(War For One Nation part 3)
Once getting on the U-shaped ship and arriving on the flight pad, Team Future and company entered the massive kingdom that stood facing the back of the beautiful pool of ocean water that is running its waters on the short pattern cliff that is leading to the main water. The kingdom itself is facing the extremely massive city of Beta with all its glory and history. Violet and Hiro managed to be united with the others and were guided inside the building while getting the chance to look at their surroundings. Unlike any country in the outside world, One Nation has the reputation of being beautiful as an ultra-rare gem as they can see the structures and designs were very African with the touch of super advanced technology. But more importantly, they saw all types of animals that they would see if they were in Africa, except for them being human-sized, humanoid, and wealth-dressed lavish creatures.
Upon entering they received endless whispering among the natives both human and humanoid animals which they can not blame, since they have not seen outsiders step foot in One Nation not since their country has closed its borders. Either way, they being kelp with a watchful eye due to the fact that the people of One Nation along with the other countries do have a terrible relationship history with outsiders. But that is not important at the moment. No, what's important is for them to have a word and face-to-face conversation with Akeem. As soon as they made it through a section of steps and found themselves facing enormous golden double doors with a Black Lion face symbol in the center, and see two human soldiers wearing gold and red pattern armor blocking their way with their spears.
"The King of One Nation just needs the representatives of each faction." one of the male human soldiers spoke.
"Well, it looks like you guys don't have a choice or a say in the matter." Kovu looked at the supers.
Honey lemon looked at the others. "If we are going to do what we came to do, we have to comply with the king's commands."
"Then I suggest you five go inside and speak with Akeem. Just choose your words wisely and keep your emotions stable," said Robocop, before looking at Hiro.
Hiro completely understood while stepping forward. Along with Honey lemon, Helen, Bob, and Voyd. Once doing so, Kiara told the others to hold tight before joining Kovu inside the now open double doors. Upon entering they have to walk through a medium short hall while seeing the guards lined up on each side of the hall before facing another golden double door. After it opens itself up sideways they saw a whole group of people and humanoid animals inside the incredible massive luxurious throne room. They walked through as they see a pattern of the royal guards and the Dora Milajes standing in a line on each side of the lavish walk path, as they stood at attention both waiting for an order and preparing for the unexpected.
As soon as they made it to the front they saw a huge beautiful gold and silver throne platform. Sitting on the medium-sized X-shaped throne that is black with carved silver words that are written in One Nation's native language, sat a young adult dark skin man who is the same age as Hiro and their age group. The young adult king of One Nation wore a dark purple sleeveless outfit that has a golden outline that matched his laceless shoes. Akeem had a low fade haircut with a freshly shaved face along with currently having a serious look on his face.
"My word. He looks almost exactly like his father, Bob," whispered Helen, along with having a shocked facial expression.
Bob nodded as he lean over to his wife. "You can say that again, Helen. He looks just like his father, Champa."
Deep inside herself, Helen felt her emotions and memories kicking in when remembering Champa back in the Glory Days era. Helen felt both joyful and bitter towards Champa for one important reason. She looked at Akeem who is eyeing them all and just can't help but feel happy due to missing his father who just happens to be their beloved best friend. After Kovu and Kiara told her and the others what had happened to the falling former king it brought strong emotional pain to them, to those who know Champa personally who were the Glory Day superheroes. Helen felt her maternal instinct kicking in and just wanted to just go up there and hug Akeem.
However, Helen reminded herself that Akeem does not know her in that way nor have they ever met until now. So she can forget about them having an Aunt and Nephew relationship. For now at least. The five noticed a young dark brown woman with a short ponytail braid wearing a female multicolor dashiki who is currently playing with her tablet. Whatever is on the screen she smiled before pressing the screen one more time and then tossing the tablet out of her hand. The five supers did not expect the tablet itself to turn into pure computer particles and then disappear without a trace. Keeping in mind, they are in a super advanced country meaning that will be seeing things beyond their understanding or comprehension.
"Well, Well, I have got to give you two some kudos. Kiara. Kovu. You two were bold enough to leave our home to go to the outside world and return with not one or two, but a bunch of outsiders. Much less their supers." said Gwanda, before looking at the five supers and giving a quick smile.
"Look, Akeem." Hiro stepped up before looking at the dude who raised his eyebrow. "Ah, I mean, King Akeem. We do not have any intentions of harming your country, your people, or any of your neighboring countries. You see we..."
Akeem raised his hand to stop Hiro from talking any further. "Here let me make this conversation a bit more...straight to the point. Does any of you have any ideas on why OCP has unwanted and excellent interest in my country?. Much less be willing to partner with Zira?."
"Well, based on our side point of view, we hacked communications from one of their facilities and caught word that they needed your country's precious Element Zeros to help construct a super classified device. In which we do not know what device they were talking about. As for Zira?..." Voyd tried to come up with some accurate answers while not getting into her nervous panic mode, due to not doing so well with talking or being around royalty like Akeem.
Honey lemon saw the poor woman about to break and just have to speak the rest for her. "We believe that she is the one they were referring to when they mentioned a sudden business partner they required a couple of months ago. They never give us a name or whereabouts. But for one thing, is for certain, they are giving Zira unlimited aid of troops, droids, tech, etc."
"I see." that is what all Akeem said at the moment.
Gwanda then said while motioning her way in front of the throne. "OCP has been given us issues since they arrived here much less helping Zira to make her attempt to conquer One Nation. The war itself between ourselves and Zira have been going on before me, Akeem, Kovu, and Kiara were even born. Unfortunately, Zira can give us a challenge especially when she is able to develop a device to break through our shielded barriers by special EMP. And I am assuming that she has a lot more thought-up tech in her inventory."
"And now, we're facing the breaking point of this war." Akeem rose from his chair and stepped down to walk over to the massive wall window to see his city. "And unfortunately the odds of us winning is in the balance with Zira's. That is something that I do not approve of."
"Then...let us help," spoke Helen, getting Akeem's attention.
Akeem turned his attention from the wall window to Helen's. Having an eyebrow raised and a small smile. "An alliance you say?. What motivated the rest of you to be so kind in leaning us a helping hand, Mother Helen?."
Helen's eyes were wide open in shock when Akeem said her name much less knowing who she truly is when being her alter ego Elastigirl/Mrs. Incredible. But once again, that is not important at the moment when telling herself.
"Your majesty we have a common enemy. OCP has taken everything from our family. They forced us out of our homes and caused us to lose one member of our combined family. We needed each other. I think...no, I believe that we can put the odds back into One Nation's favor in this war." said Bob, looking serious.
"We will respect your wishes if you refuse our aid," said Honey lemon.
"We promise we won't raise a complaint. We'll hop back into our jet and leave this glorious country and hidden world. You will never know that we came here based on how fast we left." spoke Hiro.
Akeem gave it a thought. Based on the history of the Hidden World besides what had happened a couple of years ago during the Glory Days era, Outsiders should never be trusted no matter the circumstances. In truth, he wanted to meet an outsider and the outside world itself when he was a child. Let alone remembered his father saying that he can always trust Helen, Bob, Franny, Cass, Luisa, Sierra, and Lucius. So why not him?. Much less trust the others.
Nodding to himself, Akeem looked at the five while having his hands behind his back before looking at his cousin. "Gwanda, please provide our most honorable guests with information we gathered thus far and combine it with any information they have. We have a war to win."
Everyone was surprised to hear Akeem be willing to let the outsiders stay much less share their information with them. This surprised both Kiara and Kovu when hearing their best friend.
"Thank you so much, King Akeem." Helen looked at him who was going to pass them through with a smile.
"Please, Mother Helen and the rest of you just call me Akeem. Also please help yourself and explore the palace and city. We have plenty of food that you never heard of before and mingle with the people of One Nation. Kovu and Kiara please follow me." said Akeem, once leaving his way out of the throne room.
Kovu and Kiara follow suit with the mindset of already knowing what is going to happen next. After walking out of the throne room and taking a good walk away from the other supers who were standing there waiting for updated news, and found themselves in the indoor garden area. Once there, Akeem turned to face his friends and was about to speak until he got beaten to the punch.
"Yes, I know, Akeem. Why did we leave home and not bother to leave a note or say anything to anyone?. Well in my defense I tried to convince you to seek help from the supers after I keep telling you that the outside world has lifted the superhero ban, and yet you refuse to take the window of opportunity." said Kiara, folding her arms and have a little frown.
Akeem sighed. "Kiara, I know your heart is in the right place. You wanted to end this fight and bring Kovu's insane mother into custody and make her face trial for her actions against her country and people."
"Don't forget my crazy older brother, Nuka, and my wild sister, Vitani. They are in it too." pointed out Kovu, while pulling off a yellow-orange flower to smell.
"Yes, them as well. Still, it was highly risky for any one of you to leave the Hidden World. Especially when OCP is everywhere." informed Akeem.
Kiara through her hands up in the air in frustration before quickly going back to her pouting. "What other choices do we have, Akeem?. None of our neighboring countries would dare lean a hand in our current situation, no matter how much we pleaded with them to aid us in our time of need. Not even your beloved girlfriend did not bother to help you personally."
Akeem put his hands behind his back while keeping his calmness at bay. "Kiara, please leave Elsa out of this. You know as well as I know that she and others can not put their people's lives at risk. OCP will not hesitate to attack their country and conquer with ease. Except for Arendelle. Elsa's territory country is going to be a while to conquer due to..."
"We get it, Akeem. Just please give these guys a chance. What other choice do we have?. In my opinion, not all outsiders are untrustworthy, backstabbing, wicked, evil, and liars." said Kiara.
"Simple, Kiara. I will give you and tell everyone the answer once I return to the throne room. Until then, please entertain our guests and whatnot." Akeem took a few steps away from the two and stopped. Then he looked back at the two with a questionable facial expression. "By the way. What motivated the two of you to go to America and received not only Team Future but the others as well?."
Kovu rubbed the back of his head and gave Akeem a nervous smile. "The Team Future idea was Kiara's idea. We were originally supposed to get the Elastic Dynamics, Mr. Incredible, and Frozone. As for the motivation for the whole thing...it was from Elder Rafiki."
"I see. That would explain a lot." Akeem resumed his walk out of the garden center. Right before saying, "I will be discussing that with him later."
Akeem took walk down the curved smooth grey and gold metal hallway before reaching the silver elevator. Once pulling his right sleeve back to reveal a technical screen arm wristband, he began to type commands for the elevator to come to where he is. The elevator arrived in about twelve seconds as Akeem stepped inside before the doors closed and before the box moved him to the level he desired to go. He leaned up against the wall that was carved in beautiful African design and had his mind on a lot of things. For one, is what Kiara just said. True they do not have any choice to make. Let alone not receive aid from none of their neighboring countries.
The memory of having the meeting council amongst the six-country leaders as soon as the first sighting of OCP arrived in their Hidden World and taking attack against One Nation. Akeem remembered every detail of that meeting in his throne room. He sat in his throne chair looking amongst the six leaders of six countries in a circle group who were in hologram form and sitting down in their throne room or jungle.
Flashback
"How did these Outsiders even have the needed equipment to be able to enter the plain of our Hidden World?." asked a silverback gorilla by the name of Kerchak, who is upset about the whole thing once word got out about OCP.
Kerchak, who is accompanied by his wife/queen Kala, and their adopted human son Tarzan who is sitting behind his parents on a smooth downed tree trunk.
Akeem relaxed in his chair and have both hands together in the 'Ready to Learn' position and said, "From what my informative has told me they got here through the help from the exhaled lioness, Zira. That is much proven since she still has her hate and anger toward all the people of One Nation. Specifically towards Father Simba."
"So it seems that Zira's fueled hatred by the death of her husband, Scar has ever reached new heights. It triggered her to ally herself with Outsiders who have the reputation of pure endless greed and pure endless corruption. Now the situation is dealing with an insane diluted lioness with the extreme supply of firepower at her disposal." said Hiccup, sitting in his chair with his wife/chieftess Ruffnut, who is twirling her long left braid to keep herself from getting bored from the meeting.
"Yes, it seems that is the case, Hiccup," said Elsa, having her sister Anna standing on the right side of her throne chair. "What is their current status?."
"So far, OCP is bringing Zira supply of troops and other things. She is using them to her advantage to be sure. One of them is digging for Eezos in the jungle. Knowing full well that the jungle environment of One Nation is sensitive and fragile if tried to unearth forgotten or purposely left Eszos." informed Akeem.
Zeus rubbed his thick white beard. "That's not good at all, Akeem. Do you have any form of strategy to combat Zira and her new friends?."
Everyone waited patiently for Akeem to answer the question who is in deep thinking.
"Even though I am your Black Lion, I am also the king of One Nation. Meaning as King of our origin country, I ask of you to come to aid my people...no our people in our time of need. With the combined might of all seven countries, we will be able to push OCP out of our world and bring Zira to justice. Along with her followers and children."
All six world leaders looked at each other with unsure facial expressions after hearing what Akeem have purposed to the current situation. Akeem both waited patiently while not liking what their faces were showering.
"I'm sorry, King Akeem, but I can not put my people at risk of the crossfire," said Kerchak.
"Nor will we," said Hiccup.
The others nodded their heads in agreement as they too told the same thing to Akeem.
"Are you serious?. Are all of you pulling humor on me?. Please say yes." asked Akeem, hoping this was what he heard with an unbelievable facial expression.
Zeus spoke up. "Sorry, my dear boy but we're not cracking a joke with you. We're serious."
"Akeem this situation is far too dangerous for any of us to be involved in. We have to think about the security of our country and people," said Hercules, crossing his muscular arms.
"Security?." Akeem raised his brow. "Hercules you are the super strongest person in all of the people in the Hidden World. Who are you trying to fool?."
"What Hercules is trying to say, Akeem, is that security is of the utmost importance for our people. This means that the security needs to be kept in our country and not carry it to another country in a sudden cause of conflict," spoke Kala.
"It would be different if it was Zira alone. I hope you understand, Akeem." said Hans, looking at Akeem with honesty.
Akeem looked down at his feet in quietness. "Despite the countless times, I helped with your difficult situations and succeed without a doubt. My father once told me this. An act of loyalty and responsibility towards your people and the people of all seven countries as the Black Lion or Black Lioness can be returned in favor times over. And even if they refuse to do the same, you still protect them regardless of any given situation."
Akeem looked up at the others with disappointment on his face. "What makes you think that Zira will just stop at One Nation?. What makes you think that she wouldn't mind sharing her anger toward you?. I'll respect all of your decision. But remember one thing. Another thing that my father told me. One strong country all by itself is weak. But with multiple strong countries together they are strong. And you all know what my father means about that."
They all nodded what Akeem's father, Champa mean by that to those who are older and grew up with the man.
"We wish you and One Nation the best of luck. We will be praying," said Kerchak, right before turning off his hologram projector and cutting the connection amongst the others.
"Best of luck to you, Akeem. And if Zira and OCP dare try to step foot on Berk, they will suffer dearly at our hands," said Hiccup, being serious on that statement.
"And that is not a joke we assure you. Good luck, Brother Akeem," said Ruffnut, smiling before they too turned off communications.
Right after that, Zeus, his wife Hera, and Hercules said their good luck to Akeem and left along with Hans. Leaving just Elsa after she kindly told Anna to leave and left her with Akeem. Akeem looked at the woman he loves as she too looked back at him.
"I most certainly would have thought my girlfriend will be by my side in my time of need. Especially when I did the same for you countless times," said Akeem getting up from his chair and walking down to turn and face his beloved.
Elsa gave Akeem a sad smile. "If I was not the queen of Arendelle, I will be by your side and be with you through all of this and you know that my love. You and I both know that we have a major responsibility once we become rulers of our country. Just please stay safe and stay alive when combating Zira and her new ally. I love you, my king. My Black Lion."
Elsa blew a kiss at Akeem and he returned the gesture before she signed off.
End of Flashback
Akeem felt the elevator stop at the destination that he desired to go to and exited out. He walked through a spiral hallway with the walls painted in strange yet fascinating artwork before reaching the dow level elevator to took to take him down to the platform. Once reaching the area which happens to be his cousin, Gwanda's tech lab/medical bay which is where she builds his Black Lion suits. She always claims that everything can be improved no matter how advanced or outstanding is, which made Akeem think she sounds ridiculous. And yet she is the smartest person in One Nation.
"Your majesty." spoke one of Gwanda's lab assistants before doing the One Nation salute.
Akeem did the same before unsaluting. "Is it ready?."
"Why yes, it is, Akeem. This way." the humanoid Lion spoke once guiding his king.
The man took Akeem to a part section of the place that hold multiple versions of the Black Lion suits. From regular color to a variety of colors, which he only wears the original color. But each one is different from the others. Gwanda was attempting to craft her cousin the ultimate Black Lion suit that is far and beyond superior to the other suits she made, along with the old suits that are worn by Black Lions and Lioness before them. With every single piece of data, she collected throughout Akeem's fights and how well his suit is performing while making notes of improvements, she has finally done it. Gwanda has finally achieved her ultimate work of building a much more advanced Black Lion suit can imaginable.
"There it is your majesty." the man showed Akeem his new and improved Black Lion suit. "Gwanda calls it the 'Black Lion X4.O'. This suit can hack any device touchless through your mind connection while sending you intel about the targeted object. Along with summoning a hologram group of Dora Milajes in your fights, so that way you won't fight by your lonesome much less have the advantage of using that feature to create an allusion of yourself to trick the enemy. This suit also has the ability to teleport you from point A to point B."
Akeem looked back at the humanoid lion. "Meaning?."
"Meaning that you can travel at a far distance just by simply using your pinpoint hologram map to reach your desired destination. You can bring along anyone with you once you selected them through mind connection. Oh, yeah, this suit can scramble weaponry before the enemy can use it let alone have a built-in voice hack. That feature will able you to copy someone's voice and then make it your own to use on or fool the enemies to your advantage. And finally, Gwanda wanted me to tell you that she modified the face helmet feature. The face of the helmet is face senor. Whatever face you make the face helmet eyes and brows will display what you're showing on your actual face. Outstanding is it not?." asked the Lion.
Akeem takes a good look at his brand new Black Lion suit and just can not help but have a smile on his face. "Outstanding it is. Gwanda outdid herself yet again."
Once getting closer the suit instantly digitally transformed into a silver teeth lion necklace. Akeem was surprised since he has to mind connect his old one in order to put it on and whatnot.
"I'm assuming, Gwanda had this suit programmed to me and only me, yes?." asked Akeem once pulling the necklace off the full-body mannequin and replacing it with the old necklace.
"Yes. Yes, she did." answered the male humanoid Lion.
Meanwhile, back with Team Future and the other supers who were quite enjoying themselves amongst the natives of the superior advanced country of One Nation. Each member of their respective faction took the time to introduce themselves and learned that they know their secret identities due to having super superior advanced hologram computers, and informed them that they do not need to be weary and just be themselves. Which was not too hard for them to do. Currently, Hiro was in the computer lab trying to wrap his brain on the comprehension of the tech which he has zero understanding of. Not even Maymax can not comprehend it her own darn self which is in fact scary.
Hiro walked around the large place before laying eyes on his sister. Vanellope who is a bit taller is in complete awe at what she is seeing. Let alone trying to attempt to hack the system but keep failing for the first time in her life!."
Vanellope noticed her big brother and said, "Hiro this place so...so...so...so."
"So uncomprehensive?. Yeah, I too am in total disbelief that something like this can even exist," said Hiro, who had his helmet off and showed his goatee and short haircut.
"Not to mention they have this thing called a..." Vanellope was trying to remember the name without disrespecting anyone.
"Kikyo. It's called a Kikyo." said one of the female humanoid lionesses.
"Right. It's like a Wi-Fi system, but both beyond and extremely better. This system connects absolutely everything around this whole country. And I mean the whole country." pointed out Vanellope, eyeing the hologram screen.
Hiro scratched his head. "Yeah, you don't say. What are its features?."
"Well from what they told me, the Kikyo is one thing that keeps the entire country going. It controls transportation and connects to every device like our cell phones without having to type a password. And get this, Hiro. The signal strength is beyond excellent. I have never seen high-speed Internet like what I'm seeing." confessed Vanellope, right before receiving a friendly chuckle from the natives.
"Man, I never imagined that anything that we're currently seeing actually exists," said Hiro, stroking his goatee.
"You should seriously shave that thing off." Vanellope frowned. "That beard is so not you."
"That's how feel about your hairy legs and..."
"Don't finish that sentence or else," warned Vanellope, with a blush of embarrassment showing.
Somewhere in the other section of the shared indoor buildings, Helen, Bob, Lucius, Franny, Cass, Sierra, and Lusia were in the war room seeing how nice it was as they had never anything so nice and well kept. They talked amongst themselves about what to do once Akeem announced them to return to the throne and received his answer. They hope it is a slow yes and not a fast no for their sake. It's been rough since they have no home to go to except for Team Future's hail carrier, and still can not believe they were in this type of predicament. Suddenly, their attention was caught by the sound of mechanical feet and looked to see none other than their new friend/alley Alex Murphy. Or better known as Robocop.
Yes, the Robocop from the infamous Detroit, who they rescued after they learned that OCP had captured him and tried to attempt on adding an extra program to his Prime Directives in one of their top secret facilities. Making him their mindless puppet the same that they did with his best friend and former police partner John Cable, who is now RoboCable. Robocop went through a lot way before he even became Robocop. But after knowing, trusting, and joining the cause with Team Future and the other supers he made his soul purpose to fight with them and help once again take down OCP. He did it once back in the day.
"What's up Murph?." said Lucius, trying to get a read of his emotionless cyborg friend.
Robocop looked at his friends and said in his cyborg's voice. "Rafiki asks for an audience with you seven. You should meet him. He's a good man or should I a good humanoid baboon."
"You don't say?." Helen raised her brow.
Bob shrugged his shoulders. "Well, shoot, Murphy, where can we find him?."
Suddenly, all seven saw their vision blurry while feeling the vibration running through their bodies. Right before hearing an echoing voice from out of nowhere.
"Hehehe. Simple, just follow the trail that I left for you, my friends. I'll be waiting."
After the person finished talking their sights went back to normal. Well almost due to seeing a deep gold sparkle trial that is leading out of their current spot.
"Okay, now that is downright spooky." said a shocked Franny.
"Well, like the natives told us." Lusia managed to try and keep her calmness at bay. "Expect the weird and bazaar of One Nation."
"But in our current situation it's Rafiki," said Cass.
Robocop walked away from them to the front and was about to leave but then stopped and turn to his left side and said, "I advise you guys not to hesitate. He will do it again."
All seven took Robocop's warning and followed the trail without any signs of hesitation. The trail leads them out of the place they were in and then takes them to the same stairs they walked on when they arrived inside the kingdom. The trail is taking them to the left where a colorful design metal African mask as it was shaped into a door. The door itself slid open from side to side, letting them enter to find themselves inside a large cave filled with all sorts of strange and unidentified objects. They passed a few people who were in different corners and looked like they were talking to someone they could not see or hear. For one thing for sure, the people were having a deep conversation towards the unknown thing.
They managed to return back at the task at hand and finish following the trail before founding themselves facing a human-sized and humanoid baboon. Rafiki laughed when turning to face some of the remaining Glory Day supers with delight.
"Ah, welcome my friends." Rafiki smiled before doing a bow and put his staff forward as a way of greeting. "My name is Rafiki. The one and only shaman and mjuzi of One Nation."
"Well, uh it is so nice to meet you, Rafiki," said Sierra giving a friendly smile.
Rafiki looked back at them with a smile in place. "Yes, Yes, likewise. King Champa talked so highly and respectfully of you seven. Heck, he cherished the friendship that he made with you."
"Yeah...friendship," Helen spoke with a little upset in her voice when hearing Champa's name.
"So any reason why you want to see us?. I was looking forward to seeing more sightseeing in this wonderful kingdom and city," said Bob, acting like a pure tourist.
Rafiki chuckled. "Understandable. Now, the reason why called you here is to talk about Akeem. The young king...he trusts you all based on what his father him about you when was a kid. My advice is for you to not push your luck with him."
All seven looked at Rafiki in confusion. Then Rafiki said, "What I mean is that don't start trying to force convince Akeem to reopen the country's borders and resume trade, tour, and foreign exchange. You will make him assume that you are only here to gain your personal goal and force his hand to kick you out of here. You, Outsiders, have a troubled history with us and the other countries. I suggest that you get to know him better and he'll do the same to you. His father told me not too long ago that this country is ready to reopen again. I personally don't want it to be rushed or forced in any way."
"Understood. I too don't want it to be rushed at all either," said Lucius, crossing his arms.
"Same goes for me," said Cass.
"Will make sure we tell the others not to act selfish or sketchy around Akeem. The last thing we need is to lose a powerful ally much less a super," said Helen, with the mindset of wanting to know Akeem is more of a familia way.
It did not take long for all the supers to come to the throne room and stood in front waiting for the king of One Nation to arrive and deliver his answer to all. Akeem's timing is spot on when entering the throne room in his new Black Lion suit while carrying his helmet in his right hand.
Once approaching the front to see all the outside superheroes, Gwanda smirked at her cousin when having the idea of what he is really doing.
"Let's be honest here, Akeem. You just wanted to show off your new and improved suit to the superheroes," said Gwanda, still holding on to her grin.
Akeem grinned back when a stepped onto the steps that lead to his throne chair. "I swear, Gwanda, I do not know what you are talking about. You are so silly suspicious."
Once Akeem stopped at the top and put his helmet on he turned to face everyone showing the new realistic look of the Black Lion with its LED eyes lighting up perfectly.
"Here me citizens of Beta. I officially announce Team Future and company as allies of One Nation," spoke Akeem nice and loud.
Violet stepped up once Akeem walked down and faced the others.
"I sure hope that we met your expectations and do whatever we can to stop the current threat," said Violet, trying to keep her word after what her mother and others told her and the others.
Akeem looked at Violet with his eyebrow raised. "I just hope that you and the others can keep up with the Black Lion."
"That is one weird way to say hi to new friends." pointed out Wilbur.
"Forgive my cousin, Wilbur. Akeem is not so good when talking nicely and being non-hostile towards friendly outsiders. But I'm sure you can fix that during your time here.," said Gwanda, when receiving a nod from Wilbur.
After Akeem told them to head over to the war room for a briefing, Gwanda walked beside her cousin while exciting out of the throne room.
"I still can not believe that you are willing to get help from outsiders. Much less them being supers at that," spoke Gwanda.
Akeem looked at his cousin. "I'm not getting help. I'm just giving it."
Gwanda took the chance to stand in front of Akeem after they exited the throne with a concerned face. "Then, please take Kovu and Kiara with you on this battle. Let alone have the royal guards or Dora Milaje with you. For once, I want you to stop putting yourself in harm's way and thinking that you have to do this all by your lonesome."
Akeem sighed with little frustration once hearing the same argument with Gwanda. And I mean the exact multiple time augment.
Akeem pointed at himself. "Don't forget Gwanda. I am the Black Lion." Next, he pointed at the throne chamber. "And not some young king on a throne."
With that said he walked past Gwanda and head his way to the war room. Gwanda put both hands on her hips and watched her cousin walk off.
"Then can you both be King and Black Lion at the same time?." she asked.
Akeem looked back at Gwanda and nodded. "Challenge accepted cousin."
Akeem reached the war room where all the supers were waiting around the rounded table that is showing the entire country live. Akeem has his hands behind his back before looking at the table.
"Team Future and company, I hope you managed to familiarize yourselves around the palace and the city of Beta," said Akeem, looking at each one.
"Your people are so warm welcoming and very friendly. I can not wait to get this task out of the way and start my vacation here." said a taller Dash.
"Yeah, I want to try their sports. It looks very fun and exciting," said GoGo.
Suddenly, an alarm went off around them which did not phase Akeem, Kovu, Kiara, or the other natives but it was concerning.
"That's an emergency stress call," said Kovu, when touching the pointed dot on the table.
The table hologram was a humanoid bird who looked in a form of panic and fear. Zazu was relieved when seeing Akeem and spoke with a bit of stutter.
"King Akeem we are under attack in the area of Pride Rock!. OCP and Zira's troops are in the area. As we speak, Queen Nala and her team are in a need of aid." Informed Zazu.
"Huh, this should have been a cakewalk for my mother and the Dora Mliaje," informed Kiara, in worry.
"Yes, that should be the case. But unfortunately, it is not due to having our own defenses being used against us!." said Zazu, before ducking down when hearing an explosion go off.
"Impossible." Akeem looked in shock. "There is no way that Zira can hack the Kikyo and be able to both get in and use our defenses against us. Hacking the Kikyo is completely impossible."
"I don't have much time. They're getting closer. I don't know how long can Queen Nala, Dora Mliaje, Timon, and Pumbaa can keep up the defense. Oh, no, they..."
Zazu's connection immediately went off with a static and died.
"Akeem there is no time to waste. They need our help," said Kiara, with anxiety written all over her face.
"Yes, you are right, Kiara. Fire up and ready the Ikki for us to use," ordered Akeem to one of the guards before turning to face Team Future and the others. "Now, you will all get the chance to see what the Black Lion can do."
"Not that we have any doubts of your capabilities. But we do not mind seeing you in action," said Miguel, feeling the Rider coming out and doing its thing.
"I am so totally hyped right now for this!. I can not believe that I'm going to see the Black Lion in action!." said an enthusiastic Voyd, who just can't help being a fangirl.
"Yeah, that's the spirit," said Fred, who too is excited as her.
