Chapter 17
First Date
The day after the Sports Festival. Freya sat on her laptop in the living room. Aizawa had gone to school to get stuff organized for the internship. Freya had the news on, and it was announcing the winners of the Sports Festival. Freya nearly spit out her drink when she saw Bakugo with a pissed off look with the medal in his mouth.
'Well, they least got a good picture.' Freya thought. Freya heard her phone go off and grabbed it.
"Hey, Katsuki. You calmed down?" Freya said.
"Shut up, Brat. I'm still pissed off how I won." Bakugo growled.
"If you called to complain, I'll hang up now." Freya said.
"Wait!" Bakugo said, knowing she would. "I was calling to see if you want to get out of the house and go on a date." Freya smiled.
"I would like that. Where we going?" Freya asked.
"You'll find out. Give me an hour and I'll come get you." Bakugo said. Freya hung up. Bakugo smiled.
"My little boy has a date! Is it Freya?" Mitsuki asked poking her head in the door.
"Shut it you old hag." Bakugo said, turning on his mom with red checks. Mitsuki's grin went wide.
"It is! Finally!" Mitsuki said and disappeared. Bakugo grumbled and went to get ready.
An hour later. Bakugo knocked on Freya's door. Freya opened the door. Her long black hair was pulled up into a ponytail and wore a tank top and shorts. Freya closed the door. She raised an eyebrow at the basket Bakugo was carrying.
"I figured a picnic at a beach." Bakugo said. Freya smiled at him. Mitsuki taught both Bakugo and Freya to cook. Bakugo held out his hand and she took it. Bakugo led the way as they head to the place Bakugo wanted to take her. Freya didn't mind the quietness. It was normal with him.
They reached the beach not far from their home. It used to be covered in garbage, but it was now all cleared up and no one knew how.
"You're trying to impress me after you embarrassed our class on live TV?" Freya asked with a smirk.
"Shut up. I don't need to be reminded of that terrible moment." Bakugo said. Freya shook her head as they stepped onto the sand. Freya took off her sandals and helped Bakugo set out a blanket and then the food.
Freya and Bakugo sat talking about training and stuff. They avoided the conversation of the Sports Festival.
"Your father proud that you got third place?" Bakugo said as she bit into the sandwich.
"He is. Though I think he was hoping I get 1rst." Freya said. Bakugo looked down and didn't say anything. "Think Todoroki still doesn't want to use his left side yet. Maybe someday he will. You got what you wanted. You won."
"Not the way I wanted." Bakugo grumbled.
"And acting like an Angry Pomeranian didn't help." Freya said. Bakugo growled.
"Will you stop calling me that!" Bakugo said.
"Or what?" Freya asked with a smirk. Bakugo looked into her purple eyes.
"Call me that again and you'll find out." Bakugo said with a cocky grin on his face. Freya bent forward and smirked at him.
"Angry Pomeranian." Freya said. Bakugo stood up and grabbed Freya's arm, pulling her to her feet. "What..." She squealed as Bakugo tossed her over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Katsuki Bakugo. Put me down!"
"I don't think so." Freya could hear the smirk in his voice as he headed towards the ocean.
"Katsuki. What the hell are you doing?" Freya asked as he stepped into the ocean. Bakugo smirked as he tossed her into the water. Freya came up, dripping wet. The tank top clung to her curves after it got soaked. Freya was happy she didn't wear the white shirt she wanted to wear. Bakugo grin disappeared as Freya ran at him. Bakugo tried to run but got tackled into the water. Bakugo grunted as his back hit the water. Luckily it was in the shallow end as Freya laid on top of him. Bakugo pushed her long hair out of her face.
"I might have not won the Sports Festival the way I wanted, but I got the best prize by having a date with you." Bakugo said. Freya smiled. Freya pressed her lips against his and they kissed.
They arrived back at Freya's house around nightfall. Bakugo had an arm wrapped around Freya's shoulder as they walked. Bakugo had a satisfied look on his face. He couldn't be happier. Freya and him were in one of the top hero schools in Japan and he finally asked her out and she didn't reject him. Freya kept an arm wrapped around him.
"Want to come over tomorrow and do a movie. My parents now know, and the old hag wants you over for supper." Bakugo asked.
"I would like that." Freya said. Bakugo smirked as he pulled her close to his side. They arrived at her father's house. Freya turned towards Bakugo. "I had fun today. Thank you."
"You're welcome." Bakugo said. Freya threw her arms around Bakugo's neck and stood on her tiptoes to kiss him. Bakugo pulled her tight against his chest and kissed her back.
The door opened and the couple quickly pulled apart. Aizawa stood in the door, not looking amused. Freya and Bakugo's checks turn red.
"So. You two are dating now. When did this happen?" Aizawa said. It didn't surprise him. He suspected the two had feelings for each other.
"Sports Festival." Bakugo and Freya said, pulling apart.
"About time. But you hurt her, Bakugo, you won't be dealing with the cops. You'll be dealing with me." Aizawa said, glaring at Bakugo, who gulped.
"Yes, sir." Bakugo said. Aizawa disappeared into the house. "He took that better than I expected."
"Yeah. I'll see you tomorrow. Message me when you want me to come over." Freya said. Bakugo pulled her into a hug and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"I will. Good night." Bakugo said. Freya watched him leave with a smile on her face. She stepped into the house and closed the door behind her.
AN: Thought it be perfect for the 2 day break. Trying to keep Bakugo his angry self with a different side to only Freya. Hope your enjoying the story. Till next time.
