Chapter 5

~The rebirth of a dragon~

~Helgen manor~

Kushina snapped her head up not knowing what her son did in Konoha but by having a feeling, she knew that he did something reckless and started to feel tears coming down off her face. "Grandma why are you crying?" Lucia asked. Naruko looked up at her mother and seeing the pain in her eyes told her everything, either Naruto was dead or close to dying. That's when Kushina spoke up "everything is fine Lucia." Truth was that Naruto taught the kids how to sense when people are lying, but nobody decided to say anything about it, all the kids knew was that their father is in danger, but they couldn't do anything aboutit so they sat in silence till everyone finished dinner and went to bed. "Papa, if you can hear us, please come back to us please." The children prayed then fell asleep.

~Nagato's tree hideout~

Nagato saw what happened to all the casualties and Yahiko coming back from the dead. "Yahiko?" Nagato said to the former deva path. "What happened?" Yahiko asked himself, clearly not hearing Nagato. Yahiko soon looked up at the Statue of the Dragon and got up and bowed to it. "Thank you for the second chance at life Ryū-Sama, I will never forget it and I will cherish this body as much as I can." He told the statue. Just as that moment, It started to rain, Rigmor appeared on top of the tree and saw Konan, and she pointed Azura's bane at the group. "You!! Where is he?!" Rigmor shouted at them. And Yahiko didn't know who this woman was talking to until he turned around. Konan...Nagato? What happened to you too?!" He asked them, he was surprised that the grew more. "Yahiko, we're sorry…We failed you." Nagato said and the two of them explained what happened till he finally finished with what happened today, then which he looked at the statue with reverence. "That person turned into a dragon and you seen what happened to it." Nagato finished. Naruto had changed Nagato just by doing this now, so they will protect Rigmor with their lives, all three of them if they must. Rigmor stared at the statue when the tears started flowing out,she threw Azura's bane down in front of the statue.

"Azura!!!!!!!!!" She yelled out on top of her lungs and started crying. When she felt someone's hand touch her shoulder she looked up and saw Yahiko. "Don't worry, we'll protect you for now on." He told the sobbing woman. Rigmor looked behind Yahiko and saw that Nagato was talking to Konan. "Konan, it's time for me to walk on my own two feet, help me get up." Nagato said and tried to stand up. "Nagato, no you'll die if you press yourself." Konan told him worried about his health. Nagato motioned her to him, so when Konan went to him he whispered in her ear. "Konan, I need to do this, he was family…" he whispered to her. After that she helped him get up and they walked in front of Rigmor, And held out his hand. "We renounce Akatsuki and swear ourselves to your service. What would you have us do?" He asked her. As soon as he renounced Akatsuki, they heard a crack.

They turned to the sword and the statue and saw something happened to both of them. The statue started to crack in the middle along with the sword, then they both exploded, knocking them back. What they saw shocked them, Naruto was in the blast radius where the dragon was, but he was unconscious. "Naruto!!" Rigmor ran to the boy and tried to wake him up and after a few minutes he woke up but he looked like his soul wasn't there, that happiness, sadness, and anger all gone. Rigmor walked to Nagato and asked him a question. "Can you fix him?" She asked Nagato and he shook his head no. "No I can't, however we can and will protect him also if you want us to." He told the young woman. Rigmor looked back at Naruto being tended to by Yahiko and noticed something else. "His arm is is completely gone…how?" She asked. Nagato shrugged his shoulders, hell if he knew, this boy was a enigma to him. "I don't know, but something tells me you should take him to the village. So they all left, Rigmor taking Naruto on her back and Nagato, Yahiko and Konan following right behind, leaving her alone after a while to keep a safe distance from everyone.

~a few moments ago~

~Naruto's mindscape~

Naruto's soul was losing the fight to stay with his body. Asuna, or the Kyuubi walked towards the boy and bent down to him. "come on Naruto-kun, snap out of it." Asuna said to the boy, however he didn't answer her he just laid there, unmoving, so she pumped more of her chakra into him which put him into this state outside of the mindscape.

Rigmor met with Kakashi, who was surprised by the way Naruto's state was, his eyes was like someone who got separated from his soul, which did happened. So they went back to the village silently however when they reached the village, the villagers started cheering, most of them anyway. "Where's Naruto?" One villager asked, not knowing what is yet to come. Tsunade came forward along with the Konoha rookies, Tsunade immediately saw who was being carried by Rigmor. "Set him down." She asked Rigmor, and she did without question, if Naruto trusted her, she trusted tsunade as well. Rigmor set him down and Tsunade checked him over. "Naruto? Come on bro, that's not cool, stop acting like that." Kiba told the blonde, noticing the difference in the blonde hero. Tsunade got up and asked for a wheelchair, when it came she put him on it and looked at him with sad eyes. "I'll take him to any places he needs to go." Rigmor said. The crowd watched as Naruto was wheeled away by Rigmor. Some villagers still hated Naruto and blamed Pein's attack on him because of the Ninetails, however they just grumbled and walked away.

The shards of Azura's began to glow green, since some of it had Naruto's mokuton blood that he lost. The shards began to shake and merge together when every shard was accounted for there was a flash and when it died down, there was spearhead with Daedric writing and a small unique handle bound to it in gold.

It was sticking in the same spot where Azura's bane was stabbed in the ground.

"Interesting, whisker~kun has made such a impression to me I can't help but be curious…isn't that right my king" a black haired woman told her master who showed to be a redheaded woman when she pulled out the spearhead out of the ground.

~On the outskirts of Konoha~

Rigmor reached the safehouse since Naruto taught her the location of this place before she left him 4 years ago. Once they reached there, she heard some rustling in the bushes nearby. Rigmor readied her sword and pointed it at the bush. "Come out from there, whoever you are." As Rigmor got ready for an attack, two women that were so beautiful that they can hardly be considered human came out. It was Rias Gremory and Akeno Himejima. She has met them once before in Skyrim with Naruto and she also learned that these girls are not human, there was four races other than the people of nirn Dremora,devils,fallen angels, and surprisingly angels, the two in front of her is a Devil and the other is a fallen Angel.

"What are you two doing here?" Rigmor asked,her voice showing that they don't belong here. "Ara~ara,we wanted to see Whisker~Kun and how he's doing." Akeno said stepping forward. 'thank God I put him inside already.' Rigmor thought as she got ready to fight she knew these two girls had ulterior motives with Naruto. That's what she thought,but then Rias Gremory walked forward and set something down which surprised Rigmor. "It can't be…. Azura's bane…." She saw the spearhead was the same writing as the sword only this… this was something different. "What have you done!?" She shouted at Rias. Akeno got angry due to Rigmor shouting at her friend but she backed off when Rias spoke. "We didn't do anything to it, it appeared like that after the shards merged, can we see Naruto-kun?"

She asked.

Eventually Rigmor gave in and let them see Naruto. So they were walking towards the house that Naruto was in, but apparently Rias could tell something is wrong with the way Rigmor was walking. "What happened to him?" Rias asked Rigmor, guessing that had to be it. Rigmor stopped for a moment. "You'll see Rias Gremory…" she said and opened the door. Rias and Akeno stopped and were in surprise because they didn't even tell Naruto her last name in fear they might find out that she's a royal devil. But putting that aside for now, they looked through the doorway and waited for Naruto.

They waited for maybe two minutes and when they thought Naruto was coming out they saw a wheelchair coming out of the house with a person who shocked them, Naruto was just sitting in that chair with only one arm the other one missing from his body and with his other hand he was grasping two swords one dark blue, so dark it looked like a sword that came from the darkness itself and one light blue so light it looked like pure Ice. "W-what happened to him?" Akeno asked, she was fond of the time she had with the blonde four and a half years ago although it was brief. The man she saw now didn't have the same eyes when they last met, the ones that were full of brightness and awareness this man's eyes were dull and lifeless. Rias hugged Naruto, which seemed to get a small reaction out of him, he started to hug her back but let his arms go down again.

Rigmor coughed, getting the attention from the two girls. "While I'd love for us to stay and chat with you two I have to take Naruto and go to the Hokage Tower and get some D Rank missions. If you want to talk come with us, I'll tell the Hokage that you want to help us. Rias and Akeno looked at each other in agreement then at Rigmor. "We'll do it if just to see Naruto, do you think we can be companions on whatever quest you may be on?" Rias asked while folding her arms under her chest making it look even bigger than before. Rigmor thought for a moment. "Sure, but our quest was put on hold for now." Rigmor said and explained everything that happened.

~In Naruto's Mindscape~

Asuna woke up when she felt that surge of power from the creation of the Spear of Azura's bane, but something else is awakening… something she was waiting for a enternity for. "So they finally waking up, it's about damn time. I wonder if they remember what happened to Kirito?" Asuna said to herself, she accepted that Kirito died to protect his friends and send everyone to the future but damn three eras is a long ass time. A shorter younger girl came from the shadows. "Mama, I feel them are they coming to us?" The girl asked her mom. "No Yui not for a while they have to get some bearings on where they are, Perhaps in a few days or weeks."

Asuna told her daughter. She already fixed Naruto's mind but his soul is shattered still.

"Yo, who are you guys talking about who's coming?" Naruto asked afraid for Rigmor and the others. Asuna thought for a moment before answering."either your enemies find you or these people will I knew these people a long time ago Naruto~kun." She told him he just sat there for a moment. "When do you think I can use my body again?" He asked hopefully.

Asuna took a deep breath. "I'm not going to lie I don't know when or if you will wake up." She said, Naruto kept quiet about that.

~Meanwhile in the land of toads~

Carved deep into one of the mountains in the land of toads there existed a cave that held twenty one statues, Eleven of those statues showed each one wore knight armor, however only two had a weapon. All of the statues started glowing during the destruction of the Dragon statue and the creation of the Spear of Azura's bane and started cracking, then one by one they shattered, each leaving a person standing in that spot. "Where are we?" One of the girls that weren't knights asked, she had brown hair and deep blue eyes, her name was Ronye, the formor page of Kirito . "I don't know but I Intend to find out." A blue haired man said, he was built like a warrior, even though he didn't have the armor like the other knights they knew he was the strongest here. He had gold eyes, a bunch of scars on his face and he was leaning on the time piercing Sword,a greatsword that alters Time if used correctly. This man's name was Bercoulli.

A person in the group was getting fed up with everyone because they seem like they were happy a fugitive sent them forward in time. "Where the hell is he!?" The man in question had pale blue hair and blue eyes, His name was Eldrie. Everyone stared at him, ever since he lost his weapon in the great war, he's been more irritated with everyone except for Alice. Oh how she could know about his crush and return his feelings to him, but no that damn black swordsman came in the picture, how he loathed Kirito. "That's enough Eldrie. There's a time to be angry and a time to protect, we do not even know where or when we were freed." Alice said.

Alice Zuberg was a woman with beautiful blue eyes with long blonde hair braided in a ponytail that went all the way to her back, she wore golden armor and wielded The Fragrant Olive Sword, a golden sword that can turn into tiny stars that will cut down the user's enemies easily. "Uncle, I will join you to find out info on this era and place, Perhaps our Dragons survived." Alice said to Bercoulli. The blue haired Sword wielder sighed and looked at Alice. "Alice, you can come however our Dragons may be long dead, like that young swordsman you became smitten with." He said partially teasing her. Alice's face went red. "Uncle!!!" She screamed, and Bercoulli chuckled. "In all seriousness though the other integrity knights should protect the others that were freed in case we are in a hostile environment." Alice finished.

Bercoulli nodded. "Fizel and Linel you guys watch the cave entrance you know what to do if intruders comes." He said to the twin integrity knights, They Nodded. "Subdued and torture them for info, we are on the case." They both said at the same time and left. "Damn that's still a creepy sight I wonder if anyone has that type of thing now." Bercoulli said. Meanwhile in konoha a certain wood style wielding anbu Sneezed, Back to the cave. " Well Alice let's go do this hopefully we can find something useful." Bercoulli said And with that they explored.

~Meanwhile in a Underground bunker~

Orochimaru laughed like a madman because of what his scouts told him. Naruto Uzumaki was a braindead ninja now. "Maybe I should have Sasuke~kun finish him off ...No, I want to kill him slowly for what his father did, stealing my seat as Hokage, kukuku maybe Minato Will feel his pain and cry for his only son." He told himself, however Sasuke heard the whole thing and walked away. 'Hn so the dobe is braindead huh serves him right." He shrugged and walked away. Things Will be more interesting for now on.

~outside of Konoha gates~

Alice and Bercoulli ended up being teleported here after those strange toads told them that mountain was sacred. They started walking towards the noise when they heard voices and woodcutting after walking they came to a clearing and Alice was shocked and sad at the same time when she looked at a man in a wheelchair it reminded her of Kirito however they man's back was to them. Rigmor stopped swinging the Night sky sword and turned around along with Rias and Akeno. "Who are you and why are you here?" Rigmor said while pointing the Night sky sword at them shocking them both however Bercoulli coughed and started talking." I'm sorry we were just wandering around, we're lost." Bercoulli started, he didn't say anything about the group in the cave due to the mistrust.

Rigmor figured that Naruto wanted to see the intruders, so she turned him to the newcomers, which shocked Alice more. "Kirito?" Alice whispered, Bercoulli grew confused as to why she'd say that, this boy was blonde he doesn't have black hair. Alice walked up to Naruto however she got the Night sky sword next to her neck "Step closer to him and you will die." Rigmor threatened, Alice looked back at Naruto and saw that rias and Akeno stood in front of him protectively. Alice gulped and thought of something. "We're from the past, we were sealed in a cave in a mountain side and those swords you and the boy are holding onto were my dear friends." She said quickly, hoping they'll believe her. Rigmor sighed and lowered the sword. "So what do you want? you won't get these swords if that's what you're asking." Rigmor said.

"We have friends in that mountain side if those toads didn't teleport us here we would have been back at the cave. I want to ask if you can help us?" She asked. Rigmor thought for a moment 'toads? Wasn't that the summons for the toads'

Rigmor thought. "I guess you can talk to the Hokage and she can get the toads attention and to send your friends here where we can shelter you I guess." Rigmor said. Reaching her hand out for Alice to take. After thinking for a second she took the hand and got up. "Well if we're going to know each other my name is Alice and this is Bercoulli, but I just call him uncle since he raised me." Alice said to the brunette.

"Well Alice, my name is Rigmor and the redhead woman is called Rias and the back haired girl is called Akeno and this man here is Naruto." Rigmor said, gesturing to the blonde man. Alice looked at the two swords again. "How did you people come up with those swords? They were destroyed in my time sealing us." Alice asked. Rias and Akeno narrowed their eyes at Alice. They were guessing they might be for the swords. They were about to cast their spells when Bercoulli spoke up. "Don't worry ladies, we're not here for the weapons, we're just curious about this whole situation." He said, and he noticed that they relaxed some. They continued talking until an anbu came to Rigmor and spoke. "The final exams are ready to start. Can you get ready by heading to the kage booth of the stadium?" He said to Rigmor. "We'll be right there" Rigmor told the anbu. When the anbu left Rigmor spoke again. "So it's time huh? Rias, Akeno we're leaving to go to the stadium." She said then looked at the swordsmen. "Want to come?" The brunette asked the duo. Alice and Bercoulli looked at each other then nodded and followed Rigmor,Rias and Akeno.

~at the Stadium~

Tsunade started getting anxious, Rigmor and Naruto was a big part of the invasion, so they should be here by now. The 4 kages and a few minor kages came with two escorts, Garra was the kazekage, the youngest kazekage to be named,A was the Raikage, he was a proud but stubborn man, Mei Terumi was the Mizukage, with her seductive personality and battle experience won her the title of Mizukage, then there was Ōnoki, the Tsuchikage, a stubborn old man who surprisingly agreed with the chunin exams this year in Konoha and a few other kages. "Where's the group I asked for?" Tsunade whispered to the anbu next to her. "I'm sorry lady Hokage, we just let them know and left they should be here shortly." The anbu said, just as he said that the group of six people poofed In the Booth, Rigmor pushed Naruto by Tsunade and sat down but even before the exams started, Everyone in the stands fell asleep and the invasion started. Orochimaru, revealing himself, started to barricade the kages together but failed and only got the group with Rigmor and Tsunade, the rest escaped before it happened. Orochimaru tried to stab Naruto but Rigmor blocked him with her sword she borrowed from Naruto,the Night Sky Blade.

Orochimaru however managed to knock the wheelchair over and started attacking Rigmor and the group, however he started smelling something weird. "It smells sweet like Nector of the Kami." He looked at Naruto and saw he had a broken spear stabbed in the ground so He summoned the dead. "Edo tensei." a coffin marked as the forth rose up. Naruto's eyes were shadowed and he took a Breath. "Enhance Armament!" He said surprising everyoneas light started sparking around him and the spear.

~Cliffhanger no jutsu~

(an- I know some of this stuff is confusing, however ill explain the spear. it is not the same as the one from assassin's Creed Odyssey but it looks like it with Daedric runes and it is still a peice of eden if you want to see the effects of peices of eden look up apple of eden assassin's Creed, have a good time and see you guys next time I post.
