The morning pierced through Zeke's blinds, giving his bedroom a natural light. He slowly blinked while waking himself up. He was going to get up and stretch but realized that someone else was in his bed, sleeping quietly.
"She looks so cute right now..."
Zeke couldn't get enough of how cute his girl looked beside him, curled up in his arms. She had a minor case of bedhead, dried-up drool sat on the corners of her mouth as she softly snored; it was so cute. But he had to get up and stretch. His back was doing him no justice right now.
"...Shar. Shar, wake up."
She slowly poked her head up, visibly drowsy.
"...Zeke?"
"Yeah?"
"What happened last night?"
"...I'll explain it over breakfast. Now come on and get up."
Sharpay moved out of Zeke's arms and cuddled herself up in his comforter, trying to stay warm. As Zeke left his bed, he felt a cold breeze pass his body harshly.
"Damn. Did I leave the AC on last night?"
He rushed downstairs to see why it was so cold. Turns out, he was right and indeed left the AC on blast. He quickly turned it off and went to the kitchen, seeing a note from his mother on the counter.
"I'm gonna be gone for some time again so I left some money for you on the counter. Make good use of it, and don't stay in bed all day with your girlfriend." - Mom
"Hm, what can we do with this...and how did she already figure out that Sharpay is my girlfriend?"
Zeke was spewing out questions—in his mind—left and right, thinking heavily until...
"Zeke, why are you standing there like that?"
"...Hm?"
"I said, why are you standing there like that."
"Because I was, thinking. But uh, wanna go to the mall later?"
"Yeah, that sounds fun! But I don't have any clothes besides the clothes from yesterday, and I don't want to wear those again."
"Then do you want me to get some for you?"
"No, you don't have to do that. I'll just call Ryan and tell him to bring me some here."
"Well, do you. I'll be making breakfast."
"Mhm."
Zeke ran to the kitchen and opened the fridge doors, getting started with the breakfast he was trying to whip up.

"Sharpay! Ryan's here!"
Zeke unlocked the front door and welcomed Ryan in, hearing his girl rush herself down the stairs.
"Good morning you two."
"Good morning, Ryan."
"Morning."
"...Why are you wearing just a robe? Did you two do the deed?"
"Wha...n-no! We would never..."
"Totally. Anyway, here's the solution to your clothing dilemma."
Ryan nicely handed Sharpay a bag filled with some clothes and a few essentials.
"Thank you."
"No problem. Also, when are you coming back home?"
"Later. Me and Zeke are going to the mall."
"Okay. Well, I'll see you later then!"
Ryan waved goodbye and headed out, feeling the front door close behind him.
"Why would he think that..."
"Maybe because you're wearing one of my t-shirts."
"...That doesn't mean anything!"

After arriving at the mall and shopping for about an hour, Sharpay and Zeke were at the food court. The shopping bags, most of them being racked up by Sharpay, were all around Zeke since he knew that the blonde one wasn't gonna carry crap besides her purse.
"You need to carry something, Sharpay."
"But I'm already carrying something."
"Which is?"
"My perfume, lipgloss, and other essentials."
Before Zeke could get in another sentence, he was cut off by a surprise of his friends coming over to their table.
"Hey, you two!"
"Hi, guys! What're y'all doing here?"
"Anything, to be honest. We've been roaming around and having fun with each other."
"Sounds sweet! But uh, is anyone hosting a sleepover or something?"
"Nope, that wasn't on our list. But are you?"
"Mhm! My house is pretty much empty, perfect for a sleepover."
"Okay, cool! Sleepover at Zeke's guys!"

Hours later, everyone's heading to Zeke's. At his house, Sharpay and Zeke are preparing the pillows and blankets in the living room. In the mix, they're playing around with each other, losing track of what needs to get done. Then, the front door was opened and everyone stood while they saw Sharpay and Zeke play around with each other.
"Lovebirds, we're here."
They looked at everyone in the doorway, quickly readjusting themselves afterward.
"...You guys can come in."
Everyone came in and settled in the middle of the living room.
"So, what should we do?"
"Games! People always start sleepovers with some games!"
"Good thinking, Gabriella."
"But what are we gonna play?"
"Twenty-one questions!"
"Isn't that the game where we just give each other a million questions?"
"Yes, Chad. Now, who's starting us off?"
"I will. I'll start by questioning Sharpay."
"This already doesn't—"
"How's the love life, Sharpay? Did the breakup finally give you a wake-up call?"
"Did you finally find someone that liked you back, Taylor? Or did that wish fail you again?"
"At least I have someone that loves me, would never cheat on me, and break up with me on the same day."
"...At least I'm not—"
"Also, I forgot to mention, at least I'm not fooling around with someone I don't even like."
"...Taylor, what did you just say?"
"You heard me. You have ears."
"What're you talking about, Taylor?"
"Zeke, to briefly explain what I just said: Sharpay has been playing with you from the start of your "relationship" with her. She's never been into you."
"What about us kissing?"
"She forced herself to do that."
Sharpay knew she was busted. She couldn't come back from what Taylor said, especially since her "boyfriend" already heard everything. She heard him storm off, feeling a wave of guilt hit her chest.
"Taylor, look at what you did!"
"That's not my problem, Chad. She set herself up with that."
Sharpay followed after Zeke, attempting to get some words out of him once they were inside a room.
"So you've been playing with my feelings, Sharpay? Really?"
"I wasn't playing with—"
"I knew it was too good to be true. You would never date me, would you."
"...I would've, even if Ryan didn't—"
"No, you wouldn't. So just get out and leave me alone. Once this "game" is over, you're going home with Ryan, so take your shit with you."
Sharpay quietly teared up, slowly gathering her stuff and leaving. After she was downstairs, everyone decided to clean up and head home after what blew up. The blonde felt horrible about leaving, knowing what would be hitting her once she returned to school. She wanted to go up there and rightfully apologize to Zeke for what she did, but she knew that he needed some space for that to even be thought of. Once everyone was gone, Zeke went downstairs and locked the door, trying to repress every happy memory he made with the arrogant blonde.
