Chapter 1
Brooke stared at herself in the mirror. She had her outfit bought and picked out for days. She liked it but she was really looking forward to spending time with her girl.
They were mother and daughter. But also best friends.
The couple had her when their sons were 4.
She was 2 when everything became official. That was 10 years now.
Their sons were 14. And Serenity was 12. She had blond hair and green eyes.
Salem had Lucas's eyes and hair. While Linden took after his mom. Green eyes and brown hair.

Brooke looked away from the mirror and made her way towards the door. She found Serenity awaiting her in the hallway.
"The mall awaits. Presents need to be bought. Which is the whole point of this trip. But really i'm happy to spend time with you." Brooke stated matter of fact.
"Salem is the River court. Practing for the game at the end of the week and Linden is checking out the new arrivals at the book store."
"I like spending time with you too momma." Serenity replied.

Brooke wrapped her arm around Serenity as they started to make their way around the mall.
