It is my first Harry Potter story. Will be Harry/Multi (Harem) and probably Neville/Multi. It will start at the beginning of the third year. Slow build-up. A smarter Harry and more friends. Earlier real friends with Neville and Ginny. Can be long between updates. Bashing RW/AD/?. We have reached the fourth year how will the earlier changes change the tournament and relationships?

Chapter 47 the surprises and from France with love

25th August 1994, Diagon Alley

Mrs. Weasley leaves the Leaky Cauldron as she flooed into the Leaky Cauldron from the Burrow. First, she needs to go to Gringotts to get some money from Harry's vault for his dress robes and the supplies for the coming school year. Then she needs to go to their family vault. Get the Galleons they put aside for Ginny's dress robes earlier this summer when the books list came and her dress robes were optional. She needs to get more Galleons which will put a strain on their finances despite the extra money Mr. Weasley made. Fortunately, Percy has graduated. That is also the reason Ginny can get a new dress robe and have enough money left to get the supplies for the new year although it wouldn't be new and the boys will get second-hand robes.

Just as she reaches the stairs of Gringotts she hears someone call her. From the side, a ragged looking man walks toward her.

When the man is just a few feet away he says "good morning Mrs. Weasley. I think you don't remember me but your husband Arthur probably does. My name is Remus Lupin."

Mrs. Weasley says "Mr. Lupin I remember Arthur talking about you many years ago before You-Know-Who was gone. Are you family from Professor Lupin who was the defence against the dark arts professor last year at Hogwarts?"

Remus says "no I am not family but I am ….. sorry was Professor Lupin last year and before you ask yes I am a werewolf."

Mrs. Weasley says "besides you being a werewolf according to my children and sweet Harry I have no problem with that. You were the best defence against the dark arts teacher they have ever had all five of my children said. I trust Dumbledore and if he trusts you so will I. What can I do for you?"

Remus gives a small smile to not show his displeasure with Dumbledore. Remus was with Sirius for the last two months and when they talked both he and Sirius have lost all trust and respect in Dumbledore, especially with the revelation Harry lives with his relatives and not with Sirius's cousins and therefore Harry's cousins Andromeda Tonks and her husband Ted Tonks and daughter Nymphadora Tonks.

Remus wanted to meet Harry to make sure he knows Sirius is alright, at a safe place with Buckbeak and after meeting Harry he will go back. Harry sends them that he wouldn't go to Diagon Alley as Mrs. Weasley will during the World Quidditch Cup final for the supplies. Sirius wants to buy the supplies Harry needs for school including the dress robes. Sirius wrote a letter that Remus brought to Gringotts.

The letter is to give Remus access to the House of Black vault for the day and a key that will disappear at the end of the day. Sirius wants Remus to buy also the Weasley's supplies and for Remus to find out if Ginny and Hermione also need a dress robe and buy it for them. Remus had said that it wouldn't work as Arthur will never accept charity and Molly is even more against it. Sirius had already pushed it with the new owl for Ron.

Sirius tried to reason that they have helped the first three years when he couldn't but Remus said that knowing Arthur he wouldn't mind at all. Sirius finally relented and said that Remus needs to try and otherwise only do the things for Harry and will think about other ways to repay them.

Remus had said, "it won't work Padfoot there is no way you can give them something that they will accept."

Sirius is racking his brain but he also can't think of anything at least when Remus left a few days ago.

Remus sees Mrs. Weasley looking at him and he remembers her question.

He says "I am sorry I was lost in thoughts. I came here as Harry said you would be here although I didn't ask for it. I wanted to meet Harry and help him with his supplies for this year and the dress robes Harry mentioned in his letters. I hope you wouldn't mind that I will buy his supplies."

Mrs. Weasley says "Mr. Lupin I do….."

Remus says "please Mrs. Weasley call me Remus."

Mrs. Weasley nods and says "well them Remus I do not want you to use your hard-earned money for Harry. I think he has enough to buy for his own and I am sure that Madam Malkin has robes with good quality that Harry can pay."

Remus knows what Sirius said and knows Sirius will come to England himself if Remus can't do it or fails.

Remus says "Mrs. Weasley if you give me Harry's measurements I will take care of it."

Mrs. Weasley is considering and asks "are you sure Remus? I wouldn't mind doing it."

Remus says "please let me Mrs. Weasley. I want to do this for Harry."

Mrs. Weasley says "right but I think Harry should use his own money for the supplies he needs. Also, I wouldn't ask if it wasn't needed but maybe the dress robes can have a resizing rune as Harry should get a growth spurt soon I think."

When Remus nods Mrs. Weasley had Remus a small bit of parchment with Harry's measurement. Remus says "thank you Mrs. Weasley. Should we meet after you are done at Gringotts and I at Madam Malkin at Flourish and Blotts?"

Mrs. Weasley says "that is possible but if you go to Madam Malkin can I ask you for a favour?"

Remus says "sure Mrs. Weasley what do you need?"

Mrs. Weasley says "I need four Hogwarts robes one for my daughter, one for my youngest son and two for my twin sons. If you can get me I will pay you back at Flourish and Blotts."

Remus smiles as he will buy it but doesn't request it back and will even refuse if she does. Sirius wants me to take every chance I get to repay the Weasleys.

Remus says "of course, I will. I think we can better move as I think some stores close sooner than later for the Quidditch World Cup. Some may have tickets while others want to listen on the Wizarding Wireless Network."

25th August 1994, Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, Diagon Alley

Remus walks in a sees that as excepted and like the rest of Diagon Alley only a few people are around. In Madam Malkin, nobody is around except Madam Malkin herself and a girl just out of Hogwarts or a sixth or seventh year stocking the clothing racks. He wanted to give everyone above OWL even if they didn't get an OWL for defence against the dark arts lessons but with his every month recurring furry problem, needing other teachers and the rules he couldn't. That is why isn't sure if the girl is still in school or not also there are other schools than Hogwarts in Great Britain.

Madam Malkin sees Remus and asks "welcome sir. What can I do for you?"

Remus says "I am here to order a dress robe for a boy. He can't be here but I do have his measurements. Could I be tailored with the measurements and without the boy present?"

Madam Malkin says "of course. I guess the boy is at least a third year at Hogwarts?"

Remus says "well yes but he is a fourth-year student. If possible I want the dress robe, to be made from Acromantula silk."

Madam Malkin looks at Remus. Not wanting to be rude she asks "are you sure Sir? Acromantula silk is quite expensive especially if you want to make a whole dress robe with it. Also, it will take some time to complete. I will not be able to make it before the start of the school year. I got a lot of orders, I think it will take at least until Halloween."

Remus says "that is no problem I guess. Although I don't know when it is needed."

Madam Malkin looks at the girl and the girl understands she walks to the back of the store out of earshot.

Madam Malkin says "I heard that it is for Yule apparently there is some event at Hogwarts. There is going to be a Yule ball because of the event."

Remus asks "will the dress robe from Acromantula silk be done in time?"

Madam Malkin says "yes the dress robe will be. Is there something special you want?"

Remus says "in a matter of fact, yes. We want to dress robe we want dark green with red line at every inch at the end of the robes not only his sleeves but also the underside of his robe, along the whole side as he is Gryffindor after all."

Madam Malkin asks "the red line also of silk?"

Remus nods and says "yes also from Acromantula silk."

Madam Malkin says "if you can give me the measurements I can see how much it will cost and if that is alright with you."

Remus gave her the measurements. Madam Malkin asks "are you sure this is right. He looks kind of small for a fourth year."

Remus says "yes I am sure although I think he will get a growth spurt in the coming months so I also want a resizing rune woven into the silk of the robe."

Madam Malkin asks "are you sure sir as it is difficult to do that in silk it is quite pricey but as it is pricey we do offer three runes for the price of two runes if you want more than one."

Remus says "I would like the resizing rune and heating rune for when it is cold and a cooling rune for when it is warm. Can that be done?"

Madam Malkin nods and says "of course, that will be 878 Galleons."

Remus says "I would like to pay now."

Madam Malkin says "as you want Acromantula silk we want most customers to pay the whole price upfront if you don't mind."

Remus nods and says "sure if you draft it up I will press the key on the parchment and then I should be sent to the goblins and be in the account not later than the end of the day."

Madam Malkin nods and says "yes. Sir as you look like you know about the muggle world I may suggest that you ask for information at Gringotts about a card that can be used in the muggle world but also in the magical world. I don't know if it works already but that should be easier than using the key like you imply as the goblins will take a 5% fee so that would probably round up at 44 Galleons so the whole price should be 922 Galleons."

Remus says "that is no problem."

Remus has the key that is of the Black family Vault that has more than enough Galleons in it. Madam Malkin shows Remus the draft he pushes the key on it. The parchment lights up. In only a few seconds it dies down and Madam Malkin says "it seems it is accepted and should be paid. I am sorry Sir but I didn't think you had the money."

Remus says "I can understand. When can I pick the dress robe up?"

Madam Malkin says "is the 1st of November alright? I am not sure if I can have it done earlier as I don't have the required Acromantula silk in store. As I get it from the continent as there are no known Acromantula nests in Great Britain."

Remus says "that is understandable. I also want two Hogwarts robes like in that size with resizing runes and two a bit larger although I don't know how much bigger. That is for an almost 15-year-old girl. I also want her two Hogwarts robes with resizing runes. Yes Sir I take it you want them no later than 31st of August."

Remus nods and Madam Malkin says "I think that can be done. Is there anything else I can help you with?"

Remus says "actually you can, I need one robe nothing fancy just a normal robe will do but if needed I need to be able to wear it also in the muggle world."

Madam Malkin says "of course sir if you will step behind that screen I can take your measurements and we can take a look."

Madam Malkin called the girl from the backroom to take care of the counter while she will help Remus. Remus doesn't hear the name Madam Malkin used.

Almost 15 minutes later Remus has bought two robes that look the most like muggle suits instead of one at Madam Malkin's insistence. It is the same material as Hogwarts robes. He immediately buys eight others Hogwarts robes with resizing runes and pays for them. The Hogwarts robes need to have the resizing rune woven in. It won't take as long as the Acromantula silk for Harry but it will also take until the 31st of August so Remus agreed. He says that all the robes are for the Weasleys family and that he will come back later today if they need to be sent or not and to make sure that the robes are packaged in the large package by two.

25th August 1994, Flourish and Blotts, Diagon Alley

When he sees the bookstore he sees Mrs. Weasley in front of it. She sees the bag and asks "are that the robes?"

Remus says "no Mrs. Weasley. I thought as your children are still growing to have resizing runes been woven in the Hogwarts robes. I thought it would be better if they got two so I ordered two for each of your children and also two for Hermione and Harry. Madam Malkin needed some time as she said they will be done on the 31st of August I hope that is alright? Harry's dress robes unfortunately take some longer but I will pick them up and make sure Harry gets the dress robe in time. I also bought two robes that I can also wear in the muggle world that is why I didn't mind doing it."

Mrs. Weasley says "I don't have the money to pay you back Remus. The resizing runes are very expensive even if it is only for a Hogwarts robe and with everything that can happen at Hogwarts that you need new robes many don't buy them with resizing runes also the runes will fade and lose power over time with the material Hogwarts robes are made of."

Remus says "you don't have to pay me back Mrs. Weasley. I am more than happy to pay for those robes. I also already paid them. I cannot pick them up so I put them in your name. I said that I will come back later as I didn't know if you want to pick it up or want it to send to your house. If you want she sends them to you when they are done."

Mrs. Weasley says "I can't take that Remus. I don't like charity."

Remus says "it isn't charity. I was a good friend of Harry's father. Because I am a werewolf I am not allowed to become Harry's guardian and therefore I want to do something for your family. It isn't much but I hope that in the coming years' Harry and I can do more."

Mrs. Weasley says "you don't have to Remus …."

Remus says "but I want to. Why don't you let me buy the books and supplies for your children? I mean if your daughter or one of your sons has ancient runes it is a good idea to get a new rune kit as I am more than happy to buy that for your children. If you want I won't do more than a normal Hogwarts rune kit. The same goes for Arithmancy but then the newest book is important. If you don't want this see it as Harry thanking you for taking care of him. Does that make it easier?"

Mrs. Weasley knows that they don't have enough more for what Remus wants to pay. She heavily considers accepting it as it can help her twin sons and Ginny.

(A/N #1) Her twins have managed to get the Arithmancy and Ancient Runes OWL's with EE which means they can take the advanced NEWT classes. Maybe if I say that Harry was nice enough to give them the new books and kits they will take it seriously or at least tries to.

Mrs. Weasley says "alright Remus. I will accept it but only this year if it pleases Harry the poor dear although it isn't needed. I will pay for at least half of the books and potion ingredients kit for Ginny and the runes kit for the twins though. Everything else I pay like a new cauldron and owl treats for Ron's new owl but not limited to those things."

Remus smiles as they start getting the books. It is almost two hours later that they got all the books, supplies and new runes kits and potion ingredients kit for the Weasley's and Harry as Hermione like normal already had everything she needs for the new school year.

Before they each go their separate ways Remus says "I will go to Madam Malkin and make sure she will send the robes so you can get them before the train will leave. I also bought two for Harry and two for Hermione as a surprise so to say and they will also be sent to you I will make sure of that. I do hope Mrs. Weasley you can keep it a secret about me getting Harry his dress robes."

Mrs. Weasley gives him a sharp look and says "sure Remus but you better do that for Harry or you will feel my fury."

Remus says "I promise Mrs. Weasley everything I said today is the truth."

Mrs. Weasley seems to believe Remus and says "good. Now if you will excuse me I need to go home and make sure everyone has the supplies they need. I think I should at least thank you for everything."

Remus says "that is not needed. I prefer however that you not tell Harry or anyone else. Harry doesn't want to draw attention even if it is from your family."

Mrs. Weasley says "I will not tell anyone except Arthur he needs to know."

Remus doubts before he says "Alright Arthur can know, but please no one else, not even Professor Dumbledore although I don't think he asks."

Mrs. Weasley reluctantly agrees but she must admit she also thanks she wouldn't see Dumbledore so he can't ask.

25th August 1994, the Burrow

Is late in the afternoon when Mrs. Weasley hears the floo. Dumbledore is in the fire and asks if he can come through. Mrs. Weasley, of course, allows Professor Dumbledore to come through. She hopes Dumbledore won't ask her if something happened. While she promised she wouldn't tell and although she didn't give an unbreakable oath she will not break her promise as it will hurt poor Harry probably if she breaks the promise to his father's good friend."

When Dumbledore walks through she immediately offers tea that Dumbledore immediately agrees.

He first says "Molly I have a letter for young Ronald could you make sure he gets it? It is for his eyes only and he must not lose it."

Mrs. Weasley agrees. She is curious but if Professor Dumbledore says it is only for Ron she will not open it or question Ron about it.

Mrs. Weasley suddenly gets hit under the table with a spell shot by Dumbledore. He cast a spell wordless that will make Mrs. Weasley fall asleep. He points his wand at her and says "the greater good must be allowed to come to pass no matter the cost so if this is what it takes then so be it I hope in the future you can see the way I do but for now the potion Severus brewed must be enough. Sorry, Molly I really am but the greater good must be served. Harry needs to be shown the way of the greater good and pushed in the right direction."

"Hermione isn't the right girl for him. Your daughter must be to give birth to many purebloods and with the rumoured fortune in the Potter family vault he can father many children and I can make sure Ginevra will bear many of his children if needed. Let's hope she bears many boys just like you. Maybe I need to also consider another girl to make sure Harry also gets girls. Just who trusts me enough to follow me?"

Dumbledore has many ideas but none of his most loyal supporters besides Molly has a daughter that can capture Harry's heart although sometimes all you need is a potion to make things work. Still to be sure nobody thinks something suspicious is going on. He needs to find a family where most girls are born in the last generations and also trust him without a thought as Molly does. He needs to find a family that never showed a side or like the Greengrasses decide to not choose a side, be part of the neutral faction and even be a leader.

Dumbledore needs Potter girls as all wizards like young girls. Harry needs to kill Voldemort so all the wizards that were foolish enough to follow Voldemort can be redeemed. The daughters of Harry Potter the saviour unfortunately died when he tried to kill Voldemort once and for all and left all his children in his care when he and his wife and mistresses died. Maybe he needs to give Harry peace after Voldemort and let Harry and his wife and mistresses face only the last enemy. All for the greater good.

Dumbledore thinks 'maybe I need to reconsider House Bones, Amelia is the problem. I think Susan will fall in line if I want to. For the Greater Good. Amelia is still an important woman otherwise, the Greater Good would have her killed when her brother and sister-in-law were killed. Amelia left in time with Susan for that night to let them spend time alone.'

Dumbledore says "I will think about it later. Now let's hope Severus managed to make the potion I requested."

He grabs six vials out of his pocket. He makes sure Mrs. Weasley drinks while she is asleep and makes secret storage in the kitchen only Mrs. Weasley and he knows the location and how to access it. He put the order in her mind to drink one every week and when she has only two left to let him know without letting others know. According to Snape they should work about a week and take about a month to make. The ingredients are regulated but Dumbledore is sure with his connections, authority and having a school he can import everything he needs with a few other things as a ruse. If he gets questioned about some potion ingredients he can use the excuse he needs it for education purposes.

While Mrs. Weasley is asleep he put more orders, ideas and 'suggestions' in her mind especially that Harry and Ginny should be together but also Ronald and Hermione. Also, he gives her the idea to let Arthur draft a marriage contract between Ginny and Harry that he will sign as Harry's magical guardian. He thinks he still is as Sirius needed to flee again. He wonders if his idea to let Hermione and Harry free Sirius with the chance that Hermione gets bitten by Remus was a good idea but he immediately thinks it is a good idea and would have worked if the Greater Good obviously haven't got another part for her she needs to play even if he needs to intervene 'slightly'.

It took almost an hour to have given Mrs. Weasley enough orders and gives her a loyalty potion keyed into him although she is already very loyal. This is just to be sure Mrs. Weasley doesn't stray from him. He also planted in Mrs. Weasley's mind that if Ginny marries Harry and Ronald with Hermione that Mrs. Weasley gets a part of the Potter fortune if something may happen to Harry and Ginny.

He takes his seat and wakes Mrs. Weasley up. She sees the time and says "oh Professor Dumbledore I am sorry I was probably a bit tired."

Professor Dumbledore uses his smile and says "no matter Molly. I can understand as if I heard correctly the closest Portkey was early in the morning and I am sure you made breakfast for your family, Harry and Hermione."

Mrs. Weasley says "of course I did. I didn't know if they have time or took the time when they get there I couldn't let them go without."

Dumbledore looks into her eyes and his eyes twinkle which shows he is using Legilimency on her.

He says "of course, that is why you are a good mother Molly not to mention your delicious food."

Dumbledore smiles. Mrs. Weasley thinks he is happy with her. However, that is only partly true. The other part is that his suggestion and ideas take hold besides the idea to have Arthur draft a marriage contract. What pleases Dumbledore the most is that she is overjoyed that Dumbledore is proud of her almost like a house-elf who pleases her master.

Dumbledore stands up and says "as always you had delicious tea and I would like to have another cup but unfortunately I can't. I have many things to do before the new school year as there will be a big event which is also way robes are needed as all fourth years and up are expected to attend. I don't want to give you much information but all your children will be safe. No doubt about that."

Mrs. Weasley says "I am sure they are with you there Professor Dumbledore. Next time come by please stay for dinner if you have the time. I would love to make food for more than just Arthur."

Dumbledore says "if I have the time I will surely do that but today is not that day. If you will excuse me and allow you floo I would be grateful."

Mrs. Weasley immediately agrees. Dumbledore walks to the floo and calls out "Hogwarts Headmaster's office" before he walks and disappears into the green flames.

25th August 1994, Director of the DMLE tent, Quidditch World Cup

Amelia walks in with Susan and Hannah.

Amelia says "girls I forget to mention that the France ambassador is also the deputy minister of magic from France so we need to be on our best behaviour."

A few minutes later Amelia got a letter and she says "of course he does."

Susan asks "what is wrong Auntie?"

Amelia says "nothing is wrong Susie. However, we are to only ones to have dinner with the France ambassador who is the deputy minister of magic from France with his daughters who are around your age. Minister Fudge has dinner with the ambassador from Ireland and Bulgaria as they are the finalists and Mr. Crouch and Mr. Bagman too. He thinks it is better for me the director of the DMLE and Regent of the most ancient and most noble House of Bones to meet and have dinner with the France Ambassador also as I met him before last year when Sirius Black was on the loose although he still is."

25th August 1994, France ambassador tent, Quidditch World Cup (everything said is in French)

Almost two hours later a group appear with a portkey. In the middle, was a man with two daughters and around them were wizards and witches ready to attack or defend. The man says "thank you all. You can take your position. We will go to dinner in half an hour."

The wizards and witches nod and leave them alone taking the places around the France tent. Only the four witches stay inside near the entrance while all the wizards go outside.

The father and his two daughters walk to the kitchen. Just when they are in the kitchen the father asks his oldest "my daughter what is wrong?"

She says "nothing is wrong, father."

The father says "nice try. Should I floo your mother? Is it a Veela thing?"

The girl says "yes it is a Veela thing but you don't need to call mother. I …I feel my mate. He is here at the Quidditch World Cup. I can barely control my Veela to seek him out. I only barely felt him before. For me to feel it like this means he is here. Mother perpetrated me for it, that is also the only reason I am not outside now trying to find my mate don't matter how long it will take a probably attack every man that comes close that is my mate except you father as you are family and my father."

The man nodded. The little girl says "I am so happy for you."

The oldest smiles and says "you will find yours too in a couple of years, ma sœur."

The youngest blushed as she says "I wouldn't be able to find him now but I do feel a small pull."

The oldest hugs the younger girl and says "I am so happy for you. You are just like me I also started to feel a pull when I was your age although I was only when I was in England. It seems I am not the only one who gets a brutish Brit as a mate."

Both girls giggle while their father put his hand on his forehead while shaking his head but can't suppress the smile on his face although the girls can't see it as their father's head was bent down.

It takes a couple of minutes before the father says "Fleur I am so happy for you and you to Gabrielle when we get home I think you should tell your mother. For now, try to focus on the Quidditch World Cup final and your best manners to be on your best behaviour."

Fleur becomes red from anger and he says "Fleur I don't mean you need to forget your mate. I will never ask that of you as your mother will kill me over and over again. It will crush you and certainly hurt your Veela."

Fleur's anger decreases a bit and says "I am sorry for getting mad Dad….. father."

Her father hugs her and says "that is no problem, my daughter I am just sorry that it sounded like I ask you to forget your mate. Although I doubt it would work even if I asked. No, I take a good big cup of coffee as the British don't know how to make a good cup. Do any of you want something to drink?"

Gabrielle says "no Daddy."

Fleur says "no I need to meditate so my Veela doesn't break through for the chance I lose concentration. I hope my mate is at least mostly resisted for the Allure especially my Allure like you are father for mother."

Her father says "to be honest I am not really able to resist her allure, especially at the beginning. I am mostly resisted against now unless she let her full Allure go. When she told me what Veela want in her mate can resist the allure at least partly that is one of the biggest wishes among other things."

"I was afraid when she told me she would leave me as I know I wasn't. She told me she knew I wasn't able to resist her. She said most aren't only a very few wizards can resist the Allure and even if they 'can resist' the Allure they will feel a pull or something she never explained. Anyway, she said that while I fell under her Allure I was the most normal as even man with more willpower and were master Occlumenses fell under her Allure."

"She said that as I was the most normal it means that my love for her was stronger than her Allure and as I didn't drool or things like that means I love her enough and was at least able to resist her allure a little so my love could be shown although some may still love you even if the drool when you use the Allure."

Both his daughters were hanging on his lips as he never told much about how he met their mother and the problem of her Allure as all the other men that saw their mother became enthralled within a second. They always wondered about their father and his struggle with her Allure.

Both girls know that (their) Veela has allure and don't see it as a struggle but they can understand men that really love a Veela can struggle with it and their mother told her that Veela's are attracted to men who can resist their Allure or has a stronger emotion for them what can make the Allure less effective like their fathers love for their mother.

Half an hour later their father says "girls get ready we have dinner in 15 minutes with the director of the DMLE instead of the minister. I guess he has dinner with the Ireland ambassador and the Bulgarian Ambassador, not that I mind. I never really liked Fudge."

When the girls come into the living room to accompany their father as they did many times before when needed.

He says "if I remember correctly the Director of the DMLE has a niece around both your age. She would be around 14 years I guess. So she is 3 years younger than you Fleur and about 2 years older than you Gabrielle. Be nice to her alright?"

Fleur and Gabby nod. Fleur says "we will father."

Her father smiles and says "I know you both have trouble with the English language but please try to talk English we are in England after all so it will only be polite if we at least try to talk their language."

Fleur and Gabby understand that and while their father speaks English almost flawlessly as France's Ambassador for England and in his secondary job being the deputy minister of France knowing other languages.

He is deputy as France is close to England and if something may happen in France like a revolution and the minister got hurt or killed. Alain Delacour could then take control of the remaining ministry of French from a safe place especially if the minister couldn't get to one of the safe houses spread out in the country. Alain has also his own personal (and family) safe house as do other high ministry officials of the France ministry.

25th August 1994, Director of DMLE tent, World Quidditch Cup

Amelia, Susan and Hannah were in the living room of the tent. They were waiting for the France Ambassador. Amelia has met Alain before and the last year with Sirius on the loose she met Alain a few times especially when the French Minister wanted an update or when there was big news.

One of Amelia's Aurors comes into the tent and says "Director Bones the France Ambassador and his daughters are here."

Amelia says "thank you, Kingsley. Susan and Hannah please go to the kitchen already and ask Kimmy if she can serve the dinner. Kingsley let them in."

Kingsley nods and steps out to let them in.

Amelia sees Alain and says "good evening Alain. I hope you have had a good summer until now?"

Alain nods and says "yes, the summer was great I like to spend time with my daughters when they are not at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic and of course also like to spend time with my wife. Luckily as also being the Deputy Minister of France I can be home and spend time with my wife a lot if she isn't with me here in England."

They hear "Madam Bones dinner is ready."

They see Hannah standing in the doorway to the kitchen. Amelia says "thank you, Hannah. Alain this is Hannah she is the best friend of my niece, Susan. Susan is in the kitchen. If you and your daughters will follow me."

Alain, Fleur and Gabrielle follow Amelia into the kitchen.

25th August 1994, Kitchen, Director of DMLE tent, Quidditch World Cup

The moment they walk in and see Susan Fleur gets mad. She can sense her mate all over her. Is not sexual of nature but she certainly smells it is her mate that is all over the girl. She knows it is her mate's scent, not the girls or she wouldn't be so mad. Also, the smell of her mate is masculine, from a man, not this young girl.

She thinks 'why does this young girl has my mate's smell all over him. How do I even know this is my mate's smell? Mom never told me I would recognize his smell without ever seeing him or smelling him. Is it my magic that sense it is his smell? Does that mean he is around the same age as this young girl? If he is I can easily seduce him to become my mate as he should be. I never want to steal a boyfriend as my ex-friends claimed but only he can be my mate. I must admit she has a nice heart-shaped face and large breasts for her age but that doesn't mean I won't get my mate. I will get him no matter what I am still a Veela and we are known for our beauty I won't let this little girl get my mate.'

Alain sees anger in his oldest daughter. Amelia hasn't noticed and she says "this is my niece Susan she and her best friend Hannah are in House Hufflepuff and starting their fourth year at Hogwarts."

Alain says "nice to meet you. These are my daughter. This is my oldest Fleur she will start in her last year at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. My youngest Gabrielle will start her second year at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic."

Amelia, Susan and Hannah greet them. Fleur doesn't greet them back because of her anger. Gabrielle doesn't know why but feels a little annoyed with Susan but tries to friendly greet them back.

Amelia notices Fleur's anger but when she wants to ask if something is wrong Alain says "well let's go to eat. We want to be done in time for the match."

Amelia reluctantly lets go of Fleur's clear anger and will ask Alain later.

She says "yes we better do. I asked Kimmy to also make some French cuisine. She has never done it before so I hope it will taste good and a bit like it needs to be."

Alain says "well at least looks like it should so I think it will taste alright. Please thank her for her effort and I think after this dinner you can also thank her as it will be good especially as she has never done it before."

The dinner is uneventful except Fleur keeps glaring at Susan and never said a word because she is barely able to keep her Veela inside and not attack Susan. Sometimes the Veela breaks through a bit by making Fleur's blue eyes turn into yellow eyes, her Veela's eyes.

Gabrielle on the other hand was talking with an accent with Hannah and sometimes Susan who sees intimated by Fleur. Amelia had her wand ready the whole dinner for the chance Fleur attacks Susan or something similar.

After dinner, Alain says "thank you for the wonderful dinner. I expect to see you in the minister box at the match. If you will excuse me and my daughters."

Amelia nods. When Alain left with his daughters Susan says "auntie did I do something wrong to Fleur. I mean she looks very mad at me for some reason."

Susan starts crying as she continues "I was very scared and afraid she would hurt me. I just tried to be nice and maybe would be friends or at least be friendly with her."

Amelia hugs her and Hannah immediately does too. Amelia says "it is alright Susie. We need to be in the ministry box for the match. If you want I can make sure to keep you away from Fleur and not let her close to you. I will ask Alain if there was a problem, but I don't think I can ask before the match as the match starts in 15 minutes. Is that alright?"

Susan considers it before she nods and says "yes Auntie. Thank you."

Susan hugs Amelia and Hannah back. Almost 5 minutes later they let go and they go change for a nightly Quidditch World Cup Final.

25th August 1994, France Ambassador tent, Quidditch World Cup

Alain walks in followed by his daughters.

Alain turns around but instead of being mad he looks concerned and asks "Fleur what happened in there."

Fleur screams "MY MATE. MY MATE'S SCENT IS ALL OVER HER. I COULD SMELL IT. I COULDN'T KNOW IT WAS MY MATE BUT I SMELLED THE MASCULINE SCENT …. I think my magic knows it is my mate's scent. The only way she can have my mate's scent is if she had spent a lot of time with my mate and that should be today otherwise the scent would be fainter. I think she even hugged my mate because the scent is very …."

Fleur's eyes turn yellow and start to groan angrily. Alain normally would let her work it out but the match will start in fifteen minutes and he needs to be in the ministry box with his daughters.

Alain put his arm on her shoulder and says "Fleur it is alright. I don't know for sure but Susan is not in a relationship otherwise Amelia would probably know and talked about it during dinner what she didn't."

Fleur says "I don't care it is my mate. I can only be happy with that guy. I don't care if I need to steal him…."

Alain looks shocks at Fleur and asks "how dare you, Fleur? What would your mother say? You hate that Veela's are seen as marriage breakers and boyfriend stealers. Do you really want to prove them right? Especially the English think Veela's are like that. I love you, but if Susan has a relationship I think you need to talk with her."

Fleur says "sorry dad but a Veela can only have one mate even if the mate dies no new mate will appear."

Fleur starts crying and says "I am sorry Daddy but I can't live without my mate. I need to find my mate. If I can't or my mate doesn't accept me, my Veela will be hurt and I will be hurt an…"

Fleur cries more and her words can't be heard anymore. Gabrielle immediately hugs Fleur. Alain sees the pain and immediately hugs Fleur and Gabby. He asks "Fleur can you try to not act mad at her? You will see her again in the ministry box and I don't want an incident."

Fleur is sobbing as says "I can try. Maybe if I am not sitting close near her like at the dinner table and more people around will prevent my Veela from attacking."

"I need to ask mother, how this can be! Veela's will know when they see their mate. My Veela can find my mate by magic. With all the wizards (and witches) around and all the magic, I can feel him but I can probably not find him easily if at all. I wonder why I know that Susan has my mate's scent I never read or heard anything before that a Veela knows their mate scent before I ever have seen my mate and be close enough to know his scent."

Alain asks "you can ask your mother when we get back. We leave tomorrow morning. Fleur can you control your Veela until then to not find your mate and not attack anyone no matter how strong the scent is."

Fleur says "I will try father. It was just unexpected that Susan had it. I will meditate for a few minutes before I will quickly change I need to look good for the chance I meet my mate.

Fleur has stopped sobbing and goes to her bedroom.

Alain screams "Fleur we only have fifteen minutes."

Fleur doesn't respond. Alain looks at Gabrielle and asks "can you help your sister get ready when you are done?"

Gabrielle smiles and says "Yes Daddy. I will but I don't know if fifteen minutes is enough?"

Alain asks "can you at least try? Maybe you can start while she meditates?"

Gabrielle says "I will try Daddy."

Gabrielle gives her father a bright smile before going to her bedroom and walks with some clothes to Fleur's bedroom. Alain walks to his own bedroom to change his clothes as the nightly match was no place for the fancy robes he wore for the dinner.

25th August 1994, Ministry Box, Quidditch Stadium, Quidditch World Cup

They were barely on time. As they were the last to enter without their Aurors as they were outside with their British counterparts everybody looked at them except Susan who immediately averted her eyes to the ground.

Fleur is feeling guilty being mad at Susan without knowing that this guy is her mate and she needs him whoever it may be. Fleur knows she will do almost anything to get him.

All the men are looking at her being attracted by her Allure. It seems all the men besides the Ambassadors of Ireland and Bulgaria are weak-minded as they were basically drooling. What Fleur finds the most interesting is that the wife of one of them looks like she doesn't care that her husband and son are drooling and trying to impress her. Fleur herself must admit the woman is quite pretty and normally all women and girls whose husbands or boyfriends look at her like they do now will be very mad.

After she sat a few minutes later her anger from mostly her Veela rise again when the Bulgarian national mascots are revealed to be Veela's. Her Veela thinks that those Veela try to steal her mate which makes her mad and in response, her Allure went out of control. Gabrielle's Allure also went out of control to help her sister and Veela. Veela's will never react to Veela's from their family or close friends. They will even help and that is happening now. For Gabrielle, it is hard as this is the first time her Allure is out of control and she feels her Allure also is affecting all the men in the box who couldn't decide where to look. The two Veela's in the Ministry Box or the many Veela's on the field.

When the Veela's dance finally stops and the Allure blast is gone Fleur's and Gabrielle's Veela also stops and it feels to them that they won as the Veela's on the field stopped as first with using the Allure. Fleur and Gabrielle remember the dance from what their mother told them. That dance is also known as "the seduction" as the dance is to seduce men which make women jealous but it is forbidden to do it in public and only done for your mate in France and the Veela community in France.

The match is over and they were guided back by the French Aurors when Alain went to Amelia if he could talk to her. What Amelia accepted. Alain first went with his daughters back to their tent. He told them not to stay up too late and if they need him or anything the female Aurors are in the living room of the tent can help them.

25th August 1994, Director of DMLE tent, Quidditch World Cup

Alain gets let in by one of the Aurors he has seen around. Amelia sees him walk in and says "girls get ready for bed while I talk with the France Ambassador. Amelia gives Hannah a 'small' hug and gives Susan a big hug. Alain notice Amelia saying something to Susan. They both said good night to Amelia and Alain.

When they closed the door to their bedroom Amelia looks sharply at Alain. She says "I don't like to beat around the bush unless it is needed. So can you tell me why your oldest daughter Fleur seems to hate my niece?"

Alain knew this is why Amelia accepts his request to talk.

Alain says "that is the reason I want to talk to you. I want to apologize for Fleur's reaction and attitude regarding your niece. However, it is not personal I can assure you that."

Amelia waits to see if he says anything more when he doesn't Amelia doesn't like it. He did not really answer her question.

She says "that is not an answer. If you say it is not personal then why did your daughter act like that? I severely disturbed my niece and it made her very sad. I almost needed to drag her to the ministry box for the match and needed to stay close to her."

Alain sighs and says "still it wasn't personal. Normally Fleur will always be friendly and try to make new friends. I can tell you the truth but you can't tell anyone else, especially your niece."

Amelia grabs her wand and says "I can take an oath if you prefer."

Alain says "that is not needed Amelia as I know how hard it is to keep something from my daughters if you think it would make her feel better and I know that you see Susan as your daughter. I trust you, Amelia, as you never lied to me or at least I think so and if you did it was never to endanger me or my country."

Amelia pocketed her wand and says "I will Alain. I will not tell anyone what you are going to tell me I promise and give you my word."

Alain nods and says "I believe you, Amelia. The reason Fleur didn't like Susan is that Fleur as Gabrielle and my wife, their mother are Veela's. They are not full blood Veela's but my mother-in-law is. Veela's get a pull around their first transformation to their mate. Both Fleur and Gabrielle have their pull before their first transformation. That means that both my daughters and their mate is powerful to make the connection although the wizard doesn't feel it. I do want to be clear that is only the Veela that is connected to the wizard, The wizard is not controlled to love the Veela."

"The Veela however only can love their mate that the connection made be by magic has been created. Even if the mate dies there is no other mate. Fleur as she had her second transformation and has hit her majority feel drawn to her mate. To be honest she already had that before her second transformation but that should be impossible but I digress. She doesn't have met her mate …. hopefully yet. She can almost track her mate down by his magic although with all the magic here it will be difficult to find him also with all the Veela and many countries don't see Veela as human but as mere creatures, I don't want them wandering around as the English laws are also not in my daughter's favour. The only defence is that they are my daughter and my Aurors. I digress again."

"What happened today is according to Fleur something that has never happened. The reason Fleur became mad at Susan is the scent Susan have or had on her. Fleur says it was a masculine smell so a man's scent. She says that she recognized it as her mate's scent. That should be impossible as she has never seen him and even if she has seen him she needs to smell his scent to recognise it."

"What I am telling you is and theory but I don't know for sure. It should mean that Fleur's magic notices the scent as her mate's scent. It means that his magic is strong enough to show her magic it is his scent at least that is what I think."

"What I do know for sure is that Fleur's Veela sees Susan as a rival for her mate's heart. Fleur as was Gabrielle has been learned that everything is allowed to claim a mate by my wife but she forgets to mention if he has a girlfriend you need to talk to the girlfriend. Although my wife did tell Fleur and Gabrielle not the be what most witches and wizards think Veela's are, as marriage breakers and boyfriend stealers but still do anything to get your mate."

"The girlfriend is requested to share what is hard for the girlfriend but also the Veela if the girlfriend allows or the mate loves them both and girlfriend what to try to share as the Veela will probably accept everything if she can be with her mate even if she tried to seduce him away from his girlfriend. If she succeeds her mate doesn't love his girlfriend completely. Veela's are a lack for better words a creature of lust which means their libido is high and have the Allure that makes men do dangerous things or make them fools like you have seen at the match. The girlfriend of the said wizard has probably less intimate time with her boyfriend ten before and before the Veela and that hurts the girlfriend."

"I will not go further at what the Veela's and girlfriends can decide as honestly, I don't know, Anyway, that is the reason why Fleur was mad at Susan and I don't know if you at the final when then Bulgaria team mascot the Veela's enter the field and use their Allure Fleur's Veela and Gabrielle Veela's to help her sister also started to blast their Allure as the Veela in Fleur thought that the other Veela's tried to seduce her mate. I am almost sure if the Veela's continued that they would have rushed to the pitch to fight them. So as I said it is nothing personal but it does give me the question if Susan has a boyfriend, is spending time with a strong wizard and probably even hugged the wizards as Fleur thinks Susan did."

Amelia is silenced and says "I don't think Susan has a boyfriend and for who she spends time wi…."

Amelia can't finish her sentence when an Auror rushes in and says "Director Bones we have a big problem Death Eaters are on the campsite and attack the muggle camp managers and burn tents while also attacking wizards and witches."

Amelia says "bloody hell. Alain, you better get your daughters and use your Portkey to get out of here."

Amelia turns to the Auror and says "notify all the Aurors including the ones at the ministry that we need them here immediately. Notify Arthur Weasley to gather his Aurors and meet with the other Aurors. I expect his older sons to come to and allow them to fight with us."

The Auror says "yes Director Bones."

Amelia says "before you go I need Kingsley, Tonks and Hestia Jones here now."

The Auror bows. Before Alain can leave Kingsley, Tonks and Hestia come in. Kingsley says "Director Bones you needed us."

Amelia says "yes."

Amelia picks up a cup and casts "Portus" and walks to the bedroom of Susan and Hannah. She wakes them up and forces them to immediately wear a long cloak over their nightgowns in Hufflepuff colours. She walks them into the living room.

"Kingsley and Tonks I want you to find Harry Potter and make sure he and his friends reach safety."

Amelia says where the tent should be. Kingsley says "we will look for him Director Bones. I guess he went with the others into the forest."

Amelia says "I doubt it with his luck he ran into the Death Eaters I want you to first look around the campsite around the Weasley's tent first."

Kingsley nods and says "we will go immediately."

Kingsley and Tonks leave the tent.

Amelia gives Hestia the cup and says "Susan and Hannah touch the cup."

Amelia says "you two need to go now. Hestia, you go with them and stay with them until I return. Is that understood?"

Hestia says "yes director Bones."

When Hestia, Susan and Hannah touch the cup. Amelia points to the wand and the cup and says "activate."

Without a sound Hestia, Susan and Hannah are gone.

Alain says "I need my daughters to return home with our Portkey."

They walk outside and see all the French Aurors. Alain asks "what are all of you doing here?"

One Auror steps forward and says "Monsieur Delacour I am sorry to say but we lost your daughters when the Death Eaters attacked."

Alain screams "YOU DID WHAT … HOW CAN YOU! WHY WERE THEY NOT IN THE TENT? WHY AREN'T YOU OUT THERE LOOKING FOR THEM!"

The Auror probably the captain says "Monsieur Delacour, they wanted to look around the campsite and maybe look at some of the remaining stalls. We thought with most of us with them it will be no problem, but when the Death Eaters attacked we were separated. Our formation was broken by all the people pushing and grabbing to getaway. We screamed to them to get here as soon as they could. When we lost visible we searched but didn't find them so we came here."

Alain says "you better find them or I will make sure you give you up to England and make sure you end up in Azkaban."

Alain looks to the side and says "Sebastien make sure that you find them."

Sebestien says "of course Monsieur Delacour."

Alain looks back at the captain and screams "WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR GO FIND THEM."

The captain says "but Monsieur Delacour we need to protect you. The second squad with Sebastien will look for them."

For a second nothing happened until Alain grabs the captain who is a couple of inches taller by his collar and pulls him face to face. Alain screams in his face "I DON'T NEED YOUR PROTECTION GO FIND MY DAUGHTERS OR I WILL LET AZKABAN SEE LIKE A SUMMER VACATION."

The captain looks afraid and screams "SPREAD OUT YOU HEARD THE DEPUTY MINISTER."

All the Aurors pop out while a couple of Auror run away to start searching.

Amelia doesn't know French and everything was said in French and asks "what is wrong Alain?"

Alain says "my daughters are missing. They went to look with the Aurors on the campsite and the formation broke when the Death Eaters attacked by the scared wizards and witches pushing to get away. We need to find them."

Amelia put her wand at her badge and says "I make sure all the Aurors look out for them and bring them to safety when they see them. I am sorry that is all I can do right now."

Alain says "I appreciate it but now we can also better look to find them. I knew I should have brought my own personal Aurors who I handpicked and not agree with the minister instead of sending an Auror group as he needs most of my personal Aurors for preparations for the tri-wizard tournament."

In the dark night, the smoke is still seen from the burning tents that light up the sky including the spellfire around the camp. The burning tents are almost creating a path to where the Death Eaters are going.

At the first tent that was set alight, that is nothing more reduced to rubble and the fire was extinguished many Aurors were gathering. When Amelia and Alain reach it from the other side Arthur with Bill, Charlie and a couple of his Aurors come up.

Amelia asks "Arthur are you alright? And you children, Harry and Hermione?"

Arthur says "we are fine. I don't know about my children I let the twins take care of Ginny and send all of them including Harry and Hermione to the woods where the portkey area was."

Amelia smiles. She needs Harry safe although she wonders if Fleur is Harry's mate. The marriage contract cannot be broken and thought 'this is just Harry's luck but I wonder if this is good or bad luck this time. Maybe but maybe Susan can get some kind of sister-wife if she accepts Fleur as I can't imagine Harry refusing Fleur as his wife or better-said mate as she can only love him. And what about Hermione and Ginny ar…..'

Amelia's thoughts get stopped when somewhere on the campsite an explosion is heard.

She asks her Aurors "how many Death Eaters are there?"

One Auror steps forward and says "we don't know for sure but at least a dozen."

Amelia says "alright move out. I would be a wonder if everyone managed to escape we need to protect everyone that is left behind. Arthur, I need you to fight with us and if possible save the muggles as I think the Death Eaters are torturing them one way or another."

Arthur nods before everyone moves out to safe people who were left behind and/ or injured and the muggles who probably think they went mental.

Let's end here for now. In the next chapter, we see the fighting and the aftermath of the attack. The next chapter will not be before I update the other stories at least once.

A/N #1 I know that according to the canon Fred and George had only three OWL's each but with all the great inventions I would think they got more OWL's than just three. They may be only got low EE's. EE is enough to continue for NEWT class if they want to. I think the twins will follow most classes they could continue although they may know NEWT requirements (in this story they will follow more classes than in canon and have more OWL's).
