Erza stood tall before the villagers. Her bangs covered her eyes.
"Erza, you're late for the party.
"Yeah, Erza, since you're here, you might as well enjoy it."
"Erza, you want some fish."
Natsu, Ultear, and Happy were as calm as can be.
Meanwhile, Gray was sweating profusely, and Lucy was shaking uncontrollably.
Knowing why they're scared, Natsu decided to bail them out. "Erza calm down, nothing bad happened, and the job went on without a hitch, so don't kill them."
Erza let out a sigh, relaxing somewhat based on her body language. "I'm not mad at you three, but those two shouldn't have come," she said sternly.
"I know, I know, but they did help out. I'll explain everything later. The party is just getting started, so enjoy yourself."
"Fine"
For the remainder of the night, the group enjoyed the festivities.
Erza was sitting down away from most people, silently watching everyone.
"Is something wrong, Erza?" Erza looks to see Ultear standing before her with two cups in hand," want something to drink," she hands one over to her.
"Thank you, and it's just," she hesitated to continue.
Noticing her hesitation, Ultear knew what she was implying. "Erza, you need to learn to stop bottling up your emotions. Don't be afraid to talk about your problems. We both know someone who drops everything to help out others" they both glance towards Natsu.
With a sigh, "Fine, I'm tired of constantly being portrayed as the bad guy, you know, uptight, mean, and a spoilsport."
"Oh, so that what's on your mind, well, you can change that by joining in on the party. Come on. I'm sure Natsu would love for you to join" Ultear pulled her by the hand.
Erza begrudgingly started dancing with Ultear and the others, and surprisingly, after a while, she enjoyed herself.
She was drinking dancing but made sure not to get carried away and make sure her guildmates were on their best behavior as far as parties are concerned.
Far away from everyone, Ultear walked up to Natsu, who's leaning against one of the shacks. "I see you manage to convince Erza to join in on the festivities."
"Yeah, hopefully, she'll loosen up a bit. After all, she still has a demon to confront."
"I know, but who should we bring along?"
"I would include Cobra as he has a connection to the tower as well."
"That is a good point. I think we should bring Erza so she can confront this demon of hers once and for all, but for now, I will leave it be. We have to use plausible reasoning why we know about the tower. Do you have any insight on that?"
"Hmm, That is a concern, but we may be able to play it off as an investigation requested by the council after a ship gets destroyed like before."
"True, I want the group to be small and nimble but large enough where we're not in over our heads."
"I could bring the tower down on top of everyone, but that's out of the question."
"Yeah"
"Don't forget Jellal, who I can only assume is being manipulated by that Veronica chick from the council."
"That is a problem, so do you have a plan to deal with that"?
"Hard to say at this point, but I can say this Siegrain will have to deal with the repercussions of building the tower."
"Natsu, your so clever sometimes it scares me," she said with a seductive gaze causing Natsu to grin.
"Let get back to the party," Ultear latched onto his arm as they made their way to everyone.
"With pleasure."
A few hours later
Erza has just heard the rundown of everything that happened the moment they set foot of Galuna.
"Well, I can see why Natsu wanted to bring you here, which I have to agree with."
"Huh?" Gray and Lucy said in unison with dumbfounded looks.
"We all have our own demons with only two ways to deal with them. You choose to run away, or you choose to stand and fight them. I'm glad you two chose to fight," mainly eyeing Gray.
"Is there anything else you like to say?" Natsu asked
"Yes, firstly, why have you not told the guild of you two being godsends yet, and two, how is Ultear's birth mother standing here with us."
"We didn't tell the guild because we were afraid of how rival guilds would react," Natsu said
"It could result in pandemonium rippling throughout the wizarding world."
Ultear decided to throw in her two cents as well "if we're not careful about this, countless wizards will risk their lives in a vain attempt to reach their level of power."
"Ok, I see your point, but you're telling the guild as to silence any questions they have about her," she pointed toward Ur.
"We were going to."
"Now that we're on the same page, mind explaining Ur, please."
"I asked Osiris if there was a way to help Ur in response to that. He gave me a soul lacrima that allowed me to transfer her essence from the iced shell spell."
"Why not reverse the spell Entirely? Then, she would have a physical body."
"He can, but doing so could inadvertently plant the seeds that death is temporary as well as give mortals false hopes, so he gave me the necklace as a compromise."
"I can't argue with that since it was a God who gave it to you."
"It's getting late. Let call it a night" he headed to the shack there, staying for the night.
Everyone shared his sentiment and followed suit as the party was coming to an end.
Natsu and Ultear, like any couple, didn't hesitate to snuggle up to each other.
Lucy laid down on the side of them while Gray and Erza layer down on the other.
Morning
Lucy was just waking when she caught a glimpse of the married couple.
They were spooning each other with Natsu's arm loosely wrapped around her.
Ultear slowly started falling over when Natsu instinctively pulled her firmly against him, causing a small smile.
Lucy couldn't help but blush slightly at this, her mind going all over the place, eventually leading to what they do together in their spare time.
Needless to say, you could see steam coming off her body from all the naughty thoughts running through her.
Within the next hour, everyone was wide awake. They gave their goodbyes. They met up with the pirate Erza, persuaded to give her a ride.
Lucy was more than happy to receive another gate key to add to her arsenal.
Unfortunately, she didn't get any of the reward money as she wasn't S-class. Therefore, she had no right to the reward.
The official reason she got the gate key was that Natsu did not need it. Of course, that's a lie on his part, but it does hold some truth.
Right now, Ultear is having some much-needed alone time with her mother except for Natsu for apparent reason.
She didn't hold back at all, telling her mother how and why she joined fairy tail and her deeds in the old timeline.
Ur was speechless after hearing her daughter's tale.
After her piece was said, Ultear couldn't look at her mother in the eyes.
Motherly instincts taking control, "hey, that all in the past now you shouldn't dwell on it after all you have Natsu," Ur said in a motherly tone.
Ultear was quick to face her mother with a small smile as she hugged her mother once more.
Ur was learning quickly to make her projection solid for more extended periods.
They just stayed there, enjoying each other's embrace.
"Thank you."
"Your welcome, honey."
With Gray
Gray was setting up against the walls on the deck of the ship.
He was pondering how his relationship with his master will continue from this point on.
It doesn't help that he has to figure a way to break the news to the guild of him being a godsend.
A smirk formed quickly as I imagined how Elfman would react to the news. However, it quickly faded at the possibility of more Godsends he and Natsu don't know about yet.
Those thoughts send a shiver down his spine as there is the possibility that the gift they received could make them stronger than both of them.
There is also the possibility the more fairy tail wizards could become godsends as well. The only question now is what God would give them their favor.
"All this thinking giving me a headache."
When they made it back to hargion, Ur was quick to disappear.
And much to Natsu's displeasure, they took a train back to Magnolia during that time Natsu was going over how to deal with Phantomlord.
"Hm, I might stay behind to keep Lucy from being kidnapped as that would give us an advantage," he thought to himself before a new wave of Nausea came in.
Magnolia
The group was casually walking back to the guild as pristine as they left it.
Natsu held a blank expression thinking over what to come a few days from now.
When they entered the guild, they met Makarov as always at the bar with Mira serving drinks.
"Gramps, we're back!"
"I take it the job went well."
"Yeah, it was pretty easy, if fact. I'm surprised it was an S-class one. But, then again, there not a lot of details on it, to begin with anyway."
"It was because there was so little information on jobs as mysterious as Galuna make S-class when, in reality, they would be high A-class jobs."
"Hmm" were Gray and Lucy's response.
With a sigh, "difficulting rating for wizard jobs aren't as cut and dry as you'd think, especially for the harder ones."
"How so?" Gray asked
"With very little information on a task at hand, the job is labeled high rating. It's a safety precaution to keep inexperienced wizards from getting in over their heads. is it starting to make sense now?"
"Yeah"
"Good, now mind going into detail of what happened on galuna island."
To say Makarov was surprised was an understatement when Ur revealed herself.
And he couldn't stop the blush that formed from the site of her well-developed body resulting in mother and daughter glare daggers at him.
"Moving on," Natsu said, adding his glare as well.
"Are you sure you two want to do this?" he said, eyeing Natsu and Gray.
"Yeah, our guildmate deserves to know, and it would help explain Ur being here now."
At this time, Gray had just finished stripping down to his underwear, only to find himself flat against a wall.
He had a look of fear in his eyes as a light blue ice spike was dangerously close to his head and a pink one uncomfortably close to his manhood.
Every look the mother and daughter with looks of rage on their faces.
Who would have thought time with her mother awaken another side Ultear was unaware of.
Both glanced at each other before blushing "like mother like daughter," Natsu said offhandedly, causing them the blush even harder.
"Oh, Natsu, one more thing, another request from the council isn't one of those jobs, so make it quick."
"There goes my plan to stop lucy from being kidnapped."
"Come on, Ultear, we got to hurry."
"We just got back from galuna," she wined.
Natsu brought Happy with him to a secluded part of the guild and whispered: "stay here, rescue Lucy from the phantom lord. I'll send Loki to help you when the time comes."
"Aye, Sir," he flies over the Makarov. "Natsu wants me to stay here as the job could be too dangerous for me."
"Very well, then."
Natsu and Ultear begrudgingly headed back to the train station.
On their way to the train station, Natsu noticed Ultear was happier, presumably now that she reunited with her mother.
With the others
"I'm not telling anyone about us till Natsu gets back," Gray said before heading off.
"Fine" was Makarov's response.
The next day
The entire guild stands before the remains of their guildhall as massive rock spikes take the place of the iron rods from the old timeline.
Guildhall basement
"Who could have done this" Lucy said
"Phantom Lord," Mira said, making her presence known.
With a skeptical look, Lucy had to ask, "What makes you say that"
"They left a flag with the emblem on it," Gejeel added.
"You think they did it because of us" Cobra through in
"I doubt it," Mira said
"Mind explaining, please?" Lucy said
"Phantom lord be trying to recruit Gajeel and Cobra for years, so I can't blame them for concluding that"
"The one time the guild is destroyed, that's not our fault Ultear is away on a mission," Makarov said with anime tears.
The next day
Up against the large tree in Magnolia park were the beaten forms of Wendy, Sting, and Rogue.
All the exceed bundles upon the ground below.
The sight filled Makarov with rage declaring they are going to war with Phantom Lord.
Like before the charged phantom lord, all having Makarov's losing all his power.
Loki rescued Lucy from Jose after the battle; he held her bridal style.
"Loki, how did you know I'd be here?"
"When my contract up with Natsu, I'm going to you, so he asked me to keep an eye on you," he said with his playboy smile.
"Well, thank you now. Let's get back to the guild."
Magnolia
Everyone was in a rush preparing for their second attack of Phantom Lord when suddenly the ground started Shaking.
They all ran outside to see phantom lord guildhall stomping towards Magnolia.
Suddenly part of the building lowers, revealing a giant barrel aimed toward the fairy tail guildhall.
Suddenly a massive blueish purple ball of magic energy started forming, striking fear in every member of the fairy tail.
"Natsu, where are you?" happy thought to himself.
"Run, get out of here now," Erza shouts as she requipped into her adamantine armor.
She stands tall, preparing for the inevitable Suddenly, the fairy tail members could feel an incredible heat.
Happy and Gray had proud smirks on their faces.
A deep, commanding voice rang throughout the battlefield with "FIRE DRAGON KING ROAR" a massive beam of fire was seen overhead.
The Jupiter cannon fire simultaneously, the two attacks collided, fighting for dominance for a brief moment.
Both sides of this fight could see looks of shock as flames began to burn away the Jupiter beam.
It followed the beam back through the cannon melting the way before destroying focusing lacrima.
What fairy tail wasn't expecting was Natsu falling to the ground, landing with a thud.
"Damn, I didn't think fire dragon king mode would be this draining just goes to show I have a long way to go."
"Natsu, are you ok?" Ultear said, landing beside him.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just used up most of my magic energy."
"ERZA, MACAO, and anyone else who can create fire can recharge Natsu!"
"Do you even need to ask!" with a smirk as she requipped into her flame empress armor.
Finally, "open up, Natsu. I'll give you as much as I can spare" with her sword in hand, she created a massive fireball,
other wizards through in their fire to refuel their guildmate.
All the fire funneled its way into Natsu's mouth bring their beloved dragon slayer back to his feet "thanks. Guys really needed that"
"Back to full strength?"
"No, but I have enough to finish this fight. Happy with me, come on everyone, let's take the fight to them" he charged forward with Gray, Elfman, Erza behind him.
"Ultear, are you going with them?" Cana asked.
"I'd only get in his way. Besides, I'm pretty sure Jose still holds a grudge again Natsu after dethroning him. You guy could use my help with those," she pointed to a mass dark figure heading towards them.
With Natsu and the other
"Crap!" Natsu collapsed to the ground as the building started moving.
Not far away was a slightly chard unconscious Totomaru. After the shaking stopped, Natsu was back to his feet.
"Totomaru out of commission that leaves 3 of the elemental 4 still standing. You three go after the remaining 3. I'll handle Jose."
"You can't be serious, Natsu. You just used up a massive amount of magic energy. What makes you think you can take him on in your condition!" Erza yelled
"I hate to say, but I agree with Erza," Gray added.
"Same here."
"Don't worry, guy, I have an ace up my sleeve?" he said with a reassuring grin.
"About time you used my power. Oh, I can't wait to see the fear in his eyes," Natsu chuckled at this.
The group split up going their separate ways.
Natsu headed straight toward Jose using his nose like the old timeline. Gray and Elfman met and fought their respective enemies.
Gray's fight was straightforward as nothing changed much, but Elfman was different.
Instead, if Mira bing in the giant grip, it was lisanna, this time driving him over the edge once more and gaining control of himself.
But Erza tail had difficulty with Aria as he kept teleporting at the last second.
This went on for so long she getting madder and madder by the second.
With each passing second, she was getting more and more worn out. Aria was slowly draining her dry on magic energy.
During this time, her thoughts were on Natsu. "Why… why can't I catch up to him," her thoughts lingered on Natsu for as long as she has known him "this guy would be child play for him, but for me, it's a slow death REQUIP HEAVEN WHEEL ARMOR," she floated in the air with her swords at the ready.
"Your gonna have to do better than that, Titania," he says sinisterly as he dodges sword after sword with relative ease.
She fell to the ground, worn out, waiting for Aria to make the finishing blow "look like this is as far I can make it. I'm sorry, Sho, Milliana, wally, and Simon."
"You can do better than that," a new voice said, echoing around the room.
Aria stopped looking around for the source of this new voice.
Erza was suddenly engulfed in an orb of light blinder, both her and Aria.
When the light finally faded, Erza found herself not in Phantom Lord guild hall but a throne room of sorts.
"Where am I?"
"You are in the home of the 18 war gods."
Erza faces the voice-only to see a towering figure sitting on a throne.
After a closer look, the being in front of her was humanoid in shape. It has a long neck and head similar to what she can only assume a dragon looks like, with wings, and the creature was wearing golden armor.
The binging easily as tall as the cathedral in his sitting position. "who are you?"
"I am Prometheus leader and strongest of the 18 war gods, and you have proven yourself worthy of being my Godsend" he put his hand out.
Light itself covers Erza body before Solidifying into a golden set armor with elements of her Heart Kreuz armor and heaven wheel armor.
The top half was like any other chest armor, but the crystal was in the center of her chest. She had your standard shoulder guard and gauntlets.
For the bottom, she still wore a skirt. After all, she is a lady, but now she had grieves again golden in color along with boots with little wings on their sides.
She had a shield in her left hand and lance in her right hand, and she wore a golden version of her heaven wheel headband.
And finally had golden wings from what looked to be made from bird feathers.
"Is this a new armor?"
"Yes, is what you call war god armor with it. You will wield the power of a war god."
"But why me?"
"Ever since Osiris choose Natsu, many of us gods felt you mortal are worthy of our power once more. So you won't be a god slayer, but you can fight like one."
"God slayer?"
"Yes, a god slayer, I won't bore you with the detail. Instead, ask the one you call Natsu to inform you about it."
"What power will this armor give me?"
"With this armor, you will wield the sacred light of the fairies. Erza will wield this power for justice shine light were shadows are born."
"YES!"
"Will you fight those who wish to harm your world."
"YES!"
"WILL YOU BE MY BE THE SHINING JUSTICE THIS WORLD DESERVES!"
"I WILL!"
"WITH THIS MARK, YOU ARE NOW MY GODSEND!"
Erza felt a burning sensation in her right shoulder. She moves the shoulder guard out of the way to see twin swords in an X shape.
"I hope I am worthy of your power Prometheus."
"You can prove it by defeating your opponent Aria" with a snap of his finger. A blinding light enveloped Erza.
When the light faded, Aria was met with Erza scarlet in golden armor and a new level of power that scared him.
"Round two," she said in a commanding tone.
Unknown to her, both Natsu and Gray just got a mental message saying a new godsend has been found.
Erza charged at Aria so high he barely dodges the attack at the cost she slashed his left arm.
"Where did you get this power from."
"A friend."
Her lance glowed brightly for a sec before morphing into a sword, "hmm, fascinating."
Talking his bandages off, "Even with that new power, you no match for my Air space magic Mestu" he begins to drain Erza of her magic power.
"No, I won't let you continue" she put her sword straight up, pumping her magic energy into the blade.
Suddenly it erupted a flash of light before sucking in the air space magic into its self.
"What, how is this possible?"
Jumping a fair way away, "Let's see how you like it," with a slash of her sword. She releases all the air magic she gathered in a concentrated wave of wind magic hurtling straight towards him.
Aria tried to escape, but the spell was too quick for him. As soon as it made contact, A tornado wind magic enveloped him.
He screams in pain as the wind starting cutting from head to toe.
By the time the spell had finished, his clothes were cut to ribbons and were bleeding everywhere. Fortunately, for Erza sake, they weren't life-threatening.
"Interesting, so my sword absorbers enemy magic and turns it against them doubt it will do much against our guilds slayers."
