They stayed in that position enjoying their embrace for who knows how long before Ultear released her hold on him.
After getting their clothes back on, there was an air of silence between them.
"Sorry," he said, remembering he basically forced himself on her.
Seeing guilt in his eyes, she slaps him playfully.
"Don't be, it was the best night of my life Natsu!" she said, getting a grin from him.
Natsu takes her by the hand to a nearby window, and he sends a small fireball into the sky. Minutes later, Happy Lucian and Ur met up in the ritual room.
"I'm a little surprised you signaled us so soon," Lucian says, only to get nailed in the shin by Ultear's lacrima again.
He barely had time to recover as he dodged an Ice spike from Ur. And to make things worse, the air temperature started to drop.
While the girls were scaring Lucian, Natsu looked at the ritual and went over the notes used to make it nearby.
"If I'm reading this right, we might be able to give Ur a real body," He said offhandedly.
This got everyone's attention.
"But wouldn't that be against the laws of life and death, Natsu?" Ultear asked.
He requip a small vial of water, getting a smile from the others minus Lucian, who's in the dark.
Seeing the confusion in Lucian's eyes, Natsu knew he needed to bring Lucian up to speed.
"Lucian before Ur is as she is now she was once ice to stop a powerful demon. When the ice finally melted, I grabbed some, figuring I might be useful later!"
"Ok"
"With this stuff as a base, we can rebuild her body and transfer her soul back into it!"
"But what about the god, who cursed your brother Natsu?" Happy asked.
"Hehe, Ur was never technically dead, to begin with! So there is nothing he can do!"
"How so?" He asked again.
"Her soul is still in this world and her body as well. So it's not too far off from thought projection!"
"What does it require?" Ur asked impatiently
"Give me a minute." Then, with the help of Ultear, they look through the notes.
"Damnit!" The two said in unison, getting the attention of the remaining three.
"What is it?" Lucian said.
"I can't believe I missed it. It was staring right at us!"
"What?" Happy asked.
"The last part needed for the spell is a living being!" He said, Silencing the others.
"Damn, I was hoping I could get my body back!"
"Sorry, mother, it looks like you'll have to stay in the soul lacrima from now on."
"It's ok, honey, you tried, and that's all that matters," she said with a hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe I can help!" All five look to the new voice to see a weak Decrepit demon slowly inched his way to them.
"You again" all eyes land on Ultear.
"Yes, I'm not dead yet. Nice to see you again, E.N.D, or do you prefer Natsu?" The whites of Natsu's eyes suddenly turn pitch black with red Irises.
"Been a long time Odysseus!" His demon side said with a smirk.
Odysseus raises his head, revealing he is blind in one eye.
"Too long I see your vessel's wife and her mother are in a predicament?"
"You can say that again."
"How's your brother, or should I say, creator?"
"Moping around waiting for death as you'd expect."
"I see, and the Etherious demons?"
"Causing havoc as usual, too bad all their efforts will be in vain."
It was then the others realized what Odysseus was getting at.
"You can't be serious. I'm not getting my body back at the price of your life!"
He looks to Ultear. "I've lived long enough. I want to atone for my sins, including giving Zeref the secret of demons he'd later use to create the Etherious!"
"No, we won't let you!" Natsu said he was retaking control of his body. "Warn me next time you do that!" He said, tapping his head before facing Oberth.
"This is ultimately your brother's mess. Would you risk leaving it for someone else to continue!" Natsu froze, knowing what could happen if someone else found these notes.
Taking a deep inhale, then exhale, "are you sure you want this?" He said, causing the other eyes to go wide.
"Natsu, are you serious?" Ultear asked.
"Yes! If we cast it, we'll know how to stop it when someone eventually figures out how to do it." He reasoned about getting a reluctant nod from the others.
"I won't let your sacrifice be in vain, Oberth!" Ur said with gratitude.
After five minutes, everything was ready to go, with Oberth in the center holding the water Natsu requipped.
Natsu and Ultear placed their hand in the circle chanting incoherent words only for all the markings to glow.
Moments later, the entire ground encompassed by the circle started to glow.
The vile of water floated in the air before the glass holding it shattered.
Then golden tendrils shot up. They touched Oberth's body, and he started to dematerialize into countless small particles.
The last thing any of them sees is a smile on his face before being wholly dematerialized.
Then Ultear handed her choker to one of the tendrils. A simple tap was enough to shatter it, releasing Ur's essence.
The essence looks to be a light blue wispy substance.
The three components are mixed into a uniform substance.
Then it starts swirling around like a tornado going faster and faster before reforming into a humanoid body.
After several minutes the tornado died down only to reveal Ur in the flesh. But, unfortunately, she was naked.
Ultear quickly grabbed a robe, tossing it to her mother to cover herself. But, unfortunately, he didn't stand up long, collapsing to her knees.
"I haven't had a real body in a long time" this gets a giggle from Ultear.
"Time to head back to the village," Natsu declared.
"Hold up!" They all look to Lucian to see him had a level glare at Natsu.
"Shouldn't be surprised by this," he said with a sigh.
After a Lengthy discussion, Lucian is brought up to speed on Natsu's origin as Zeref's younger brother.
Then dying, coming back as a demon, learning dragon slayer magic. And finally, coming to the future with the other dragon slayers.
"Ok then" is Lucian's response, flooring everyone at how casual it is.
"Come, we have to get back to the village to let everyone know what is going on!"
"I can cut down that time." So naturally, this gets everyone's attention.
Later, a small chant and a large oval-shaped black spot form on the wall.
"Follow me" they reluctantly comply with his request.
One moment they are deep in the devil's lands. The next they're back at the demon village they passed by.
"Woah, what just happened, Lucian?" Natsu asks.
"It's a type of teleportation I got from my godsend mark. I can open a rift to places I've already been to cut down on time."
"Good to know!" He said with a grin.
Natsu met up with Slaldir letting him know what happened after he left.
He was saddened to lose his long-time friend but happy at the same time, knowing the purpose of his sacrifice.
The group stayed in the village for two days recharging their batteries.
Especially when it came to Ur getting used to being a flesh and blood human being again.
They gave her a basic set of clothes before Lucian took them back to the cost.
There she got proper clothes. Fortunately, she could recreate her old outfit before casting the ice shell.
This includes dark blue jeans and tennis shoes. Black muscle shirt with a tan unzipped leather jacket.
They stop by the chamber of commerce to let them know the job is done.
He is overjoyed knowing they can safely send in people to gather resources.
"Stay here for a minute so I can get you your reward!" He said before heading to the other room.
When he finally returned, he had a suitcase hanging from his right hand.
"Ten million jewel as promised!" Natsu takes a suitcase, feeling the weight of it.
"Thank you!" He gave him a handshake before departing for the hotel.
After dropping the suitcases off at their hotel room, Natsu buys the boat tickets to return to Fiore.
After getting their tickets, he's reminded once again of Lucian.
He lives on his own in the devil lands and adds that he's a godsend like him.
With Gray and Erza gone. There are no other godsends he's met.
He changes his course to Lucian's house, hoping to get another family member.
He stands at the front door of his home. Just as he is about to knock, the door opens, revealing Lucian.
"Natsu, what are you doing here?"
"Since we got back to the port, I've been thinking. Do you want to join fairy tail?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Simple, we're a godsend. So I figured it would be a good idea if we all stick together."
"Hmm, sure, it was fun hanging out with you and the others, and if I join your guild, I know it won't end!"
"Sweet, looks like I better go buy another ticket to Fiore."
"Better get my stuff packed then."
"Ok then. The boat leaves tomorrow. Unfortunately, it will take us a week to get to Fiore.
"shit. I have never been to Fiore. So my shadow door is useless to us."
"Tell me about it. We'll better make sure the others are ready to go. I'll see you tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow."
When Natsu reached the hotel for the night, he checked the date. It's February 3rd. If all goes well, they will be back by the 10th.
That would mean they have been gone for three weeks, meaning he'll switch out with Gildarts when it comes to the big-ticket quest.
The following day there is a crowd when the group reaches the docks.
The next thing they knew, they were swarmed only for Natsu, Happy, and the mother-daughter pair to get spat out. The residents are giving their goodbyes to Lucian.
He gave them all a farewell with a few hugs and handshakes before finally getting on board the ship. They quickly find their room for the journey home.
"Now a week-long journey to Fiore!" Natsu said aloud before falling over, putting his head in his mate's lap, going fast asleep.
Ultear giggles at this, putting her hand through his spiky hair with a small smile.
Happy took his spot in Ultear shoulder. Lucian stared at the Quartet with a questioning look.
"Is this normal for you four?"
"Yes, it is Lucian, he has a magic item to stop it, but sometimes it's not enough."
"He has motion sickness?" He said
"Yes, all dragon slayers do. It has something to do with their senses on a par with a dragon in a human body," Ultear informed. Then they felt the motion of the ship.
One week later
The five wizards now stand at the front door of the fairy tail guildhall.
Ultear pulled her mother and Lucian back a few paces from Natsu. Happy found his place in her shoulder.
Natsu kicked the front door wide open with a single kick, stepping forward.
"WE MADE IT BACK ALIVE!" He shouts, getting everyone's attention.
The remaining four of his group catch up to him as he heads toward the bar to see Kinana operating the bar.
"So, how was your mission Natsu?"
"It was unforgettable, also where is the stamp?"
"I have it right here. What do you ask?" She pulled the stamp out from under the table.
He takes from her turning around to see both Lucian and Ur standing beside him.
"Where do you want it and what color!"
"Front side of my right shoulder dark blue, please," Ur says, taking off her jacket showing her shoulder. He then looks to Lucian.
"Right shoulder dark red, Please." He stamps their shoulders before handing it back to Kinana.
"We have two new members, everyone!" And like that, the whole guild goes into party mode.
Lucian is quickly dragged away by a few members wanting to know more about the man.
Natsu said at the bar with Ultear by his side. Ultear on his right and Ur on his left. Macao and Wakaba walk up to the slayer.
"How on earth is Ur standing, well sitting here, Natsu?" Macao asks, seeing Ur take a sip from a glass of juice.
The three trade glances before filling the two in, leaving specific details.
"That's incredible!" Macao said.
"You're telling me," Natsu adds.
It's then he saw a borderline perverted look from the two and a few others of the older members aimed at Ur.
Ur's eye twitched as the air temperature started to drop. This snapped them all out of it.
The doors open to see a tall, dark figure. Once the light dies down, it's revealed to be Gildarts.
Of course, being the womanizer, he is. His eye lands on Ur and takes note she's now flesh and blood.
But he quickly keeps that side in check, not wanting to incur the combined wrath of mother and daughter.
"So, how did the job go to Natsu?"
"Differently won't forget it, that's for sure, and we got Ur her body back and a new member of the guild. So, Yo Lucian, where are you!"
"Over here," he says, stepping forward. They are quick to notice a few bruises on his cheek.
"What happened to you, Lucian?"
"Bastard doesn't know when to keep his trap shut" this time, it is Laki walking up behind him with a few bruises of her own.
"Only way I'll stay quiet is with a ball gag, hehe ouch!" He said as he got smacked in the face by a wooden rod being held by Laki.
"I warned you, Lucian!"
"Mind telling us the details about the job Natsu?" Gildarts asked.
"Sure thing," he repeated his story loud enough for everyone to hear, leaving out specific details.
"So, what was the reward?" Max added.
"Ten million jewel," Natsu says casually, requiping the suitcase. Everyone floored themselves from the combination of his words and the sight of the bag filled with money.
"Now it's your turn to take a job. But, first, make sure it won't take too long."
"Sure thing. However, Ur wants to join me on my next job, he said with a smirk.
"Why should I!" She said, glaring daggers at him.
"I doubt you have the stamina to do jobs on your own for now. So who better to have your back than the fairy tail's strongest wizard!"
Ur couldn't respond, knowing Gildarts is right about her radically reduced stamina.
She looked to her daughter for her opinion on the matter. Instead, she got a blank expression. Then, she shifted her gaze to Natsu, glaring at Gildarts.
"Fine, best case scenario if you try anything, that missing arm will be the least of your worries!"
Gildarts took a nervous gulp processing her threat before solidifying his resolve.
"Great, we leave in two days!"
"Fine," she says, turning around toward the bar placing an order for food.
"Shit, where will Ur and Lucian live in Magnolia?" Natsu says aloud enough for Lucian to walk up to the three of them.
"Mother can live in fairy hills, and I suppose Lucian can stay with us for the time being."
"Ur, Lucian! have any objections?"
"I don't see a problem," she said
"Same for me," he added.
"Then it's settled."
Two days later, Gildart found not one but three jobs. They pay well and are easy enough for Ur to get into shape.
He walks into the guildhall to see Ur leaning against the bar with his daughter and Natsu beside her.
"Ur I got three jobs picked out for us," he says, pushing the other two asides.
"What are the details?"
He hands her the flyers. The first one is a high A-rank quest. The job request asks the wizard to help thin the local monsters Terrorizing a village close to their home.
The second job is a specialty job for Gildart. It's asking him to help clear part of a mountain for a new road to reduce travel time.
The third one is tracking down and dealing with syndicates controlling several villages on the far side of Fiore.
The last one Intrigued Ur the most. "What's so special about the third job?"
"Apparently, this group has a habit of kidnapping innocent people. And that is not the worst of it. The female captive as sold in a certain kind of slavery," he said with venom.
"Well, what are we waiting for!" She headed toward the train station with Gildart not far behind her.
"By mother"
"You two, honey," she says, waving her daughter goodbye.
Ten days later
It's been two weeks since they returned from the devil lands. Ultear, for some reason, has been distant from Natsu the past week, and it concerns him greatly.
She is always with Bisca and Kinana whenever they're at the guild. Not to mention, Bisca and Ultear didn't want to do any jobs.
He wasn't alone. Cobra and Alzack were feeling his pain.
Then the unexpected happened, the three called their men over, sitting beside them at a table in the center of the whole guild.
Three shared a nervous look in their eyes, knowing how unpredictable the female mind can be.
Especially since the three females sent them massive smiles.
Ultear takes the lead putting Natsu's arm around her waist but keeping her hand on his before placing it on her lower belly.
It took a few moments before Natsu's eyes widened in surprise. He looks to Cobra and Alzack, their women mirroring Ultear.
Their eyes widen to the point of rivaling Natsu. Second later, after the realization finally made it through his thick pink-haired skull.
With both arms wrapped around her waist, he lifted her, twirling her around giving a massive kiss.
"I'M GOING TO BE A DADDY!" he shouts to the heaven above before putting her down carefully.
His smile never leaves his face, and if his reaction is anything to go off of, it will stay that way for some time.
A look to his peers, Alzack fell out of his seat, frozen like a block of ice. Cobra reacted the same but managed to stay in his chair.
"Natsu and I are in the clear, but last I checked, ladies, neither of you has a ring on this finger" Ultear points out her wedding ring.
A glint formed in Kinana and Bisca's eyes before staring at their men.
Typically a woman would be married first before sex unless they're the mate of a dragonslayer.
For two of the three, that isn't a problem. It's a different story for anyone else.
When Alzack finally came to, he felt many eyes on him. But, first, he looked to Bisca, who leaned her head toward Ultear to see her wedding ring.
He quickly nods his head before passing out, getting a giggle from Bisca.
As for Cobra, he's still frozen in place, with Kinana trying her best to bring him back to reality.
Their respective girls giggle at their reactions to being a dad soon.
A few hours later, cobra and Alzack finally thawed out from their frozen states, getting their wits together.
That is when a smile took over Alzack's face before remembering what Bisca was asking of him.
He gets on his feet, running out the guildhall doors. Also, remembering what Ultear said, he follows Alzack's lead.

this chapter is a little bit shorter than I normally go for, but it's a wrap-up chapter for the first arc of the seven-year gap
the part you don't want to hear. I plan on this fic going into rest mode, so work on other fics
since I crank out several chapters in the span of a couple of months. Well, you get the point.
