The next day, Shiloh woke up, ready for his first day.
"Good morning, sleepyhead." Luke says to Shiloh. "Ready for your first day of pre-K?"
He nods, rubbing his eyes.
"First order of business? Breakfast! Mom's making some delicious waffles!" Luke says.
"Blueberry?" Shiloh asked.
"Yes!" Luke says, nodding excitedly.
"Yay! Blueberry waffles!" Shiloh says as Luke carries him downstairs.
Sharon was getting Shelby dressed for her first day of kindergarten at Royal Woods Elementary.
"How are you feeling?" Sharon asked Shelby.
"I'm a bit nervous." she says.
"Why is that, sweetie?" Sharon asked.
"I don't know any of the kids, Mom…" Shelby says.
"They'll love you, sweetie. And you're going to make so many new friends." Sharon reassures her.
Shane looks for his perfect outfit to wear on his first day at Oakley Academy.
"I made this for you!" Leni says.
"Oooh, what is it?" Shane asked.
It was an Oakley Academy uniform fit for a guy of Shane's caliber. Shane grinned.
He turned on his newest song "Watch Me Work" as he got dressed and did his hair.
Soon, everyone was eating.
"You gotta work hard…To make it look easy! You gotta live fast…To keep makin' that money! If you want to be as famous as me…You gotta work, gotta work, gotta work! Watch me work!" Shane sang, making quite the entrance to the breakfast table.
Everyone clapped as Shane smiled.
"Must be quite the hit you have there, son." Lance says to Shane.
"It got nominated for a Song Of The Year Grammy already…" Shane says.
After breakfast…
"Okay, I'm going to show you my school." Luke says to Shane.
Shiloh finished as Sharon had cleaned his face.
"Come on, Shiloh." Lynn says. Shiloh holds Lynn's hand.
Lance takes Shelby to her school.
At Oakley Academy, upon Luke and Shane's arrival, girls were screaming upon seeing Shane.
"Eeeee! It's Shane Loud!" One girl says.
"Ahhhh! He's so cute!" Another girl says.
Shane blushed a bit as Luke just smiled. He knew Shane was going to fit right in.
Shane was crowded a lot, but girls adored him. He wasn't crowded during most of his classes, however.
Emma sees Shiloh in her class. Shiloh was playing with the big blocks.
"Hi." Emma says.
"Hi!" Shiloh says.
They began to play together.
Shelby played by herself in Ms. Shrinivas' class. She felt alone.
Two girls came in. One had pink hair and the other had orange hair done up in pigtails.
"Hello, everyone!" they say and noticed Shelby was alone.
"Hey, you OK?" Kat asked.
"No…nobody will play with me…" Shelby sniffed.
"We'll play with you. I'm Kat and that's my twin sister, Ana." Kat says.
"I'm Shelby." Shelby says.
"We know. Heck, we got trampled by your brother's fan girls on the way here." Kat says and notices Ana looking down.
"Come on, Ana, cheer up." Kat said.
"Okay, I just miss them." Ana sniffed. Kat plays with Shelby.
With Shane, he was checking out the glee club before lunch.
He looks around and smiles when the music teacher, Mr. Cartwright, asks him to try out for him.
"Okay, I will." Shane says.
"Any song will do." Mr. Cartwright says.
Shane sang "Somebody To Love" by Queen as everyone loved it.
Meanwhile, Kat and Ana played and tossed a ball outside, but Kat accidentally kicked it way too high as it Landed in a tree
"Our ball!" Ana says as Kat did some flips and climbed up the tree and caught it and noticed Shelby. "You think we can meet your brother?" Kat asked.
"After school." Shelby says.
During lunch, Shelby noticed they were eating a lot of ramen, then she decided to start spinning before she ate.
"What is she doing?" Kat asked.
"I think it looks cool." Ana says.
"Yeah, well, watch this!" Kat says and spun around, not aware Shelby was thinking and thought it was a game.
Shelby bumped into Kat as everyone gasped. Shelby then fell and cried.
"Did I win or did I get a prize?" Kat asked, dizzy.
Shelby was sobbing as Ms. Shrinivas went to help her up.
With Shiloh, he was with Emma, eating his Nutella sandwich and crunchy Cheetos on the side. Emma missed her mom. She tears up.
"I miss my mommy!" she says.
With Shane at lunch, Colleen invited Brandy to their table.
"So, the final school play is in March. Who's trying out?" Colleen asked.
"Oooh! What play is it?!" Shane asks excitedly.
"Romeo & Juliet." Colleen says as Brandy raises his hand.
"Count me out." Shane says and leaves the table.
"Does he hate romance?" Colleen asked.
"He's done romance plays before and likes Shakespeare. But he never got the lead in a lot of his old plays until he was in 9th grade." Luke says as Shane ate alone.
"I wanna be in a lead role for once." Brandy says.
After school, Shelby was waiting for Charity's limo or her mom. It happened to be Charity's limo. Sharon was going to pick Shiloh up from school.
Shane was riding the Oakley Academy bus home with Luke and Oliver. He put his headphones on and ignored everyone and everything around him, just to get some peace and quiet.
They arrive home. "It's official, he's not like me." Luke says, noticing how Shane was feeling after his first day at a new school.
"Eeeee! It's Shane Loud!" Kat and Ana say, coming out of boxes. Shane was surprised. He then smiled.
"Can we get autographs?" They asked. Shane smiled and signed some for them.
Luke and Oliver soon met up, looking over the plans for Shane's Sweet 16. It was going to be big. Luke showed Oliver the banners he ordered with Shane striking many different stage poses.
"Cool!" Oliver says. "What will the cake look like?"
"It's gonna be a cake sculpture of Shane on the Broadway stage." Luke says.
Oliver thinks about his own birthday. His mom wasn't going to be around. But was he worried about it as much anymore? Not really. He was going to be gaining a lot more now that his dad will possibly go through with the divorce.
"You made friends?" Lola asked Shelby. Shelby nodded.
Kat and Ana wave.
"What's a Sweet 16?" Kat asked Shelby.
She explained as Ana began to tear up.
"Mona…" Ana sniffed.
"Who?" Shelby asked.
"Our friend. One epic cheerleader." Kat says.
Shiloh came home. He bounced up to Luke's room.
"There's Shiloh!" Luke smiled and scooped him up. "How was your first day?"
He explained and blushed, thinking of Emma.
"My, my, you have a crush!" Luke says. Shiloh looks away, a little embarrassed.
"It's okay." Luke says.
Shane was quiet at dinner that night. And this worried Lance and Sharon. Shane was normally very vocal during mealtimes.
"Oh, then there's Penny, she's a nerd, but wants to be a pop singer. Oh, then there's Jimmy T who loves dancing…" Kat rambles.
"Bro?" Shelby asked.
"I HATE MY NEW SCHOOL, OKAY?!" Shane says, stomping up to his room.
"Luke, what did you do?" Luna asked.
"Wait, you're Luke Huntington, oh, my God!" Kat and Ana squealed, just realizing.
Sharon came up to Shane's room.
"Honey, are you all right?" Sharon asked, sitting on the bed with her son. "Do you want to talk about it?"
He explained about his day, aside from the fans seeing him.
"A romance play?" Sharon says.
"I will not perform in a play of that genre! I've seen too much of it!" Shane screamed.
"I know. romance plays suck." Lana says offscreen.
"No one is for- is Luke pressuring you?" Sharon asked.
"That dumb Colleen is pushing her boyfriend into playing the lead! She had the nerve to mention that in front of me! To someone who couldn't have the lead role at all. Since middle school!" Shane cried.
"I'll talk to your principal tomorrow." Charity says. "I think she wanted it to be a romance play because of her overzealous crush on Brandy. I know that much."
"If there is one thing Brandy, Randy, and Oliver agree on, it's that they hate romance films and plays. They claim it's all too predictable." Luke says.
"I'll never act or sing again!" Shane cried. Shelby held him.
"Honey, you're a star. You don't need a school play to show it." Sharon tells Shane.
A few days later, Colleen was confronted about her play choice. And how she made a new student feel alone and miserable on their first day. She felt awful.
"I say we choose The Twilight Zone." Brandy says.
"Why? So Shane can feel more isolated from everyone in this school? Sure. Let's do it." Garrett says.
Shane wore hoodies to school now, covering his face. He no longer vocalized during lunch.
"I hate it here!" Shane screamed. "I will always hate it here at Oakley!"
"What play do you want to do?" Luke asked. He would make sure they only did what Shane wanted.
"No one's ever asked me that before." Shane sniffed.
"You can suggest what plays you want. I thought it was up to the drama tea- shut it, Brandy." Remy says, pushing him away from the group as Brandy sighed.
"Colleen, this all happened because he came to Royal Woods. You need to forget him." Remy says.
"And I'll make sure you have a good role." Luke says.
Everyone glared at Luke. "Fine, the lead role." Luke says.
"Tomorrow is my anniversary. You all better not forget it." Luke hissed, feeling like Shane's attention will steal his spotlight. But Charity was watching from afar, and she was displeased with Luke's behavior.
"Oh, Shane, I forgot to tell you, Luke loves days about him. He once tried to kill Lucy because she messed up. He's really scary in December and January." Lynn says
"THEN MY BIRTHDAY IS OFF! DO YOU HEAR ME?!" Shane screamed as he left the school.
"That wasn't nice, Luke!" Ana says as she was in a garbage can.
"GO AWAY!" Luke screamed as Charity got a good hold on him.
"I think you better take some time to listen to people when they have things to say. If you scream at them, you will be in huge trouble." Charity says sternly, having had enough of Luke's attitude problems.
"Um, I think we should run." Ana says
"Ana, ninjas never run in the face of danger." Kat says.
"I thought we weren't supposed to reveal our secrets…" Ana says.
"That was before those Louds took our stuff when we were sleeping. We'll tell Luke what we have to say and die trying. Ninjas die with honor." Kat says.
"We're babies!" Ana says.
"We're technically in kinderga- never mind. Luke, honestly I think your kind of a spoiled brat. You always claim to have an event on your siblings' birthdays and they accept it when you go, but when it's your day and one of them has an event, you have a hissy fit, not to mention you complain at little mistakes when your siblings do try and give you a party." Kat says.
"That was brave. I think I wet my pants…" Ana says.
"Okay, let's head back, we were never here." Kat says and tossed a smoke bomb.
Shane cried, away from the school. Kat and Ana ran into him. "Gangway, life or death situation!" they shouted and ran.
Shane sobbed under a tree as Luna found him. She saw the hurt in Shane's eyes.
Meanwhile, Emma was thinking about Skylia's birthday and was trying to draw a card at school, unaware Shiloh was looking at her as he had drawn a picture of Shane.
With Shelby, she felt alone since her new friends left. Just then Kat and Ana ran in.
"He's going to kill us!" Kat and Ana screamed and hid.
Luna sat next to Shane.
"What happened?" Luna asked. Shane explained that Luke ruined his 16th birthday before it even started. That upset Luna. She didn't think Luke would hurt Shane this way. After all he was doing to make him feel welcome at Oakley.
"I should have known Luke would do this. It's always his events before people. I'm actually scared for Lucy. He promised he'd never hurt her, but he did it just because she was born before him. Now he wants you hurt for being born a day after his anniversary. That's wrong. I'm going to talk to Luke and Lucy will plan your swe-never mind. Mom and Leni know you more than Lucy." Luna says.
At the manor after school, Charity was tearing into Luke, and for once, he had no choice but to listen, because Sharon was just as angry when she screamed at Luke after Charity was done.
Luke was soon silent. He had nothing to say.
"And you can forget about your anniversary celebration tomorrow, young man. You have a lot to think about." Charity says sternly.
Luke nods, ashamed of his actions.
