Part 4 - Meeting Kim's Family

An hour later, the doorbell rang, and Kim ran to answer as she knew it was her family coming over for the dinner, and it made Hermione smile at her apparent joy to see it was her family, as she seemed to be very close to her parents and siblings, and it warmed Hermione's heart, that Jared imprinted on such great girl who had a great head on her shoulders and knew where her heart and head laid when it came to family and friends, and now Jared too in her life.

Hermione could only wishfully think she would love to have that too one day of course. But for now, she had no rush for it either.

Kim soon came back, with her was her family, who was her parents, and 2 siblings, younger than herself was, and Hermione smiled as she presented herself to them all, getting to know that Kim's parents names' were Jennie and Andrew Connweller, and her siblings names' was Natalie and Jason. Natalie was 13, while Jason was just 9 years old, but he was the most happy person, as he was exicted to know that Jared the hero in his life, had a cousin that was so beautiful, and he said so. Hermione blushed but thanked him for being such a kind boy for his words.

He just giggled and left while yelling Jared's name, Hermione giggled after him, being happy to see how happy and cute he really was, Kim said sorry, and Hermione said

"No it is ok, he is really sweet and cute boy for sure. So kind."

At that everyone just chuckled, but the parents' just smiled at her, and thanked her for being kind too, and Hermione told them that they must done something right with his upbringing to be so kind and sweet to anyone even if they are strangers to him. It made the parents' quite proud of their son, and so was the Camerons'.

Soon the food was served, and they sat down, and just talked about everything and nothing really. Hermione got to know Kim's family really well, and she also told Natalie, Kim's little sister that if she need any help with her school work, she was more than happy to help her out. Natalie nodded and smiled at Hermione for her help to come.

The parents' just smiled and her aunt and uncle knew how great she was as both student and as a teacher to help others with their homeworks or school things overall.

After the dinner, they went into the living room, Jared excused himself, and Kim's mother said

"Just be careful out there, J. See you later or tomorrow."

He grinned before he left running through the door. Kim's mother Jennie then said

"Sorry about that, his work is quite good." Hermione smiled, and said

"I know about his abilities, Mrs Connweller, I have known since young child and semi-lived here with my parents."

Jennie ohhed while her husband said

"How do you know about us?" Hermione looked at her aunt and uncle, who just nodded and smiled at her, that it was ok to tell them, and she then turned to the man, Andrew, and said

"I am a witch, Mr Connweller. I grew up later in England, and it was there I found out about my abilities that I clearly had shown since being a baby, was nothing more than my magical abilities, and I was told that I was considerated as a Muggle-Born or No-Maj that they here in US call us by, the ones who has non-magical parents, and you get magical powers from the lines in each family that your parents comes from. For me, my dad, and auntie here, they came from the Dagworth-Granger line, and on my mother's side, I came from the long line of the Ravenclaw's one of the houses at my school, Hogwarts. I went there from age 11 up to last year, before the war broke out in our world. We just won it, with some losses and pain, but I am alive at least."

At that they were in shock, but they listen on the rest of the story of her life as magical being, and a woman in that backward world that they still were stuck in somewhat in 1800-1900's to this day.

"My god, you have been through alot, and that you survived it, it is a miracle. But where is your parents' at?"

Hermione told them what had happened with them, and they were in shock but also saddened to hear how they had died, and that she had made it through with help of true friends and people she could call family back in England.

Either way, after that the evening continued in its good way, and lots of laugther and whatnot. Jared showed up near the end of it, pretty tired, but hungry again, so Hermione just chuckled and told him that there was some leftovers in the fridge for him to eat of. The rest was for tomorrow. He just thanked her, kissed Kim before she with her family left for the night.

Soon after that they all went to bed, as Jared wanted to introduce Hermione to the others of his pack and the tribal elders tomorrow at their usual meeting at the council hall, and that was something Hermione had no issues with either.
