Jordan and Wes sit in a surveillance van, watching through monitors as a group of police officers surround Hearst High!
"What do we do? WHAT DO WE DO?" Jordan panicked
"Stay calm, Jordan. This is the kind of situation where I work best." said Wes
"But... the cops have surrounded Hearst High! And Team Pom-Poms and Team Strikeforce are trapped on campus!" Jordan panicked. Jordan runs frantically around the van, checking the monitors. "Team Pom-Poms is hiding in their car behind the school, dressed as cheerleaders. They can't leave while the cops are outside. And Team Strikeforce is still in Mr. Georgette's classroom!"
Inside the Hearst classroom, Jess huddle up with Sakura and Nishan, talking on your walkie-talkie...
"Wes? I hope you can hear me, because we need to get out of here!" said Jess
"I'm on it!" said Wes
"Are they going to go to jail? I've heard really terrible things happen in there." Jordan frowned
"No one's going to jail. Not on my watch." Wes takes a deep breath, then snaps his fingers! "Okay. Okay! I know how to get them out of there. But first, we'll need a scanner to listen in on the police radio... Which... surprisingly... I don't actually own."
"I wish Nishan was here! He's got gadgets and gizmo." said Jordan
"Yeah, well, we're gonna have to improvise. I just need a few of our friends to help me put something together." Wes gather Tommy (Nerd) and James (Gamer)
"They're working on the police scanner! It's like a fancy radio, except with boring police talk instead of catchy pop songs!" said Jordan
"It's absolutely perfect." Wes turns on the device. He hears static for a moment, then some chatter. A gruff cop says... 'Listen up, son. We're out here because your dad and I go way back. If the Chief finds out we're wasting our time refereeing some high school prank war, I'm in a whole stew of trouble!' Then, Max's voice replied!
"I'm telling you, Officer! They stole my key, and they're using it to get into the school! Now get in there and find them!"
'Yeah, yeah. We're going in. You at least coming with us?'
"I'm on my way. I'll be at the school as fast as I can!"
'Fine, kid, whatever you say. All officers, inside, now!'
'You hear that? The cops are going inside! Team Pom-Poms, this is your chance to escape!" Wes called
Across the campus, Julian sits up in his car with Payton and Sarah.
"I don't need to be told twice!" As the cops step inside, Julian floors it, racing off the campus!
"Yes! They're out!" Jordan cheered
"I'm taking Payton and Sarah home and loop around in case Team Strikeforce needs a ride out!" Julian takes Payton and Sarah home
"But... isn't Team Strikeforce still trapped inside?" Mia asked
Wes takes out his walkie-talkie and calls Jess. "Doing okay?"
In Mr. Georgette's classroom, Jess, Nishan, and Sakura huddle down under the windows...
"Not really!" said Jess
"Sooner or later, these cops are going to find us!" said Sakura
"I'm getting stress hives!" said Nishan
"Don't worry, guys. I'll get you out of there. Do you trust me?" Wes asked
"I trust you Wes." said Jess
Wes flicks the scanner back on, listening in to the cop's conversation with Max. 'I don't see anyone here.'
"They might be hiding in a classroom! Search 'em!" Max ordered
'Seriously, kid? Only because it's a slow night. If anything else comes up, we are OUT of here.'
"What do we do?" Jordan asked
"You heard the cop. They'll leave if anything else comes up. Time to cause a little chaos. It time we make some phone calls." Wes smirked
Jordan calls Mary and Wes calls John
"What's up Wes." said John
"Bro what do you want? I'm watching a movie marathon with the gang chilling in this comfy couch." Mary called
"How do you feeling about chilling in that old, abandoned warehouse?" Wes asked
"Seriously? I'm in!" Mary rushes outside.
"John, you love skating, right? Well, how do you feel about skating in places where you're not supposed to? Why don't you get out there and cause a ruckus?" said Wes
"Best. Assignment. Ever!" John smiled bringing his skateboard
A little while later, Jordan calls Mary
"Mary! What's the situation out there?" Wes asked
"Well, the good news is, I'm hanging out in the abandoned warehouse, just listening to music and eating Taco Bell... Bad news is, I think some people driving by might've seen me and called the cops." Mary frowned
"Oh, believe me, that's good news too. Now get out of there!" Wes ordered. "How about you, John? How're things going your way?" Wes asked
"Oh, they're going great! I'm grinding on guard rails and tail-stopping off tail-pipes!" John smiled
"Yeah, but has anyone seen you?" Wes asked
"Uh, yeah, like half the neighborhood, maybe? I'm guessing they're calling in a LOT of complaints." said John
"Perfect. Get out of there." Wes switches on the police radio, where he can hear the gruff main officer grumbling... 'Listen, kid, I've got reports coming in from all over town, Skaters, slackers, who knows what. I'm sending half my boys to check it out!'
"Argh! Fine! But keep searching the school with the rest!" Max snarled
"Well, that's half the officers gone... but what do we do about the rest?" Jordan asked
"Looks like it's time to cause a little MORE chaos." Wes smirked calls Brianna. "Hey Brianna how do you feel like throwing the wildest party ever?"
Brianna squealed on the phone. "I love parties!!!"
"Invite the whole school the more the merrier." Wes smiled
Brianna hangs up throwing the wildest party inviting the whole school more people Brianna don't know them came to the party
Wes flicks on the police radio just as the officer is talking... 'Look, son, this is over. I'm getting reports of some major parties going on across town. We gotta go deal with them.'
"Oh, come on!" Max groaned
'Ugh. After this, he owes me one heckuva nice Christmas gift...' Wes calls Jess on the walkie-talkie.
"Okay, it's down to one cop. Jess. Things still okay in there?" Wes asked
"We've been hiding here for what feels like forever!" Jess groaned
"This is as good as it's going to get. The three of you need to make a break for it!" said Wes
Jess, Sakura, and Nishan huddle up against the door. You can hear the officer pacing just outside...
"How are we supposed to make a run for it? The officer is in the hallway!" said Jess
"If only we had a cardboard box to use as a disguise." said Sakura
"Of all the days to leave my optic camo at home." said Nishan
"Wait. I just figured it out. The cop is in the hallway, right? So we go above him." said Sakura
Jess follow Sakura's gaze up to the air vent above the door.
"Oh no." Jess and Nishan sighed
"Oh yes." Sakura smiled
Jess and Nishan shove a desk against the wall. Sakura goes first, climbing onto it and unscrewing the cover of the vent with an arcade token she pulls out of her pocket.
"Do you always carry that with you?" Jess asked
"Always be prepared, am I right?" Sakura smirked
"Coolest. Girl. Ever." Nishan blushed
Sakura pries the cover off and hoists herself in. Nishan goes to follow her.
"Just switch schools, they said. It'll be fun, they said. You won't have to do anything crazy, like escape through air vents, they said." Nishan stresses out
"I don't think I ever actually said that." Jess sighed being dragged into this heist
Nishan climbs in. You pull yourself up after him.
"Wow. This is WAY tighter than vents are in the movies." said Jess
"Shhh!" Sakura points down through a grate you're lying on. The officer is patrolling right below! "You have to move. Very. Quietly."
Jess nod, take a deep breath and crawl quietly! Jess creep carefully over the vent. As she do, the guard passes right below her! Jess move quietly! Jess pull yourself very delicately over the vent. You're about halfway over. In front of her, Sakura speaks in a faint whisper. Jess clench her hands in and pull herself along very quietly! With total silence, Jess pull herself completely over the vent! Sakura leans back and whispers.
"Wow, Jess, who knew you were such a ninja?" Sakura asked
"I'm as surprised as you are." said Jess
"Yeah, well, unless you've also got a dozen smoke bombs and a grappling hook in your bag, let's keep moving!" said Nishan
The three push through the vents until you get to the end. Sakura unscrews the vent cover, and the three of you tumble out onto the ground outside the school!
"We made it! We really made it!" Nishan cheered
We're not clear yet. We still have to get off campus." said Jess
"Let's split up. That'll make us harder to catch." said Sakura
"Sakura's right. Let's go!" said Jess
Nishan and Sakura run off, going separate ways. Jess look straight ahead at the exit to the parking lot... Julian arrives ready to pick up Nishan, Sakura and Jess. Jess sprint across the parking lot. Up ahead, she see Julian's car. He sits inside expectantly Nishan and Sakura waved at Jess. Jess sprint past the last building... just as Max pops out and tackles her! Jess scramble up to her feet! Max, gloating, blocks your path!
"Gotcha." Max smirked
"Get out of my way, Max!" Jess yelled
"Are you kidding me? I caught you red-handed! I don't know what you're doing here or what you're up to, but you're all trespassing on Hearst campus grounds! I know Wes is helping you loser, he came up with these schemes." said Max
"I'm here for a good cause! Your school is full of corruption!" said Jess
"Oh please! Spare me the do-gooder act, would you? I seriously could not care less. Now sit tight while I get my buddy, officer Jenkins, to come pick you up. You are going to have so much fun in the county jail." said Max
"Then you leave me no choice." Jess pull out her walkie-talkie and pretend you're contacting someone...
"Hello? Chief of Police? Yeah, it's Jess reporting in. I've got definite proof your officers are doing personal favors for the Warren family!"
"Wh... what?" Max asked in confusion
"Sending me in undercover to prove it was a bold play, Chief, but it worked!" said Jess
"Wait! No! What are you talking about? Give me that walkie-talkie!"
Jess throw her walkie-talkie into some bushes! Max dives for it... giving you the window to sprint away!
"Hey, wait a minute... Get back here!" Max yelled
Jess run as hard as she can with Max in hot pursuit! Right in front of you, Julian throws open his car door! Max almost grabs you, but you dive in just in time! "Go go go!"
Julian steps on the gas, and the car drives off, leaving Max in its dust!
"NOOOOO!" Max screamed
"Yesssss! Awesome! Totally awesome!" said Julian
Max yelled at the officer. "I saw Jess and her loser friend trespassing. Wes is helping them coming up with these scheme I know that loner guy."
'Bro unless there's proof they broke in we can't make any arrest.' the police left
"I saw them." Max grits angrily
Later, Jess regroup with all her friends back at school
"Amazing work, everyone. I've pulled a lot of heists in my day... but that was by far the best. Team Pom-Poms, great work on the decoy. You were more convincing than most actual cheerleaders." said Wes
"Yeah, yeah, you did pretty good too, Eagle-Eye. And we couldn't have done it without Team Strikeforce." said Julian
"And you guys got the transcripts off Mr. Georgette's computer, I'm going to review them." Wes sits alone at Slacker Hangout
"Well? Are the transcripts good evidence?" Jess asked
"Not only do these transcripts prove that students have been paying for good grades, they link the corruption directly to Principal Warren!" said Wes
"So what happens now?" Jess asked
"I reached out to the School Board members. The only one willing to talk was Professor Edwin. She's coming by this afternoon. I'll show her these transcripts, and then she'll lay the mother of all smackdowns on Hearst High!" said Wes
"Um... no offense, Wes, you're great at what you do... but when it comes to presenting the evidence, maybe we could use someone with a little more... you know..." said Jess
"Presentability?"
"Unless you want Payton to give you a makeover."
"No way!! I'll pass."
"I'm sure there are some people around here who can pull it off."
The next day Professor Edwin arrives at school Jessica and Brandon are there dressed sharp to greet her.
"Professor Edwin! Thank you so much for coming out to meet us!" Jessica shakes her hand
"I'm a busy woman, so don't waste my time. After what happened at your disastrous science fair, you should be lucky I'm here at all." said Professor Edwin
"Of course. We'll keep this fast and professional." said Brandon
"Much appreciated. Now what is it you've found?" Professor Edwin asked
"We've managed to get our hands on some information that you absolutely must see." said Brandon
"It proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, a tangled conspiracy of corruption and fraud in Hearst High." said Jessica
"A conspiracy that goes all the way to the top!" said Brandon
Jessica and Brandon show the transcripts to Professor Edwin. She reviews them diligently. "This is... incredibly troubling. I'm not even going to ask how you got your hands on it."
"That's probably for the best." said Jessica
"I'd long suspected there was something suspicious occurring at Hearst... but I never imagined it was this flagrant or sweeping. I'll need to present a copy of this to the rest of the School Board. I can't promise you they'll act on it... but I'll do my best." Professor Edwin leaves.
"Well? What do we do now?" Brandon asked
"The only thing we can do. We wait." said Jess
"The good new we threw the wildest party everyone had a blast. The bad news is the police came over to my house the party ended." Brianna frowned
"And then, Julian was all like, 'I sure am a cheerleader! I love yelling and flipping and-'" Payton was cut off by Jess
"Sorry to interrupt, Payton, but it looks like Professor Edwin is on the local news!" said Jess
Everyone gathers around the TV, where Edwin is talking. "Saddened to report that an anonymous tip has revealed significant corruption, favoritism, and bullying at Hearst High. The School Board has gone over the information and decided to place Hearst High under review. Independent monitors will be placed within the school to closely review all academic exchanges, as well as look out for bullying or harassment. In addition, Principal Warren has been suspended."
"In other words... The mother of all smackdowns!" said Wes
Jess and all her friends cheer!
"I think it's safe to say that the Warren family's reign of terror is over." said Wes
"I wouldn't be so sure." Jess hold up her phone. On it is a text from Max: 'Jess, We need to talk. I'm coming to you.'
"What could be want?" Payton asked
"No way he's going to try anything, not with this much attention on Hearst." said Wes
"Look, he's coming here, so I'll hear what he has to say. But don't worry. I'll have my friends with me."
Jess, Payton, and Julian head out to the edge of school. Max's car swings around a corner and pulls into the parking lot. He slams his door and stomps over to you, his face a mask of fury. Kara follows after him. "You! You got my dad suspended!"
"Oh, I think your dad got himself suspended." said Jess
"You know, with the whole cheating and corruption and favoritism and all." said Payton
"You think you're sooooo clever, don't you? Breaking into our school, hacking Mr. Georgette's computer, giving the tip to Professor Edwin. Wes help you with the scheme I know that loner guy and you loser wouldn't be smart enough to come up with that plan." said Max
"Do you have any proof of those claims? Because that sounds like a whole lot of speculation." Jess taunted
"I saw you there!" Max lunges forward... but Kara stops him!
"Max, no! Hearst High is under review already! If you do anything now, we'll just get in more trouble!" said Kara
Max exhales, cracking his knuckles. "She's right. I can't do anything now. But just because you won this battle doesn't mean you won the war. Hearst High WILL return. My dad WILL get reinstated. And when he does, you are going to wish you never messed with us."
Max and Kara turn to walk off. Jess let him go!
"You're just going to let him walk off like that?" Julian asked
"We've won. We've beaten him. There's no glory in kicking a dog when it's down." said Jess
"Is that, like, a wise, ancient saying?" Payton asked
"No, I just kind of made it up on the spot. But hey, the message stands, right?" Jess asked
"Right! All Max has is empty threats. Even he knows we've won." Julian cheered
"Now let's go back and celebrate! PARTAY!!!" Payton cheered rushes off to plan a party, Jess and Julian chuckled
Back at school, Payton throws a pool party at the swimming pool inviting the whole school, everyone is wearing swimsuits throw beach all at each other.
"We pulled off the ultimate caper and defeated Hearst. It's finally over. And we couldn't have done it without you, Wes." said Jess
"I'm just helping out my new school. Nothing more." said Wes
"If there's anything I can do for you in return." said Jess
"Well... there is one thing. See, it's always been my dream to pull something like this off. It's not just that it's the perfect heist. It's also for a good cause. It's kind of silly, but I always had this image in my head that when I was done, I'd stand in front of a fountain and celebrate my victory." Wes stands in front of the fountain. "Perfect."
"You did good, Wes. You ever need me to get your back, just let me know." Julian smiled at Wes
"We trust you Wes." Jess smiled at Wes
"Yeah, me too. Thanks for showing me that I could run and sneak and all that. I feel like a new man!" Nishan smiled
"And I just can't believe we're finally done with Hearst! Best news ever! Whooooo!" Payton cheered
"Mission accomplished. Achievement unlocked. GG, everyone." said Sakura
"Maybe this is the wake up call my dad needs. Something to make him finally realize how badly he's treated people." said Mia
"I always knew you'd turn this into a great school, Jess. And now, without having to worry about Hearst all the time, you can finally focus on the important things." said Autumn
"Eeee! It been so long seeing Tommy time for our next date." Payton text Tommy they chuckled.
"I can focus getting A in all my subjects midterm exams coming up, I love studying." Nishan and Sakura held hands went to the library to study together as a couple quiz each other giggling.
"They make a cute couple." Payton smiles
