The sound of the bell ringing announced that anyone who entered the academy now would be punished for being late.

Everything that was happening now was like an uneasy dream, the kind that a person gets after they wake up from a nightmare and go back to sleep.

They couldn't remember the nightmare but they could still feel its effects.

The traditional form of combat that both the Ninja and the Samurai used was severely flawed by the excessive use of firearms that the Earth had deployed over and over again.

While it was true that his shinobi were far superior to anyone from Earth, what good was it if they couldn't close the distance, then there was the Earth's careless use of bombs.

If they ran into a summon, or a shinobi that they couldn't hurt they would bombard the surrounding area regardless of who or what was there, they made the area so toxic that it didn't matter if the shinobi lived through the attack.

The ninja would be so heavily affected by the attack that just being around him poisoned everyone around him forcing the ninja to either seek more help, which would spread the poison, or force them to isolate themselves so that they wouldn't kill their allies.

There were parts of the world that were so radiated or toxic that no one knew if they would ever be liveable again.

More than once the medical-nin were forced to turn these people away because saving them meant that they would end up infecting anyone else that they treated.

Even Tsunade who was the best doctor in the world was forced to let people die because of the strange things that the earth used to attack people d.n.a.

"Don't you think that it's a good thing that they are gone?"

"Maybe they were traitors and were just given to the side that they wanted to be in?"

"Sakura would never do that!, how could she, she never was anywhere near the battlefield so how could she ever meet anyone from Earth?!"

He listened to a group of children talk about the people who were sent away.

He had made sure that everyone in the village knew why several of their people were sent to Earth, and while he knew that many wouldn't accept his reason as anything completely true he didn't expect people to start considering them to be traitors.

He began to separate the meaningless chatter and focused on the conversations that he wanted to hear, it was worse than he imagined.

It wasn't just the children, several of the adults were saying the same thing, for whatever reason the people in the village now believed that those who were sent away were traitors.

In a way, that was true because eventually, those same people would be enemies of their village, but at the moment they were just another group of victims.

...Change The Lost Mountain."

'So this is a gun." Sakura says as she holds the strange metal weapon.

"I wouldn't have allowed you to hold it if it was loaded." the village leader says t to Sakura as Hinata looks at the pair who seem to have grown closer.

"The two of you need to know that we have several forms of combat here, but we mainly focus on killing our enemies before they manage to get close to us.'

"To do this we use, guns traps, and spells,it'ss no mystery that our bodies are naturally weaker than the people from your world, so we were forced to quickly figure out how to stop ourselves from dying."

"The first let me say that just like learning how to hurt your enemies before they can hurt you is just as hard as using any form of defense or counter or evasion."

"For example, this is a magic circle." the village leader says to them.

Hinata doesn't say anything as she looks at the flat blue circle that floats over the village leader's hand, she can see the runes that seem to pulse with power and notices that after a moment the runes begin to change.

'Depending on how skilled the user is a person can change from one spell to another with hardly any effort.

"With that said the spellcasters can be separated into three groups, those who can cast a spell without having to say anything, people who have to say the spell's name, and people who need to chant the entire spell for it to work."

Hinata didn't say anything as she looked at the magic circle, she couldn't believe how the spell or were they spells were so different from each other.

The first magic circle that the village leader created, was powered by the village leader's energy, but when the circle turned red it took its power from the world around him.

When it turned yellow its power was from both the village leader and the world around him.

"Naturally a person can't just use multiple spells at once and while it is possible no one recommends it." the village leader says to them.

"Why?' Hinata asks him, and doesn't great to the village leader who turns to look at her.

"Because no matter how good our memories are, we could forget a spell that we had prepared but and no longer needed, so the danger of us using it when we don't need it anymore is incredibly high."

"Imagine that you are about to cast a fire spell, but your opponent forces you to use a speed spell because he managed to reach before you could use the spell."

"So he starts chasing you and eventually he catches up to you and forces you to use both a power spell and a strengthening spell so that you can survive his attack"

"The two of you fight and you manage to win, What happened to the fire spell that you were about to use?" he asks her.

"Do does, doesn't it just vanish?" she asks him.

"No because you already gave it the energy it needed, and so it's just waiting for you to say the word and once you say it it will activate no matter where you are.' he says to her.

"To work around this our clothes now have defensive spells weaved into them." he says to her and Sakura as he shows them the magic circles that were inside of the shirt that he was wearing.

"I said that there were several ways of fighting so let's move on to the next one.

"Guns are powerful equalizers, but they're useless if you can't hit your target. Not only that but they are loud and give away your location." he says to them as he takes the gun away from Sakura.

"So then why use them?" Sakura asks him.

"Because despite those drawbacks, a group of armed men has a high chance of killing a large group of trained ninjas."

"And because we can mix our spells into the bullets making it nearly impossible for our opponents to know what we are attacking them with." he answers Sakura.

"Finally we have hand-to-hand combat."

"It's impossible to keep everyone away so we learned to strengthen our bodies so that we didn't just die when someone hits us."

"We do this by wearing clothes that add to our strength, and speed and increase our healing ability."

"We can cast spells on ourselves to strengthen our bodies and finally we can use a weapon that only works for us and makes us far stronger than we ever could be." he explains to them.

Hinat doesn't say anything as the village leader smiles and looks at the two of them.

"Now that I think about it we do have one more way of defending ourselves but that one is separated in several forms." he says to them before pointing at the two of them.

"The people from your world help train each other, regardless if they are adults or not and they even teach us how all of you can do what you do." he says to them.

'Why?' She and Sakura ask the Village Leader.

"Because you should learn how to use chakra and everything that comes with it so that they can protect the village and its people when the time comes." he answers them.
