I do not own Cyberpunk 2077, just an avid game fan and Judy stan.

RATED M for MATURE.

I'm currently writing CHP 9 already as we speak. Me and my beta writer are full-time college students. Her being a much better student than me she has been unable to catch up. I'm just going to keep the ball rolling and upload it whenever she is available to proof it! Hope you understand!

Double doors spun into focus as both of my hands- my trusty power pistol gripped in my left silver cybernetic arm- pushed them open at the same time to a dark hallway.

"Heeeeyy," a gorgeous blonde-haired groupie catcalled, leaning against the wall with her chest out in a 'burn corpo shit!' muscle tank. I looked around, walking past her, before stopping dramatically and giving her a sideward glance, "Hey."

"You all right?"

"Never been better," I affirmed.

"Sure don't look it…" she looked away, "You look like shit."

Well fuck you too, shit-stain.

I kept walking without another glance, hearing my music thumping.

They're playing without me!

I marched to the backstage doors, gripping my pistol tighter.

Hatred burned relentlessly in my gut with every step, every inch.

"I can't you let you on!" Martin Tin looked down noticing my pistol, "Hey, hey, we're chill!" he backtracked.

I grabbed him by his shirt and slammed him against a full-body mirror hanging on the nearby wall.

But I'm not me… I'm a man.

Fuckin' try to stop me. My band. My stage. My song.

I pushed off of him, opening the doors.

The Mohawk muscled bouncer standing by the stage stepped aside, "Heh...'course you're high."

Damn straight. Gotta get high just to deal with you fuckers, hell…to get by in night city.

I marched the steps of the stage as Kerry sang on my mic with my song while playing bass "… Chippin' in…chippin' in!"

You brainless sheep don't give a fuck that our city is ruined. How can you even convey that in my song? Can't even hit my notes on your bass. I'm the one that made you big.

Kerry saw me and immediately stopped playing, the last note stringing off in the air, seeing the pistol next he continued to step back from the mic.

Pussy bitch. Suck my cock.

I grabbed the mic with my pistol in hand adjusting it to its proper place. My other hand shaking, I grasped the mic fiercely with both hands now, as I addressed the crowd. Lights hot but all on me, blinding any visuals.

"Tonight I'm…" I hesitated and leaned into the mic further attempting to look around at the crowd. "I'm here to say goodbye to all of you."

The crowd cheered like this was a touching moment.

I hate every single one of you, sheep rebels. It's time to let this animal inside me loose.

I pulled up my own bass guitar from its strap around me and took a wild strum for a tune check before I addressed the mic restarting chippin' in the proper way this time.

I tried to pour my rage harmoniously into the metal strings and music. Releasing whatever I could into the crowd.

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go!

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go!

My soul invaded vital force

Won't spare what I'm hunting for

It's the animal within my blood

Wouldn't stop it, if I could

Seed is sown, I'm chippin' in

Roll the bones, I'm chippin' in

Embed the code, I'm chippin' in

Mayhem flows!

Not backing down

Never backing down

Not backing down

Yeah!

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go

Yeah!

Suits run when I come undone

Can't kill me, I'm zero and one

Add justice to the people's math

Blaze your way down the rebel path

Hear my call, I'm chippin' in

Total war, I'm chippin' in

Casings fall, I'm chippin' in

Kill them all

Not backing down

Never backing down

Uh

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go

Yeah- Yeah -Yeah! Oh, yeah!

Come on!

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go

C-can you feel it?

Can you touch it?

Get ready 'cause here we go.

When it was all said and done, I didn't feel any better. I still wanted Night City- my home to burn.

I quickly lit and took a long drag of a cigarette backstage in the Hammer.

Some groupies decked out in Samurai band merch casually sat nearby, "Money is money, can't fuck around with it," One of them casually stated to their friend.

Might be the first brain cell I've heard but you're still doing nothing.

I took another puff before I stated to her, "You're wasting your lives following us around like dogs."

She scoffed, "What crawled up your ass?!"

Waste of breath..time to change this hellhole with my own hands if I gotta do it myself- so be it.

I walked off, shaking my head, and pushed on the doors that led to my ride, but before I could leave, I heard a familiar bandmate's voice.

"Johnny! Wait up!"

I saw Kerry Eurodyne running towards me with a bandana nerdily wrapped around his forehead, hair rose to Jesus.

He grabbed my arm before I could push on.

"Don't do this! You can still change your mind."

And THAT is why you'll amount to nothing. You think I can change my heart? My blood?

"Wanna see me just give up?! Sounds like something you'd do. Wanna know why? 'Cause you've always been a fuckin' pussy, Kerry!" I spat.

He shook his head at me, eyes full of hurt while dropping my arm and I continued digging, "Offer you one piece of advice," I tapped my cigarette fingers into his chest not giving a shit if any stray embers burned him, "For old times sake, stop being one."

I opened the door this time, "Time to bring on the future." I announced.

Outside it was a dark raring Night City, and there was a chopper waiting for me with a delicious output I knew very well, hands already on her hips.

She's mad, damn that makes me hot.

"You're late!" She nagged yelling over the whooshing blades.

"My op. I decide who's late and who's not," I announced. She didn't even bother with foreplay, just walked away and stood holding the opening of the chopper cab motioning "Get in. 'Fore I change my mind."

I stepped in offering a hand to her that she ignored, I gripped the handle overhead instead, "Silverhand!" A voice called in the dark cab. I couldn't see him but I recognized it.

"Heeyy Shaitan!"

"Get us in the air!" Rouge barked at the pilot and handed a headset to me. "Put this on! And it STAYS on, got it?" I obeyed.

Let's go! Anticipation pricked in my maroon rocker jeans as we lifted higher and higher. I took a few more drags on my cigarette before finishing, watching it and flicking the butt down below, watching the ember fade into the distance, and towards Kerry, who still stood watching outside The Hammer.

We were weaving through large skyscrapers that had massive projecting ads. One such said '2023 and Night City at this time didn't have as many neon lights littered around yet, not as much gore and color in the advertising, very modernized appeal sporting soldiers for the war and summer looks.'

"Piers on fire, Pacifica's cut off, shut down. APCs on the streets on Watson," Shaitan reported in the headset.

"Sons of bitches!" I swore out loud about losing Pacifica,

It's a civil war tonight, and we are gonna hit those suits at the heart.

"Skull crackin' down there?…That us?" Thompson finally spoke.

"Johnny's idea! Weylands drawing Arasaka's attention away from their tower," Rouge responded, and, as if right on cue, we could see the largest skyscraper of them all with the Arasaka emblem in our sights.

Fuckin foreigners takin' over our town.

"Collateral damage a part of the plan too?" Thompson hissed across our headsets.

"This isn't Cub Scouts Thompson, chew it up, spit it out," she defended before I could put him in place.

That's my girl.

We continued to rise towards the building to the top where a red hologram rotated 'No entry.'

"Target range acquired," Shaitan reported.

"Make it rain!" Rouge yelled.

I grasped the mounted machine gun on my side, ready to deliver some pain as I watched the soldiers and Droids scrambling below.

RAKATAKARAKATAKA

I never stopped raining hellfire, causing explosions and cries, until a stray sniper flew past me into the cab. I looked over as Shaitan dropped dead instantly.

"Johnny?! Shaitan?!" Rouge cried

"Taking cover," I announced in the headset letting her know it missed me.

RAKATAKARAKATAKA

I continued firing behind the now attached turret shield watching them drop like flies until it was empty below.

"Everybody! Jump!" The pilot exclaimed

I grabbed my bag of arsenal with ammo, ready to leap below when Rouge grabbed my shoulder from behind stopping me

"Murphy?" Rouge called,

"Found our access point, get moving," Spider Murphy replied by double-checking her own bag.

I looked at Rouge and she looked back.

"Johnny? You remember the plan?"

"Get the payload on the elevator, arm it, let gravity do its thing," I shrugged her concern off, hopping off the chopper as it was about to land.

I cocked back my powered pistol, pulling a bullet in the chamber while running with the crew,

"Explosion rocks the foundation! Tower crumbles- chaos, screaming, roll credits," I narrated further and expertly, with one swift motion, hooked with my pointer while flipping my pistol in a 360 with handle back into my palm, and reloaded.

"Exit window's gonna be tight," Rouge called as we ran down the stairs stopping at a locked door.

Murphy crouched at an electrical panel, "Jacking in!" She brought a miniature tablet next to the panel wiring it in.

"Is grass green, do birds fly, do cats eat bats, do rats shit gnats?" Spider read.

"Mainframes not your playground Murphy, come on! Do your thing!" Rouge barked, holding her pistol at the ready with both hands, "Evac announcement- broadcast it to all frequencies, and let's get movin'!"

"Sheesh, who wrote this manifesto?" Murphy ignored her.

"Really need me to answer that question?" Rouge rolled her eyes and both she and Murphy looked at me at the same time.

"Jesus! Johnny, you've gone off the deep end, and that's coming from a chairjack!"

Come on…get off my dick and open up.

Perfect timing the door finally opened and I strolled in first to the stairwell. A soldier running up slid behind the rail below taking cover.

I continued striding down to him, and when his head popped up to fire I blasted him first, splattering his brains on the wall. Continuing down the floor two more guards appeared. Me and rouge took them out quickly as we picked up the pace into a sprint with Spider in the rear. At the bottom a guard stood by the doorframe and placed me in his sights with his gun by the time I put a kill shot between his eyes, head bursting like a watermelon.

Two more guards were through the door shooting wildly but missing us, I and Roiuge took them out swiftly and went to the elevator.

"She sought it with thimbles, she sought it with care, perused it with forks and hope.." Spider mumbled at the elevator doors.

"Johnny. Payload," Rouge reminded me, unnecessarily, as I was already grabbing my bag from my shoulder and walking into the now open elevator doors as Murphy headed back to the chopper, job done. Me and Rouge alone.

"Bushido two, bomb's name was what?" I asked placing the bag gently on the floor.

"Wrap it up, we gotta delta," Rouge ignored the question antsy.

I unzipped it and it came to me, "The Demolitran- we're good to blow!" I turned the bomb active and stood up as Thompson yelled over the headset,

"'Saka elites incoming! Run for it!"

Rouge, on guard by the stairwell doors, looked back at me with fear, "Get the fuck out of there Johnny! Shoot the cables!"

I stepped towards her and turned around, blasting the cables free as the elevator groaned, dropping below.

"Keep the rotors spinning, we are on our way!" She ordered over the headset as I touched her shoulder, "Not done yet, still need to feed this to their subnet," She pushed my hand off and ran it through her hair in frustration.

"I fuckin' knew it!" She threw a hand up and looked away from me, "This was never about 'corporate capitalism'- this was about your groupie output wasn't it?!" She yelled, and I could see the hurt in her face as she looked back at me.

Damn you're beautiful. My chest ached watching her.

"You wouldn't understand Rouge…"

She pointed at me, pissed, "Givin' you four fuckin' minutes! Chopper's not gonna wait one second longer!"

"Door lock breached! Arasaka sons-a-bitches incoming!" Spider Murphy yelled over the headset coms.

"Love you Spider," I was thankful for the warning.

"Whole world loves me!" She shot back laughing, as I kissed Rouge's cheek before I ran through a set of doors leading inside, immediately blasting a guard dead. I was on the porch of an indoor Japanese zen garden taking out soldiers left and right before I ran upstairs.

Headshot. Headshot. Headshot. I continued mowing them down as I ran to an office meeting table. I slid open a panel on the far left of the room, revealing a control panel. I opened a miniature military laptop that Spider loaned me beforehand, and I jacked it into the panel.

"Sweet ICE barrier! Foreign right? Just, wonder if we know anyone who can switch the subnet protocol…" Spider mused in my ears

"Hilarious. You gonna help or not?"

I watched as a bar on the screen slowly uploaded a virus liberator.

"Do Spiders spin webs? It's time we caught some flies."

"Thanks, Murph," I smiled.

"Now, just for good measure…holy cybercow! We're on TV! Take a look."

The TV in the meeting room flicked on remotely, per Spider, to the news.

"And we turn now to Arasaka Tower, its evacuation ongoing after an unidentified terrorist organization released a manifesto threatening violence."

Different widespread fires throughout town flicked across the news channel, along with chaos of civilians throwing mal-tovs, "The terrorist stating their desire to quote-unquote, 'Topple a monument to corporate capitalism.' Night City mayor, Mbole Ebuneke, has issued a statement declaring that he will bring the full force of the law to bear in response to any act of terrorism," The mayor now showed at a podium, addressing the public before it flicked to a broken Arasaka sign. "Going now to our reporter on the scene of Arasaka Tower, hopefully, he can shed some light on this situation as events unfold."

"Alright, now get out of there," Murph stated as the TV flicked off, the virus uploaded. I closed the tablet and took off in a run,

"They're moving up! Hit the road quick!" She called.

Once I reached the zen garden's upper doors, a blast through them threw me back into the sand on the first floor. A hulk of a metal man with four elite guards stood on the edge of the balcony looking down at me.

"Shit, that's Adam Smasher!" Spider screamed.

Just what I need, Smasher cock-blocking me.

Smasher jumped off the balcony landing next to me, and I fired at him repeatedly scrambling up as Spider yelled, "Johnny RUN!"

After losing him with a speed he couldn't match from being such a metalhead, I was now already at the outside stairs running for the chopper whooshing in the distance.

"Run Johnny! Like the wind!" Spider ordered.

I jumped towards the already hovering chopper, as Rouge grabbed my arm while I linked hers, we lifted into the air.

We slipped arms suddenly as a hulking weight pulled at me and I touched her fingers before losing her hand as well. I fell back first onto the concrete taking my breath as the metal hulk paced before dropping his machine gun.

"Smasher." I laughed as he turned towards where I was lying.

"Told ya Johnny boy- told you I'd end you someday," I held my hands out as his mechanical arm unraveled the barrel of a cyber gun.

With a blast, It shot off my left silver cybernetic prosthetic next to me and I blacked out from the pain of the synapses being ripped.

I awoke in a chair strapped down and, after a while of playing cute with the interrogation, it didn't take long for things to become violent. The towering agent immediately socked my face, "Let us try once more. Your associates- who are they? How did you acquire fissile material?"

I don't even know what that is but I'm certainly not ratting out my comrades.

Laughing at the man standing alert behind him, "Gonna give good cop a chance to say something? C'monnn," I whined.

I could use a last cig. And if I somehow live another day, another one.

He looked back at his partner before slamming his fist into my gut, and I groaned in pain.

"Which terrorist organization do you belong to?" He ordered, but I focused on catching my breath

"How did you acquire fissile material?" After receiving nothing, he backhanded my face, "Ugh!" A pained groan escaped me.

Blinking it off, I saw an elderly man with hands behind his back walking into the room with a corporate woman behind him.

I know that old geezer.

"Heh, Boss don't look too pleased with your efforts," I remarked to the agent as he walked away to greet him with full attention.

"Leave us. I wish to look him in the eye," He announced it in Korean, or maybe Japanese? Regardless, it was auto-translated by my remaining cyber-tech. All agents took a deep bow before following orders and leaving immediately.

He strode towards me, and then with hands held behind his back, he looked at the window placing his back to me.

"Hot damn. Done and gone," I remarked.

"My husband died in that tower," The woman stated in English, programming on the black console tower next to me with glowing red lights and monitor. A bunch of tech I just couldn't recognize without Spider.

"But there are fates worse than death," She stated placing a mechanical ring around my head.

"I didn't want him to die," I grit through my teeth.

Saburo finally addressed me in Korean, still with his back to me, "Why did you do this?"

"Why did you do this?" The woman unnecessarily translated for him.

"To bring an end to the madness you wreak!" I shouted at the fucker who couldn't even look at a man before killing them.

He slowly replied, still not turning around, "I have found that most people lie, often deceiving themselves," He slowly turned around with rage in his eyes, "Not so the dead." He stated as I heard whirring rising from the technology as it awoke.

"The dead are so very, very loud. And yet, lying is not in their nature. It is so… humbling- to listen to the dead speak," He continued staring at me closely with pursed lips.

"Begin," He ordered in English this time.

With this, the whirring became deafening with bright lights and burning from the hot red metal haloed around my head.

"AARGH!" I cried before fading to black.

When I awoke I was in a completely blue digital room. Empty blue except for digitalized dots to guide my way, eventually I pieced together that I was still inside Arasaka Tower. As I walked towards the zen garden, I made out a red digital masculine shape with a strong but lean figure and long hair wearing aviators. Before I got too close he walked off disappearing into the code, nothing. In the distance by the stairs, I saw red. As I floated through the blue, seemingly like I was walking despite hearing my footsteps, I saw him sitting on said stairs, arms on his knees hunched in distress. Once again when I got too close he stood and disappeared into the blue code, and nothing again. Curious now, I climbed the stairs- where he ran once before- and saw his red figure against the balcony where Smasher once stood. Every time I got closer to try to make out his face… he disappeared again. I ran down the hallway towards the corporate office and he stood in the hallway.

Once I reached his back, which was sporting a bulletproof vest and his left cybernetic prosthetic- I gently tapped his shoulder.

He spun around staring at me with… not confusion or anger, but unreadable in this code.

"And you... Who are you?" His deep voice echoed, vibrating the digital code until it whisked empty blue then black.
