Naruto 9

As the months passed Tobirama, Jiraiya and Kakashi each took their roll seriously but they found the abuse and betrayal of Naruto went deep within the roots of the city. Dealing with and gaining evidence of such decrepit behavior took the forefront of their immediate protection of Naruto. The three of them took turns watching Naruto so that they could all infiltrate and investigate the underground machinations of Konoha. Keeping such evidence on hand was suicidal so they sent as much as they could to their respective summons realms. On top of their research, raising and training Naruto; the men subjected themselves (forcefully) to therapy with Inoichi Yamanaka (as well as clueing him and Shikaku in about the illegal activities of Root) and sent out letter after letter to retrieve one Tsunade Senju.

An irate Tsunade Senju stormed through the gates of Konoha with such force the gate guards were trampled in her wake and one of the gates was off its hinges.

Shizune apologetically handed one of the guards she helped up their papers and held Ton-ton in the other arm as it oinked. "Sorry Lady Tsunade is in a bit of a rush." The two guards sweat-dropped and ushered her through. She followed the path of destruction her master left all the way to the Hokage tower where she could hear Tsunade yelling from floors down of the Hokage's office.

"Sarutobi is this some kind of sick joke?! Recalling me because my grandson was found? I didn't have any kids, I'm pretty sure I would know! On top of that saying my grand-uncle was brought back by said child?! I don't know what you are smoking old man but it has warped your mind! This is sick, disgusting and sick and I will NOT tolerate it." Shizune clutched Ton-ton tighter to her as a desk flew through the door she was walking towards and smashed into the wall. A tiny whimper was barely heard through the yelling and she saw a small boy crouched on the other side of where the desk had hit. How she, or Tsunade, hadn't noticed him sooner was unclear but taking her low-key job serious she marched into the office and grabbed Tsunade by the ear and drug her to the small boy.

"You almost hit a kid with the desk, apologize" Tsunade balked at her and tried to remove her apprentice's hand from her ear.

"Yes, I would like an apology to my heir for this incident at minimum." Both women froze and looked over to see Tobirama Senju standing with crossed arms in front of the shaking boy. His little arms were wrapped around Tobirama's legs as he clung as tightly as possible and buried his face in the man's legs.

Tsunade tried dispelling whatever genjutsu was taking place and then attempted to strike him when that didn't work. She was blocked, redirected and chided in the same manner that her grand-uncle had done to her when she was little and caught doing something she shouldn't have. "It is indeed him, Tsunade- Chan" Hiruzen said as he approached them from his office "and the little boy is the child in question. Why don't we wait for Jiraiya to get back and meet at the compound tonight to go over what we found?"

Tsunade was walking through the village with Shizune and TonTon, well aware of the little blonde shadow that was stalking her with curious eyes and a slight tilt to his head when she would stop and inspect items in the market. She was at a fruit stall inspecting some foreign fruits that were imported from the Land of Tea when he finally approached within arms reach. She spun around and grabbed him up, forcing him to eye-level, before addressing him. "What do you want kid?" The boys eyes were wide and he looked at the strange fruit she was still holding in her hand.

"What that Baa-Chan?" Tsunade blinked slowly.

"Don't call me that. It's a star fruit." She began lowering him to set him down.

"Ah shoo you! I'm so sorry for that THING bothering you Tsunade-sama. Scram! You aren't welcome at my booth you de—" the angry vendor disappeared and a grey-haired shinobi stood in his place. His headband covering his left eye and face mask covering the lower half of his face.

"So, sorry for this inconvenience Tsunade-sama but this is currently closed for inspection. He muttered before turning to Naruto. "Naru-Chan, would you like to try a star fruit pup? " Naruto peeked around the table, trying to find the man but he was just gone. He looked back up at Kakashi and nodded enthusiastically.

Snack in hand, along with a couple more fruits Kakashi took, and Kakashi's hand in the other. He kept looking over his shoulder at Tsunade. She was walking to the Senju compound and analyzing the boy in front of her.

When they came to the gates they stopped and Naruto but his finger enough for a small amount of blood to come out and after applying it to the gates they opened and the seal released. She followed silently in and saw her grand-uncle sitting in one of the offices and Kakashi took Naruto to the kitchen where he sliced up the starfruit and as soon as seeds were visible Naruto took a couple and ran out back to the gardens. Tsunade paused before Tobirama called out "he took them to the garden, you'll want to see this."

Tsunade and Shizune walked out back and saw Naruto digging two holes and chucking the seeds in before covering them up and standing back and making a hand seal. Two sprouts immediately breached the surface of the dirt and became two 20 feet tall trees. Tsunade fell to her knees. As soon as she hit the ground Naruto was over and it took her minute to realize that the boy was leading her through breathing exercises.

"Okay Baa-Chan?" A small chubby hand patted her cheek. She nodded and her hand came up to cover his.

"Thank you, Naruto."

Jiraiya stood with his arms crossed looking at the touching scene, Kakashi next to him holding a small plate of cut up star fruit. "He's gonna have her wrapped around his finger by the end of the day." Kakashi shook his head before responding.

"Bet he already has."
