In a spacious house, you'd find a delightful assortment of puppies, each belonging to different breeds. There are Dalmatians, German Shepherds, Labs, Golden Retrievers, Aussies, Border Collies, and even some adorable mixed-breeds. In one cozy corner, a tired German Shepherd, still in his police uniform, rests beside a Dalmatian. He had a long day because the police department urgently called him away, despite his plans to look after the puppies with his mate.

The Dalmatian, with three charming spots beneath each eye, three more on her left ear, and two spots on her right ear (one big and one small), wears a beloved blue collar. Her paws are marked with black, and their tips are a crisp white. She gazes affectionately at the weary German Shepherd, fully aware of the hard work he's putting in to accrue a month of vacation so they can visit their families.

The scene unfolds in the afternoon, with only the two adults and a playful pack of puppies. Among them, a Dalmatian mixed with Border Collie approaches and asks, "Uncle Chase, aunt Dolly, could you please share the story again?" His voice rings out, capturing the attention of all the puppies, as this particular story is a beloved one.

"Story, story, story, STORY!" The chant spreads throughout the group, drawing them close to Chase and Dolly. Even those who know the story by heart eagerly await its retelling, reveling in the familiar tale's nuances.

Chase chuckles softly, "Well, since your parents aren't back yet, I suppose we can share the story, but only until they return." He looks at his mate with affectionate eyes, reminiscing about the first time they met. "Well…"

Once upon a time in the picturesque town of Adventure Bay, a German Shepherd named Chase was enjoying a playful day with his friends. Meanwhile, we shift our focus to the lookout, where a watchful character named Ryder observed them while they played a game of hide and seek.

Impressed by the pups, Ryder picked up his pup pad to challenge himself with the most challenging level of the game. Time flew by as he immersed himself in the game. Before he knew it, night had fallen, and the pups had already settled into their cozy pup houses. Glancing at his clock, Ryder's reaction was not what you'd expect from a 14-year-old. He muttered a word he had picked up at school, though he rarely used it. The clock displayed a daunting 4:15 a.m., signifying that Ryder had spent the entire night engrossed in his pup pad. Disheartened by his failed attempt to sleep, he decided to take a walk to clear his mind.

As Ryder quietly left the lookout, he encountered his first pup and the very reason he initiated the PAW Patrol, Chase, who was also struggling to get some sleep.

"Hello, Ryder, sir," Chase greeted with a weary voice, attempting to stand up.

"Go back to sleep," Ryder advised. "I'm just going for a walk."

Venturing into the woods to visit another dog he had been observing, Ryder initiated a conversation with Patch, who had made a den that was cleverly camouflaged by leaves on the outside, making it look like an overgrown patch of grass.

"Hello, Patch," Ryder greeted.

Patch responded, "How are you doing?"

"I've just come to check on my brother, Marshall. Do you want to visit him?"

"Yes, please. I need to tell him something. Can we go right now?" Patch asked, a trace of concern in his voice as he detected rustling leaves and the presence of marauders in the forest, sending shivers through his fur. Their journey back to the lookout commenced, but as they neared the edge of the forest…

A sudden event unfolded as a mysterious net ensnared both Ryder and Patch, propelling them into the air. The individual behind this capture appeared intent on making a dramatic entrance, as the net ascended to greet the rising sun, casting a silhouette against the dawn's light. As the figure emerged from the shadows, it was revealed to be none other than Cruella de Vil.

Amid their attempts to break free, two more figures materialized. One was a tall, lean man who seemed to be in his mid-fifties, while the other was a short, stout individual. Patch sensed a glimmer of recognition, though he couldn't quite place them. As the pair drew closer, it became apparent they were masked. Both wore black masks that concealed their entire heads, with the taller one featuring a prominent nose and large ears, while the shorter one had significant ears and a shorter nose, giving their faces an oddly disproportionate appearance. Something about them seemed off, as if they wore the black masks over another layer, obscuring their true identities.

"Hear me, lad, that's the young brat who foiled our plan," the tall one exclaimed, attempting a familiar voice. Patch identified them as Horace and Jasper, although these were not the individuals they were impersonating.

As the three villains celebrated their successful capture, Ryder contemplated a plan, realizing that one of them needed to escape and seek help. Patch, with the ability to slip through the nets if given a gentle nudge, could warn Chase and secure the lookout against Cruella's threats. It seemed like the safest course of action.

Ryder shared his plan with Patch, who agreed to execute it, partly due to his fear of enclosed spaces and partly because it was the most viable option at that moment.

Meanwhile, Chase, who had been roused from an uneasy sleep, was preparing to wake the others using his megaphone. Just as Patch managed to slip through the net and landed in a makeshift den he had been using, he couldn't help but wonder why he wasn't staying at the lookout. It wasn't a luxurious den like the ones he had seen during his time helping Thunderbolt in his show. This was a modest space, with a makeshift bed and a night table made from found materials in the forest. The reason he wasn't at the lookout was because he had been spying on his brother, Marshall.

In the distance, a familiar voice called out, searching for its name in Chase's memory. The distinctive British accent resonated, but Chase was uncertain if the voice belonged to the dog he thought it was. It couldn't be him; they hadn't met in a long time, and it would be a surprise if he were in Canada instead of Hollywood.

"Patch!" Chase exclaimed as he spotted the familiar figure approaching in the woods. Both pups shared a history of friendship, along with Marshall, from their younger days in England, where they had been inseparable. Chase had even lived in London for a while before returning to Canada.

Patch, almost out of breath, said, "Chase, there's no time to lose. Ryder is trapped by Cruella, and we need to rescue him." Chase had his doubts, thinking it might be a trick, but he was bewildered by how quickly Patch had arrived. However, after a moment of hesitation, they both sprinted toward the scene where Cruella's group had just loaded Ryder into a decrepit black van. As they stood there, immobilized by shock, the imposing presence of Cruella de Vil came back to Chase, along with her distinctive fur coats and her unmistakable tobacco scent. Patch's hopes that this might all be a dream were shattered when Cruella coldly declared, "If that Dalmatian brat won't come, then we'll take his owner to lure him into our clutches," followed by an evil, maniacal laugh.

Chase's voice quivered, "Oh no," as he stood paralyzed, his fear warring with his desire to be by his owner's side. Patch, less affected, witnessed a piece of white paper thrown from the van's rear door, and he recognized it could be Ryder's doing, signaling the way to release it.

"Wait, there's a note on the floor. Could it be from Ryder, giving us a clue?" Patch suggested, trying to lift Chase's spirits. As they approached the note, Chase picked it up, discovering it to be surprisingly heavy, as if it concealed something inside. With Ryder gone, this note was their only link to him. Chase had an idea but knew it would require the entire PAW Patrol team's effort.

"We'll need to gather the others and discuss this," Chase said, using the lookout's emergency call to alert the team.

"PAW Patrol, to the lookout," Chase called, his voice wavering slightly. Assuming the role of the leader when Ryder was absent wasn't always easy. When the pups didn't stir, Chase called again, this time with more confidence.

"PAW Patrol, to the lookout, this is an emergency!" The pup tags sounded again, rousing the pups from their slumber. They stumbled out of the elevator, still half-asleep. Surprisingly, there were no toys scattered around this time.

"What's going on?" Skye asked, watching the disoriented pups tumble out of the elevator. However, their unease grew as they noticed that Chase had replaced Ryder.

Taking a deep breath, Chase revealed the grim news, "Pups, Ryder has been taken hostage by Cruella de Vil…" Before he could finish, Marshall interrupted in a panic, "Cruella?"

Chase felt just as terrified as Marshall. To him, Cruella was the villain who had kidnapped the person who had saved him from being run over in Adventure City. Patch, who had been observing from the sidelines and had not hacked any cameras, chimed in, confirming Chase's statement.

"Yes, I saw it with my own eyes," said Patch, surprising the already agitated pups. The elevator started moving up and down, much to the pups' confusion. They had forgotten that Chase had used the emergency call, summoning all the pups except Liberty, Wild Cat, Rex, and Tracker.

While the pups scattered to hide, Chase and Patch, recognizing the newcomers, found their hiding spots. The Twins and Everest stepped out of the elevator, and Chase welcomed them, albeit distractedly, as they had been reading the note.

"We received your call," said the Twins. Chase explained what had happened to Ryder and shared their clue.

"But we don't know where she is," Marshall pointed out, recovering from his initial embarrassment.

"We think we have a clue," Chase said as he pressed a green button on the keyboard. A USB connector appeared, and the small note transformed into a flash drive.

"That's the flash drive we were working on. It was a small project, but it was shelved because it didn't work well," Rocky explained.

"It's our only hope to find Ryder. It has to work," Chase said with determination.

Chase surveyed the group of dogs with a mix of camaraderie and concern. Skye, an intelligent and agile pup who adored flying and aiding others, was like a sister to him. Rocky, the clever mixed breed, was passionate about recycling and maintaining a clean city. Rubble, the youngest in the group, had a knack for digging and building, a role once held by a previous construction pup. Zuma, the loyal water pup, displayed a massive crush on Ella, much to Chase's amusement. Then there was Marshall, Chase's best friend and essentially his brother, who shared a special bond with Patch. Chase had met Patch when he was just a pup, and their friendship had led to exciting adventures in London before returning to Adventure Bay with Marshall.

Chase's heart swelled with affection as he thought about the pups that were both his friends and family. Everest, who cherished the snow and utilized her rig, had become an essential member of the team. Tuck and Ella, the inseparable twins, had quickly proven their worth and support for each other.

Chase's gaze shifted to the computer screen, where a video from the van's interior played. He was too preoccupied with his concern for Ryder to notice Everest's dreamy look, even though she was watching him closely. The video showed the masked man, one of whom was acting as Horace.

"They'll never know we're taking them to the master's house, will they? Can't we find a quicker way to the prison?" Horace sounded unsure, and fear laced his words.

Jasper, acting as the other masked man, absentmindedly responded, "Huh?" He seemed distracted and ignored his brother's hesitation.

"We've failed before. Don't you think it's time to reconsider?" Horace hesitated again, suggesting doubts about their actions.

"Horace, did you take the tablet from him?" Jasper asked, preparing to drive the van, seemingly uninterested in Horace's concerns.

Horace retrieved the pup-pad from the back of the van, and the video stopped. Patch and Marshall immediately grasped the urgency of the situation.

"We must prevent them from reaching the De Vil house," they declared simultaneously, aware of the potential danger awaiting Ryder.

"It's a day's journey from here if we use our rigs," Patch added, revealing that he had a rig of his own. While it was a regular vehicle, Patch enjoyed riding it when he visited the Lookout.

"Let's go," Chase urged, directing everyone toward the slide. Most of the pups eagerly slid down, ready to embark on their mission. However, Patch approached Chase, who was about to let him descend the elevator to retrieve his rig.

"Chase," Patch spoke uneasily, "Cruella is very intelligent, and she may have taken steps to stop us before we reach her. Be prepared for any..."

"CHASE!" Rubble's cry rang through the slide and into the lookout. "My rig won't start!"

"Mine won't either," Marshall chimed in, followed by Zuma, Rocky, and Skye.

"I'll try Ryder's ATV," Chase said, attempting unsuccessfully to start both Ryder's ATV and his police rig. "Rocky, can you repair the rigs?"

"In a moment," Rocky replied, inspecting his automated toolbox made from recycled materials, which had also been damaged by Cruella's actions. "Even if I could open it, I'd need a total of one month, working day and night, to repair them."

"I think it's a two-week walk from here, but we'll need to split into groups of three," Patch suggested. "I know of a back entrance, but we'll need someone intelligent, tall and strong to open it, a water pup to disable cameras and alarms. For this, Chase, Zuma, and Ella will come with me. Marshall, you'll need more strength to enter from the side. Take Tuck to pick the lock, Rocky to disable the alarm, and Everest, with her ice powers, can disable all the cameras while Rubble creates a distraction at the front door."

"Wait," Chase interjected, "Tuck, Ella, Everest, can you check your rigs?"

Tuck and Ella got into their shared rig and started it without any issues, the same with Everest. Patch saw this as an opportunity and adjusted the plan.

"Instead of walking in one group until we're close enough, we now have two rigs we can use in one group," Patch explained. "We'll enter with full force. Marshall, your group can move faster. We're heading to the pier to get some heavy gun help. Everest, use your snowmobile's sledge to transport everyone until we're close enough. Here, use these collars to ignite your powers only when needed." When everyone was ready, Chase gave the signal to start.

"Paw Patrol is on a Roll!" Chase announced, and they began their march towards Cruella's hideout.
