Chapter 21

Final Exams

The bell chimed as the class was finishing for the day.

"All right. That's it for class today. There's only one week left before your final exams begin. I'm sure you're all studying constantly, right? Don't forget to keep training. The written exam is only one element. There's also the practical portion to worry about." Aizawa said as he headed for the door. He looked back. "Good luck." He closes the door.

"I've barely even taken notes this semester." Kaminari, who rated 21 in the midterm, and Mina who rated 20 in the midterm. Kaminari grabbed his head.

"And with the sports festival and internship, I didn't have time to read the textbook." Kaminari said.

"it's true that we haven't had very much free time lately." Tokoyami said, who rated 15th in the midterm.

"We barely learned anything when we took our midterms, so they didn't seem all that hard, but I'm kinda worried about these." Seto, who rated 13 in the midterms said. Koda, who rated 11th in the midterms, nodded in agreement. "We've been through a lot and they probably won't pull any punches when it comes to testing us.

"As someone ranked in the top ten, I'm not that concerned." Mineta, who ranked 10th in the midterms said, as he leaned his head against his hand with a smirk on his face.

"What?! You were 10th in the midterms?!" Kaminari and Mina said.

"Aw, man, and here I thought you were one of us!" Mina growled.

"Don't you know weirdo little creeps like you are only likable if they're kind of stupid?! Who's going to love you now?!" Kaminari said.

"Everyone. Trust me." Mineta said with a knowing smirk on his face.

"Ashido, Kaminari! We've still got time to study!" Mina and Kaminari looked at Izuku who ranked 5th in the midterm. "That way, we'll all get to go to the training camp together. Right?"

"Yep. As Class Rep, I have high hopes that we'll make UA proud." Iida, who ranked 2nd in the midterms, said.

"It's pretty hard to fail if you just pay attention in class, isn't it?" Todoroki, who ranked 5th in the midterm asked.

"Why you gotta cut me down like that?" Kaminari said.

"He's right. If you pay attention, you wouldn't rank so low." Freya, who ranked 3rd in the midterm said with a smirk as she sat on top of Bakugo's desk.

"How did you make the top 5? You hardly pay attention in class." Mina said.

"Doesn't mean I don't pay attention." Freya said.

"Hey, don't worry about it, you two, I can catch you up to speed on the important topics, if you want." Yaoyorozu, who placed 1rst in the Midterm said.

"You're the best, Yao-Momo." Kaminari and Mina said. Yaoyorozu looked down.

"I'm afraid I won't be any help when it comes to the practical, though. A bunch of the students came up to Yaoyorozu to ask for help with studying and Yaoyorozu seemed happy to have a study session. Kirishima was standing next to Bakugo's next as him and Freya were talking.

"Sounds like I should be studying with her." Kirishima, who ranked 16th in the midterm, said. Bakugo turned on Kirishima.

"You don't think I know anything. Maybe I should beat the lessons into your skull." Bakugo, who ranked 4th in the midterms said. Freya sighed.

"I'm counting on it." Kirishima said.

"Guess we'll both help you study." Freya said. As the day went, things went smoothly. They found out from Izuku that they be facing the Robots in the practical. He had found out from Kendo during lunch.

"Alright!" Mina and Kaminari said. Freya was sitting at her desk.

"This will be super easy if it's just robots!" Kaminari said.

"Such awesome news!" Mina said.

"Why do you sound so happy? You both have a hard time controlling your Quirks." Shoji said.

"Yeah! But I can let loose with robots!" Kaminari said.

"And melting them will be a cinch for me!" Mina said.

"Idiots." Bakugo growled.

"Now you just need Yaoyorozu to help you study and you'll be all set for finals." Sero said.

"We'll definitely be able to go to the training camp now!" Mina and Kaminari said. Bakugo stood up.

"It shouldn't matter if it's robots or actual people. Why are you morons so excited?" Bakugo said. Freya stood up and grabbed her stuff as Bakugo walked towards the door.

"Hey. Who are you calling a moron?" Kaminari asked, pointing at Bakugo.

"Shut up! You need to learn how to control your Quirk! Ya got it?!" Bakugo yelled. He turned and glared at them. He looked at Izuku. "Hey! Deku!" Izuku gasped. "I don't know what's going on with your power, but I saw the way you're using it now, and I want you to know, it's seriously pissing me off." Freya stood watching Bakugo. "I won't have another half-assed win like the festival. We'll be getting individual scores in the upcoming finals. New rankings." Bakugo points at Izuku. "So we'll all know exactly where we're standing! I'll show you how much better I am." Bakugo looked at Todoroki. "And Todoroki? I'll kill you, too." Todoroki nodded. "Let's go Freya." Freya came up to him and both left the classroom together. Bakugo slammed the door behind him as he wrapped an arm around Freya's shoulder as they head out, not noticing her father was in the hall and had heard everything.

"You really have to go off on them?" Freya asked, looking up at her boyfriend.

"I just want to pass the exams so we can go to the training camp. I wasn't lying when I said the extras need to learn to control their quirks." Bakugo grumbled.

"I'm sure they will eventually." Freya said as she wrapped an arm around Bakugo as they walked.

"Tch." Bakugo growled as he pulled her close to his side.

The week went and Freya felt like her brain was going to melt with all the studying. She joined Kirishima and Bakugo at a cafe where she had to save them from being kicked out as Bakugo lost his temper more then once with Kirishima as he hit Kirishima in the head with a paper.

The written exam took three days to do, but Freya had confidence she passed easily. All the answers weren't to hard.

"Alright, put your pencils down. The last person in each row, bring the answer sheets to me." Aizawa said. Freya handed her papers to Todoroki. Mina and Kaminari almost run to Yaoyorozu.

"Thanks so much for all your help!" Mina said.

"I didn't leave anything blank at least!" Kaminari said. Freya smiled.

"How you think you did, Brat?" Bakugo asked.

"I think I did fine. Now my brain can stop going into overdrive." Freya said. Bakugo smirked. The two had taken a break when Freya had almost broke down in tears from the stress of studying and cuddled on the couch to watch a movie the day before the written.

It was now time for the Practical. They all stood in the Central Plaza in their Hero Costumes. Freya stood with Kirishima and Bakugo. All the teachers stood in front of them.

"Now then. Let's begin the last test. Remember, it's possible to fail this final. If you wanna go to camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes." Aizawa said.

"Uh. Why are all the teachers here?" Jiro asked.

"I expect many of you have gathered information and believe you have some idea of what you'll be facing today." Aizawa said.

"We're fighting those big old metal robots!" Kaminari said.

"Fireworks! S'mores! Here we come, camp!" Mina said.

"Actually, this year's tests..." Freya saw movement in her dad's capture scarf as she heard the principles voice. Nezu popped out of the Scarf. Freya chuckled. "Will be completely different for various reasons.

"Principal Nezu!" Sero, Ojiro, and Jiro said. Mina and Kaminari froze.

"You're changing things?" Freya asked. Nezu climbed down Aizawa with the help of the scarf.

"The tests now have a new focus. They will be Hero work, of course. But also teamwork and combat between actual people. So what does that mean for you?" Nezu said. He points at the students. "You students will be working together in pairs and your opponents will be one of our esteemed UA Teachers. Isn't that fablulas?" Everyone gasped. Freya and Kirishima share looks.

'This will be interesting.' Freya thought.

"We're fighting the teachers?" Uraraka asked.

"Additionally, your partners and your opponents have already been chosen. They were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships. First, Yaoyorozu and Todoroki are a team." Aizawa said. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu gasp. Aizawa smirked. "Against me. Then we have Midoriya paired with Bakugo." Bakugo and Izuku gasped as they look at each other.

'Oh I want to see this fight.' Freya thought. "And their opponent is..." Aizawa started. A shadow falls over them as All Might lands on the ground in front of the students.

"I am here to fight!" All Might said. Bakugo and Izuku stare at All Might in horror.

"We're up against All Might?!" Izuku and Bakugo said.

"You're going to have to work together, boys, if you want to win." All Might said. Bakugo glared at Izuku.

"You think they will?" Kirishima whispered. Freya shook her head.

"I don't think so or it's not going to end well." Freya whispered as All Might smirked at the two boys.

"And now, let's announce the teams and the teachers they'll be fighting in order!" Nezu said. Kirishima and Seto vs. Cementoss was the first match. Tsu and Tokoyami vs. Ectoplasm was the Second match. Iida ad Ojiro vs. Powerloader was the third match. Todoroki and Yaoyorozu vs. Aizawa was the fourth match. Uraraka and Aoyama vs. Thirteen was the Fifth match. Mina and Kaminari vs. Nezu was the sixth match. Freya, Jiro, and Koda vs. Present Mic was the 7th match. Shoji and Hagakure vs. Snipe was the 8th match. Sero and Mineta vs. Midnight with the 9th match. And last was Bakugo and Izuku vs. All Might in the 10th match. "To complete the exam, you'll have thirty minutes. Nezu explained the situation and that the teachers will have bracers on so they didn't have a advantage on the student and the students have the choice to handcuff the teacher or run for the exit.

'Sounds fair enough. I hope everyone passes.' Freya thought. The Practical exam was about to start.

AN: So next chapter will focus on Freya's fight and Bakugo and Izuku's fight or it's gonna be a long chapter. LOL. Till next time.
