A few weeks later, people gather for the festival of colors, a pre-party for Holi. "I can strike then, too," Kaante says as she laughs from the fountain.
Daah is reviewing the final details for her party a few days after Holi. "I agreed to do this because I want to leave my mark for senior year. Plus, I have a huge fucking house that my parents don't care if I throw a party." "Plus, a sister who gets an all-access pass," Mariam said. "Wrong. Seniors only! Except for a few juniors who may be asked by a senior. We will be drinking, and mom and dad do not want you or any other underage motherfuckers here." "Come on, like you didn't sneak any drinks before," Mariam protested. "Mom and dad are not having that on their conscience. You are going to stay with Silver or Devon," Daah states. "What! I might stay with Devon. I think he and Danish might do night scouting, and I was invited to go." "Good!" Daah sighs and sits by her window. "I wish Sangharsh was here. I thought that cotton ball would have worked. Maybe it needs more magic, but I can't feed magic to the fountain. Sangharsh did that, so everyone was prone to Grand Chaalaak's attacks." Daah looks at her watch. "Mariam, are you ready? We have to bike to the Holi party!" "You're not driving me?" Mariam asks. "No. No one drives today." Mariam rolls her eyes. "Can't we fly?" "It takes 30 minutes by flight and ten by bike." "I swear. I hope being a Knight is worth it," Mariam said. Daah laughs.
Ash is helping his mother set up a party with Devonish, Sajin, and Devon. "Almost done; then you boys can go to your party," Devonish said. "You mean you boy and men," Delia said as Ash and Sajin blushed. "Mom," Ash said. "Please, boys, will do," Sajin said. "Nonsense. You two are men now," Devonish said. "So, mom will embarrass me when you go to university?" Devon asks. "I think we are done," Ash said. Ash sees Sangharsh look at him. "Looks good. I wonder how the teen party will be?" Ash rolls his eyes as he cleans up all of the boxes but freezes when Sangharsh touches him. "Come on. Can a guy have fun?" "Leave me alone!" Ash shouts. "Are you okay?" Delia asks. "Yeah. Sorry, some cobwebs were stuck to my hair." "Let me fix it." "No. Stop," Ash says as Delia fixes Ash's hair. Sajin and Devon laugh. Sangharsh laughs but stops when he thinks about his mother. "Mom. I miss you," he said. Ash doesn't hear that but kisses his mom, which makes Sangharsh angry. "See you later," the trio said. "Have fun," Delia said. "Not too much!" Devonish said. "I won't," Devon says, which Ash and Sajin blush. "Let's go," they say in unison.
At Twilight's Place, the teen scene was glowing. The teens all wore neon attires and glow-in-the-dark accessories. Odd drinks water and sees Brock and Cressila make out on the dance floor. "You know, we all can see you," Odd calls out. "We can join them," Dawn teases as she blows him his ear. "Lead the way," Odd says. Ulrich laughs. "Thank you. Odd giving the play-by-play was boring." Jared arrives and takes some food. "My mom was on the phone with Dean Kathin. He had the nerve to complain about us saving the day at the parade." "I know. My mother told him if he wants his job, he needs to lay off," Ulrich said. Jared laughs. Aelita and Hiroshima pass out bracelets to the guest. "We had no weird jumbie issues for weeks," Hiroshima said. "Yeah. I wonder if she is planning something for Holi," Aelita said. "I hope not. Alexis said that some of the powder was made from crushed-up cotton flowers." "Good!" Elsewhere, Jeremy and Allison were checking the timer for the powder drop. "I checked the program four times; I hope everything works out," Allison said. "Allison, do you remember your living nightmare?" Jeremy asks. "Yeah. Why?' "I don't remember much. I know it was about XANA, but nothing much." "Weird. I remember everything about it. However, I would have a different nightmare." "About what?" "Why do I have chronic stage fright? That is a backstory for the ages," Allison said. "You know what? Your boyfriend didn't tell us about his nightmare," Jeremy points out. "He had one?" Allison asks. At that moment, Ash, Sajin, and Devon arrived. "Great, beer," Devon said. "Wrong! Unless you have a red wristband, juice!" Sajin said. "No fair." "He's right," Ash said. Devon sees Hiroki and Mariam and walks over. Silver walks by the group. "Can I join?" she asks.
Ash and Sajin helped fix the timer for the powder drop as Allison asked Ash a question. "What was your nightmare?" Ash was caught off guard by that. Sangharsh laughs. "He is still living in it." "It was a confrontation with Sangharsh," Ash said. Sangharsh looks at him. "Oh," Sajin said. "I can see why you didn't talk about it." "Yeah. It still feels real at times. I was too close to home, if you know what I mean," Ash said. Sangharsh growls. "I'll show you!" Sangharsh touches a powder bomb, and it goes off. "Whoa!" The group shouts. Yumi's and Hiroshima's watches go off. "A spirit," Yumi said. "A restless spirit," Hiroshima said. Sangharsh gulps. "Shit. I did too much." He touches the powder, and it goes back into the bomb. "What was that?" Jeremy asks. "A restless spirit," Yumi said. "I sensed it." "Me too," Hiroshima said. Ash J sees the scene and decides to go over there. "I think they can handle it," Moxie said. Rocky notices the tension between his friends. "Is everything okay?" Rocky asks. "Yeah," Moxie said. Johanne and Haru notice the tension. "Ever since Ash J's attack, there has been tension," Haru said. "I know. I wonder why?" Johanne asks. "We should check the area before the final dance," Allison said. "Sure, I'll let everyone know," Ash said. Sangharsh starts to panic. "I went too far. I need to make myself scarce." Ash whispers to Ash J, and he nods. "I need to check the area. We might have a jumbie here after all," Ash J said. Moxie nods. She sighs and sees Rocky dancing with a fellow student. Daah sees everyone using their wands to scan the area. "Is there something wrong?" Daah asks. "Yeah, Hiroshima and Yasmin think a restless spirit set off a powder bomb," Cressila said. "I see. I noticed nothing near the shrine, but I can check the garden." "Sure, Sajin's there with some of the future Knights." Daah heads outside and senses a strange vibe. "Whoa. A Jumbie is here, but it can't be Sangharsh. he wouldn't cause this much trouble," she said. She heads outside and sees a gray shadow near the shrine of Radha and Krishna. "It is right over here," Sajin said. Sliver takes out her wand, and a massive wave of energy pushes her into a brush. "Ouch," she said. Devon sees a face in the shadow. "Kaante!" The shadow attacks Devon, but Sajon blocks it. "Kaushal Crusher!" The shadow tries to attack Mariam, but Daah strikes back. "Bal Stopper!" The shadow sees Daah and stops and changes direction to the party. "Inferno Spirit Splitter!" Hiroki shouts. His attacks dissolve the shadow. "Whoa!" Mariam shouts. "Since when can you do that?" "I still have to train like my sister," Hiroki said. Daah smiles but wonders why that shadow changes directions around her. Kaante smiles. "Her. She is the reason I have power. She will be my vessel!"
After cleaning up from Kaante's attack, the final dance can begin. On Planet Hearts, the final dance is a ceremonial dance that a group does to welcome spring to the planet. The teens dance and chant as the times for the powder bombs begin to count down. "That was close, but who is Kaante?" Sangharsh asks. "Right. That is why I'm here. To warn Ashton," Sangharsh said. Daah looks up and sees the moons shining brightly from the skyline roof. "I hope this spring brings new beginnings. "I will," Brock said. "I will." Daah nods, closes her eyes, links arms with everyone, and dances around. Then the powder bombs go off, and everyone chants, rejoices, and throws powder at each other. Sangharsh smiles and sees powder on his hands. "I guess this is my chance to do the right thing," he said.
The night of the Senior Party has arrived. Devon, Hiroki, and Mariam are having a sleepover at Devon's house. "We are sneaking into school and going inside the fountain," Devon said. The doorbell rings. "Hello, room for one more?" Silver asks. The trio gulps. They didn't answer Silver's question at the Holi party because of the jumbie attack. "Well?" She asks.
