Author's Note: The remainder of the story will be a lot different from the previous chapters. There won't be anymore flashbacks. The next chapters will be on characters coping with Snow White's death. There's going to be a lot of focus toward the relationship between Regina and David. Also, there's going to be a little on Killian and Emma's relationship as well. Hope y'all enjoy the rest of the story. And thank you for all the comments! I really appreciate every one of them!

One week after Snow White's death:

Practically the whole town showed for Snow White's funeral. It was very gloomy that day. The only thing they heard was the sound of rain and thunder.

David was holding Neal's hand as the toddler silently stood by his father. Regina was beside David and on the other side of her was Henry. Emma and Killian were side by side next to Henry.

Emma Swan now spoke to break the silence. "She was Mary Margaret. She was Snow White. She was my mom. She loved us so much, all of us." She told them in a loud voice. After a long pause, she couldn't even get the words out because she felt as if she couldn't speak. "I- I can't do this." David Nolan looked up to see his daughter running away from the crowd.

David stood there silently until he finally spoke. "My wife- she always spoke of hope and now she's gone." Prince Charming could not even get the words out himself ether. Oh Snow. I miss you so much. You didn't deserved this. You didn't deserve to hurt the way you did. He thought.

Regina stepped in when Charming couldn't utter another word because of the grief. "She always spoke and showed me hope. She always had hope in diffucult moments like these." She spoke with her voice breaking. "She never gave up on me. She defeated me. She defeated me by making me her friend. She loved me when I didn't deserve it. I deserved death but she believed in me." She sighed. "I'd tried killing her countless times. I did horrible things to her. But yet, she loved me and forgave me." She wiped her tears as she looked at David with compassion and then peered at Henry. She found her son slowly embracing and hugging her. After they separated the hug, she continued. "She died because she couldn't handle her life anymore. She was tortured. She went through horrible experiences no one should go through, especially not her. I'm sorry, Snow. I wasn't there for you like you were there for me." Regina said staring at her grave, trying her best to hold back the tears.

Then, gradually people started leaving the area. Eventually, David, Henry, Neal, and Regina were the only ones still there. "I'm glad Jefferson is dead. I just wish he could have suffered far worse." David said. That man needed to suffer for the pain he caused!

Regina was shocked; she never saw David that angry. She had seen this anger before, in herself. She never could imagine Charming feeling the way she did. The death of a loved one would change someone but she didn't know it would be Charming. She recognized that desire before in herself. The revenge of wanting a lost love back and doing anything to get justice, which only resulted in taking revenge on who wronged them.

Her voice started to break. "You don't mean that, David." She replied, hoping that the next words would be more comforting than cold.

"I do mean it."

Regina sighed as she told Henry. "Take Neal to David's truck. We'll meet up with you later."

Henry nodded as he took the little boy's hand and assorted him away.

After the two left, David said. "That man destroyed this family! He destroyed all of us!"

Regina explained. "Don't blame the Mad Hatter. I was the one who destroyed everyone. I'm the one who should suffer. I should have never split myself with that serum; because of that the Evil Queen existed again and because of that Jefferson lost his daughter. That was the cause of all this. It was all my fault."

He gazed back at her. "No, this isn't your fault. Don't blame yourself." Regina couldn't get any more words out because of the feeling in her throat. The two stood close to one another as they stared at Snow's grave in grief.
