Chapter 28

First Couple Days of Camp

The sun was barely up when the students were woken up the next morning. Freya was one of few that were still yawning. Kirishima looked like he was still sleeping on his feet. Aizawa stood in front of them.

"Good morning, class. Today, we begin a training camp that will incease your strength. Our goal is to increase your skills exponentially, so that each of you earns a provisional license. This will allow you to face the dangers that continue to fester in the darkness. Proceed carefully. Look alive, Bakugo." Aizawa said. He tosses Bakugo a ball. He looks at the ball. "Try throwing that for me."

"Yeah, sure. Like in the fitness test." Bakugo said.

"That's right. When you first started school, your record was 705.2 meters." Aizawa said. Freya watched as Bakugo walked away for a bit. "Let's see if you've improved."

"Oh, I get it! We're checking our progress." Mina said. Bakugo started to swing his arm.

"A lot's happenened to us the last three months. Maybe he can throw it a whole mile now!" Sero said.

"You can do it, Katsuki." Freya called.

"C'mon, get it, Bakugo!" Kirishima called. Bakugo bent down.

"I've got this. No one blink!" Bakugo said. Bakugo throws his arm back. "Go to hell!" He throws it forrward causing an explosion. The ball soars far up in the air. Bakugo turned to face the crowd.

"That was 709.6 meters." Aizawa said. Bakugo gasped and looked to see that Aizawa was holding his phone and it was what he read off.

"That's it? Kinda disappointing." Sero said. Bakugo didn't look happy.

"You've had a single semester at UA, and due to your various experinces, all of you have defintely improved. But those improvements have mostly been limited to mental prowess and technical skill. With a slight icrease in stamina thrown in along the way. Your Quirks really haven't grown that much stronger. Not on a funamental level. That's why we're now going to focus on improving your powers." Aizawa said. Freya's eyes widen when her father gets a crazy smile on his face. "This will be so hard, you'll feel like you're dying. Let's hope you all survive."

'Well I feel so loved.' Freya thought with a sweatdrop.

Hours into it. Freya sat on top of a cliff. Bakugo was behind her putting his hands into hot water and sending huge explosions up to expand his sweat glands, then creating chain explosions. Freya was trying to push past her limit with her Force Quirk to make it bigger then what she was use to. Aizawa put her with Bakugo to contain his explosions. Freya had to dig one hand into the dirt as her body weakened, but she was sweating as she pushed through it. Others were around trying to improve their quircks. Izuku was off to the side punching the air and kicking it near them. Freya could see Kaminari and Aoyama using their Quirks in the distance.

Class 1-B stood watching. Freya saw them talking but didn't hear what they were saying as Aizawa approached them. Bakugo lets out a yell.

"That's correct!" A yell makes Freya loose focus and let the Force Field down. Freya clutched her stomach and looked to see all of the Wild, Wild, Pussycats standing there. "Four kittens in one litter!

"Your feline fantasies are here! Say, meow." Mandalay said. Ragdolls swirls around.

"Allow us to lend a helping paw!" Ragdoll said.

"We're champions serving up justice. With our tails." Tiger said, flexing his mussels.

"Purrfectly cute and catlike heroes." Pixie-Bob said.

"We're teh Wild, Wild, Pussycats!" All four said. They do their famous pose. Bakugo causes an explosion behind them. "Full version!" Freya puked on the ground. Aizawa sighed.

"Damnit!" Bakugo said.

"I'm Ragdoll, and my Quirk is Search. I can look at up to 100 people and know everything about them. Like their location and weakness." Ragdoll said.

"With my earthflow, I can creat the ideal training ground for every student." Pixie-Bob said. Uraraka rolled up and a mound of earth came up and sent Uraraka bouncing away.

"And my Quirk is called Telpath. I can give advice to multiple people at once." Mandalay said.

"The name's Tiger. And I'm here to beat you guys to a pulp." Tiger said. Another explosion rings up. "All you kids with strength Quirks it's time for Tiger's bootcamp. Class A's already sweating, so catch up quick!" Tiger slides over to Izuku.

"You alright, Freya." Aizawa said.

"Give me a minute and I can continue." Freya said. Aizawa nodded.

"Your mother was the same." Freya looked at her father. "She had issues when we first started school with how far she could push her force field. But she got stronger and discovered new ways to use the Force. Your mom was happy that you got her Quirk before she died. I wished you could of learned more from her. But your doing well on your own. I am proud of you."

"Thanks, dad." Freya said. Aizawa walked away. Freya sat up and let her hands glow and she pushed the Force Field further then normal. Aizawa chuckled and went to check on the rest of his students.

That night. Kirishima was looking for Freya to see if she wanted to help him with the meat, but he couldn't find her.

"Mr. Aizawa. Where's Freya?" Kirishima asked.

"She went to lay down. She pushed herself to the limit. I'm having Bakugo bring her food when foods done. Let her sleep." Aizawa said. Kirishima didn't argue. Freya had to stop a few times to throw up and Bakugo had helped her back to her bunkrooms after everything was over.

Bakugo headed for the girls room with a plate of food. He got the okay from Mandalay and Aizawa to go in to make sure she ate. Bakugo pushed the door open. The beds were made but there was one that had a bump in the blanket. Freya was curled up in a ball under the covers. Her stomach was in knots, but with her pushing herself it was getting better to the point she wasn't getting to weak, but she overdid it.

She woke to a hand on her shoulder. Freya turned to see Bakugo's worried look on his face knealing next to her. She loved seeing a different side of him then the angry guy.

"You doing alright?" Bakugo said. The smell of the food made her hungry.

"Well enough to eat. Just needed to sleep it off." Freya said. Freya sat up and took the plate of food. Bakugo joined her on the bed in front of her with his food. "I'm surpised you don't want to eat with the others."

"I rather eat with you. We'll be here a whole week. We're gonna be pushing ourselves but we are going to be Pro Heroes someday." Bakugo said. Freya smiled. "But I'm not going any pro agency without you. We work well together and want you with me."

"We'll see when we graduate but I be fine with that." Freya said. Bakugo grinned. He couldn't see himself without her at his side with her Quirks. "I do warn you. Ryuku wants me when I get work studies with her agency. I don't know where you want to go."

"I wouldn't care. She was like your other mother. I want to train with the best to get to number 1." Bakugo said. Freya grabbed his shirt and pulled him into a kiss.

"You will unless someone beats you." Freya said. Bakugo growled. "But your number 1 in my books. Thank you for bringing me food." Bakugo kissed her nose. Girls laughing comes.

"Get some sleep, Brat. I'll see you tomorrow." Bakugo said with smirk as he grabbed the plates. He gave teh girls a nod and disappear out of the bunks as Freya's friends come in. Mina wasn't with them. She had the extra classes with Aizawa.

The next day. Freya sat above Bakugo this time. She was pushing the Force Field further out and she noticed she was getting stronger as she pushed. Freya smirked. Bakugo sent a huge explosion up. It fit the forcefield with a force. Bakugo looked up at her and smirked. Freya returned it.

"Don't lose focus." Aizawa said. Freya turned her head as her father came up to stand next to her and look down at the students that were below them. "Each of you can move faster! And no matter what you're doing, just remember where you started from. Don't forget who you were before UA. Always keep in mind why you're sweating, and why your limits keep getting tested. That's what it means to improve.

Freya thought to her mother's smiling face and then remembering her body laying bloody and dead in front of her as a five year old. She still got nightmares and what kept her going to be a hero someday.

'I'm doing this to make you proud mom and make dad smile again. I miss you.' Freya thought as Izuku ran up to talk to Aizawa about All Might. Freya let out a yell and pushed the forcefield farther and higher then normal. She felt dizzy and let her body collapse. The ground felt cool under her skin.

"Brat!" Bakugo called with worry in.

"Give me a minute." Freya said, almost hugging the ground. Aizawa raised an eyebrow.

'She is strong headed, Nikita. She gets it from you, but she'll get to your level someday. I see the determination in her eyes. She'll make us proud.' Aizawa thought as Freya pulled herself up and caught her breath. Her hands glowed again and the force field was up.

"Meow, meow, meow, meow! More importantly, tonight's gonna be fun! We're pitting classes against each otehr in a test of courage. I know you've been training hard today. And later, you'll get to play hard. How's that for a reward?" Pixie-Bob called. Freya sighed.

'More sounds like more training.' Freya thought.

"Make sure you keep on pushing yourself as you work!" Pixie-Bob called.

"Yes, Ma'am." Everyone said.

That night. Freya stood with Bakugo as they cut vegitables. She had a glass of juice next to her. It was half gone. Freya had changed into a tank top and caprie yoga pants. Bakugo was cutting the vegitables really fast.

"Wow, Bakugo, you're really good with that knife." Uraraka said, stopping to watch. "It's weird." Bakugo turned on her.

"What do you mean it's weird? How can you people be so damn bad at everything." Bakugo growled as he continued to cut while glaring at Uraraka. Kaminari sighed as he walks by.

"Look at that. He's now blowing stuff up." Kaminari said.

"I'm to tired for this." Kirishima said.

"Focus on cutting before you cut you fingers off." Freya said. Bakugo turned back to cutting the vegitables. They finished dinner and ate in quiet. Freya sat between Bakugo and Kirishima.

Night had fallen when they gathered to do the night excercise.

"Perfect. We've filled our bellies and cleaned the dishes. It's time for..." Pixie-Bob said.

"A totally awesome test of courage!" Mina said.

"We're gonna win!" Kirishima, Sero, Kaminari, and Seto said. Aizawa appeared behind the four.

"Not so fast. It pains me to say it, but the remedial class will be having lessons with me tonight instead. The four looked like they were going to faint.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Mina said. Aizawa wrapped the four in his Capture Scarf.

"Sorry. You're training during the day didn't impress me, so I'll be using this time, too." Aizawa said, yanking the scarf and some of them fell over. Freya shook her head.

"Oh, give me a break!" Kaminari and Sero said.

"I just want to prove my courage!" Sato and Kirishima said. Aizawa drags off the four delinquits.

"Okay. So. Class B is going to start out as our scarers. When they're in place, Class A will leave in pairs every three minutes. There are tags with your names on them at the far end of the route. Your goal is to collect those. Now, those who are scarers aren't allowed to make physical contact. Use your Quirks to terrify the others. Got it." Pixie-Bob said.

"The winners are the creative students who make the most people piss their pants!" Tiger said.

"Did we need that visual?" Jiro asked.

"I see. They're encouraging us stroke our imaginations as we compete with each other, all while showing us more uses for our Quirks in the process. As expected of UA!" Iida said. Pixie-Bob had them draw numbers. Freya was with Izuku as a partner. Bakugo was pissed he was with Todoroki.

"Deku. Switch with me, now!" Bakugo growled, storming over to Izuku. Mineta was begging to switch with Aoyama, who was shaking his head. Freya facepalmed.

"Katsuki, it's fine. I don't mind being with Midoriya. Just deal with being with Todoroki." Freya said, stepping in between Bakugo and Izuku, before he could explode the poor boy. Teams were starting to go in. Freya and Izuku were the last team to go into the woods. Bakugo and Todoroki were already in. Tsu and Uraraka were sent in next. Screams were coming from the woods.

"This should be fun." Freya said.

"Sounds like Class B is having fun." Izuku said. Pixie-Bob sniffed the air.

"What's that foul smell in the air?" Pixie-Bob said. Freya sniffed. Something did smell horrible. Something wasn't right. Freya saw black smoke coming from the trees.

"What's going on?" Freya asked.

"Black smoke." Mandalay said.

"Has something been set ablaze?" Iida asked.

"Maybe a fire on the mountain?" Ojiro asked.

"Hey." Pixie-Bob yelled. Freya turned to see pink surround Pixie-Bob and she moves out the way.

"Pixie-Bob!" Mandalay said. Pixie-Bob is hit in the head by something and a man stood there.

"First let's get rid of these feral cats!" The man said. Freya gritted her teeth. A man holding some type of weapon and a lizard man stood in front of them.

"What? No way!" Mineta said, moving away. "I thought they made sure no one could find us. So why the heck are there villains attacking this place?"

"Pixie-Bob!" Izuku runs towards them, but Tiger stops him.

"This is bad." Mandalay said. Freya stood ready.

'Someone let it slip where we were. This is not good, but they must not know who I am or they would of taken me out with Pixie-Bob.' Freya thought. The Students and their teachers got ready for a fight.

AN: And I'll end it there. Trust me with Freya's Force Quirk. I got plans for it. Heh heh. Especially when we get to where the Manga is. Till next time.
