Bludgers and Quaffles at the top of his voice, not a worry about anti-Muggle security Blimey, I'll be glad when this is over. See you later, Mr. Weasley."

The wizard disapparated after a sympathetic smile and nod from Mr. Weasley.

Ginny asks surprised after a large smile still holding onto Harry "I thought Mr. Bagman is the Head of Magical Games and Sports. He should know better than to talk about Bludgers near Muggles, shouldn't he?"

Mr. Weasley smiles and sighs before he says "He should, but Ludo's always been a bit...well...lax about security. You couldn't wish for a more enthusiastic head of the sports department though. He played Quidditch for England himself, you know. he was the best Beater the Wimbourne Wasps ever had."

Mr. Weasley leads them through the gates into the campsite and says "well kids, welcome to the Quidditch World Cup!"

Everyone smiles largely seeing all activity and tents but also all the fun and parties. They walk across the field and we see there's a massive crowd gathered and cheering, tents are set up all over. They walk into the crowd, taking in the sights. Music is playing and people fly about overhead on brooms. Most looked almost ordinary; their owners had clearly tried to make them as Muggle-like as possible but had slipped up by adding chimneys, bellpulls, or weather vanes. However, here and there was a tent so obviously magical that Harry could hardly be surprised that Mr. Roberts was getting suspicious. Halfway up the field stood an extravagant confection of striped silk like a miniature palace, with several live peacocks tethered at the entrance. A little farther on they passed a tent that had three floors and several turrets; and a short way beyond that was a tent that had a front garden attached, complete with a birdbath, sundial, and fountain.

Mr. Weasley couldn't suppress to smile as he says "it is always the same. We can't resist showing off when we get together."

They walk through a row with many more muggle looking tents. Almost to the end of the line with only a couple of tents left before reaching a small open space before the woods leading to the stadium Mr. Weasley says "ah, here we are, look, this is us."

Mr. Weasley happily says "we couldn't have a better spot. The field is just on the other side of the woods there, we're as close as we could be. The only ones who are closer are the teams, high ranking members of the ministry like Minster Fudge and director of the DMLE Amilia Bones and if I remember correctly a couple of ambassadors."

Mr. Weasley says "luckily Bill and Charlie had already set up the tent. Girls you go in first. I think we need water and a fireplace right Harry? Harry, where do you reckon we should start?"

Harry had never been camping in his life. The Dursleys had never taken him on any kind of holiday, preferring to leave him with Mrs. Figg unless she couldn't watch him and when he was old enough to carry stuff from the supermarket. The Dursleys went on holiday (where never was allowed to go even if Mrs. Figg couldn't watch him) but never went camping his Uncle found that below his standard as some manager by a big company as Grunnigs.

Mr. Weasley sees that Harry doesn't respond and thinks that Harry is thinking. He says "why don't you come in Harry."

Mr. Weasley enters the tent, but on the outside, it looks like nobody is inside. Harry enters and his jaw drops open. Harry walks into what looked like a three-bedroom flat with a bathroom and a kitchen. It strongly reminds Harry of Mrs. Figg's house.

Mr. Weasley says "well, it's only for tonight. Girls, you can pick a room first."

Mr. Weasley looks at Harry and says "Harry, this is a wizarding tent. I borrowed this from my deputy Perkins. He doesn't camp much anymore, poor fellow, he's got lumbago.

Mr. Weasley grabs a bucket and says "like I said we need water. There is a tap marker on the map the muggle gave me."

Harry sees the map and says "it's on the other side of the field."

Mr. Weasley says "well, why don't you, Ginny, and Hermione go and get us some water then and the rest of us will get some wood for a fire, right?"

Harry nods. He doesn't know for sure but it sounds like the right thing to do.

Ron whines "but we've got an oven. Why can't we just …"

Mr. Weasley says with anticipation "anti-security muggle, with the muggles around we do the muggle way. I always wanted to do it the muggle way. When real Muggles camp, they cook on fires outdoors. I've seen them at it."

Harry walks to the room Ginny and Hermione choose. He hears them talking.

He hears Hermione say "I need to talk to my parents first. My mother kind of suggests it so that makes me feel a bit better. If my parents accept I will fully accept too."

Ginny sees Harry's shadow and says "come in Harry."

Harry walks in and Hermione gets mad. She shouts "HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN EASEDROPPING HARRY JAMES POTTER! HOW DARE YOU EAVESDROP!"

Harry says "I am sorry Hermione but I didn't hear anything only that something is bothering you but that your mother suggested something and if they accept so do you. I didn't hear anything more. I am sorry, I didn't mean to."

"I came here because Mr. Weasley asks us if we can go get some water. According to the map Mr. Roberts gave us there is a tap on the other side of the field."

Ginny smiles before saying "alright let's go. Don't forget Harry you promised me a present."

Harry smiles and says "I didn't forget. Ginny, can you ask your father to conjure buckets if we don't have any?"

Ginny nods and walks to her father. Harry immediately turns to Hermione. He looks into her eyes as he asks "Hermione if you need my help you know I will help you, right? I will do everything in my power even if I need to talk to your parents you know that right? So I ask you do you need my help?"

Hermione smiles with tears of happiness and says "I know you will help me Harry when I need it. You don't have to Harry I will talk to my parents."

Harry says "if you want to tell me and your parents don't understand I can talk to them if it will help you."

Hermione hugs him and says "thank you, Harry. I think they can understand when I explain what needs to be explained. We should go to Ginny so we can get the water before you can find Ginny a present and we may see quite many of Hogwarts. I am sure there will be a couple of our friends and housemates and friends or at least friendly students from the other houses are here. Too bad Neville isn't here and Luna is according to Ginny in Norway searching for something called Crumple-Horned Snorkacks. When we are back at Hogwarts I will go to the library to try to find that creature. Although I doubt it exists."

Harry says "Hermione, not finding something in books doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I know you believe in books but not everything that is in books is the truth. The creature can exist but just hasn't been discovered …. yet. You can doubt it but Luna is a nice person and please don't try to upset her. You can ask about the creatures but don't disdain her or the creatures she believes exist even if there isn't evidence in books."

Harry sees Hermione is having difficulty as she has always trusted books.

Harry asks "Mione can you do it for me?"

Hermione's anger flare when she sees it is Harry. Her anger immediately disappears and makes her blush.

Harry doesn't notice her blush but he does notice he got her attention and her anger "Luna is a nice girl if you don't try to prove the creatures are real or not I am sure you can be her friend. I am sorry calling you 'Mione you obviously don't like it."

Hermione immediately "no Harry I don't mind …. If you call me …. 'Mione."

Hermione whispers just hard enough for Harry to hear "but only you."

Hermione blush when she sees Harry smile and immediately continues "yes, I like Luna every time we did homework last year the last month and talked about the electives. I will try to but sometimes it doesn't make sense and that infuriates me. The worst part is she even sometimes makes sense."

Before Harry can respond Ginny walks to them and asks "what is keeping you two? I was already waiting close to 10 minutes outside the tent."

Hermione says "sorry Ginny. Come on Harry let's go."

Hermione immediately follows Ginny. Harry gives a small laugh before following them.

When they walk towards the tap some families start to wake up. First to stir if you don't count the ones who are already partying were the families with small children; Harry had never seen witches and wizards this young before.

A tiny boy no older than two was crouched outside a large pyramid-shaped tent, holding a wand and poking happily at a slug in the grass, which was swelling slowly to the size of a salami. As they drew level with him, his mother came hurrying out of the tent.

"How many times, Kevin? You don't - touch - Daddy's - wand – yecchh!" obvious his mother says.

She steps on the giant slug, which bursts. Her scolding carried after them on the still air, mingling with the little boy's yells "you bust slug! You bust slug!" before his yell stopped and Harry looks back to see the boy is gone as is his mother. He is probably back in the tent and it has a silencing charm for noise from the outside and noise from the inside.

A short way farther on, they saw two little witches, barely older than Kevin, who were riding toy broomsticks that rose only high enough for the girls' toes to skim the ground.

A Ministry wizard had already spotted them as he hurried past Harry, Ginny, and Hermione.

They hear him muttering distractedly "in broad daylight! parents having a lie-in, I suppose."

Here and there adult wizards and witches were emerging from their tents and starting to cook breakfast. Some, with furtive looks around them, conjured fires with their wands others were striking matches with dubious looks on their faces, as though sure this couldn't work.

Harry thinks 'I wonder if Mr. Weasley will be the same as these wizards who obviously haven't seen muggle do it before what Mr. Weasley has.'

Three African wizards sat in serious conversation, all of them wearing long white robes and roasting what looked like a rabbit on a bright purple fire, while a group of middle-aged American witches sat gossiping happily beneath a spangled banner stretched between their tents that read: the Salem witches' institute.

Harry, Hermione and Ginny walk with empty buckets towards the tap. They had walked into a patch of tents that were all covered with a thick growth of shamrocks so that it looked as though small, oddly shaped hillocks had sprouted out of the earth. Ginny says "that should be the Irish fans."

They suddenly see Seamus and Dean sitting in front of a tent. They see them and wave them over. Hermione and Ginny raise their bucket, pointing towards the direction of the tap and push Harry away.

Harry asks "why did you do that?"

Hermione says "Harry we need to get water first and I am sure after lunch when you pick out Ginny's present we will see them."

Ginny continues and says "Hermione is right, Harry. Also if we don't want Ron to eat also our snacks and our lunch we should not be too late back. We better hurry."

When they finally reach the tap is already a small queue for the tap in the corner of the field. Harry, Ginny, and Hermione joined it, right behind a pair of men who were having a heated argument. One of them was a very old wizard who was wearing a long flowery nightgown. The other was clearly a Ministry wizard, he was holding out a pair of pinstriped trousers and almost crying with exasperation.

"Just put them on, Archie, there's a good chap. You can't walk around like that, the Muggle at the gate's already getting suspicious" the ministry wizard says.

The old wizard named Archie says "I bought this in a Muggle shop. Muggles wear them."

The Ministry wizard says as he brandished the pinstriped trousers "Muggle women wear them, Archie, not the men, they wear these."

Archie says in indignation "I'm not putting them on. I like a healthy breeze 'round my privates, thanks."

Hermione and Ginny are overcome with such a strong fit of giggles at this point that they had to duck out of the queue and only returned when Archie had collected his water and moved away to help Harry fill the buckets.

When they walk back they see familiar faces here and there, mostly Hogwarts students with their families.

Suddenly Harry gets dragged away dropping both of his buckets with water and when he looks to see who was dragging him away he sees it is Oliver Wood, the old captain of Harry's House Quidditch team, who had just graduated from Hogwarts. He dragged Harry over to his parents' tent to introduce him and told him excitedly that he had just been signed to the Puddlemere United reserve team. He is starting keeper for the second Puddlemere United team and would be the replacement keeper for the Puddlemere United first team.

Oliver apologized for dragging him suddenly away he quickly refilled the buckets inside the tent with the charm Aguamenti as the queue for the tap had increased. Vanessa is in the tent and it seems that Oliver's parents like Vanessa at least they were happily talking when Oliver dragged Harry inside followed by Hermione and Ginny.

Next who they see is Ernie Macmillan, a Hufflepuff fourth year, and a little farther on they saw Cho Chang, a very pretty girl who played Seeker on the Ravenclaw team. She waves and smiles at Harry. Harry put one bucket on the ground and politely waves back before immediately grabbing the bucket and walking to the tent.

Harry asks "who do you think they are? I think they don't go to Hogwarts, do they?"

Hermione says "they probably go to some foreign school. I know there are others. Never met anyone who went to one. I wonder which they are from?"

Ginny says " I heard that Bill had a penfriend at a school in Brazil...this was years and years ago when I was little...and he wanted to go on an exchange trip but Mum and Dad couldn't afford it. His penfriend got all offended when he said he wasn't going and sent him a cursed hat. It made his ears shrivel up at least that is what I heard from the twins."

Harry laughs while didn't voice the amazement he felt at hearing about other wizarding schools. He supposed, now that he saw representatives of so many nationalities on the campsite, that he had been stupid never to realize that Hogwarts couldn't be the only one.

He glances at Hermione. He should have known if there were are schools in the world she would have found out and probably try to find more information about these schools like where is it and what kind of classes they had including any difference from Hogwarts.

When they finally reach the tent George says "finally you have been gone for ages."

Harry put down both buckets. Hermione had two buckets but they weren't as full as Harry and Ginny had the same as Hermione.

Ginny says "we've met a few people. You've not got that fire started yet?"

Fred appears and says "dad's having fun with the matches."

Harry, Ginny and Hermione see Mr. Weasley was having no success at all in lighting the fire, but it wasn't for lack of trying. Splintered matches littered the ground around him, but he looked as though he was having the time of his life.

Harry asks "where is Ron?"

Fred says "after whining when we gathered wood. The moment we had enough and carried it back he went inside."

George says "he went to find a bedroom and went to sleep. Don't worry Hermione and Ginny he didn't take yours."

Mr. Weasley finally manages to light a match because of surprise and child enjoyment what Mr. Weasley has with everything muggle he drops the match and says "oops."

Hermione kindly says "come here, Mr. Weasley."

She takes the box from him and shows Mr. Weasley how to do it properly. At last, they got the fire lit, though it was at least another hour before it was hot enough to cook anything. There was plenty to watch while they waited, however. Their tent seemed to be pitched right alongside a way many Ministry members take. Many Ministry members keep hurrying up and down it, greeting Mr. Weasley cordially as they passed. Besides the Ministry members, many other wizards and witches walk by partying with at least half already drunk or close to being drunk with only a few who were sober.

Mr. Weasley together with Hermione and Ginny were cooking on the fire. Fred and George were inside the tent quietly talking which each other like they were planning something like they do in Hogwarts. Ron is still sleeping. Harry is outside watching many supporters from one of the two in the championship match.

Right on time when lunch is ready Charlie and Bill arrive and Ron wakes up. Bill says "finally done. Now I can enjoy the Quidditch World Cup and tomorrow night or the morning after that I need to take the wards down but as most are mine it would be much easier than erecting them."

Charlie says after "it took some time but finally I manage to make sure the Romanian and the other who they were with did not make too many problems. Some know me and stopped making problems. For those who didn't know me talking didn't do much so with a couple of Aurors with us, using Azkaban to threaten and mentioning Dementors helped."

Ron didn't comment and immediately sat down and can barely wait until lunch was ready.

After lunch, Mr. Weasley says "I need to talk with some of my department. You can go walk around and before I forget Harry, Ron, Ginny and Hermione. I suggest walking towards the stadium most of the stalls are there. Here Ron and Ginny some money you can spend. The stadium is a short walk through the woods only a few minutes. Around this time there should be many wizards and witches so it is easy to find."

"Also get to the biggest tents. Those are ministry tents and Amelia Bones has her own tent with her niece. She let me know that Susan likes to meet you all. I don't know if she is already there or if Susan is walking around but I thought I should let you know. The ministry tents are right closest to the stadium on the campsite."

Hermione says "thank you Mr. Weasley. I was already thinking about going there before going to the stadium as they are the closest tents as you said this morning. I would like to see Susan and knowing Susan Hannah will be with her."

Mr. Weasley says "alright but makes sure you all are back for dinner as the match starts at 09:30 PM which would be soon after dinner and after the sun has set so it would be dark. We need to make sure we go soon as we got some of the best seats to watch it. We are in the top box so we can see everything."

Everybody smiles and says as one person "of course dad/ Mr. Weasley."

Everyone went their own way. Hermione and Harry make sure the campfire is out before going with Ginny and Ron to the stadium.

When they were walking to the large tents as it is barely 5 minutes walking to the stadium and is the shortest way they passed the Bulgarian fans and tents.

Harry, Ginny and Hermione hear Ron quietly mutter "Krum."

They only hear him because he is walking right next to him otherwise they would have never heard him.

Hermione asks "what?"

Ron points and says louder "Krum. Viktor Krum, the Bulgarian Seeker!"

Hermione says "he looks really grumpy" as many Krum's blinking and scowling at them when they look their way.

Ginny says "really grumpy."

Hermione says "yes. Really, really grumpy."

Ginny agrees again. Ron raises his eyes to the heavens and almost shouts "who cares what he looks like. He's unbelievable. He's really young too. Only just eighteen or something. He's a genius, you wait until tonight, you'll see."

Hermione and Ginny thought only one thing 'I don't care how good he is I have the best and good-looking seeker in the world, Harry. He is not only the best and good-looking seeker, but he is also (Hermione thinks) best friend/ (Ginny thinks) one of my best friends.'

With one sideways glance, they both knew they thought the same. Ginny is happy as that means Hermione is more accepting and with her acceptance Harry will be easier to convince it is alright and more importantly that they want to be with Harry Her, Hermione and Luna.

After the Bulgarian fan tents, they see the large tents. When they approach and want to enter they get stopped by the Aurors who stand guard by the gate to the large tents.

Harry says "I want to talk to Amelia Bones."

One of the Auror says "no one is allowed to enter that doesn't is part of the team or ambassador of the countries."

Ron starts saying "don't you know who this is? This i…."

They hear a voice saying "Harry, I was just planning to go look for you."

Susan and Hannah walk past the Aurors. Susan says "hello Harry."

Harry says "hey Susan and Hannah."

Amelia walks outside of her tent and sees Harry. She walks to them and says "hello Harry, Hermione and if I am not mistaken, Ginny and Ron Weasley."

Harry sees Amelia and says "hello to you too Madam Bones."

Hermione and Ginny also greet Amelia while Ron barely gave a greeting and more like waiting until he can go and spend his father's money probably on food.

Amelia says "Susie, make sure you are hereby dinner we don't want to be late."

Susan blushes and says "Auntie…."

Amelia laughs and says "I couldn't resist Susan, but that doesn't mean I mean it. I want both of you to be back here by dinner. And watch out, not all foreigners are nice."

Susan rolls her eyes and says "I know. Come on let's go."

She immediately walks away barely controlling herself to grab Harry's hand. She wants to be not in front of her aunt, her Aurors and certainly not Ronald Weasley.

The group follows her while Amelia goes back to her tent and the Aurors look surprised some teenage wizards and witches know the head of the DMLE even if it is through her niece. It is known that Amelia is very protective of Susan, but even knowing those teenage wizards and witches by name surprises them the most. If she said Ginny and Ron first as a Weasley it wouldn't be too much surprise as it is known that she knows Mr. Weasley well.

After a couple of minutes of walking to the woods filled with many wizards and witches, they reach the stadium. They see many stalls and even more wizards and witches.

Ron doesn't like having 'Puffs with him but as Harry doesn't send them away as he doesn't with Ginny he will tolerate them. That thought almost immediately disappears as he sees a couple of stalls with food. He immediately takes off.

All the girls groan while Harry smiles a little at Ron's expected interest in certain stalls. Hermione groans the hardest before she says "Harry I forget this."

Harry turns to her and Hermione grabs a small bag with Galleons. She says "I know you said I could use it but I did want to pay you back."

Harry says "Hermione it isn't needed. Also, I got more than enough with me as you almost didn't use anything last year. If I need more I will think of something"

Hermione says "I know but please as the books weren't necessary please let me pay you back."

Harry says "no Hermione. Why don't you use it for yourself or keep it when it is Hogsmeade weekend."

Hermione is heavily doubting it as she only got this with the idea to pay Harry back. She would get her money for Hogsmeade the coming weekend before she will go back to the Weasley's.

Her parents understand when they went to Diagon Alley. She saw by Twilfitt and Tatting's and in Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions that female dresses are dresses like in the muggle world in opposition to dress robes for males. The dresses are only a bit more straitlaced than most in the muggle world. She could now get the dress she saw before when they were in muggle London. She got it the same day and her mother agreed it was not obscene not even daring compared with the dresses for witches in Diagon Alley.

Her mother even made a teasing remark about a certain boy will faint of her beauty when he sees her in this. Hermione said Harry will not even use his name out of instinct which made her mother smile more. Hermione said she doesn't know why she needs it. Her mother started to say things about why she needed it but all the things she said would give way to bringing a date which her mother pointed out.

While Ron is trying to go to every food stall and try to get as much as he can for all the money he got from Mr. Weasley the others are looking through the merchandise from multiple stalls. They were talking about the summer and what they did. When they notice Harry didn't say anything Susan asks "how was your summer, Harry?"

Harry says "oh….. uh …. fine. Certainly when I went to the Weasley's."

Harry stayed mostly silent after that until Hermione and Ginny were talking about Ginny's Birthday and what they did at the Weasley's although Harry didn't say much about being at the Weasley's although he said more than his time at the relatives.

Hermione and Ginny were both afraid something did happen as always say Harry something is fine something is always wrong. They hope it was just fine and Harry doesn't mean anything with that, but knowing Harry it wasn't just fine.

Hermione and Ginny suppress their anger to not let Susan and Hannah show. It looks like it works but they don't know Susan notices the moment of anger until Hermione and Ginny could suppress it.

Suddenly Ginny points at a stall and says "Harry, I want that."

They walk to the stall and Harry sees that Ginny wants a red shirt with a moving Snitch, Bludgers and Quaffle.

Harry asks "are you sure? I mean I think you can get it everywhere."

Ginny says "maybe but I really like this one."

Harry shrugs and says "alright how about the shirt and maybe a scarf or hat or both for one of the teams?"

Ginny asks surprised "really?"

Harry says "yeah, I don't think it is a problem."

Ginny jumps at Harry to hug him. Harry didn't expect this but with Hermione's hands immediately on Harry's back, they remain standing. To both of their surprise, Harry doesn't tense up. He does tense up but not like before he tenses up to keep standing on his own without Hermione's help.

The woman clerk looks at them and mutters "oh how sweet, young love."

The woman says "great choice miss. Let's see I think this own would be a good fit."

Ginny goes behind a screen and comes back in less than a minute. Hermione says "it looks good Ginny."

Susan says "yes. I know you like Quidditch this is so you. The snitch sure wants to be caught."

Hannah says "I really like the colour of your hair with it and it is one of the Gryffindor colours. It is the Gryffindor red."

Harry doesn't say anything but does look at her. The Quaffle flies mostly around her stomach and her back but sometimes somewhere else. The Bludgers are everywhere on the shirt. The Snitch however is always flying in the same place. The Snitch is flying around her breasts and if you want to catch the snitch you will surely cope a feel no matter how much you try to not do so.

Ginny asks "Harry do you like it?'

When Harry doesn't respond.

Ginny again asks "Harry do you like it?"

Harry still doesn't respond until Hermione waves her hand in front of his face.

Harry blinks his eyes and says "sorry? What?"

Ginny asks again "Harry do you like it?"

Harry says "yeah, it is so you and looks like the red Gryffindor colour. Do you want it?"

Ginny nods and says "yes. It is too bad I can't wear it in the muggle world."

The woman says "actually miss, there are two charms so you can wear them in the muggle world. If you say only the word catch everything stops moving on the shirt. But if you use it in a sentence it doesn't work. Catch."

Just as she said catch the Quaffle, Bludgers, Snitch stops moving.

"If you say what was it ah … yes. If you say soccer the ball while for muggles see as a normal soccer ball. If you say Quidditch everybody will see it as it is. If you want to restart the flying of the balls you need to say release the balls. Release the balls!"

The balls start to fly around. The woman says "normally it is ten Galleons but for you, as you buy it for your girlfriend it is five Galleons."

Harry and Ginny blush. Hannah, Susan and Hermione giggle. Harry says "that is very nice but she isn't my girlfriend. I will pay full price."

The woman smiles and says "that is being very honest but still I won't take more than five Galleons and if she isn't your girlfriend I won't take long before she will."

Ginny blushes even harder, so hard her face almost has the same colour as her hair. When Harry wants to ensure the woman, is mistaken Ginny grabs his hand to drag him away followed by the others. Harry managed to drop five Galleons on the counter.

When they were far away Ginny let go of his hand. She then realizes what she has done and blushes even more. She quickly takes a few steps away and the girls immediately drag a few feet further. When Harry wants to join Hermione says "Harry we need a minute is that alright?"

Harry just nods and lets the girls whisper a few feet away while he tries to find Ron, but he doesn't see him anymore although he knows he is somewhere stuffing his face.

From the treeline, towards the campsite, Harry and the girls are being watched by a couple of other girls. They don't know what is going on. The first thing the first few saw was Harry being dragged away from a stall by Ginny.

Let's end here for now. I wanted to reach the Quidditch match and maybe even the aftermath but unfortunately, I couldn't in this chapter.

In the next chapter, we see who Harry, Hermione, Ginny and maybe Ron if they find him meet see from Hogwarts. The Quidditch match where Harry finally sees the Wronski Feint and the first fight in the second wizarding war although Voldemort hasn't returned (yet).
