Day 9: December 9th:

The following day, Sharon found a small gift bag filled with green tissue paper next to the vanity when she went to take a shower that morning.

Andy had spent the night at her place the night before and must have put it in there when he went to grab them coffee that morning.

Sharon smiled at the gift bag and then turned the shower on, letting the water heat up a bit before entering it.

After she'd gotten out of the shower and blow-dried her hair while in her robe, she picked up the bag and set it on the counter.

"Can I open this now?" Sharon bellowed at Andy from the hallway of the bathroom.

"Yeah. I thought you might have opened it before you took a shower," replied Andy.

"I have more self control than you," teased Sharon.

"That's not what you were saying yesterday morning," Andy shot back.

"Okay. You win," replied Sharon as she smiled to herself before removing the green tissue paper from the bag.

As Sharon pulled the bottles out of the bag, she found that one was vanilla body wash, a bottle of vanilla bubble bath, and some vanilla massage oil.

"Is this a mutually beneficial gift?" asked Sharon.

It was then that Andy came down the hallway and towards the bathroom doorway.

"It is if you want it to be," answered Andy as he put his tie on and kissed Sharon on the cheek.

Sharon turned her cheek a second later and gave Andy a passionate kiss on the lips.

Once they broke apart for air, Sharon said, "Thank you."

"No problem. I figured you love baths and vanilla and we're going to Santa Barbara this weekend. I have it on good authority that the hotel room includes a large bed and bathtub," Andy told her.

"God, I love you," replied Sharon before she kissed him again.

When Andy broke the kiss a few seconds later, he asked, "What was that for?"

"For paying attention to the things I like," answered Sharon sultrily.

Andy blushed at the insinuation for a moment before he said huskily, "It's my pleasure, Sharon,"
