A/N: Thank you for all the love on this story so far! Y'all are the best! I'm still wading through comments, but I'll do my best to try and (mostly) catch up on replies later today.

Day 10: December 10th

It was Friday morning and it was the day they'd be departing to Santa Barbara for the weekend.

As Sharon did some last minute packing, Andy waited in the living room watching Dodgers highlights on SportsCenter.

"You know we're only going for a weekend, right?" joked Andy.

"Yes. I'm a chronic overpacker though," bellowed Sharon from the bedroom.

"Take your time. We've got another hour before we need to be on the road," Andy reassured her.

"I'm almost done. I promise," Sharon told him as she put the last few things into her overnight bag and zipped it up.

As Sharon came into the living room with her bag, she set the bag next to the couch and went to sit on Andy's lap as she handed him a small red box.

"What's this?" asked Andy.

"Your gift for today," Sharon told him.

"Oh. Okay," said Andy.

"Open it," Sharon told him.

Andy popped the top off of the box and found a metal keychain with an engraving on it.

As he read the inscription, it read:

Gone out to get coffee. Be back soon.

Sharon

It was engraved in Sharon's swoopy handwriting.

"Is this your handwriting?" asked Andy curiously.

"Yeah. I've got one from you in your handwriting that says, "Gone out to get croissants. Be back soon," said Sharon as she pulled her keys out of her purse and showed him.

Andy ran his hand over the engraving and smiled before he asked, "We're quite the pair, aren't we?"

"Yeah, we are," replied Sharon before she kissed his lips chastely before Andy deepened it.

Once Sharon broke the passionate kiss, she said,"Save it for the hotel room, casanova. We don't have that much time."

"I hate that you're right about that," replied Andy begrudgingly as Sharon climbed out of his lap and grabbed her purse off the floor & put her overnight bag on her shoulder.

"Here. Let me take your bag," said Andy.

"Thanks," replied Sharon as she handed Andy her overnight bag and they headed for the door.

Before Andy opened the door, he pulled Sharon in for a hug and said, "Thank you, by the way."

As Andy kissed her cheek afterwards, Sharon pulled away and said, "You're welcome. Now, let's hit the road, casanova."

Andy opened the door and said, "After you, my dear."

Sharon's laugh reverberated through his ears as they shut and locked the door before heading for the elevator.

God, he was truly a lucky man.
