Chapter 26
Pool Fun
After hours of questioning from the Police. There were concerned looks at the mention of One for All. Even Aizawa looked concern. Bakugo had stayed by Freya's side during all of it. Freya was happy just to get home and relax and Bakugo was allowed to stay the whole week after she was home.
It was getting close to when they were to go to camp. Bakugo had gone home for the day. Freya was sitting in the living room watching TV when a knock on the door came. Freya got up and headed for the door. Jiro and Mina were standing at the door. Mina threw her arms around her friend and hugged her.
"I'm so glad your alright. Kirishima told us what happened. You alright?" Mina asked.
"I'm fine. Recovery Girl took good care of me." Freya said. Jiro sighed in relief. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We are here to get you out of the house and to the School Pool for some Summer fun. Yaoyorozu scheduled us to have some time at the pool. I think the boys are trying to get some time with us as well for endurance training." Jiro said.
"Yeah. Let me grab my backpack." Freya said. Freya went to get her backpack. She came out and the girls walked towards UA and Freya explained what happened when she was taken.
In the locker-room. The girls were happy to see Freya alright and up and moving. Freya got into one of the school swimsuits. It was one piece. A vibrating came in her locker. Freya grabbed the phone to see it was Kirishima.
"Hey, Kiri." Freya said.
"Hey, Freya. I'm trying to get Bakugo to come to the pool for the day and he's not having any of it. Can you help out?" Kirishima said. Freya could hear Bakugo complaining in the background. Freya sighed.
"Give him the phone." Freya said. Jiro and Mina raised their eyebrows.
"What do you want, Brat!" Bakugo growled in the phone.
"Just come to the pool, Katsuki. I'm gonna be there with the girls and then we can do dinner after. I'll buy." Freya said in a nice voice.
"Fine. I'll be there with Shitty Hair soon." Bakugo said without hesitation. Kirishima jaw dropped. He should of thought of calling Freya soon if that's all it took to get Bakugo to the school pool.
The girls head out to the pool to see the boys already there except Izuku, Kaminari, and Mineta. Yaoyorozu led the girls over to the other side and they started stretching. Kaminari and Mineta came sliding in. They didn't seem thrilled that they were doing endurance training.
"I think they expected to see us girls in something else then this one piece." Freya said as she stretched.
"Yeah, I think your right." Uraraka said as the boys turn with excited looks in their direction.
"Oh, hey. Hi, Mineta." Tsu said.
"We didn't know you guys would be here." Jiro said. Kaminari looked disappointed while Mineta looked like he was in heaven. Iida headed for the two. "Least Iida is gonna keep them in line." The girls nodded in agreement as Iida grabbed the two, who yelled in agony and dragged them over to the others.
The girls decided to toss a Volleyball around. Uraraka had the ball in her hand as they all stood in the water.
"Get ready for it!" Uraraka called. She threw it up in the air. "Serve!" She hit the ball over the net.
"Mine!" Mina yelled as she set the ball. Tsu jumped out of the water and grabbed the ball with her tongue.
"Ribbit!" Tsu said and sent it flying. Jiro grabs the ball with her earphone jacks and sends it flying.
"Got it!" Hagakure calls as she hits the ball over. Yaoyorozu sets the ball. Freya jumps out of the water using her force quirk and hits the ball back sending her flying back into the water. She comes out laughing. The girls continued their fun.
The boys looked exhausted as Iida had put them through some intense training. Kaminari and Mineta were passed out on the cement. They decided to take a break. Freya sat on the side of the pool with her feet in the water. Yaoyorozu soon joined her.
"You sure you're alright after everything you went through." Yaoyorozu asked.
"I'm fine. Still get some nightmares, but Katsuki has been there for me." Freya said.
"He treats you better then all of us, but I'm glad he was there for you and your back with us. You had us all worried." Yaoyorozu said.
"Thank you, Momo." Freya said getting a hug from her friend.
"You better!" Bakugo's voice broke the two friends apart. He was storming towards Izuku and Iida. Freya had to bite her lip.
'Damn. He looks good shirtless.' Freya thought.
"The next time I beat you, I want you to be at your strongest, you damn nerd!" Bakugo said. Freya stood up. Mina slid over.
"Girl. You are so lucky. Look at those mussels." Mina said.
"Get your own boyfriend, girly. He's mine." Freya said, pushing Mina into the pool.
"Kacchan!" Izuku said as he looked scared as Bakugo stormed his way.
"Katsuki, really!" Freya called. His eyes land on her and roamed her body. Freya nearly had to bite her lip at the hungry look he had on his face. Kirishima slid in and stopped Bakugo before he could kill Izuku.
"Hey. I got your message. Sorry I'm late. Took a while to convince Bakugo to come out. All it took was calling Freya to get him to come." Kirishima said.
"That's not very surprising." Izuku said.
"So, Deku." Bakugo said. Izuku gasped and Freya sighed as Bakugo caused explosions with his hands. "You wanna settle who's the best between us right now? Huh?"
"Excuse me." Freya said as she ran to see if she could help Kirishima with Bakugo as Izuku backed away.
"No. That's not it." Izuku said.
"Actually, you know what? We could make this training a contest." Iida said. Freya stopped.
"Huh?" Izuku said.
"Hey, everyone! I propose that we see which of the boys can swim 50 meters the fastest. A friendly race." Iida said.
"Yeah!" Kaminari said.
"That sounds fun." Sero said.
"Let's do it." Sato said. The girls gathered with Freya behind Iida.
"Iida!" Yaoyorozu said. Iida looked at the girls. "Why don't you let us help out with this."
"Yes, please.
"And Quirks. Can we use them?" Ojiro asked.
"We're at school, so there shouldn't be a problem with that. However! You cannot cause damage to your classmates or the buildings." Iida said. Bakugo got a crazy smile on his face. "We got Freya here to make sure things don't get out of hand with her father's Quirk."
"Yes, sir." Freya said. Bakugo stepped in front of Izuku.
"I'm gonna annihilate you, Deku." Bakugo said. Izuku stood firm. Bakugo turned to Todoroki. "And you, too, Icy Hot. You bastard." Todoroki nodded.
"Some things never change." Freya sighed. The others nodded.
Bakugo, Kota, Tokoyami, Mineta, and Kaminari were up first. They stood on the platform. Yaoyorozu stood with a whistle. Freya stood with Jiro and Mina to watch.
"Alright, now, everyone, on your marks!" Yaoyorozu said. The boys knelt on the platforms as they got ready. "Get set!" The whistle blows. The boys dived, but Bakugo jumped in the air. He used explosions to get towards the other side.
"Burst Speed Turbo!" Bakugo shouted. He landed on the cement and turned to point at his watchers.
"How was that, you sidekicks?" Bakugo said. Freya stood with her arms crossed.
"Show off." Freya grumbled. Sero and Kirishima were ready to pounce on him.
"What do you think you're doing?" Sero said.
"You didn't even touch the water!" Kirishima said. Bakugo caused explosions with his hands.
"It's called freestyle swimming!" Bakugo yelled. Freya rolled her eyes at her boyfriend's response. No one seemed to care since it was allowed to use Quirks.
"It's fine guys." Iida said. Bakugo came over to Freya.
"Show off." Freya said. Bakugo smirked at her.
"None of the extras can beat me." Bakugo said.
Todoroki, Sato, Aoyama, Kirishima, and Sero were up next.
"everyone on your marks." Yaoyorozu said. The boys knelt in a diving position. "Get set!" Whistle blows. Sero uses his tape to get across the pool. Aoyama was flying backwards with his laser navel.
"Bonjour!" Aoyama called. Todoroki was using ice to slide across the water. The girls laugh as Aoyama gets sick and knocks Sero out of the air and they fall into the water. Todoroki lands on the wall, winning the race.
"You're supposed to be swimming!" Kaminari and Minetta yelled at Todoroki.
"Come on, guys. You get to use your quirks in this, so he has the right." Freya said.
"She's right. Todoroki is the winner." Iida said. Bakugo smirked.
The last group was Iida, Izuku, Ojiro, and Shoji.
"Last group, on your marks." Yaoyorozu said. They get in a diving like position. "Get set!" The whistle blows and they all dive in, except Iida who was using his speed to get across the rope.
"You, too, Iida?" Kaminari said. Izuku was using his Quirk to swim fast through the water. He caught up to Iida and Iida quickly picked up speed to get ahead, but Izuku touched the wall first.
"Yay, Deku!" Freya and Uraraka yelled. Bakugo glared at Freya, who ignored him.
"Nice one." Kirishima said as Izuku got out of the pool.
"Iida, was so close!" Mina said. Izuku helps Iida get out of the pool. Iida, Todoroki, and Izuku came to stand with the boys.
"It's time for the final race. Bakugo, Todoroki, Midoriya." Iida said.
"This should be interesting." Jiro said. Freya nodded.
"As winners of each heat, you'll fight for first place. Understand?" Iida said.
"Got it." Izuku said.
"Yes." Todoroki said.
"Listen up, Scarface. Don't you dare hold back like you did at the Sports Festival. Bring everything you've got!" Bakugo said. Freya, Jiro, and Mina sighed. Todoroki looked at Bakugo with a determined look.
"I will." Todoroki said. Bakugo turned on Izuku.
"You, too. Fight to win." Bakugo growled.
"Yeah! I will. I promise." Izuku said.
Bakugo, Todoroki, and Izuku stood on the diving platforms.
"Then the 50-meter freestyle final race will now begin!" Iida said.
"You got this, Katsuki." Freya called. Everyone was cheering for their favorites. Bakugo sent a smirk at Freya. Iida put up his arm.
"Now, on your marks." Iida said. Bakugo had small explosions on his hands as the other two got ready. "Get set." Whistle blows. They jump, but they fall into the water without using their quirks. Freya's eyes widen.
"FREYA!" Everyone yelled.
"It wasn't me. I swear." Freya said.
"It was me." A voice said from behind. Everyone turned and Freya groaned. Aizawa had his red eyes activated and his hair was in the air. "It's 5 pm." Bakugo, Todoroki, and Izuku got out of the pool. "Your authorized pool time is officially over. Hurry up and go home."
"Come on for one second." Kaminari said.
"But dad." Freya said.
"We were finally getting to the good part." Sero said. Freya gulped as Aizawa's eyes flashed.
"Are you questioning me?" Aizawa said.
"Not at all, Mr. Aizawa!" Everyone said with disappointment in their voices. The students go and change. Bakugo and Freya walked out together. Bakugo wrapped his arm around Freya.
"Damnit. He shouldn't have stopped the race." Bakugo growled.
"Well we did loose track of time." Freya said. Bakugo growled. "Come on, Angry Pomeranian. Let's go get food."
"Stop calling me that or I'll throw you into the pool next time we go." Bakugo said. Freya kissed his check and they head to their favorite restraint.
