Chapter 27. Time to Moo On!

/Badabum ptsss.../

Sorry not sorry. The pun was too good to be wasted.

Okay as autoruns asked me before…. That TRAILER! OH MY FORZEN !

I loved it so much. That scene at the sea was almost poetic animated with the music matching Elsa's steps through the water. Anna with a sword made my headcanon Canon. Almost a reminder of Anna from OUAT. And Elsa's outfit inspired by the Broadway musical was a nice touch. Ktistoff riding Sven and Anna's new look. All made my day. Let me know what you think of the trailer.

I actually wanted to upload earlier but I am writing in cellphone so it is taking lots of time to write.

Thanks for the reviews, likes, and adding to your favorites. Sorry if this is taking time but b

Chapter 27. Time to Moo On!

As soon as he entered the building, Derek's eyes started itching by the smoke. The floor was not all covered in flames, but it wasn't the flames that worried him...yet. WhatWhat worried the Prince the most, was the poor stability of the shaking hospital. He didn't need to be a math genius like Elsa, to know the ceiling could colapse any moment now.

He had to hurry. Somewhere in this labirynth of fire and hallways a baby was trapped. Now that he was here, also trapped, he wished he hadn't acted so impulsively. He had no idea where to look, and less idea how to escape the inferno once he found the baby. If he found it.

He shook his head. Of course he would find the baby. He had to.

He wasn't as bright as certain royal he knew. Elsa would knew what to do. She was that clever. And her magic could come very handy at this situation. But according to some soldiers, he had talked to before, she was last seen with Captain Jorgen and then simply vanished.

She must have guessed the building had nothing to save and continued her marathon to other buildings. Maybe she had reached Kristoff's unit already. The two ice experts combo. They could manage. Right? Right?!

"She's fine." He reassured himself, as he kept looking though the rooms. " They're both fine."

For now he had to concentrate in finding that man's daughter.

…. …. ….

It didn't took long for Derek to start feeling the consequences of being inside a buliding in flames and limited oxigen to breath. The air was hot and thick making it harder and harder to move. Soon enough running would also be difficult due to the smoke and he would be forced to crawl in fours. Not to mention his current clothes were making him sweat and suffocate even more.

If he ever made it out alive from this hell, he would never let Elsa see him dressed like a cow. A FREAKING COW! How could he ever apologize to her looking like a moron.

Don't you mean "Mooron". Get it? Moo-ron!

He rolled his eyes. For a second he could relate to Elsa and her poor affection for his jokes. His brain could come up with a plan to survive, but no! Not his brain. That would never be his luck. Instead of survivial skills, the almighty had blessed him with the talent of jokes.

CRASH!

A loud bang made him recover his senses and turn around. Something had fallen in the other wing of the hospital. He knew it was stupid, reckless and madness to go there. But, what if the baby was there?

Before he could think it more, his body started moving towards the other hospital wing.

Moo-ve it! Get it!

"Really brain?! Really?!" he shout to the air.

He had to give some credit to Elsa after that joke. His jokes could be really annonying sometimes. Even for him.

…. …. ….

It didn't take him so long to find the place where the "crash" sound came from. It was easy to find it after all the damage it caused. The room in front of him had been blocked. Apparently the celeing was finally starting to give in and fall. There was no way to get inside or outside.

What if the baby was there? He wondered.

But what if it's somewhere else? He thought again.

He could try take away some of the wooden logs and crawl carefully avoiding to get burnt. But if he did, it would take precious time. Time he couldn't waste. And if the baby were somewhere else?… well… that wouldn't be good.

"What should I do?" he asked aloud. Oviously no one answered.

The walls trembled again. Making the debris move and letting a log fall and leaving a small opening.

Maybe it was luck, or a sign or maybe nothing, but it was a chance. And he took it.

…. …. ….

Derek was in his fours, crawling, probably resembling an ugly fat cow right now.

He began crossing the tunnel of bricks and wood; fighting the coughing and praying that the door wouldn't colapse right over him.

He should have kept his wet clothes. The place was getting so dry and dense. Not a single drop of water and his trhoat was starting to itch too.

Then he felt it. Right under his hands, something wt. It was liquid.

"Wait what?!"

He never thought he would begin allucinating so soon by the smoke consumption. But there it was. And it felt so real. A pond of water right under his hands.

He decided to ignore the "water".

Just keep moo-ving. His mind commanded. And he did. If he was really allucinating then he had to hurry even more.

He kept crawling when he started to register that the water was actually getting colder and colder. Which was even weirder.

Derek rushed conviced that soon enough his mind will produce a whole imaginary igloo around him to contrast the heat that was actually real.

He moved quick, this time with less care. Getting some bruises here and there. Scratching his clothes and with the only thought that there had to be an open room the other side.

At least that was what he thought. But in reality he bumped into something else. Or better say, his face almost crashed into it.

He tried to stop when he saw the thing. But the slippery substance made him lose his balance and fall right into it.

Derek closed his eyes as his hands tried to grab something in front to stop the fall.

Then his body stopped.

Somehow, by some weird miracle his body had been pulled from behind and making his nose stand inches from the pointy and quite deadly thing.

He managed to crawl a few steps back and away from the pointy thing. He looked behind to see what had stopped the fall and couldn't believe his luck.

"Maybe a cow costume wasn't a bad idea after all." he said as a small smirk formed in his lips.

His tail. That's right, his cow costume included a tail and it had literally saved him from loosing an eye or getting a nasty scar in the face. Somehow his bad luck had turned out good this time and the tail had gotten stuck between some wooden boards.

He pulled the tail and managed to free it from where it was stuck. Now that that was solved, his eyes came out the front again. He faced the pointy-slash-out of nowhere-slash-weird icy thing.

"Oh right. I forgot about this thing." he said.

He blinked as his eyes payed real attention the icycle thing this time.

To his suprise, that icycle thing wasn't alone. There were other, uh, icy things surrounding the entrance to the room. Like icy tiny peaks. There were more as he advanced thought the tiny space.

It was ice. He was so sure now.

Bloddy freaking ice in the middle of a building covered in flames. And ice could only mean….

"No." He said. "It can't be."

Derek saw as the ice was melting and letting an opening wide enough for him to pass and leave. He laughed out loud by the irony of the situation. Here he was wishing the Snow Queen could magically appear and put an end to the fire with her magial abilities. And now, out of nowhere icy stuff had appeared right in front of him.

Although the ice didn't resemble her magic that much. This seemed more menacing in contrast to the elegant shapes the Queen of Arendelle tended to make. But he was sure it was hers. It had that luminous thingy her magical ice could do. As if it had it's own source of light.

The ice that somehow was helping him to pass through the entrance. Her ice. There was no other way that could be there. She had been here before. He laughed again. She was helping him stay alive without even knowing.

But where? And why?

Derek couldn't imagine why would Elsa venture enter a building knowing fully it could be a one way trip. She was reckless and determined. A dangerous package. But she was also intelligent. Unless she did have a reason.

She wouldn't? He thought. Would she?

He learnt the answer as soon as he reached the end of the debris tunnel and stopped to study the room he had reached.

…. …. ….

He was in a nursing room. He knew that as soon as he saw many baby cribs. Some destroyed, some of them still standing. But that wasn't what called his attention.

Right in the middle of the room under the column there was the strangest thing he ever saw so far today. And he was wearing a cow costume for heaven's sake. This was even weirder.

A thick icy structure with the shape of a bubble stayed glowing in a mix of colours almost ethereal. The icy bubble changed colours rappidly. From blue to yellow to pink to blue again. It felt almost alive, as if it responded to the atmosphere surrounding it. but the thing seemed strong. He could not see inside of it. It seemed so thick and hard to break.

He felt his stomach jump with anxiety. It was without a doubt Elsa's magic.

He pushed himself up but to his surprise couldn't. He struggled again but it was in vain. The gap was too small for his whole body to pass. He managed to crawl a bit more but from waist down he realized now, he was trapped.

Damn that bad luck. He rolled his eyes.

…. …. ….

Then he heard it. It was faint but it sounded like a weep. It was like a faint cry. A baby cry maybe?

Then as soon as he heard it, the crying stopped. Which didn't seem as a good sign.

Derek was frustrated. Could the baby, he had been looking before, be there. Inside that igloo of magic?

But Elsa's magic also meant Elsa herself could be near. Or maybe, ….maybe she was also inside that magical shield. Elsa must have built it to protect herself and possibly the baby too. It was crazy thinking, but it explained everything.

If she was here, at least she was for the moment safe. And possibly the baby was safe with her.

But if that was true, then couldn't Elsa simply use her magic to destroy a wall and run? And take the baby with her?

"Something is wrong." He realized. " She can't leave."

She could be injured or trapped. Or the baby couldn't be moved. Either way, he didn't like it.

"Damnit!" he said trying hard with his hands to open more the debris from his waist. "Ow!" he yelled, as he removed his burnt arm form the hot metalic door handle that had fallen near him.

He felt useless. He needed her help. And she and the baby, might be needing help too.

"Elsa!" he yelled wishing she could hear her. "Elsa!" he repeated. But it was in vain. That ice bubble and the building being destroyed could be blocking her from hearing.

If she was awake. His mind reminded him.

"She is fine!" he said.

But he spoke too soon. The building shook again. He felt as his body was pressed even harder to the floor. Things were falling and the fire had finally reached the borders of the room. Very near him and even worst, near the ice bubble. The bubble kept changing colors which in his heart hoped that it meant Elsa was alive.

…. …. ….

Things fell and soon enough a big bunch of wood feel right over the icy bubble.

Derek yelled the Queen's name as a he managed to kick one of the logs over his leg and escape the tunnel.

He was barely standing. His leg hurt for that stunt but he could ignore it. Knowing if he lived, by tomorrow all his body will hurt in pain anyway.

But he didn't have time to recover as another shake made the ceiling tremble and start falling over the icy bubble.

He saw as the structure cracked like an egg when lots of wooden boards fell over it. They slided given the spherical shape. but the damage was done. The sphere stopped changing colours and stayed in a bright blue almost white tone.

When a log the size of Kristoff was about to fall right over the the icy bubble. What did it stopped changing colours?! What did that mean?! Derek didn't know what that mean but he didn't like it.

…. …. ….

Then he heard it. As the cealing cracked again and a medium wooden table bagan falling right over the sphere's top. It wasn't that big but if it hit the top he knew the sphere would break and the table fall right over the Queen and baby.

"No!" he yelled as his feet moved on their own. He used all the weight of his body and jumped with his arm stretched as most as he could. With his hand he managed to change the wooden table direction as much as he could. it worked. A bit.

Instead of falling directly to the top of the sphere, the wooden piece fell and hit an edge. The result causing a big crack in the magical structure and breaking it like an egg.

And Derek, who had had jumped without much thought had fell also over one side of the ice sphere. But due to his weight and the impact the ice she'll cracked making slid. This time his stomach and face hit the floor.

"Ow!" He mumbled as his face planted to the hard floor.

The next thing he registered was a baby's cry.

…. …. ….

Was she dead? She couldn't be dead? Could she? The pain wasn't gone yet.

The air once again was hot and hard to breath and the baby in her arms had woken up. She was crying again, probably for the same reason Elsa was sure they weren't dead yet. The heat was back.

In contrast to the cool and silence that her ice shield provided, the heat and chriping sounds coming from the wood being burnt and broken into pieces indicated she couldn't be dead.

The sphere was gone.

At least the baby seemed unharmed when the Queen opened her eyes and checked on her. The blanket has kept the thin layer of frost of protection. And the baby was fine. She was fine.

Elsa smiled and let out a sigh of relief.

The baby girl reduced her crying to babbling as Elsa met eyes with her. Elsa couldn't hide the smile of relief as the baby just stared at her. Maybe the Queen's smile perplexed the baby, or maybe she was too tired of crying. The baby must have been born for at least a day or two. Or maybe today. She was so small and new to the world. Wait, if she was born recently, that meant they could be sharing their birthday for hours apart. That though was silly but Elsa found it funny. Like a bond or an inside joke she and the baby shared now. They could laugh about this when the baby girl became of an older age. And share birthday cake even.

Aaaand she was thinking nonsense again. Maybe the poisonous air of smoke was giving her allucinations about cake.

"Ow!

Elsa's heart made a jump.

… … …. … …

That "ow!" had sounded too real to be an allucination. And a baby girl couldn't speak and less have a soft baritone voice.

A complaining voice she was sure, she had heard before.

She turned around and …

Okay.Maybe I AM dead. She thought. Because what was she seeing couldn't be real.

Could it be? No it can't be!

It was, impossible. Unthinkable. Unbelievable. And yet, there it was.

A person, dressed in white with black spots with a burnt tail, was lying right behind her. Wait what? A tail?!

Was it a dalmatian costume? Could it be a fireman? She knew some firemen in other countries trained dogs, among them dalmatains, to rescue people. But she had never heard of firemen dressed as dogs.

I lost my mind, didn't I?

She blinked again as she examined the person who had horns and a udders?!

So it was a cow costume? That made more sense.

And how come a man dressed like a cow makes more sense huh?! Her inner voice reminded her.

Alright, now she knew if she wasn't dead she must have gone insane.

She moved her hand slowly, wondering if she touched him, the allucination would vanish.

Her hand was mere inches to his arm, but stopped midtrack when the "cow man" moved on his own. Elsa immediately retreated her hand . The man's head turned around, finally noticing her presence. Their eyes met. The fire light revealing the wild hair and dark blue eyes that, to her bigger surprise, she did recognized.

That's it. I lost my mind.

… … … ….

"De..Derek?" she called his name with hesitation. Please be an allucination. Please, disappear. Please.

The cow Prince, who had been staring at her, as hearing his name, raised himself from the floor. He was in his knees, head in level to hers. He blinked several times before addressing her.

"Uh, hi Elsa." He said.

"It is you." Elsa couldn't believe it. "You.. why.. how?!"

"I guess it's useless now, to aks If you are a product of my imagination huh? Your Majesty?" he said casually. As if nothing was happening around them. Fire and destruction surrounding them. "I was hoping the icy bubble was empty but… here you are."

Elsa felt her mouth dry and stomach turn. He was real!

"Why are you here?" She asked. "And dressed like a cow?!" Her voice didn't sound soft. Her voice came out harsh and tired. "Am I dead?!"

"Whoa, calm down . You are not death. It's just a long story." He said shortly.

"But, how did you know I was here?" she asked still shocked.

"I didn't." He admitted. "We didn't know where you went when we reached this area. " he explained. "You always were a step ahead."

"We?" she asked confused.

"Anna and me. We were looking for you. And Sven helped too."

"Anna?! Is she also in the hospital?!" Elsa was soon alarmed.

"i don't think so." Derek explained. "They weren't letting people enter. I kind of evaded the guards and as soon as I got inside the entrance collapsed behind me."

"So, if you didn't enter for me, then...?" Elsa said looking at the baby.

"Aye." Derek said. "I heard this man yelling about his daughter being still inside, but no one seemed to be really listening to him. Then a guard took him to their superior officer and …well, I saw the building and...I wasn't sure if the baby was really inside or not, but…"

"You just jumped in. Right?" She interrupted him already knowing.

"Yeah." He nooded. "I guess you felt the same?"

Elsa only nodded.

Derek looked at her seriously." Not surprising. You wouldn't be you, if you didn't."

Then his eyes softened as they changed direction form the baby to meet hers. "And let me guess? You've been saving Arendelle and all that magic stuff in high heels didn't you?"

Elsa felt the heat again. This time no sure if it came from the flames or from her own chest.

"Why is not surprising you would bring that up?". Remembering the imaginary Derek from before, teasing her for her predilection for high heels when doing reckless things.

Not many hours ago they had had a bad fight and yet here they were, joined again by random events. Talking to each other again. Talking for heaven's sake! Back to their zone, whatever it was. Maybe the bridge from the park wasn't lost yet as she thought.

They could talk this through. Even if they had to break the ice with high heels as topic and the circumstances had to include being trapped in a hospital about to collapse any moment.

Break the ice? Really Elsa? Her inner self questioned. Now, who is the joker now.

It's the stress and poisonous smoke. Elsa told herself. And the fact that Derek dressed in a cow costume was making their current situation look more like a comedy and less a drama.

"Anyway, I am not very sure how magic works, but the fact that this place is still in fire and you hadn't leave with the baby yet, indicates you can't use it."

She looked at him, remembering they were still surrounded by flames. And once again amazed by how observant he could be.

"I can produce magic, but it is acting strange. And..."

"And what?" he asked.

"It also hurts when I use it." She admitted. There was no use of lying him.

Derek looked worried but still tried to hide it with a simpathetic smile. "I see. After what you did back there at the park, I wouldn't blame you if you are tired."

Elsa looked at one of her hands. Of course Derek would think it was all the result of tiredness and stress. But this, whatever it was, felt so different.

"I know my magic is our only way out." She said. "But could also be our end."

Derek by instinct tried to reach her hand. But Elsa almost immediately removed it form his reach afraid she could hurt him. But the baby was fine and that mean that he was safe too.

Unfortunately his hurting face told her he must have misunderstood the action again.

"Look. If we…" he made a pause of hesitation. "I mean, when we get out of here, if you allow it, I hope you can introduce me to that Marshmallow of yours; and then you can bury me in a big mountain of snow; and then I'll take care of that pig for as long as you want; I'll let the Queen of Drama touch my hair; I'll volunteer to wash the dishes for Kai; I'll never sit on your desk again, if you even let me enter to your study of course; and I'll let you call me Derry, along with any Shakespeare insults as many times you want."

"Wha..what?" she looked at him. "What are you saying Derek?"

"We don't have much time. But I need to tell you I was a complete idiot at the ball. I understand if you don't trust me more. I don't deserve your friendship. I was stupid to think you couldn't handle things by yourself. I knew you could but I guess I couldn't stand that you could do them without my help. I was…uhm I am too proud and I really, really wanted to punch that Dracula's fangs out of his creepy mouth. Correction I still want to punch him. But I put you in a bad position and you handled it like a pro and I crossed the line and … when I said you weren't normal, I didn't mean it. Well, I did. But not like a bad thing. I totally get it. I meant you were far from average. Wait that sounds even weirder. I mean, you are one of a kind. In a good way. For me… you are…uhm," He breathed."You are special."

"Derek," Elsa said trying to ignore her beating chest and mess of a mind after the young Prince's babling. "Listen, I…"

"Sorry," he interrupted her. "I just wanted to tell you that in case the worst happened. Later you can vanish me to the Southern Islands or something."

"Derek! For Heaven's same. " she raised her voice. "I didn't let you get near me because I thought I could hurt you not because I didn't want to be near you anymore! And that was the same case at the gardens."

"What? So you are not mad at me anymore?!" his face was priceless. Surprised and yet a spark on his eyes starting to shine.

"What? Of course not. I am still mad about how you gave a damn diplomacy and defyied one of my guests in my own home!" Elsa didn't know where her energy was coming from. But, she embraced it. It felt good not concealing. "

Derek's face surprised her then even smiled fully at her.

"And that is the Elsa that I don't want to lose!" he said proudly.

"Also, thank you for what you said. I knew what you meant byt I also let my insecurities cloud my judgement. And…."

The ceiling trembled but Elsa ignored it. She had to say it. In case she didn't have a another chance.

"I want you to know, that I am sorry too. For everything." She dared to say. "I hurt you too. And that hurts even worst. "And I would say more but we are running out of time and this will sound so selfish but I am out of ideas and, you being here does bring hope to save this baby."

"It's not selfish. I understand what you mean. As soon as I entered here, I was hoping you'd magically appear and even the odds. I am sorry for that too I guess. For unconsciously wishing you were trapped here too."

She laughed.

"Me too I guess." She said. "Now what?"

They looked around and dust from the ceiling began to fall over the room.

"We save this baby princess." Derek said tenderly. "Also I bet you a sandwich that you'll come up with a way to leave this hell. There'snow one better for the task." He said adding another signature joke.

And that is the Derek I don't to …

… … ….

The walls started trembling trembledously making Elsa's senses be back on alert again. They had being to distraught with apologizing that they had lost precious time to escape. Did she regret it? No. Was it stupid? Yes. Would she do it again? Possibly.

The flames had reached the room and walls. Soon what remained of Elsa's icy sphere would be nothing but a pond of water. She looked as the ceiling began trembling more, causing one side of it to fall. A chandelier that was pending there shook so hard that it's rope broke.

Elsa knew what was going to happen next. It wouldn't be the first time she's seen a chandelier fall. And that other time, it didn't end well for her.

The chandelier fell causing pieces of wood be thrown away in all directions.

Elsa hugged the baby to her chest to cover her from the wood remnants and looked down. As she did, she felt as strong arms covered her body completely in a hug. The gesture of the Prince startled her but she didn't fall back this time. With Derek covering her front, they both shielded the baby between their chests.

She wanted to say something and thank him, but instead her body acted on her own; and surprising her and the Prince both, Elsa dared to rest her forehead in his left shoulder. Her head slightly bumping the bell of his cow suit and producing it's sweet sound. The sound of the bell calling the baby's attention in the process. At least the baby was distracted for the meantime, Elsa thought.

Even if it was selfish to thank he had appeared in this place, she was glad he did. He and his ridiculous outfit were giving her the slightest of hope.

Derek lowered his head leveling his cheek with hers; while his hair tickled her skin putting all her senses in peak. Elsa fought the sudden urge to move away. The proximity was too much to handle but they had to shield the baby.

And that, was the only reason she didn't move away, she assured herself.

Maybe it was the feel of hope, or simply that time has passed and she had recovered some strength. But for a reason, during the hug, she started feeling more recovered. As she had taken a charged cup of coffee.

"Seems you still keep some tricks under your sleeve." He whispered behind her ear.

"What?"

"Look around us." He told her.

Elsa raised her head and looked behind his back. Right there, surrounding them was an icy wall. It was thin and weak to be honest. But she didn't know when or how that happened. Maybe she was getting her energy back after all.

And the hug, had nothing to do with it! She kept telling herself. It was the sense of survival. Mere instinct.

Whatever that was happening. That energetic sensation engulfed her. Somehow, somewhere in her subconscious, a little voice was telling her that that strange energy was helping her focus better and maybe have control over her powers again.

"You can do it."his deep voice said to her ear.

Okay. Maybe 1% of his presence did influenced in her recovery.

Elsa took a deep breath before nodding. As she did, she couldn't avoid registering the smell of burnt wood and smoke impregnated in the fabric he was wearing. Which was normal due to the fire.

But also, given the current proximity she couldn't avoid sensing his familiar scent. She dared to take another deep breath before moving apart from him.

Alright maybe more than 1% of him. Like 2 to 5%. But just that!

… …. ….

Elsa looked at him. He didn't say anything, just looked at her with that deep serious stare with a

spark in his eyes. He was ready for whatever she would decide. She knew what to do. If she didn't, they all would be dead soon.

"Okay." She said out loud and passed the baby to Derek. He took the baby in his arms with no questions asked.

She stood up, ignoring the smoke itching her eyes and nostrils. It had been easier to breath under Derek's neck.

Hey! If you don't want to add another 5% to the list, you should concentrate. Her inner voice almost yelled at her.

Elsa tried to clear her mind. Her mind, uhm, she, was right.

"So, any ideas?" the Prince asked her.

Derek stood up too following her, but keeping the baby facing his chest and covering her with the blanket. He looked at Elsa.

Elsa nodded as she tried to concentrate and picture in her mind that she didn't want ice peacks but a way out.

She could do this. She had to do it. No matter what. Anna never gave up on her when she saved her from Hans and from herself. Her parents probably tried to their last breath to survive. She had to try. For them.

"I thought about it and the only possible exit is from that hole in the ceiling." She said. "Derek," she turned to look at him. " the flames will be bigger there. And you won't be able to move as freely with the baby in your arms. It's crazy and dangerous."

"I know. But you are the best chance this baby has to return to her dad." He said quickly. " You are Elsa. The most reckless and brave person I've ever met. Teach those flames who they are dealing with."

She felt her body be filled with that same strange energy. It gave her chills? And not every day the Queen of Snow gets chills.

Alright then. Let's round that to 10 percent. But just because Elsa prefered even numbers in math.

"Ready?" she asked him.

"Ready." he answered hugging the baby in a more comfortable way for running.

Elsa raised her hands and conjured her magic towards the floor and raised it to the ceiling. The pain was back but somehow more bearable now. It was strange but there was no time for thinking about it. Now she had to concentrate in the shapes. Any random peak could break a joint in the structure of the hospital and the building could collapse with them inside.

There was no time to conjure a full staircase but a simple block of ice might do.

"Jump!" she said.

Derek jumped to the block of ice and landed next to her. As soon as he secured the baby, Elsa shot ice to the ceiling breaking it, to let them pass through. The second floor would be more unstable but it was the only way she could think of.

Flames surrounded them until they reached the ice block corner's. Derek and Elsa were shoulder to shoulder now.

Esla pressed her foot to the block and they were lift from the ground to the second floor. Things were falling over them.

Elsa conjured the first thing she could think of to protect them. An umbrella made of ice appeared on her hand and she passed it to Derek. He took it firmly and shielded the three of them as Elsa commanded the platform to keep going.

As soon as they reached the second floor Elsa released her powers and the platform stopped moving. She could feel a tingling pain in her inner core as she took a deep breath. But the pain was bearable now, somehow.

"You okay? " he asked her as Elsa failed to hide wincing from the pain and effort.

"I'm fine." She quickly said. " Let's go." She said as she shook her body slighty to let the pain disperse.

The floor was unstable and the smoke made it hard to cross to the hallway outside. So, avoiding the pain Elsa raised her hands and produced a blast of ice creating a frozen path for them.

Elsa took the first step and as suddenly realized her mistake. The floor which had been too fragile broke in an instant and collapsed with her.

"ELSA!"

Her whole body began to fall to the void.

… … … ….

She didn't even have time to react or even scream as her arm was held by Derek's right hand. He had dropped the ice umbrella to the fire beneath them and reacted quickly enough to grab her arm.

"Hold on!" he yelled as he pulled with all his strenght. The baby in his other arm was awake and crying. Derek pulled again, as Elsa tried to focus again and channel her powers. She kicked the wall of the block of ice to produce a small perpendicular ramification of ice. She reached it with her feet and managed to climb from it. Derek pulled again harder and this time both managed to put Elsa safely in the big block of ice.

The baby kept crying. Derek tried to rock her but it wasn't working. Elsa felt the same after the stress they've been through she'd be crying too if it weren't for the shock she was still in. That fall would have definetely killed her or if she were to survive by miracle, the fire would have finished the job.

"Thanks". She told him still amazed at how close that had been.

"Don't even mention it." He said breathing hard. He was also shocked." Now what?"

"I could try and break a wall and then conjure a slide to outside the building." She said. "But the structure is weaking more and more by the minute so if I break a key point in the building ….we…" she stopped to look at the baby.

"Okay I get it. What's plan B?" he said hugging the baby more as she started to wrestle in discomfort and kept crying. The heat was reaching them and the frosting in her blanket was starting to melt.

"We keep going up, until we find a window." She said as she reached her hand at the baby.

"If we do that the flames might grow bigger." He said. "And we can't trust stepping on the floor."

"I know. Which is why we'll have only seconds to get out. " she nodded. "Sorry little one." She caressed the girl's cheek.

"if these were a chess game, I guess we'd be under check. And now it's the Queen's turn to moo-ve." he showed a faint smile.

She nodded. Only he would come up with such a silly encouraging phrase. But hey, if they were battling their possible death might as well go with it.

"Your moo-ve Your Majesty. " He smiled in return and nooded at her, telling Elsa he was ready.

"You keep the baby safe." she said. "If we can't find a path, I'll make the path for us."

"Lead the way then." he said as he covered the baby's face with the blanket.

Elsa turned around and conjured a bridge made of ice, strong enough to support their weight. The bridge hadn't even reached the other side when Elsa decided this could be their only chance.

"Now!" she yelled and he followed.

She ran as her hands kept conjuring ice at her front, completing the bridge. Derek followed behind her.

"Elsa, look. Stairs." The Prince said as their bridge reached the hallway.

"Good." She exclaimed. "Now, let's reach the top and find that window."

… … …

Elsa conjured another bridge to reach the stairs and again they ran feeling as the floor beneath them started to fall until they reachead the stairs. Supposedly the staris were built around the two biggest pillars of the building, which in theory would be strong enought to support their weight, but they couldn't bet on it.

So she produced another blast and froze the stairs with a thick layer. It hurt to do that but she didn't care.

"Crossing fingers Your Majesty." He said.

"Crossing fingers indeed." she replied and up they went.

…. …. ….

Miraculously they made it in one piece to the upper floor and the stairs managed to support them. But after that effort Elsa was starting to feel dizzy. Not sure if the smoke or her powers strange behavior or the mixture of both were doing the trick.

She turned to check on Derek and the baby girl. He was panting as she was. That cow suit looked so unconfortable and hot. He had took off the cow hoddieand his messyhair was visible now. And the baby had stopped crying but looking at Derek's chin with her eyes wide open. Perhaps the cow suit was working as the perfect distraction for a newborn. She could cools herself, so maybe she was handling the heat better than them. Which it worried her.

"Window!" he exclaimed pointing to the far end of the rooms.

"Elsa turned and there it was. A big window that had view to the main street. Their exit.

Their, very, far, far away exit.

The bulding shook and both grabbed each other to shield the baby.

"the walls are collapsing Elsa." Derek said standing next to her."Can your ice support them somehow?"

"I could try, but it will last mere seconds.

"I'll race you then." he said encouraging her.

She smiled. "Sounds good to me."

"Ready?" she asked.

He nodded. "Set." she prepared her hands and took a deep breath.

"GO!"

…. … … …

They both ran. Elsa used both her hands and produced ice pillars all around the walls.

The building was cracking and literally collapsing over them. The walls were no longer 90 degrees straight and closing dangerously.

The Prince was faster and surpassed Elsa . She let him pass as that gave her room to protect them from behind. Then a big hole opened right in front of Derek.

"Derek!" He couldn't stop so instead he made a big jump.

"Whoa!" The Prince reached the corner of the other side but with the baby in his arms he couldn't grab anything to avoid falling on his back.

Elsa reacted immediately.

She produced a snow ball and threw it at him. Wishing the momentum of his body would be pushed to the other side. The safe side.

Luckily he was pushed forward.

He stumbled but managed to stay on his feet.

At the same time , Elsa was reaching that same hole. She couldn't afford making a bridge. It could be too much weight and make the floor collapse. She jumped instead and in midair produced a half slide to fall from it.

It worked. She reached the floor and fell. The landing wasn't that gracious.

And the pain came next.

"Are you crazy?!" he asked as he helped her stand.

"Same level as you." She responded. "Come on we are nearly the…"

A big crash came from beneath them. The pillars had reached their limit.

…. …. ….

That was it. They were literally standing over their graves. Everything was trembling.

She felt Derek grab her arm.

"Forget about the structure. We run and jump through the window." He said.

"Are you crazy?!" She replied.

"Same level as you." He replied. " Look. The ice harvester were making a big barrier of snow to surround the building." He explained.

"Do you think that will be enough?" She asked.

"Not really." He said . "But…" another tremble. "It's now or never. I know it's hard for me to say this, but can you truste on this one?"

He offered his free hand to her.

"I…" a flash of memory showed Elsa their recent fight at the gardens.

Did she trust him? Another image of him offering his hand to start their first rehearsal. He never showing fear of what her powers could do. Then another one, where a disguised Derek pulled her hand across the streets fo Arendelle on their impromptu tour."

Something exploding from downstairs made her come back to her senses.

"I want to." She took his hand and he nodded in understanding.

"I can work with that." And he held her hand strongly.

Then without Another saying they ran as fast as they could.

The end of the hallway was near. Elsa shot a blast of magic form her free hand shattering it.

Just at that instant Elsa felt as Derek pulled her towards him. Somehow her body memory clicked in. That was their secret sign for a waltz turn.

She understood what he meant. It was crazy but they were into agreement they were both mad at this point. In a quick and almost rehearsed movement, as they reached the window her free hand went to reach his elbow and pull herself to him as strong as she could.

Then they jumped with all their remaining strength. Pressing to each other in an embrace that in hope, would shield the baby from the shattering glass and the fall.

….. ….. … …..

"LET ME GO!" she yelled. "LET ME GO!"

"But Princess… it's too dangerous." Said one of the ten guards that were restraining her.

"My sister and my friend are in there. And a baby."

"We don't know that. No one saw the Queen enter. And the baby must be at the hospital tent in the castle already." Said another guard.

"You saw my friend enter. What about him?!" she struggled.

She was kicking and punching.

"Sorry, Your Highness. We have orders. " onother one said.

"And I order you to not follow those orders." She demanded.

"Sorry, but the rules come from the Queen herself." Said one guard. " She told me personally to keep you safe."

"And Captain Jorgen ordered the rest of us to follow that order."

"I don't care! " she struggled. "LET ME GO!"

"Hey! What's going on here?!" a familiar male voice interrupted them. " Anna? What are you doing? And why are you dressed like a page of some sort?"

"Kristoff! Thank God. Help me get free of them." Anna said still struggling.

"Err… Okay." Her boyfriend agreed as he offered his hand to her. She took it and he pulled.

Everyone was amazed as she was pulled form all ten guards. Anna knew he was strong but the other guards didn't and that made them free the Princesss."

"Oh, thanks buddy." Kristoff said as he looked behind him. Sven who had been resting nearby must have got his owners scent.

Anna then noticed that the reindeer had pulled from Kristoff's formal jacket to help himself pull Anna form the soldiers grab.

"Thanks again Sven." She patted it's head. "Now be a good boy and don't let these guards block my way to save my sister and Derek and possibly a baby from that building fire."

"Wait what?!" Ktistoff. "Hold your horses feisty pants. That's too dangerous!"

Kristoff grabbed her instantly sensing the Princess reckless intensions.

"What?! Not you too." Anna couldn't believe it.

"They need us." She said to him.

"I know. But we can't just jump there. It's sucidal." He said back.

"But, it's been so long and that thing is literally falling to pieces." Anna said as she calmed a bit and looked at the ceiling start to tremble again.

The Captain of the Royal Guard among the new added ice harvesters unit and firemen were trying their best to battle the flames. They had managed to protect the area by forming a snow barrier to control the fire to spread more. But the hospital was covered now in flames and smoke had reached the top.

"How are going to to get them out of there?" Ktistoff asked out loud.

"Excuse me Your Highness, if the Queen were inside shouldn't the building be already turned to ice by now? I mean, like most of the other ones she covered in snow?"

The others nodded worriedly.

"Maybe she is not inside." Ktistoff said.

"That would mean only Derek and the baby are." Anna said looking at the scenery in front of her. "But I can feel Elsa is there too."

"Then why she is not using her powers?" Kristoff asked worried now.

"I don't know. But that can't be good. Something's wrong." Anna said feeling her stomach shrink.

The building cracked and the ceiling started to collapse making Anna's worst fear pass through her mind.

"Ktistoff what …what if…"

"CRASH!"

… … …. ….

Anna was interrupted as the sound of glass breaking called everyone's attention.

She looked up and saw the left side window of the third floor shattered in many pieces. Something big came out of it immediately.

Her mind and heart stopped. She knew it was happening in the blink of an eye. But for her it was all moving in slow motion.

The "thing" wasn't furniture. The golden braid moving in the wind as the blue dress fell dramatically. The other figure. A cow suit that used to be so white and now was all gray and dirty. Both were facing each other in a tight embrace. They looked more like two different colours of clay melted together.

One of Elsa's hand separated from Derek's shoulder just a bit and Anna registered as a blast of ice came from that hand and a bundle of fresh snow started to grow beneath them.

But heat had melted most of the snow barrier Captain's Jorgen team built. It would be too thin for them. It was too high!

She felt Ktistoff's hand that was still grabbing her shoulder press hard. He had also recognized them. He was the ice expert and that gesture of his had just confirmed her terrible guess.

She couldn't breath as she and everyone else couldn't do anything and just stared.

Then for a fraction of a second something white and big appeared out of nowhere.

The thing came out for full view and the one's that noticed it gasped. Anna didn't. She recognized that blurry siluete and made a quick pray that what was she thinking, was not an allucination and that it would work.

To everyone's else's surprise, the blurry white thing growled and jumped. It stretched it's arms as long as it could, revealing two big white claw-like hands joined together. Then it fell bringing lots of snow in the floor spread like an oncean wave.

In an instant as the snow flew and the building finally collased at the same time

"Everyone take cover!" Anna heard Captain Jorgen yell.

She felt as Kristoff's arms covered her too from the second wave mixed with snow and debris. Anna fought as hard as she could to keep her eyes open. Her eyes fixed in the spot supposedly the two royals had been caught by a giant snowman.

….. … …

As soon as it happened, new orders were given and soldiers, firemen and ice harversters began working together to fight the now collapsed building on flames. As they did, more smoke rounded the area blocking the view.

Even if the rest of the building was on flames, most of the people's eyes were fixed on the snowman next to it. He was coverd in snow and dust but he seemed alright. But what really worried everyone was the state of the people it was holding.

Then the big icy hands began to open.

Anna was opening her path from the people and debris when she spotted them.

The two royals began to lift themselves and come to a sitting position with their legs still retracted a bit. And each other arms still not letting go of the other person. They were looking at each other in disbelief then both looked down. It was then that Anna saw they had been protecting something with their bodies. It was indeed a baby. Anna's heart melted at the scene, but she was still too far from them.

"Come on Feisty Pants!" Kristoff pulled her hand from the crowd as Sven opened the path for them to cross.

… …. ….

"She is okay. "Derek said in a cough.

"We made it." Elsa said still processing all what had happened. Then she noticed the snowman's staring at them.

"Marshmallow?" She asked surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"Saw big fire. Then, saw Elsa's magic in the sky. Me worried and came." The snowman explained. "Elsa, safe now?".

"I am safe. We all are." The Queen added. "Thank you. " she patted the snowman's hand.

"Wait what?!" Derek explained surprised. "THIS, is Marshmallow?"

Elsa nodded. "I told you he was big."

"And you named him Marshmallow?! For real?" he asked "That's like naming a tiger Kitty. Or a white shark Nemo."

The snowman gave an unfriendly growl at the Prince. Elsa rolled her eyes.

"Marshmallow, this is Derek. He is a friend." Elsa looked at the snowman firmly.

"Friend?" the snowman didn't look convinced. "Cow man good?"

"Err yes. Believe it or not. He is good. The only bad in him is his sense of humor." Elsa explained to him calmly. "Derek, this is Marshmallow. Needless to say be good to him."

"After he called me cow man?" The Prince asked her.

Elsa gave the Prince a tired look. "Just say hi to him."

Derek nodded."Fine. Uhm, hi big guy. Nice to meet you. I'm Derek. And thanks for saving us. You are hero."

"Hero?" the snowman turned to look at Elsa. "Hero, good?" he seemed confused.

"Yes. Hero is good." Elsa smiled. "I'm proud of you." She added.

Marshmallow smiled and opened his hands to let the royals descend to the ground.

"Hero." the big snowman formed a proud smile. "Good."

… …. ….

As her feet found the ground Elsa felt her legs tremble immediately.

"Careful." Derek catched her arm with his free hand. He was holding the baby with the other "Don't want to sit down a little longer?" he asked her worried as he rocked the baby.

"I'm fine. Just dizzy from that fall." She lied. To be honest, her body was drained and although the pain was berable now, she just wanted to lay down on her bed.

"You sure? Elsa," he wispered. "Are you still in pain for using your powers?"

"I'll be fin..." she quickly tried to say but couldn't finish her sentence.

"Elsa! Derek!"

"Anna!" The Queen managed to say before she and the Prince were grabbed into a big hug.

"Hey Princess." Derek said patting Anna in the back. "Your hugs are nice but can I go back to breath again please?"

Anna only pressed harder. But she did took care not to hurt the baby.

Elsa returned the gesture tenderly ignoring the pain form the bruises she got from the fall. Just a few moments ago she had been thinking she might never see her sister again. The hug was the only medicine she needed.

"You two." Anna said as she let go of Elsa and went to look from Derek to Elsa. "NEVER. EVER. DO THAT. AGAIN."

"It's not that simple." Derek shrugged. "I couldn't do nothing. I was pushed to it."

"It was the same for me. My body acted on its own.". Elsa explained. "I just had the feeling the baby was inside and, well I just ran inside."

"Urgrhhh." Anna claimed. "I know. I know. It's just that it bothers me that this time I couldn't do anything to help you guys and ..." She sniffed. "It was that same feeling when mama and papa left on that trip and…"

"Anna. I understand." Elsa whispered. "And I'm sorry for making you pass through that again. I promise I'll be more careful next time something like this happens."

"Thank you Elsa." Anna sniffed and gave her another hug. Then she let go. "No offense but you look like you need a good bath and rest."

Elsa sighed and let out a relieved laughed.

"How about you? Where did you get those pants, Feisty Pants! And that cape?" Ktistoff intervened."And you mate," he turned to Derek. "What are you supposed to be?"

"A cow". Derek said. "I couldn't fit in the Romeo costume so Anna had to wear it."

Kristoff laughed. "At least you didn't chose the Juliet one."

"I couldn't fit in that one either. Pity. I would have made a handsome Juliet." Derek said normally. Making Kristoff look confused if he was messing around with him or not. By Anna's complicit smile and Derek's serious tone Elsa could tell it wasn't a joke. She knew him to well. He wouldn't mind wearing a dress as long as it had the right colour and good fabric to match his eyes. He could pull a handsome Juliet for sure.

"Anyway. I'm glad you are alive ." Kristoff patted Derek's shoulder. "But you do look like you just survived an avalanche."

"Of fire and debris, yes. " The Prince said.

"Oh no." Derek said as she lifted the baby girl. "Not again."

"What is it?" Esla asked worried.

"This little miss just peed on me." Derek said making a funny face.

"What is it with you and being peed?" Elsa sighed tired. The Prince shrugged.

…. …. ….

Ktistoff looked surprised by the royals exchange. He might not know any details of their recent fight, but he had spoke to Elsa later. She might had being acting strong and all but he knew better. She even had mentioned her powers were not showing how she really felt.

This was too messy. Humans were messy. He could ask Anna later, but that would mean that Anna would finally pay attention to the royals and maybe finally notice what the trolls were impliying. Those love experts. More like gossip masters. Putting ideas in your mind and messing with everyone. If Elsa and Derek ever go to the trolls it would be their doom. No way they would leave the valley in single status.

But, Elsa was like him. They both didn't like to be the centre of attention or gossip. Nope. Better leave it there. He'll let Elsa open up to her sister when the time comes. If Elsa even knew what was up with her. She and Derek might be as clueless as he was when he met Anna. Could Anna be as clueless too? He was sure.

Ktistoff gave a quick glance at Anna. She looked confused too. Maybe she had noticed something odd about them too. She did mention she arrived with Derek. It was another quick guess, but maybe Derek told Anna about the big fight.

Then he noticed Sven. He was giving him a silent message.

"Derek told Anna he had a fight with Elsa." The reindeer explained.

Oooh. Ktistoff thanked his friend. Then asked him with a silent look.

"So Anna convinced Derek to talk to Elsa?"

Sven nodded again. "Nope. He went to save the baby instead."

Ktistoff thought for a moment. "So, Elsa and Derek must have put their differences aside just for the sake of saving that baby and their own lives. " He asked silently to Sven

The reindeer rolled his eyes.

"You really think they could had talk during a fire?"

"True". Kristoff nodded.

He looked at them again. They were tired and talking but still he could sense their eyes would not meet for longer than needed. So they were still not okay. How complicate! Mama Bulda was right. Humans are too messy when dealing with feelings and stuff.

"What a pair of fixer uppers." He mumbled to Sven. The reindeer growled and nodded.

"Carrots are better than people." Sven added.

"They sure are buddy." Kristoff said out loud.

"Sorry Kristoff, did you say something?" Anna asked turning to him.

"Err…"

…. …. …..

"Let me pass. Let me pass." A man yelled calling their attention.

People were gathering around them but Elsa could see there was a man trying to reach them.

"That man," Derek said."That's the baby's…"

"Father." Anna finished the sentence.

"Stand back. And let this man pass for Odin's sake!"

"And that's Captian Jorgen." Elsa recognized the fierce voice.

"Your Majesty!" The Captain yelled as he finally opened his way though the crowd. "What you did there was…"

"Reckless I know." Elsa said already prepared for the coming lecture.

"Incredible!" He said clearing the sweat from his front with his arm coat. "I mean, the Royal Council won't be happy about what you did, me included, but…that doesn't mean what you did was wrong. I am a man of action Your Majesty and for me, the good heart of a leader should be measured by his or hers actions. And that was…" He sniffed. "So brave."

Wait what? He sniffed?!

Elsa had to blink twice. No one had ever seen Captain Jorgen emotional before. The man was as tough as rock.

"Than…thank you. But it was everyone's job that save Arendelle Captian." Elsa said quickly. The least she wanted during the Council or the Realms was to rely on her powers. And now, every nation's guest had probably witnessed it. Great.

"Queen Elsa. Your…Your Majesty." Elsa was brought back to reality by the other man calling her. He ventured to approach her as he took of his bunat hat. "You and that young man saved my daughter's life. I could never repay you."

"You don't owe us anything sir." Elsa said as she made Derek a sign to approach. The Prince came to stand next to her and handed her the baby.

"Goodby little one. Be good to your parents." Derek said as Elsa carried her one last time. "You are a tough one."

Elsa smiled.

"Goodbye." She said. "Thank you." She carresed the baby's cheek for the last time. Then gave her to her father.

They were all interrupted by a loud sniff and someone clearing it's nose.

They all turned to see the Captain with watery eyes and a big handkerchief.

"Pardon me," Captain Jorgen apologized. "It's just that… I can't help it." He sniffed again. "The spring of youth is so strong in Arendelle tonight that I can't…" he cleared his nose again. "Arendelle is so lucky to have you and the Princess, Your Majesty." He sniffed and then looked at Ktistoff and Derek. "Also not bad for these two, even if they are little too weird for my taste."

Ktistoff crossed his arms. "I speak reindeer in front of him one time and I get labeled as weird for the rest of my life."

"Oh Ktistoff, it's cute you think speaking reindeer is normal." Anna patted his back.

"I must say, I should feel insulted, but in fact I feel amoosed." The Prince smiling briefly at his bad cow joke.

"Really pal?" Ktistoff said. "A-moo-sed?"

"If I am going to be the cow man for now, better milk some jokes out of it." Derek told Kristoff.

"Jeez." Anna sighed. Elsa just rolled her eyes.

"What?" The Captain and the father of the baby said confused.

"Still, Moo-chas gracias Captain for the average compliment." The Prince said thanked him in Spanish. Only Elsa and Anna, who has studied the basics of romance languages got the bad joke.

"He means thank you very much." Anna just smiled explaining the joke to a even more confused Ktistoff.

Elsa gave him a disapproving look. "Sorry Captain, you'll have to excuse His Highness. He must have inhaled too much smoke."

"Err, sure Your Majesty." The Captain nodded still giving strange glances at the Prince. "Still, what you did was amazing and …"

"Captain," She said giving a simple smile to the sniffing big man. "Everyone did their part, you included, and we only happened to be in the right moment at the right time. We got lucky to be honest. There was a time I thought…" she felt Anna's eyes fixed on her. Elsa saw worry in those eyes and decided it was not the place not the time to come to details about what happened inside the hospital. Later, she would find some time with her sister tell her everything. But know, she was in public and had to play the Queen part for the sake of her people and her own sanity. Besides, she was really tired and even if she was able to talk to Derek, it still felt akward to look at him in the eyes now that their lives were not at stake. She knew he was feeling the same. Both needed a private time to "really talk", but not now.

And most of all. She really, really was reaching her limit. She could feel it. The energy fading away.

Elsa cleared her throat. It felt so dry now that she noticed. Her eyes also were itching and her back felt so heavy.. "Forgive me, I was only trying to say Arendelle proved tonight to be strong in heart and I am the lucky one to be part of it."

"And that jump! " the Captian said sniffing again. "I had seen many things in my life, even a pig flying. But that moment when the window shattered and you came flying out of it. Then that big snowman appearing out of nowhere. It was so…soo…unbelievable, insane and …" he cleared his nose again.

"Geez, what he means is that you two are as crazy as goats." The blond man said. "But in a good way."

Derek and Elsa smiled to themselves at the same time.

"What's so funny?" asked Kristoff.

Both royals turnes to look at Kristoff.

"It's a long story." They said at the same time, causing to look at each other for a brief second. Then looking away after second or two.

"Another one?" Anna asked making Ktistoff roll his eyes this time.

Elsa undestood a bit better now what her sister had meat before. Maybe that's what bothered Anna. She and Derek did had too many long stories where the two were involved.

"I would kill for good rest right now." Derek dared to say. Not sure if he just wanted to be free of the attention, or from the awkwardness between him and Elsa or that he was guessing she was still in pain and she needed rest or that he was just tired.

Knowing him,, Elsa thought, all her guesses were right.

"At least we can agree on that." She admitted and turned to look at him letting him know she got his concern.

"I'm fine." She whispered at him.

"You look like you need extra dose of reindeer tonic." He whispered back.

She was fighting with all her will already to keep her legs standing when she saw Derek's lips move again but she couldn't understand a word.

"I'm sorry what?" she asked. Her own voice sounded weird too.

It was then that Derek's face began to look blurry and dark spots began blocking her sight.

"Elsa?" Derek said. This time loud and calling everyone's attention back to them.

She tried to answer back but air was getting difficult to get into her lungs. And her lips were numb.

"Hey," She felt his hand reach hers. "You okay?" this time she could hear him but his voice seemed to come from far far away.

More black spots in the view. And hey weren't from Derek's cow costume. It was then that her surroundings became all dark.

She could feel his arm reach her waist. Then more voices calling her name. One was Anna's but she couldn't respond back. She felt like drowning.

Her body didn't respond and she couldn't see nor hear well anymore. And then all of a sudden the fatigue was too much to handle and she felt herself lose all strength and fall into the deep darkness.
