It is my first Harry Potter story. Will be Harry/Multi (Harem) and probably Neville/Multi. It will start at the beginning of the third year. Slow build-up. A smarter Harry and more friends. Earlier real friends with Neville and Ginny. Can be long between updates. Bashing RW/AD/?. We have reached the fourth year how will the earlier changes change the tournament and relationships?

55. Arriving back in England

Chapter 55 Ron's true nature, Harry wants to help house-elves, Tonks resolve, Sirius letter, meeting Medusa and arriving back in England (I know it is a long title)

18th September 1994, Headmaster's office, Hogwarts

It is just after dinner. Dumbledore waits on Ronald Weasley. He hasn't heard anything from Ronald about information he can use. Ronald should have come after the 16th of September but he never came. He send Filch to get Ron.

It takes another fifteen minutes before Filch came with Ron. Dumbledore dismisses Filch. When Filch is gone Dumbledore says "Mr. Weasley, take a seat if you please."

Ron immediately sits down. Dumbledore asks "lemon drop?"

Ron nods and immediately accepts it. He can barely control himself to beg for more.

Dumbledore asks "I thought I told you to come here two evenings ago?"

Ron says "I am sorry Professor Dumbledore I forgot. Also, I didn't see anything."

Dumbledore says "are you sure Mr. Weasley. Nothing that you should tell me?"

Ron says "not really. I mean he visits Hagrid a lot but that is because he has a lot more time than last year when I asked why. He said I didn't have to go with him if I didn't and I didn't think it was important."

Dumbledore says "perhaps you are right. I may ask Hagrid I there is something I should know. Anything else that I should know, like if he has contact with Sirius Black?"

Ron shrugs when he says "I don't know. If he has I haven't seen it. He didn't get any letter this summer or at Hogwarts as far as I know."

Dumbledore is not happy with Ron. Dumbledore thinks that Ron doesn't take this seriously or is more loyal to Harry than he thought. Dumbledore decide to test him and would probably not have anything more useful. If he has useful information Dumbledore is sure it can wait.

Dumbledore says "fine, you keep your eyes open. You are dismissed."

Ron stands up and asks "what about my rewards?"

Dumbledore doesn't smile and says "Mr. Weasley, you didn't give me anything of value. You don't even seem to want to help me in protecting and guiding Harry. Why would I reward you if you don't do your best and don't give me anything valuable?"

Ron says "but I do my best. I want the rewards, Harry has just been very closed off since Sirius escaped. I am also kind of sure Sirius isn't dangerous as he was after my rat, not Harry. He even gave me an owl."

Dumbledore asks "closed off, why?"

Ron says "he studies a lot with Hermione, Neville and sometimes Ginny and Loony."

Dumbledore asks "do you know what he studies?"

Ron says "I don't know I think it is just homework and such."

Dumbledore looks disappointed and grabs two Galleons out of his drawer. He put it on the desk and says "here that should be enough for the information. If you want the other and better rewards I need to know more and study with Harry maybe he will tell you more then. Maybe you need more time. I will meet you next month on the 16th of October the day after the Hogsmeade trip. You better have more for me and better or you will never get a Firebolt and also no extra credit or money. Here take another lemon drop and that will be the only sweets I give you. Dismissed."

Ron nods grabs the two Galleons like they would disappear if he isn't fast enough and one lemon drop that Dumbledore placed next to the two Galleons before almost running out of Dumbledore's office.

Dumbledore drops down and wonders if he really needs to talk to Hagrid as even with the Elder Wand as he is a half-giant is difficult to do mind magic as giants are very resistant to it just like Trolls. Goblins, Elves and Veela's have more than average resistance to mind magic. Humans have no defence unless they are strong or have very strong Occlumency defence but even then mind magic may work. If Dumbledore wants to use mind magic on Hagrid he will sure don't trust him anymore and he needs him for the Greater Good especially when Voldemort returns as he can go to the giants to prevent them from working with Voldemort and if possible with him as he can use Giants to blame stuff on Voldemort while he saves the wizarding society from the Giants.

It will give him more support from the light families to secretly take over the wizarding world as the leader of the light. The light houses and some neutral will believe everything he says even if he calls some countries like magical France, magical Belgium and magical The Netherlands controlled by dark wizards and it is their job to liberate the countries before liberating the other magical countries, and finally the muggle world.

Dumbledore thinks 'no I can't use it on Hagrid as I need to pull my wand and the power to get him under my control and keep him like that it is too much of a risk. For now, I need him, maybe if I talk to him and 'persuade' him to tell me what he and Harry are doing and why he visits him almost every day.'

Dumbledore sighs and thinks 'maybe I need to try and get Harry here or maybe need to get the mudblood here and convince her. If she doesn't cooperate potions or spells could work. No, not when it isn't needed I need to have Mr. Wealey do it for now. I want the mudblood gone also if she is loyal as I suspect there is a chance she will shake the spells off or the potion put her in the Hospital Wing and any more charms or spells used on Poppy can hurt her and make her lose her mind. I don't have time to get a new Matron, especially one who completely trusts in me. Also, I need to put all the spells and charms I put on Poppy on the new one without the new one knowing. That is too much work. Also, I like Poppy as she is now.'

Dumbledore says to himself and Fawkes "I go to sleep. Good night Fawkes."

Fawkes thrills sadly before he flames out. Dumbledore wonders why but decides to have an early night and think things over.

23rd September 1994, Gryffindor fourth-year boys dorm, Hogwarts

Harry is smiling happily. He really likes the goodnight kisses but he wonders why Ron wants to come most of the time until Hermione tells him that Harry is helping them with schoolwork which most of the time scares Ron away.

Neville comes quite some time. Hermione mostly asks him to return and help him another time as she needs to talk to Harry alone.

It is early in the morning. Harry is grabbing some clothes he uses to run in. Harry can't suppress a smile the last few days every day getting goodnight kisses has kept him happy, but why wouldn't he? Three very attractive girls kiss him goodnight every night and he doesn't have to worry about rumours as they make sure they are alone.

He smiles and he remembers Luna lost her shoes. Luckily Dobby found them the same day.

Harry thinks 'I remember when Dobby told me he find both and made Luna 'find' both of them. He was happy he could help me, but I am happy he could. I need to do something for him. I will think of something maybe some socks but that is clothing.'

'Also I need to try to convince Hermione what she doing is wrong. She has good intentions but for house-elves, her good intentions are not good. Maybe I should show her the book about house-elves. She trusts books, but I wonder if she does as the book is very cruel. Maybe Neville can help me as he seems to know more about house-elves. Maybe he also knows that house-elves need to be bonded to life and they like to work.'

Meanwhile, Harry has been walking downstairs and when he feels the wind he sees that he is already at the school entrance and didn't even notice when he was lost in thoughts. He walks to the lake before he starts his morning exercise. That he has been doing it every morning since he came here just like he did last year as long as he wasn't in the Hospital Wing and he has continued during the summer although he barely had time, when was at his relatives and at the Weasley's he had some time but was also busy with homework and spending time with Ron, Ginny and/or Hermione.

26th September 1994, Tonks residence, Dartford

It is early in the morning. The sun is barely visible. Tonks is again awake. The dreams about Harry keep going. Everything she wakes up the soaked the bed or at least closes to. She dreams about the Quidditch World Cup or dreams about the future, a couple of years from now. She isn't a seer. The most surprising is that even in her dreams about the future she still isn't the only one at least Hermione and Ginny are with her and sometimes Susan Bones, her boss's niece. Last night Susan was also in her dream.

The dream made her happy but also confused. She knows she loves Harry, but the age difference is not the only big point why she knows it will never happen, however, last night in the dream she didn't mind the other three girls and she was also pregnant as were they. Harry was so good-looking and really loved all four of them equally. Ginny was even talking about other girls but didn't say a name. It seems they were also pregnant and at least two already had a child from Harry. In her dreams, she was actually jealous of two other of his wives who already had a child from him. It was jealousy but more towards envy than pure jealousy especially as she was also pregnant with their child.

The next moment jealousy or envy disappears when a child runs into the room into Harry's arms and his hair changed from blonde to black like Harry's hair. The child has Harry's green eyes and after Harry, he does the hair colour of Hermione, Ginny and Susan before he tries her hair colour, and he almost succeeds. The boy says "mommy Nymfie, Mommy Ginny, Mommy Hermione and Mommy Susan can Daddy take me flying. Please Mommies?"

All the girls look at her. Before she can agree or decline she sees the smile on Harry was so much happiness that even now she is awake she wants to make Harry that happy. Maybe that is also why she was envious even though clearly she and Harry already had a child maybe the others Ginny mentioned already had more or that she wants it so much that she feels more envious as it hasn't happened yet and probably never will.

Her mind is divided, one part is going about the age difference while the other is about the love for Harry despite the multiple wives not mentioning that her magic felt Harry's magic that was so powerful that you will probably feel safe when he stands next to you and especially when you are in his arms.

Tonks immediately thinks 'NO, NO, NO Tonks we already decided that I am too old for Harry and we want the wizard for ourselves.'

Another part of her mind thinks 'but it is Harry Potter, our cousin, he looks so good already and the magic…'

Tonks tries to squash that voice in her head. She stands up and looks at the rising sun hoping to ease her mind and just enjoy it. She also hopes her mind will not be too busy. She sees a small black spot getting bigger. When she can finally see it, she sees it is an eagle.

She immediately goes downstairs to the kitchen. She is the first one down. She sees that the eagle is much closer to the house. The eagle flies towards the window. Tonks open the window right before the eagle would break through the window. She knows the Eagle would wait outside like owls unless it is important. The eagle drops the letter on the table before the eagle jumps to the open window and slowly opens his wings to take off to fly again.

When the eagle flies away again Tonks closes the window. She sees it is again addressed to her mother. She is sweaty and still aroused and decides to go back to her room and take a long cold shower. She knows she will read the letter after her mother and probably did.

Almost an hour and a half later she returns and this time her mother and father are sitting at the table. Her mother seems quite mad while her father has a large smile on his face something her mother really doesn't like.

She sees Tonks and asks "do you know how the message came here?"

Tonks says "yes. I was awake early because of some dreams and I decided to watch the sunrise. During the sunrise, I saw an eagle approaching and as they aren't common I just knew it is an eagle from Gringotts. I rushed down to make sure the eagle could enter without breaking the window. The eagle flew in and dropped the letter before leaving again."

Andi asks "so you read it?"

Tonks says "no, I didn't. It is addressed to you and if you want me to read it I thought you will let me after you and Daddy read it."

When Tonks sits down Andi gives her the letter.

Andi reads.

Dear Andi(, Ted and Nymphadora),

I have no doubt you all have read the last letter or Andi at least talked about it. You all probably know I am returning to England with my last brother in all but blood Remus Lupin. I didn't get any letter so I take this as a yes that there will be no Aurors will be waiting on me and that you still live in the muggle neighbourhood when I was wrongly sent to Azkaban. I guess I am right or this letter is intercepted, but I am sure Gringotts eagles are not allowed to be intercepted unless the recipient is watched what I don't think you are.

I think it is safe to say that I will arrive around noon on the 1st of October. I hope I give you enough time to prepare and the letter is delivered at the beginning of the week. I think it may be a good idea to invite Amelia on the same day Remus and I will arrive. I think dinner will be fine although that is of course completely your choice.

As the 1st of October is a Saturday I think Amelia will not work on Saturday unless an emergency comes up and I think with the way Remus and I arrive we will not be seen so if something happens we are not the cause. I hope you can have birds or small mammals as we have a good friend who prefers that. I hope you can take provide it.

I will make sure that Remus and I have at least that for a least a few days. If you cannot provide I hope you can at least help me with an idea to get birds or small mammals like a store that sells those. Muggle or magical I don't care what the shop is and muggle may even be better.

I think we need to discuss about Cissy to get her away from Malfoy and Bella from the Lestrange incestuous brothers.

Andi says "here Dora. Read it and let Amelia know that Sirius will come here around noon on the 1st of October. Ask her if she can be here around 11:30 AM."

Tonks nods and says "I will mom. I will try to see if I can see her today. I don't think Emily her assistant would be that difficult. She should be back from her vacation today."

After Dora put the letter back on the table. Andi grabs the letter and gives it to Ted. Ted smiles and says "well, now I know when to have the butterbeer ready. Also, I may know a muggle shop for the birds and small mammals as there are also muggle animals that can be lured by birds and small mammals."

Andi says "alright. Can you take care of that Ted while Dora makes sure Amelia knows?"

Ted and Dora both nod and Andi seems pleased with that. She says "then I will make sure there will be a big lunch. Dora tells Amelia that I will provide lunch and after some thought, I think it will be best if she only takes Kingsley for the moment at least unless she has another full Auror she really trusts."

Tonks and says "alright Mom. I think I can better go my shift starts soon. I wouldn't be surprised if my desk has a lot of paperwork. It isn't fair, just because I am a junior Auror I got a lot of paperwork as do the other junior Aurors. The Aurors tell it is training but I heavily doubt that as some pureblood junior Aurors don't need to do it."

Ted says "why don't you tell Amelia or Kingsley as your mentor."

Tonks says "I can, but you don't snitch on your fellow Aurors."

Andi says "that is your fault, Ted, She is a Hufflepuff through and through just like you are. If she was like me she would turn the tables by being cunning."

Tonks says "I think when Amelia notices or Kingsley does the ones that would need to do it would pay. I can, of course, hint that I am too busy with the paperwork to talk with Director Bones too long."

Andi smiles and says "I am happy you at least know some of that I taught you without being a Slytherin but I guess that this is also the fairness and hardworking side of you as Hufflepuff while the other about not snitching is the loyalty side of Hufflepuff."

Dora shrugs. She stands up and wants to walk to the floo but as she turns around to leave the kitchen her foot hit the chair and she ends up on the floor. She managed to catch herself. She does end up on the floor and she sees her father trying to suppress and laugh while her mother rolls her eyes especially when she sees Tonks isn't hurt by her fall.

She says "Daddy don't laugh. I am going."

Tonks stands up and almost storms out of the kitchen. Less than a minute later a sound of a large fire hitting stone signals Tonks has left the house.

Andi says "it seems Dora will never learn. I blame you that she is clumsy."

Ted asks "did you never tell her what you told me?"

Andi says "I don't think that would be wise, she is very stubborn and I am not sure if it is the truth too."

Ted says "I would if I were you and just say that it doesn't mean she is forced to it."

Andi asks in disbelieve "you want me to tell her that her clumsiness means that her magic is searching for someone or if she is already found and her magic tries to force her to the one that found her which can happen in different matters from innocent dreams to being in pain without being near the one that found her. In her case, it is clumsiness that almost made her fail her Auror exam is what she dreamed about doing like her favourite cousins James and Sirius did before James went into hiding and Sirius was wrongly sent to Azkaban of course although that may have strengthened her resolve to become an Auror as we both know Sirius would never betray James, Lily and his godson Harry with or without ritual."

"Maybe we influenced her and a part of her wanted to help Sirius or know why he did it. As he didn't get a trial like we suggested she may want to find out I that was true and the easiest way to find that out is by being an Auror as she asked me once and that was my answer although I never thought about why she asked it. However, she does really like to be an Auror."

Ted nods and says "she really wanted to be an Auror since she knew what James and Sirius did, but she was clumsy from a very young age."

Andi nods before she says "that is right, but most if not all children go through a clumsy phase. Most if not all grow out of it and I can understand that Nymphadora being a Metamorphmagus may have more difficulty than other children but she should be well ... at least less clumsy than she is right now. If nothing happened you know it will eventually happen soon. There is a chance she will always be clumsy but I am almost certain if her magic finds the wizard she will be less clumsy like she should be and don't know if or when she would have a clumsy moment again."

Ted says "you are the mediwitch so if you're sure I guess you are right. Hasn't this been in the House of Black before?"

Andi says "I don't know. I never read about it but as it can be seen as bad I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't written about or the one in question was disowned if not worse. Anything that could harm House Black or be seen as not superior would be kept hidden. Now that I look back there were some family members disowned for vague reasons and even a few that died under suspicious circumstances while they weren't sick before and didn't contract any disease like dragon pox or other lethal diseases."

28th September 1994, Unknown Island, Unknown Location

Sirius and Remus are waiting for the night to fall as it will be much easier to leave then. It will take around 2 days of non-stop flying to reach England again. Buckbeak managed when Sirius fled England. It seems Buckbeak would have been able to go on so with Sirius and Remus on his back he should at least be able to reach Ireland or otherwise Spain or Portugal to rest before flying the last part.

The sun was almost setting when an eagle arrives with a letter. The eagle drops the letter in front of Sirius before leaving.

Sirius opens the letter.

Dear Mutt,

We know you would never betray James and Lily. However, I am ashamed to say we didn't do our best to get you out of Azkaban as we thought you had a trial. I did think they used you to make it seem the Ministry of Magic caught a traitor. I did try to seek it out but we tried to find Harry too and we didn't manage both and for that I am sorry.

I agree with Remus that you shouldn't try to seek to speak with Amelia so we did it for you. You should know that even despite your fugitive state you would always be welcome here. I do want to tell you beforehand that Amelia will be here when you arrive with one full Auror who you probably know in the name of Kingsley Shacklebolt as I remember correctly he was an Auror when you and James were.

It seems you still remember Nymphadora. She did manage her pink hair for most of the time at the start of her first year but manage in her third year to have it almost always. It does help that her hair most of the time still betrays her emotion.

I am very curious about what you want to tell me Sirius and I only am curious as you were not like the others of our family save my sisters and mostly your father and brother. It better be good.

As I always like you, I will tell you that you are more than welcome but you need to take Veritaserum so we can ask you questions and we want to know the truth and have no time for your pranks. If you don't want to then don't come here. You are right that Ted, Nymphadora and me still live in the same house and muggle neighbourhood. It means we have enough guestrooms for you and Remus. I wonder how do you want to come here as apparitions don't work at least not until I know more. And as you are outside of England you need a Portkey and you know all international Portkey arrive at the ministry or a ministry-controlled location.

Before you even send another message I want to know when you come here at the latest what this urgent matter is. I better not involve Harry as I will hex you if not worse if you did something for him and I think you know what I mean.

Sirius says "great news Remus, Andy will let us stay and she even made sure Amy will be there."

Remus says "and the bad news?"

Sirius says "it is not that bad I just need to take Veritaserum when I get there."

Remus says "better you than me, but on the other hand, it will probably not work on me unless they give me much more than legally and medically is responsible, not that I die easily from Veritaserum overdose because of the wold and the change is the wolf will attack if they try."

Sirius says "I don't care. I have nothing to hide."

Remus gives Sirius a pointed look.

Sirius says "alright. I have nothing to hide in the things that matter like Harry, Amy and our friendship. Things like that."

Remus asks "are you sure about that as we promised James we would never tell Lily or any other women what Harry did or we did with Harry as Harry liked it a lot. And of course the marriage contracts."

Sirius says "well alright maybe only that but how big is the chance they will ask about that. I am sure that Harry will also be happy with them if they look anything like their mothers Harry will be a lucky man."

Remus says "I may not have much experience with women but somehow they always find out or know something is up. I am happy I am not you Padfoot. Andy will probably kill you slowly and Amelia will make sure she will never be arrested while also helping Andi."

Sirius says "I am sure it will be alright also I wouldn't be surprised if he already has his first girlfriend, Hermione … Granger you said? He found his love and then with the other girls he would be living a teenage boy's dream also I only signed one as the other for House Potter was by James and Lily and dear Susan's parents. The one for House Black was bound to happen if it was not Harry it would have been Lucy's son with grounds to challenge Harry for House Black and damage House Greengrass's reputation, business and their daughters especially the youngest daughter as the marriage contract is for her."

Remus nods about Hermione. Sirius says "smart, no doubt and I guess a muggleborn. If she has more red than brown hair and green eyes I would back in the past. Anyway, there is hopefully enough time for that or Harry to get his head out of his arse as it would be better if he gets a girlfriend before he knows of the marriage contracts and I think we need to talk to her to explain Harry's position and what is expected from him in this case."

Remus says "well, we better get the last things the sun is almost down."

Sirius nods and grabs the last things as does Remus.

29th September 1994, Hogwarts

Harry is barely controlling his anger. He had just finished double potions and like normal Snape was unbearable. Only Hermione being next to him has kept him from attacking and if possible killing Snape for everything he had until now especially disrespecting his father but also unfairly treating everyone but Slytherin and it looks like only the Slytherin boys. Also, Snape disrespect Hermione, Ron and very good friend Neville and that is not mentioning the other Gryffindors. Neville like him is the most badgered by Snape. Snape is the same for all the years, especially Gryffindor.

Double potions are the last class of the day and Harry says "I am going to Hagrid."

Harry doesn't even wait for Hermione, Ron or Neville to say anything.

Ron says "I will go with you."

Harry says "that isn't needed, Ron. I heard there was a sixth year from one of the other houses that says he can beat you in chess. Maybe the twins know who it is."

Ron says "really? I wish to see him try. Other time than Harry."

This is the fastest time they see Ron move as he almost sprints towards the stairs to get to the common room.

Harry tries not to smile as he doesn't want Ron to find out …. at least not yet.

Harry says "Hermione, I will see you in the library or at dinner. See you there to Neville."

Harry again doesn't wait for their response and walks away. Hermione doesn't like this. Harry goes to Hagrid every day since the start of term. When she asks he tells her why but she doesn't believe Harry as he said it is just to talk as he didn't really have time last year because of the Dementors and that hurts her as she trusts Harry completely and besides girl things, she will tell him everything. Hermione was considering asking after one of the night kisses but that seems too much to manipulate Harry and that is something she never wants to do to Harry. That thought is so strong Hermione knows that even the Imperius curse will not make her do that.

Hermione has asked Neville if he knew but Neville didn't. She asked Ginny and Luna. Ginny doesn't know and Luna didn't say she knew or did not but said that Harry will tell her when he is ready. Luna said the Nargles told her that. Hermione decides to try to show Harry she will accept whatever it is but it seems Harry still doesn't ask her to go with her. She has enough. She says "Neville come."

Neville cannot disagree especially if Hermione is like this. Neville sees Hermione as a very good friend but even like this, she is scary. She will hex him if he disagrees. When Hermione doesn't think Neville moves fast enough she grabs his wrist strongly and drags him after her.

They stay just out of sight of Harry. Harry feels that someone is following him just like he sometimes feels where Ginny and Hermione are and as Ginny should be in a class it can only be Hermione.

Harry decides to not let Hermione know he knows that she is following him. Harry knows that there is a big chance Neville is with Hermione willingly or not. Hermione is very strong-willed and may just drag Neville along.

He is outside in the clock tower courtyard. and as expected he still feels Hermione is following him. He is walking over the wooden bridge. He is at the end and is by the standing stones. He looks back and sees that Hermione and as he expected Neville is trying to hide on the other side of the wooden bridge. Harry decides he pretends he didn't see them and continues.

He walks slowly down the path to make sure Hermione and Neville follow him. Harry thinks 'I think it is time I tell them about Medusa. Ron isn't here and that is good. He had tried to come more once in the last two weeks. Hermione always want to come and Neville at least offered almost as much as Hermione and if Hermione didn't come Ginny want to although sometimes they both wanted to come, sometimes with Neville too. It would only be better if Ginny was here … and Luna although Luna somehow already knew about Medusa.'

He reaches Hagrid's cabin and knocks. Hagrid opens the door with a large smile and allows him to enter. As soon as he enters and the door closes Medusa appear while at the same time Harry feels Hermione coming closer.

29th September 1994, Hagrid's cabin, Hogwarts ground

Within a minute that Harry enters the room, they hear a tap at the window. They see Hedwig. Hagrid opens it and Hedwig immediately flew to Harry's shoulder. She starts to hoot madly. Hagrid decides to close the window again.

After Hedwig is done Harry says "easy girl, I didn't forget about you but I didn't know if you were asleep, if you were hunting or maybe you were heading somewhere to get a letter."

Hedwig starts to hoot again which immediately dies down when Harry gives her a scratch. Hedwig likes that and gives Harry a little nip on his ear in affection.

Harry says "you know I will never forget about you, Hedwig."

Hedwig hoots agreeing. Medusa slithers up his arm so she can also get a pet from Harry, her Master.

Hagrid smiles. Hagrid asks if Harry wants a bit of tea and Harry happily agrees. After Hagrid pours Harry a cup of tea for himself, Harry asks "how have you been doing Hagrid?"

Hagrid says "I have bin great, harry. I had the third years an' seventh year earlier today an' professor Flitwick has a free hour ter help me with some charms I should have learned. Wha' 'bout yeh?"

Harry says "it could have been better. I just finished a double hour of potions."

Hagrid says "oof. Tha' is hard. Wha' it bad?"

Harry nods and says "it kind of was. He was breathing down my and Neville's neck, we lost 75 points. At least 50 points are Malfoy's fault."

Hagrid asks "how so?"

Harry sighs and says "he manage to at least once and I think twice managed to get an ingredient in the potions that shouldn't be in the potion what made it once explode what caused us to lose 25 points and the other time it made the cauldron overflow what caused up another to lost another 25 points."

"The remaining 25 points were mostly nonsense with 15 being by Malfoy who was taunting us right in front of Snape and if we said anything back he docked us 5 points. I didn't respond until he started to call Hermione mudblood again. I wanted to when he called Neville a squib or Ron poor but Hermione stopped me. I don't know why Ron didn't respond normally he would. The remaining 10 points were a point here a there for breathing too hard or looking the wrong way at him or the Slytherins. Things like that. It is a wonder he didn't give anyone of us, detention."

Hedwig suddenly hoots and Harry says "I know Hedwig. I think it is time. I don't want to lie. It hurt almost physically especially if I lie to Hermione although I don't like it when I lie to Neville."

Hagrid asks "wha' d'you mean, Harry?"

Harry says "Hedwig saw Hermione and Neville are watching the cabin. She wanted to say it earlier but she knew I needed to talk about the horrible double hour of potions first."

Hagrid nods. He is happy that his present of Hedwig on his eleventh birthday became such a good companion for Harry.

Harry asks "Hagrid do you think I should let Hermione and Neville meet Medusa?"

Hagrid says "I think yeh should. She listens an' if this continues I will tell Professor McGonagall she is no threat. Also, I examined her an' while I didn't see any magic tha' she is a magical creature but I did manage ter find out her skin is very strong an' magic resistant."

Harry smiles and says "I did tell you she isn't magical Hagrid."

Hagrid shrugs and says "yeah, yeh did but still it was possible like the muggle dodo is."

Harry says "I suppose so."

Harry downs his tea. He says "I guess I can better tell Hermione and Neville they can come in and I need to try to bring it gently."

Harry sis §Medusa, I need you to hide for now, but I hope in a few minutes I can call you to come out of hiding.§

Medusa sis happily §I will finally meet Master's friends?§

Harry sis §I think so, but I need to know what they think about me having a snake.§

Medusa sis without saying anything and slither down his arm and his leg to the ground before going to hide close by.

Harry stands up and says "I will call them in Hagrid, but please let me do the talking."

Hagrid just nods and grabs two other cups if Hermione and Neville would like a cup of tea.

Harry opens the door and shouts "Hermione and Neville you can come in. You don't have to follow me."

Hermione and Neville stand up and Hermione looks mad while Neville is more a bit embarrassed. Harry can't suppress a smug smile which makes Hermione madder, but also make her a little weak at her knees. Hermione notice and is lucky he uses a smug smile and not one of the others. They thought they weren't noticed. Hermione thought that just like last year but then with Harry instead of Neville, they wouldn't be noticed in the pumpkin patch because of the large pumpkins.

Hermione and Neville walk to Harry. When they are almost at the cabin Harry walks back but lets the door open. Hermione enters before Neville did.

Neville closes the door and Hermione crosses her arms under her breasts. Harry tries to think about anything else but he can't and need to suppress a moan. Harry knows that Hermione is attractive and it seems that she is also growing into a beautiful young woman and his teenage mind seems very aware of that fact. He also can't deny that she looks hot when she is angry …. like some fire deep inside is lit when she is angry which also makes her a bit scary.

Hermione decides to ask "how did we know we were following you? Did Hedwig tell you?"

Harry smiles which make Hermione madder and therefore also hotter. Harry says "well she did tell me. but she didn't need to as I already knew. I felt you following me, I don't know how I felt you. It is just sometimes I feel you and Ginny. As Ginny has class it was you and I expected Neville to be with you. Also, I saw both of you when I exited the wooden bridge."

Neville says "I told you he saw us."

Hermione turns to Neville with a look that he should stop talking or will be hexed into next year.

Harry decides to save Neville and says "I know you want to know why I am visiting Hagrid every day. It is true I like Hagrid and he is a good friend, but there is more and I expect you know that you, Hermione didn't buy my reasoning."

Hermione turns to Harry with fire in her eyes and says "you are right Harry James Potter. Now I want to know the truth."

Harry says "I will 'Mione."

Hermione wants to get even angrier at the nickname he uses but she can't stay mad at Harry when he uses the nickname. She knows she only allows Harry to call her that as it only sounds good coming out of his mouth with his voice.

Hermione says "fine, then tell us."

Harry says "I can tell you now because Ron isn't here. I think Ron will not understand and I hope you trust me to know what I am doing."

Hermione nods as does Neville.

Harry smiles grow and say "that is great. Now I am here every day as Hagrid is keeping something for me here with Professor McGonagall's approval. At Halloween or New Year there is a chance that it will stay with me."

Harry waits but when nothing is said he continues.

Harry says "before I show you what it is I want to talk about some hypothetical situations."

Hermione sighs and says "Harry, I trust you with my life you don't have to convince us. Just show us what it is."

Harry says "but what if I say it is a baby dragon?"

Hermione says "I would say think about Norberta, there is no way you can keep it and you shouldn't."

Harry suggests "or like Fluffy?"

Hermione says "the same especially if the Cerberus is as big as Fluffy."

Harry says "or if I have a snake as I can talk to snakes? "

Hermione says "as long as it isn't like the Basilisk or any other large magical dangerous snake I guess it should be alright also as you can talk to the snake. I think you should be able to control the snake or at least make it obey you."

Before Harry can say anything Hermione says "wait a second. You talk about creatures and Hagrid is the Professor for the care of magical creatures! It isn't something but someone. Hagrid is taking care of it for you! But you can't keep any of them, they are not allowed."

Harry decides not to lie and says "yes Hermione you are right. Hagrid takes care of an animal for me. Normally you are right, but in the Hogwarts charter there are exceptions."

Hermione's face lights up and says "you read Hogwarts: A History?"

Harry says "sorry Hermione I did not, but I heard that there are some rules even the Headmaster can't ignore are in the Hogwarts Charter. I haven't read Hogwarts: A History, or the charter. Is the charter in the book?"

Hermione's smile has fallen. She says "no, but what you just said is all in the book about the Hogwarts charter has additional rules with exceptions and no Headmaster can change the charter and can't override the rules of the charter with his own rules. Also, they must follow those rules. It is said that all Headmasters are bound to uphold the charter and all its rules. I can look up the charter if you want Harry?"

Harry says "that would be great, but maybe it is better if you wait until I showed you who Hagrid take care of for me on Professor McGonagall's insistence. However, before I show you I must ask you to not tell Ron."

Hermione and Neville agreed. Hermione does ask "what about Ginny? And Luna?"

Harry says "I guess you can tell. Although I don't know how but Luna already knows."

Hermione's face falls and she looks to the ground. Harry says "I didn't tell her Hermione. I saw her the first morning when we were here. I talked to her and somehow she just knew. I didn't ask her not to tell anyone, but maybe she didn't tell you because I didn't tell you yet."

Hermione has tears in her eyes as it feels like Harry doesn't trust her and that brings back bad memories of her youth. It hurts even more as she knows that she loves Harry and wants Harry to know she will always trust and support him. Luna did tell her she met Harry again the first morning here and she trust Harry and if Harry lied to her it is for a very good reason no matter if it is dangerous or not.

Hermione knows one thing for certain if Harry lies it will not hurt her or anyone else one way or the other. He didn't save Ginny, Buckbeak and Sirius for nothing … well he did he didn't expect anything for it although he may have hoped Sirius would get free soon so he can leave his relatives. It was like he couldn't help himself to save them although she helped Harry with Buckbeak and Sirius. Harry didn't ask her, but she wouldn't let him do it alone and will join if he asked her although she would force Harry to allow her to go with him if Harry expected he need to go alone.

Hermione is shocked when Harry hugs her. She sees it is Harry, but she also recognizes Harry's scent and Harry's arms. She just knows even if her eyes were closed or the tears obscured her sight she would know this is Harry. She can't help but grab Harry tight and lies her head on his chest which I quite difficult as Harry and Hermione are around the same height and Hermione is the tallest of the two. His chest is too difficult for Hermione to lie her head on his chest. She lies her head on Harry's shoulder instead.

After almost a minute Harry asks "are you alright, Hermione?"

Hermione removes her head from his shoulder and is immediately embarrassed as she suddenly remembers Hagrid and Neville are both here. Hagrid smiles while Neville looks very unconformable.

Hermione moves away from Harry reluctantly, Harry stops hugging her. Hermione says "yes. Thank you, Harry."

She wants to kiss Harry even if it is only on his cheek but she suppresses the urge. Harry gives her his signature smile and that really makes her knees go weak and immediately needs to sit in a chair or she would have fallen to the ground. She sits in the chair closest to the chair Harry probably sat in as it is also the closest to Hagrid.

Harry takes a seat and asks "I guess you don't want to wait any longer?"

Hermione nods and moves her fast almost as fast as Dobby would do. Neville gives a small nod.

Harry sis §you can come out now Medusa.§

Medusa slithers out of her hiding space and immediately goes to Harry.

Harry smiles and says "guys, meet Medusa."

Neville looks surprised as does Hermione. Finally, Hermione says "you have a snake."

Hermione looks closer and almost screams "a King Cobra, Harry? They are extremely dangerous and very venomous, it is one of the most venomous snakes known to muggles and it is known to be very aggressive when encountering humans especially if a King Cobra sees humans as a dangerous threat."

Harry says "Hermione, I know but Medusa is nice and as I can talk to her I trust her and she is very friendly. You can believe me also she will not attack anyone as long as she isn't attacked even if she is threatened she will not bite. If she is attacked she is allowed to protect herself. You can pet her if you want."

Hermione is thinking if it is wise to do so. Neville says shockingly "I-I wan-want to, Harry."

Harry smiles and says "great Neville. Come here."

Harry sis §my friend wants to pet you. Is that alright?§

Medusa nods. Harry says "Medusa allows you to. She may however use her tong to get to know you."

Neville nods. Medusa use her tong to get his smell. Harry says "scratch her under her head and mouth."

Neville moves his hand while his hand is shaking a lot. Harry sees this and says "Neville why don't you keep your hand out."

Neville nods and manages to stop the shaking of his hand.

Harry asks §Medusa can you put your head in his hand? He is quite nervous I think.§

Medusa sis §yes, Master.§

Medusa moves to Neville and Neville panics. He asks "Harry, what should I do?"

Harry says "it is alright, Neville. As you seem very nervous I asked Medusa to put her head in your hand. It would just advise you to try to not shake your hand and not grip her head as she would probably not like that."

Neville nods and to Harry's surprise, he manages to only slightly shake his hand. Medusa uses her tongue and then lies her head in his hand. When Neville feels Medusa he almost jumps up in the air but manages not to.

Harry whispers "now Neville with your other hand try to pet her like you would other animals."

Neville gulps while he nods. He gently moves his other hand and starts to rub her head before moving down her body. Medusa doesn't move and puts her head down on his hand.

Hermione asks "Harry, how are you allowed to keep the snake? It is too dangerous to keep I am sure of it."

Harry asks "what do you want me to do Hermione? She wants to stay with me."

Hermione asks "what if Medusa attacks a student or bites one."

Harry says "I am responsible for her."

Hermione says "that is what I mean. What if something happens?"

Harry says "Hermione, you said it yourself if I have a snake I can understand her and she would obey or listen to me. Medusa listens to me and if she is discovered and isn't attacked she will try to get away if I ask her to do that."

Hermione says "there is no way you can keep it."

Harry sighs and says "but Hermione Professor McGonagall allows as I am allowed by the charter."

Hermione asks "but what about Hedwig. You can't have two animals and that is not mentioning snakes aren't even allowed."

Harry says "by the charter I can. Hermione, I know because of the basilisk, that attacked muggleborns, you do not like snakes but Medusa is different and I can assure you she will not attack muggleborns….. well unless I ask her too but that is something I would never do."

Hermione says "I trust you Harry, but still. I need to read the charter."

Hermione is ready to go but even before she could even get one step to the door Harry grabs her wrist and pulls her to him. Harry uses too much strength and Hermione is strongly pushed against his body. Hermione immediately melts with him against her.

Harry doesn't notice and says "I know you want to Hermione and I think there should be at least one in the library. However, before you go can you at least give Medusa a pet and scratch to see that she isn't dangerous. Also, I would appreciate it if you don't talk to anyone about it that doesn't know mainly Ron. You can tell Ginny but only if you are completely sure no one else can hear you except those that already know that including Luna."

Hermione reluctantly steps back for Harry and says "fine, but I am still going to check the charter after this."

Harry smiles and says "I wouldn't expect anything else."

Hermione walks to Neville while she asks "Harry you said Hagrid takes care of Medusa but most snakes don't eat very long so what does Hagrid then?"

Harry asks "Hagrid?"

Hagrid says "ah yes. I make sure tha' no animal attack medusa an' also give her small amounts o' food like meat or mammals although like yeh said Hermione she doesn't eat much. Also, I make it so tha' she won't attack an animal fer food an' I take her ter friends like the centaurs. Also, I examined her ter see if she is magical in any way an' Professor McGonagall asked me ter see if Medusa is a danger ter the students, the teachers or the school in any way an' no I don't think so."

Hermione asks "I see. Did you find out if she is magical?"

Hagrid shakes in head and says "no, I don' think she is. I don' know any spell ter reveal it but I don' think it will work as I did find her skin is very strong an' magic resistant almost magical like dragon hide maybe even stronger an' tha' may be magical but I don' know any animal tha' looks like Medusa tha' has tha' kind o' skin, so maybe she partly a magical creature an' on'y have the strong magical resistant skin or maybe the magic around the school makes it stronger. I really don' know."

Harry sees Hermione is starting to think about it. Harry knows Hermione is smart but hopes that she doesn't find out or at least not yet. He wants to tell her, but as he expected she is very hesitant. Harry hopes if Medusa seems safe and Hermione accepts her that he will tell her (, Neville, Ginny and Luna if she doesn't already know) that Medusa is actually the Basilisk and that she didn't want to attack the muggleborns and what Salazar Slytherin actually wanted of her.

Harry says "Hermione, do you really think I would bring the school in danger?"

Hermione says "I guess not. I still will read the charter and try to find the animal."

Harry sighs and says "Hermione, I will not put the school in danger so do you really think I would keep a dangerous animal here?"

Hermione says "I know you don't Harry, but she can still be dangerous and try to trick you."

Harry says "I trust Medusa and I just know she doesn't. I don't mind if you find the charter but trust me when I say she is not dangerous."

Hermione sees the truth and says "alright. I go to the library immediately."

Hermione knows she lied, but she needs to make sure Harry is safe from the snake.

Harry says "not yet Hermione. You promised that pet and give her a scratch first."

Medusa is still in Neville's hand.

Harry sis §Medusa, my other friend wants to pet you. Be extra nice to her, please. She has trouble touching you.§

Medusa sis §yes Master.§

Medusa leaves Neville's hand and lies on the table. Hermione walks to the table and moves her hand slowly. Medusa's tongue 'smells' her. Medusa is double shocked. One she smells a lot like her Master and second, she attacked her around a year and a half ago.

Medusa moves fast that Hermione can't put her hand back. Hermione is shocked as instead of Medusa attacking her what Hermione expected because she feels threatened. After all, Hermione is very anxious and a bit hesitant, no Medusa does exactly the opposite. Medusa is pushing her head to Hermione's hand almost begging for a pet and a scratch like other animals do like Crookshanks to many people. Also, Hedwig does that to Harry and almost nobody else and certainly not as much.

Hermione is surprised Medusa's skin is smooth. Hermione does what Harry asks of her. She pets Medusa just like Neville did what Medusa also likes and lowers her head to allow Hermione more. Hermione put her other hand underneath Medusa and push her head up. Medusa wonders why but doesn't resist. When Hermione stops pushing Medusa is happy she didn't resist when Hermione starts to give her a scratch underneath Medusa's mouth and a little down Medusa's body.

It goes on for several minutes. Hermione didn't even notice Harry walking toward her. He whispers in her ear "you see, she isn't dangerous. She really seems to like you and you scratching her."

Hermione nods and says "you are right, Harry."

It goes on for a few seconds until Hermione's mind recognizes what she said. She immediately stops and turns around. She almost falls to the ground as the moment she turns around Harry is right behind her with a happy smile that makes her knees go weak again (but not as much as some of his other smiles but it is very close, barely noticeable). Harry sees Hermione almost fall to the ground and grabs her to prevent it. Hermione needs almost a minute before she gets her footing back.

Hermione doesn't know what to say so she says the only thing she could think of "I go to the library and read the charter."

Harry stops holding her and steps to the side. Hermione asks "Neville, do you want to come?"

Neville says "not really Hermione. I would like to stay here until dinner. Also to make sure Harry doesn't forget the time as he mostly forgets the time in the weekend."

Hermione says "alright. I count on you Neville that Harry will be at dinner in the Great Hall."

Neville nods and Harry says annoyingly "I am old enough to do that on my own."

Hermione ignores Harry and says "just make sure he is at dinner in the Great Hall."

Neville nods and says "of course Hermione" with surprising confidence.

Within the second Hermione is out of the door like she apparated through the door as the door is also closed.

Harry just sits down immediately Hedwig flies to his shoulder as Medusa does to the other and Neville with a big smile on the stair beside him. Hagrid and Neville talk about magical plants and which creatures like them that Harry listens to. He thinks to Dobby to again follow Hermione and feels that Dobby will. Harry doesn't like Malfoy's grin as it seems Malfoy is planning something and he doesn't want Hermione to be hurt or worse.

After he is sure Hermione is being followed by Dobby for protection he focuses on the very informative talk between Hagrid and Neville while sometimes putting his own two cents in and is surprised he knows a couple of things about magical creatures and plants that he didn't even know he knew or remembered.

1st October 1994, Tonks residence, Dartford

You can feel the suspense. Tonks, Andi and Ted are waiting in the living room. Amelia and Kingsley should arrive shortly and they don't know if Amelia has found a second Auror or not she completely trusts.

The fire lights up and Amelia comes out first closely followed by Kingsley. Amelia greets them as does Kingsley. Amelia says "I, unfortunately, if Sirius tells the truth couldn't get a second Auror I trust enough at least not a full Auror. However, if Sirius tells the truth I have another way to get Sirius's story to the wizengamot and at least let Sirius's story known and await the wizengamot decision without being in a cell or back in Azkaban. I can tell you after Sirius tell his story and, what we expect, he was wrongly incarcerated. I will write down what I think is important before I make arrangements to have enough support to present it to the wizengamot."

Andi nods and says "I think that is a good idea. Now I don't know if Dora told you, but I have no idea how he is planning to come here. He shouldn't know the floo password and he didn't ask. Also to floo from outside of England to here, you need to go through the Ministry and, just like at the entrance if you enter the Ministry, your wand would be registered with your name which can hurt his case hugely as he probably stole the wand."

"Only houses with property in other countries can bypass the ministry from that country like the Potter's who also have a manor in the south of France near the Mediterranean with a private beach that is warded too. James and Lily didn't want to leave England so they didn't go there also as the France government stopped all travel even from houses with property in their country. Anyway, this house is from Ted and me, not from Sirius so he would not use the floo. I think Remus also wouldn't because he is a werewolf and the ministry would know he is back."

They all nod. Amelia looks in her robe and says "before I forget Andi here is the Veritaserum and the antidote."

Andi nods and grabs it. She says "I will put it on the kitchen table for now."

Amelia nods. Andi leaves the room before she almost immediately returns. When Andi sits again Amelia asks "is there anything that needs to be discussed before Sirius and Remus should arrive?"

Andi says "Ted, you do have what Sirius requested right?"

Ted nods and says "yes. I got them in the basement with stasis and cooling charms to make sure they will not rotten."

Andi says "I guess Amelia and Kingsley why you want to know. Here is the last letter Sirius sends to us."

Amelia grabs and reads it before handing it to Kingsley. Andi noticed Amelia is thinking about something.

Andi asks "Amelia what are you thinking about?"

Amelia says "I am thinking about what kind of friend will need to that. My first thoughts will be an animal, but then the question is what kind of animal could it be. Many creatures eat small mammals and birds. I do have an animal in my mind, but I can't remember from where."

Andi asks "can you tell us the animal?"

Amelia says "I can. It is…."

Amelia gets interrupted when they hear a large shriek that seems to come out of the backyard. They all walk with their wand out through the kitchen to the backdoor.

1st October 1994, backyard, Tonks residence, Dartford

They open the door and walk outside when they see Sirius and Remus petting a Hippogriff.

Andi asks "I guess it was a Hippogriff?"

Amelia says "Indeed it was. If I am right this is Buckbeak."

Buckbeak sees the humans with their wands out although all had lowered them. Sirius and Remus notice Buckbeak looking behind them. Sirius and Remus turn around.

Sirius is shocked with Amelia here and without knowing says "Amy."

Remus rolls his eyes and says "sorry we are a bit early. The weather seems to favour us as we had quite a lot of tailwind over the Atlantic ocean."

Andi says "If the hippogriff isn't too tired and isn't hungry yet I think we can better get inside if the Hippogriff will be calm with both of you inside."

Remus says "I think he will be. I think he will try to find some shade to lie down."

Andi says "that is no problem. Now if you can get Sirius to get back to reality. I would request without his terrible puns but I know that will be wishful thinking."

Remus with a mischievous smile says "that would be a Sirius shame if he loses that. Also, I think it would be wishful thinking and Sirius like those a lot. He would say he is Sirius Sirius Black."

Sirius doesn't respond. Remus looks at Sirius and sees that he still looks at Amelia who also only looks at him. He says "come on Padfoot, you can drool later like the mutt you are."

Sirius turns towards Remus and says "I can assure you and I am purebred."

Remus says "sure you are now let's just head inside."

Sirius turns towards the others and says "I guess Moony is right to go inside."

Andi and Ted nod and walk back inside. Amelia, Kingsley and Dora follow them back inside. Less than a minute later Sirius and Remus enter while closing the door. They take a seat and like Sirius requested Ted appears with two cold butterbeer. He places them in front of Sirius and Remus before he takes a seat along with the rest.

Let's end here for now. I got the review that most of my predictions for the next chapter don't come true. I completely understand and it is true. Every time I finish a chapter I think about what will come up in the next chapter and think about what I could accomplish in it. However, most of the time something comes up that I suddenly want to do or (like some call them scenes) tends to be a bit bigger than I first thought about. In this chapter was suddenly came up was Ron and Dumbledore and Hermione and Neville meeting Medusa I didn't think about both before although I should have thought about at least Ron and Dumbledore.

Anyway, in the next chapter, we will see the talk between Sirius, Remus, Amelia, Kingsley, Andi, Ted and Dora. We see Hermione talking with Katie after talking with Ginny and Luna first. We see Sirius sending a letter to Lord and Lady Greengrass if words allow. And maybe more if words allow it.
